ReplyDeleteo.O its the last day of 2009 and now a brain quiz? hard to play
ReplyDeleteWow, it's difficult!
ReplyDeleteBut finally did it!
i love a good logic problem
ReplyDeleteHmmm - this is easy. Try 10 linked partial differential equations and see what you come up with. Can anyone explain the precession of Mercury?
ReplyDeletesolved it, it was a nice logically challenging game!
ReplyDeleteplace all the houses 1st, clues 8 9 and 14 are the good ones to start with.
clues 10 and 15 were the hard part for me, they say the blends smoker lives next to the one who drinks water and also to the one who keeps cats, but doesnt say on which side for either. a hint for you guys if you need it, is that both of the above are on the SAME side of the blends smoker :P (which translates to the water drinker is the one who keeps cats) this extra hint should be enough to help anyone stuck i hope!
well that wasn't that hard at all...it took me about 3 or 4 minutes
ReplyDeleteI got 25/25 on the first try. Those people of the past must have looked at the question and placed evverything snyhow
ReplyDeleteIn and out :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder how those statistics would be nowadays... much better than in the 1800's aparently.
without any constant checking (clicking finish to see how many i had wrong), i got 15/25 right. it was hard and confusing.
ReplyDeletethat wasn't too hard...
ReplyDelete25/25 on first try
would love to see more of these games
we need another einstein to make another puzzle!! that was really fun!
ReplyDeleteheeelp pleaseeee..got only 16/25 :((( I am confused
ReplyDeleteGood fun!
ReplyDelete@delight...follow the clues and tips from posters. For me the rest was a process of elimination...
done...cheers debra.:))) .it was one of those lack of concentration days for me :(
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR
Just to help others who has one of my days
ReplyDelete1. yellow house-norwegian-water-dunhill-cats
2. blue house-danish-tea-blends-horses
3. red house-british-milk-pall mall-birds
4. green house-german-coffee-prince-fish
5.white house-swedish-beerblue master-dogs
Once I stopped reading " the green house is LEFT of the white house" as "the green house is RIGHT of the white house," things got much easier! Tricky stuff--that whole right/left concept ;-)
ReplyDeleteLogic puzzles are fun and good exercise for the brain. :)
ReplyDeleteFor those of you that thought it was too easy, a quick web search will find some much harder ones...
got it without help :-D
ReplyDeleteif you know logicals it helps to make one of the riddle.
and read closely! next to means directly next to.
i solved it my first try when i was 11....
ReplyDeleteThanks Delight!I got 25/25 with your help!
ReplyDeleteYELLOW=1st House
BLUE=2nd House
RED=3rd House
GREEN=4th House
YELLOW=5th House
It wasn't that bad i solved it within 5min and got 25/25 first try. Just careful reading and you have to kinda infer what they are trying to say. If this is not timed i'm sure everyone could solve it
ReplyDeleteeasy out if you are patient, but I used to have to do these in college.

ReplyDeleteActually. None of you got this right, and this is precisely why it is only 98% of the population who gets this wrong. Einstein wants you to think outside of the box. You are not told specifically that any one of them has a pet fish; you are just asked to find who has a fish for the pet. You are left with the German, of which it is actually undefined of what his pet really is. It could be a cow for all we know. All of you insulting Mr. Einstein's intelligence, you have been pwned.
