I've managed to knock the fire extinguisher down to the ground and move the cup on the table backwards and forwards ... but that's it - HELP!

ReplyDeleteif you click on the walking guys pocket you get a chisel type tool and you can use it to cut the chair leg of the dude with the hat sitting in front of the computer... but i haven't figured out the reasoning behind doing all that yet!!! Any suggestions

ReplyDeleteLook at the PC, there is a man with 37468 written on his head, use that number backwards in the telephone near the PC, you will get a key :)

ReplyDeleteI found a key...it's in the heel of the shoe of the prisoner sitting on the ground with the guy handcuffed to the bars. You have to click on the heel repeatedly to reveal it. you then can use the key on the yellow locked box on the wall. You get a pair of pliers that you use on the red box on the bench with the guy on the phone. The box opens, but nothing more has come of it so far.

OK. I think the "key" to the game (joke - Geddit?) is using the zoom function in flash to examin tiny bits of the game. Also you seem to have to do things which aren't quite connected.
ReplyDelete1. On the first screen click the sleeping guy's left hand and he will eventually drop a key. You have to find the exact place to click.
2. On the guy that's walking back and forth, wait until he's walking to your right and click the saw blade in his pocket to get it.
3. Go right to the scene with three prisoners.
4. use the key to unlock the chap's cufflinks.
5. On the heel of the guy's shoe (the one sitting on the ground) click it repeatedly to reveal another key.
6. Go right and right again.
7. Zoom in on the computer and screen number two will show a clue.
8. Type this number backwards into the phone. You should get another key.
9. Use the two keys you've got to open the drawers on the wall. Get a black disc and a pair of pliers.
10. Go to the scene with two guys speaking on the phone. Use the pliers to open the briefcase and examine the contents.
11. Go to the first scene and place the black disc on the camera in the room with the walking chap.
12. Go back to the scene with the guard in front of the computer.
13. use the hacksaw blade to cut the legs off his chair (drag it to the rear right hand leg) and he'll fall to the ground and the door should open.
You can also drag the fire extinguisher off the wall, drag the cup around the table, get the guy to clean the floor and change the colour of the light ontop of the computer, but these don't seem to be necessary to complete the game. Unless you know better of course!

Rich - strangely enough my walkthrough is 180-degrees opp. to yours - final activity I did was to unlock the prisioners handcuffs.

ReplyDeletetheres an easier way to get the key out of the sleeping guy's hand in the first scene....if you left click with your mouse and select zoom in a bunch of times, then you can click from there like right between his thumb and fingers kinda under the hand almost and the key falls! (when you zoom in, you'll be using a hand instead of a regular mouse pointer.)

READ ME use the pliers but the trick is put the cursor ( with the pliers of shit selected) right in the lock of the briefcase and game over, try " crimson room" this game sucks bad :@
