    ReplyDelete
  19. i think the 3rd steps is to mix the paper with magnifying glass (ain't look like key to me). but it wont works. even that figurine on bookrack has no meaning so far. and yes, no idea what's that thing at the side of the bookrack for.
need to go. hopefully someone can solve this. good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  20. i've got all items in my inventory. need to do something wit the box. 3 key used, 1 unused.step 1-2 is done (results is the blue square on white paper). anyone understand that chinese word in the box?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm assuming that the button on the box just says "reset" or "enter" or something...that's what is usually the case on the games that I usually play

    ReplyDelete
  22. It looks like a stick or something on the top of the shelving unit, but I cant click anything there and zooming in doesnt help. Ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  23. ugh need code for the box in inventory

    ReplyDelete
  24. am sure the book case splits open with handle, which is probably in box.

    ReplyDelete
  25. http://www.englishjapaneseonlinedictionary.com/dictionary_kanji_TOC.html on this website it looks like the symbol on the wall when using the magifiy glass means round object

    ReplyDelete
  26. The symbol from the blue dot plus the square = (国) and means "country."

The symbol in the picture is the upside down symbol for "to exit" (出)

The symbol on the box means "Yes"

    ReplyDelete
  27. it might just be blurry on top of the wall cabinet, or my eyes

    ReplyDelete
  28. anyone figure out code for box?

    ReplyDelete
  29. 玉 can mean jewels, stone, coin, etc. Basically something small.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Do we think this code is supposed to be in English or Chinese???

    ReplyDelete
  31. what would the symbol for country mean if it was upside down like the exit sign?

    ReplyDelete
  32. hey, i'm not sure if this game is still live, but i have all the items, and i've used some of the keys..what is the code for the box? and what does that symbol mean on the wall (with the magnifying glass)?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hi
I`m stuch whit all items, 1 key not used, and kant find the kode for this (book)
    someone who can help?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm still trying to translate the sign on the door, since the kanji are really blurry, but the first line says "Welcome to Japan"

    ReplyDelete
  35. Let's check it out, hope I'm not to late

    ReplyDelete
  36. helloooo! anyone playing?

    ReplyDelete
  37. wow, we are all stuck in the exact same position and there aren't really any clues as to how to progress :S

    ReplyDelete
  38. The last line of the note on the door says something like "I want to find Japan's _____" I'm still working on trying figure out which symbol the ____ is, but it is super hard to read.

    ReplyDelete
  39. i know this is cheating but if you face the bookcase wall then left click and select forward then click where it looks like a handle would go the book case moves, use your last key and your out

    ReplyDelete
  40. so if you turn the symbol for round thing upside down you get birth. does anyone have any idea if that is useful? i am soooo stuck

    ReplyDelete
  41. hubcap was the wizard we needed, because we are unable to get in the box for the handle!

    ReplyDelete
  42. i am super impressed with jenny's perseverance! maybe she will get the clue that finishes the game with the handle!

    ReplyDelete
  43. all items and no solutions? this is fun

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hubcap, do you have anything highlighted while clicking the two dots right of the bookcase? 'Coz it's not working for me yet.

    ReplyDelete
  45. for what it's worth, the tab key works. It shows a yellow box just under the framed picture on the wall, but clicking there just takes you to the picture. hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  46. all of this stagnation due to a handle that's in a locked box..it's too bad that the clues for the code were not made more clear..we all know that there is a handle in the box and the handle goes onto the shelving unit in order to pull it away and reveal a door, which is where we use the last key to exit..but it's just this damn code that's stopping us! grr

    ReplyDelete
  47. Well I'm stuck as wel, where everyone else is. Have no ideas either.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hubcap, I'll ask again: how'd you get the bookcase to move...or were you just kidding?

    ReplyDelete
  49. I digging throug my little "just enough Japanese" book.. hope I find something that makes sense

    ReplyDelete
  50. ginger just look at the wall with the bookcase and right click select form the menu forward the click the area where a handle would go, the book case should automaticaly move

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hubcap is missing...lol...last seen at the right of a bookcase, near two dots...maybe he vanished inside those?!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hubcap, thanx, but I tried that and it won't work...

    ReplyDelete
  53. does anybody know the purpose of the paper with the blue square on it that's sitting in our inventory?

    ReplyDelete
  54. is the blue square from the paper supposed to be "combined" with the tiny blue symbol on the wall? (combined in the sense that we have to imagine that those two symbols are together as one)

    ReplyDelete
  55. I give up
    good night too you

    ReplyDelete
  56. Night Lindy...yeah, it's a bit frustrating hm?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Did i miss the live game?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Nope, Kendy...we're still alive...lol...but seriously stuck. Come catch up with us!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I gave up half an hour ago and went away to play another game.

The only way I got out was to right click (like hubcap said) but hit 'Play' lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. ok im playing fast lol..So far i have a ton of keys lol

    ReplyDelete
  61. so if you read it semi literally, the three symbols in order are 出口玉

Not exactly sure what that means, but the symbols mean exit small round object

So some sort of exported jewel? coin? food? I've got no idea. >_<

    ReplyDelete
  62. From hint 1 in the inventory (the rectangle), you might think that it refers to the picture on the wall, right? But it doesn't bring me any further... :-[

    ReplyDelete
  63. Jenny, I admire your knowledge of Japanese...could the small round object be the dot on the wall that we have to remove somehow?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Or could that same blue dot on the wall be our exit? I'll try and click like crazy...brb...lol

    ReplyDelete
  65. in one of the drawers you get a magnifying glass..use it on the blue dot to get another symbol....not sure if someone already said that lol

    ReplyDelete
  66. Jenny at least you are trying..
    it helps a little..

    ReplyDelete
  67. Okay...been there, done that...and the only observation I have made is that the small blue dot changes into a small blue square when I click on it. Hm...(thinking hard)

    ReplyDelete
  68. exit ball is another way of translating the symbols

    ReplyDelete
  69. Kendra...right, that was my thought as well...but the dot won't respond to it...lol

    ReplyDelete
  70. If you look at the third piece of paper, there is a little plus sign visible. If you add the last two characters together, you would get:

    出国

Which means exit from a country, or something related to that...

    ReplyDelete
  71. The notes are not 出口玉
They look more like 出 口 +玉. There's a plus sign before the magnifying glass.

It should be read as 出国 (shikkoku, departure).

I coudn't open the box, though.
    :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. oops, too late.
    Thanks Jenny

    ReplyDelete
  73. :)

Guess we had the same thoughts Professor Nono. Despite that, I haven't been able to open that box. >_<

    ReplyDelete
  74. taking your clues, I have tried to think of anything that would be required to leave the country...passport, suitcase, airplane, ship...nothing yet.

    ReplyDelete
  75. the text at the entrance means

"Entrance to a mysterious country..whether it can come off safe.."

does not really help anything but it does prove country is right.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Jenny, that does make sense, since the name of the game is: escape world...

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hi! just joined this game hope I can catch up

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hi Mishna...yeah, come and get stuck with us...lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. I couldnt find anything out with the translations on the main page that would help but the janapese translation after the word chapter 1 is immigration

    ReplyDelete
  80. whats password box
    please

    ReplyDelete
  81. ok, i got it from a japanese walkthrough.

Since the 出(exit) kanji is upside-down, the correct kanji is 入(enter).

So instead of 出国 we must use 入国.
The ok button on the box is typed with kanji because we must enter the kanjis and not some western characters or hiraganas.

The walkthrough states that the password is 入国 but it doesn't work for me yet.

I'll try to read the full text looking for something missing.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oww Gamze...if only we knew...lol

    ReplyDelete
  83. WOW...that worked for me!! Thanks Prof....I'm out

    ReplyDelete
  84. Professor...hope we won't have to enter a word in Japanese characters...'cause they're missing on my keyboard, and then it'll be game over for me...And there wasn't a warning that this game would have a language barrier, or?

    ReplyDelete
  85. hi everyone. i have all items except the one at the bottom of the inventory by the magnifying glass. need a little help please

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'll translate the walkthrough. It looks like you can screw the game up somehow.
Maybe if you don't do something in the correct order it doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wow did anyone already figure the code for the box

    ReplyDelete
  88. Ehm...MartinD: WHAT exactly worked for you?

    ReplyDelete
  89. @ginger: Just copy-paste this 入国

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thanks Prof. :)

It won't work for me, so I probably screwed something up along the way, but at least I know it works!

    ReplyDelete
  91. I just cut and pasted the Professor's password and hit the characters on the box and it opened.

    ReplyDelete
  92. i keep getting the same answers wherever i look entrance ball lol,,the last item you are looking for in under the sofa lani

    ReplyDelete
  93. Not for me Martin, Congratulations!

I finished Turkish game finally, Warning EXTREME pixel hunt LOL

    ReplyDelete
  94. Professor did it finally work for you?

    ReplyDelete
  95. ginger*
    Professor Nono
    thanks

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanx Prof and MartinD...but it won't work for me...I'm getting fed up with this game... :-[

    ReplyDelete
  97. Me too Ginger, love these games but can't translate

    ReplyDelete
  98. ok i have the password but i just can't enter it..maybe there is something i forgot to do before i can open the box..

    ReplyDelete
  99. I just reloaded and played again and the Prof's two characters definately work.

You get the handle and put it on the side, zoom out and click where the handle is and it slides to the right revealing a door, use the key and outski...

    ReplyDelete
  100. So, Prof and MartinD: any ideas about what order is the right one?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Ginger, when I just played again I did everything you would do to progress in the game including zooming in on the picture and using the magnifing glass...don't know why it isn't working for you guys :(

    ReplyDelete
  102. Walkthrough:

I must apologize for my poor english and my even worst japanese.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Nvm, I'll try again tomorrow...first I'm gonna hit a wall, and then I'm gonna hit my bed...not lol anymore. Thanx all...see ya next game ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  104. at last i am out!...thank you for your translations professor.

In order to get out you must make sure you click on all the clues and look at every piece of paper before you can enter the password.

    ReplyDelete
  105. lol
i typed worst instead of worse.

    -.-"

    ReplyDelete
  106. I can't seem to copy and paste the code..help

    ReplyDelete
  107. @mishna: keep trying, there's little we can do.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I can copy and paste. I
    t just won't work.

    ReplyDelete
  109. thanks all! you were great figuring all the symbols..
    I am out!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Kendra, I'm not sure you do have to do everything in order to open the box. I emptied my cache, loaded a new game and the box still opened for me without getting anything else.
I couldn't get out though because I didn't have the key.

    ReplyDelete
  111. 入国

Just these two characters, thanks again for them Professor.

    ReplyDelete
  112. @Lori: I had to replay the game using the walkthrough to make the code work.

This game doesn't allow you to enter the code if you don't do something the way he likes.

    Examine everything you got.

There are two spots to get closer to the painting:
Click the painting to zoom in and try to click the wall under the painting to zoom into it too.

    ReplyDelete
  113. right click on cabinet, then left click forward, cabinet will seperate in two, then use last key to exit.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Thanks Prof. Nano I think I don't have japanese characters. I manage to cut and paste but it looks like half squares.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Started again and symbols worked fine for me, this time and I used them immediatly after I picked up box

    ReplyDelete
  116. Professor Nono, thanks for the walkthrough. And I think your English is good.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thanks Professor, it was a pleasure having you translate for us. Hope you log on more often LOL

    ReplyDelete
  118. Thanx prof...I'm out now. Restarted, and played the whole thing once more...didn't do anything different from the first time, but what the hell...I'm out...%->

    ReplyDelete
  119. after we type the 入国 do we press the 可 button? 'cuz it's not working for me.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Mishna, you need the Japanese character font installed.

    http://www.coscom.co.jp/help3/jpfont/jpfont.html

    ReplyDelete
  121. I did not have to download anything..just copy and paste from the prof.

I did however have to make sure i had the key and had found where to put the handle before it would open for me.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Thanks for the comments I somehow right click on the Japanese character like twice and got out with a congratulations.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  132. Out! :-)
Many thnx - c/p just worked fine.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I followed the walkthrough and placed the handle. When i stepped back nothing happend, couldn't use the key anywhere and the handle was gone too. Restarted 3x :(
Frustrated for them making games with language barriers. I would never figure those things out my own...

    ReplyDelete
  134. hey.. hubcap's method worked for me :) guess when u don't know the language, a lil cheating is acceptable ;-).. thx hubcap

    ReplyDelete
