alexandra - are you playing the real piano, or the keyboard? on the real piano, the keys don't look like the press down, but they're working. if you play it correctly, you'll get a message that says 'something happened'....and then you'll be like me and wonder WHAT happened, and where? :-)
ReplyDeletethanks got it
ReplyDeleteoops mieke! i didn't read the rest of your comment of 1:04 (6:04 p.m. my time). i truly think the pantone and elephant are red herrings, to throw us off. once you open the file in the computer and see the picture, you can go to the door and exit. have you tried the door, and it's not working?
ReplyDeletenot really.. I thought I would be able to open the wooden box after entering all the missing parts... maybe we need a combination of which parts have to stick out...
ReplyDeleteis anyone in the kitchen...clicking like mad and can't find anything
ReplyDeleteGood... Out... Finally... ¬¬
ReplyDeleteGotta go study...
Good luck everybody and thnx.
and im out
ReplyDeleteWhere are the parts for the wooden block?
ReplyDeletejessica did you put the three wood pieces in the sides of the box? if so then all you need is the right combination of pegs to stick out of the front. I think it was top left and lower right.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing in the kitchen... Go ahead...
ReplyDeletenvm...found the key after playing the song.
ReplyDeletedid anyone find his LOST pawn back???? i've been looking for 15 minutes now and i can't find it!!

ReplyDeleteany help on room 9? i don't know where to look
ReplyDeleteomg I never would have looked there...thanks
ReplyDeletehas anyone any items left in room 10?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I missed the piece in the kitchen. Do you need to know which pegs to pull?
ReplyDeleteHelp! I am stuck in the kitchen. I have clicked everything.

ReplyDeleteoh so i had to do everything again... ok i gonna try it...
ReplyDeletebut jburd... you didnt loose it again right???
okay, i give. where's the wooden peg? i've got the ball and octagon.
ReplyDeletenope - it stuck around this time, mostly because i knew the correct order to put the pawns and got the key. i didn't give it a chance to get lost! :-D
ReplyDeleteyeah did it. Turn the box around!!!
ReplyDeletejburd - in the kitchen!
ReplyDeletehey nik - can you please share where you found the peg that you put in the side?
ReplyDeleteNp jburd, at least you helped me :D
ReplyDeleteNow strugling with the puzzle, i think there are more of the same pieces in other colors, is that correct ?
oops! sorry for the overlap, there! thanks, wunderlich!
ReplyDeleteAH stupid box cant figure out which pegs to pull
ReplyDeleteP.S. yes im back :)
mieke - which puzzle? the one from the cabinet in the pool-table room?
ReplyDeletewunderlich - thanks again, but...uh...no luck. clicked everywhere! all say 'nothing here'. can you tell me, drawer or cabinet, or island? ty!

ReplyDeleteWheres the wooden ball at in room 10?
ReplyDeleteOUT...finally! thanks to all for the help! i'd still be stuck back in room 4 if y'all weren't around.
ReplyDeletemieke - are you still working on one of the puzzles? you got quiet!
the wooden ball is under the piano. not under, but on the floor in front of the piano. make sense?
ReplyDeleteI clicked the order but nothing happens ? The puzzle moves, think thats not correct, do they need to fit and fasten ?
ReplyDeleteAlmost 2 am here; i'm getting quiet :D
ReplyDeletesorry, but just to make sure, which puzzle? the one on top of the red box in the room where you solved the jigsaw puzzle?
ReplyDeleteI just solved the jigsaw puzzle, clicked up up down left down down right up down up ... on the puzzle pieces, correct ? Or do i use my arrowkeys on keyboard :D ... my head is already asleep :D
ReplyDeleteAHA!! i'm with you mieke!! okay, the jigsaw puzzle doesn't have to be exact and the pieces will move even after you place them. the object is to get the up, down, left, right words off it. then back out of it, go to the red box in the bookcases, and click the arrows on top in the order given.
ReplyDeleteI need help with room 10, been clicking everywhere looking for something to go in the wooden box... Any help??
ReplyDeletekelly - which room is 10? the kitchen or cellar?
ReplyDeleteI cant really open the wodden box in level 10 :(
ReplyDeleteI have 3 pieces of wood left I already inserted one on the left side now stuck with 2 more a ball and the hexagon what to do pleeease...
okay found the peg in the kitchen, but now it still won't open, and I don't get what to do with these octagon and ball i found.
ReplyDeleteroom 10 is the cellar.
ReplyDeleteafter you put the piece in the left side, click just barely to the right of the box and you should get a very little green arrow that will turn the box so you can see the opposite side. the ball and octogon go in there.
ReplyDeleteomg lollllllll ... silly me !
ReplyDeletetyvm jburd ... got it now :D
thank you soo much finally out :)
ReplyDeletelol, mieke! n/p!
ReplyDeleteWhat do i need to play at the piano, the cdefgab are the keys, so i play the efgabcdef ?

ReplyDeleteyou click the piano keys (the real piano), and play D G C F E G A. if you play it right, you'll get a message that says 'something happened'. the hint to find the key is "the birdie loves this song" (or something close to that).
ReplyDeleteslaap lekker Tineke, good night tineke
ReplyDeletemieke you have to play DGCFEGA on the piano
ReplyDeleteMieke jij slaap ook lekker straks!! (O;
ReplyDeletetyvm both, played without any sound, the neighbours will love that :D

ReplyDeletedon't panic! is room 9 the kitchen?
ReplyDeleteFound a peg ... wondering what to do with the wooden ball.
ReplyDeleteyes it is
ReplyDeletebtw - where are you? country, that is.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteDid I miss a clue for the pegs on the box in the cellar or is it trial and error?
ReplyDeletethe peg is the only thing you get in the kitchen. the riddle/poem on the counter tells you where to find the key. it's where you would USE it, at the bottom. :-D
ReplyDeleteI found the note and see something under the drawers, but its not doing anything.
ReplyDeleteah. that explains the Netherlands/German comment!
ReplyDeleteTrini - put the wooden pieces you've found in the trays on each side, then top left and bottom right should be pulled out.
room 4 please help have ring in box what other to things go in box?
ReplyDeleteNow that was a short sneaky room :D
ReplyDeletenope, nothing under the drawers. get the peg, read the note, and head to the right to the door.
ReplyDeleteCome on mieke
ReplyDeleteI'm out for at least an hour.
Geef sjette
hi ruth - pour water from the red cup on the poem, it will show the word to use on the box. The washer being the "O" is correct. So far, so good!
ReplyDeletealmost there now finally :D
ReplyDeleteRoom 10, put in the peg,
found wooden octagon, whats next ?
room 4 help
ReplyDeleteThanks jburd, but where did I miss the part about top left and bottom right? I didn't see it or I missed it!
ReplyDeleteHoudie Tosca ... and you didn't help me :D ... Goed gedaan, well done Tosca ... is it the same time there as it is here ? :D
ReplyDeleteyou should have a wooden ball from the piano room, too. click just barely to the right edge of the box, and you'll get a tiny green arrow to let you turn the box.
ReplyDeleteWhat do they mean by, " its very tempting " ? The wine ? no ty its to late for it :D
ReplyDeletethank you jburb
ReplyDeletethe top-left, bottom-right clue was buried back around post #150! I had to read the whole forum to find it. no problem! :-D
ReplyDeleteplaced the peg and the 2 wooden things but want open ?
ReplyDeletelol! mine said "lots of yummy wine" when I clicked the case behind the box on the floor. made me laugh, and i was so frustrated at the time, I thought - "bring it on!" ;-D
ReplyDelete@mieke : All the answers were in the previous posts. So I left.
ReplyDeleteVan welke stad zijt ge ? Ik, Gent.
clicked the top?
ReplyDeleteand pulled out the correct pegs?
ReplyDeleteAlexandra - I pushed the keys on the piano in this order: 2 5 1 4 3 5 6 and then the dialogue said 'something happened'
ReplyDeletelittle help with the kitchen anyone??

ReplyDeleteand in room 10 its very hard but i finish yes im out ^^
Hi everyone! I was wondering if someone can help me. I'm in room six and can't figure out the password for the door.
ReplyDeletepat its unicorn
ReplyDeletethe key for the kitchen is at the down side of the door, no need to search around the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteRoom 8 is the Music room, and for that, you just have to play the right notes (below the bird cage is how to read a bar and how to read a piano). As for playing the music, you have to play all of the notes in the right order and if you did it right, it will say something happened and the key will be under the birdcage.
ReplyDeleteFor Room 9, think about it...think differently (or obviously). Where is the most likely place someone would put a key in Real Life.
I'm stuck on room 10. I need to put something into a slot. Am I missing something or is it in the room?
Well, I am back. Had to re-start after losing my blue pawn also. It was night-time by the time I re-started and OMG, at least now I can see a lot of the things I was missing and making it so frustrating. Like, I never saw the letters in the second room. Thank y'all for all your hints. Could not have done it without you. Fun game!!!
ReplyDeleteXelkelvos, I had the hardest time myself finding that little peg. It is in the kitchen on the corner of the counter, and I think it is a little bit lower than the main counter (bottom left). I am not in that screen anymore, so I hope that helps. Good luck!
ReplyDeletefor room 5
ReplyDeletewats the password for the door
i already have the password for the computer
the picture of a unicorn comes out...
then ???
Where is the box in room 10?
ReplyDeleteok i need help in room 6
ReplyDeletewat order do i put the pawns in !?
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletehelp please !?
ReplyDeleteanyone ?!
For the piano keys:
ReplyDeleteIf the keys you play are marked 1-7 (from left to right) then the order is; 2,5,1,4,3,5,6. I couldn't hear them play very well because of the music, but after I did it a text box said that 'something' happened. Another way to tell is if there is a wooden ball at the bottom left of the piano and the key is on the lower part of the bird cage. Hope that helps! ^_^
I need help with the wooden box in the wine cellar... I put an odd shaped wood piece in it but now nothing I do works! Please help!
Jenny - pawns spell out VIRGO (the symbol at the top of the box)
ReplyDeleteV - violet (purple)
I - indigo (blue)
R - red
G - green
O - orange
I'm out! *That* took me long enough! I couldn't figure out how to turn the box... ^_^
ReplyDeleteRoom 10
ReplyDelete“top left and down right”
Why?
Is there any hint?
ok, I read all the posts, and I'm still trapped in second room! Easy to unscramble, but it's said that @ bath tub's end is place to put in code (sauna) but i can not find any field to log the code into....? are you SURE it's on the bath tub end????
ReplyDelete(I love the fact it's Aussie money I recognise that! even have a wee bit in the wallet!)

johanna, it's "40". two american coins (which is 5 cent each) is worth one australian coin (which makes that worth 10 cent). Add all = 2x5 + 3x10 = 40.
ReplyDeleteAm in the kitchen, which I think is the final room.
ReplyDeleteI have found a peg but can't find the key....
Anyone able to offer any help?
TIA...

ReplyDeleteI am not a musician, can anyone help me figure out the notes to the birdies song. Please?
ReplyDeletei'm just starting! i've had a crummy time trying to get this game to load...finally, it is loaded...sssg games are so cool! did anyone else have a problem trying to get this game to load? i'm definitely the straggler!!!! LOL! Everyone is already out...well, here goes!
ReplyDeletei a,m so smart i put the water on the book in room 3 and i just guessed it to!!
ReplyDeletemusic room press mute play keys in order2514356 key on bird cage
ReplyDeletein the final room, I can't find anything of use...is there a hidden message in the note by any chance??
ReplyDeletefor room nine, you need to click the piano closer to the keys and you will get a set of about 6 or so keys!
can someone tell me if the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle are supposed to rotate?
ReplyDeleteRoom 5 is driving me crazy also, I have tried the intitial letters of every word of the sticky note they just don't work!
ReplyDeleteWhy does the J and I look the same in this font, and I am trying them both ways so that's not the problem?
Sorted! though I still don't know what was wrong because I didn't have the letters wrong but when I copied and pasted them from some place else they worked so it must be a bug?
i'm out! Fun game...
ReplyDelete@dreamspinner: in case you are still in the music room, this is how to play the Birdies Song...the notes on the sheet are d,g,c,f,e,g,a. When you click on the piano, the white keys go in this order (left to right): c,d,e,f,g,a,b. All you need to do is play the song in the order of the notes on the music sheet....hope this will help!
WOW 1st time ive played an sssg. i wouldn't have been able 2 do it without every1 hints/tips & advice. i've just registered so hopefully i can repay the favour on another game thanx very much all
