Will try to explain puzzle. There is a top pyramid, bottom pyramid, and a square in the middle. Click the Left most dot in the square, then the Right most dot in the square, then the top dot on the top pyramid, then the bottom dot in the bottom pyramid. You should now have 6 dots lit shaped like an N. Make a note of where these dots are. You are now goinging to press the first bottom left dot in the "N" then the top left one...then the the next one etc. When you finish the dots that made the "N" you will have 4 dots. Make note of these dots and do the same thing (press just these dots) and you will have all green dots. Sorry...hard to explain.

ReplyDeleteIf you think on the Jewel as a building, you have one button in the first level, then 3 levels with 4 buttons and one last level with 1 button.
When you press any button, be sure to press every button in the same level.

ReplyDeleteThe key is right hand of ship on the bottom, use key on the left side of ship. Use hammer on ship in the unzoomed view to find another coin in the ship.

go right, click rt bottom of ship stand, find key
click bottom left and use key...get another Queen
you have hammer, use it on glass case, search ship near bow, another Queen
go right, click left bottom grey square, use swiss army knife to open, get broken fuse.
now we will need something to connect power...
clock has a Queen but we need a clue...
Go right,read books, find a Queen in one using the knife,collect cable, solve box puzzle....all the hints are in the language book.
Get another Queen.
Go left, solve clock puzzle from book...set time, click middle of hands, get another Queen.
use knife on cable, restore power, open compartment, collect last Queen.
Go to chess board, play Queens game...or...
Check Wikipedia link...do it...Your'e out!!
Here is a specific walkthrough to help those who are really stuck

This time you need to find 8 queen coins (well, 7 since they give you one)
Note the chess board, but you can’t play it yet
Click the screen next to the door
You need to turn all the lights green
There is a trick to this (thanks, Fausto Fonseca!) -- click each dot on a “level”
So click the bottom dot
Click the 4 dots that make up the square above it, then the 4 on the square above that, then the 4 above them, and then the top dot
Hit open and get the 2 queen
Turn right
Click the floor to the right of the ship display stand
Get the key
Back up
Click the white stand on the left edge where there is a gray line along the edge
Use the key on the locked plate
Back up
Click the ship and see it is locked under the glass
Hit the glass with the hammer (not zoomed in)
Put the hammer away by clicking the image in your inventory bar
Click the ship to zoom in
Scroll left
See the gold circle where the left deck begins? That’s a queen
Turn right
Click the red button on the wall panel (darn! No power)
Back up
Zoom in on the smaller wall box below the large left panel
Use the pocket knife to remove the screws (don’t worry about opening the knife, it works automatically)
Put the knife away and remove the cover
Take out the broken fuse
Back up and note the clock
Turn right
Get the cord from the right bottom shelf
Use the knife on the cord to remove the insulation
Turn left and zoom in on the fuse box again
Place the stripped cord where the fuse was
Back up and push the red button
Get the queen
Turn left again
Zoom in on the left side of the bottom shelf
See a code box
Back up
Zoom in on the book on the left side of the upper shelf
Read the passage from Alice in Wonderland

But how can you play with a chessboard with just queens?
By playing the eight queens puzzle (you want to place the queens so none are in line horizontally, vertically, or diagonally)

don't pay any attention to which colors are turned as you go, just make sure to hit each and every button once.
If you hit one twice, hit it a 3rd time to balance it back out, and hit reset if you need to start over. After every button is pressed once, it will all be green.
