anyone else playing? got the shovel but cant find spot to dig or move?
ReplyDeletedug up mound found a coin and anchor put it on rope but can not figure out how to throw across

ReplyDeleteUsed shovel on dirt pile. Picked up coin from between small dirt piles. Got another coin from flower in gap view. Got anchor from clicking tree in gap view. Tied anchor to rope. Attached rope/anchor to opposite tree and climbed across gap. Got coin from under near tree. Got nails from under far tree. Got hammer from side of house in right view. Fixed ladder and got coin from grateful green blob. Got binoculars from top view of boat building. Haven't found 5th coin for boat ride yet..

ReplyDelete5th coin on dock on 'stepping into boat' view. Give coins to green boat robot. Use binoculars to click right and boat away. Get to house. Click window to see "cloud, flower, tree, and silver coin". Can input code into back of mailbox.. Upon typing, I'm assuming the code is the number of those objects in the game, which would be "4155".. which is wrong. Hm..

ReplyDelete@ sleepypup, you have to click on the tree on the otherside, then it will attach itself. Also, you have to find 5 coins, so go back and look now, I've only found 4 so i'm stuck

- 4 clouds
- 2 flowers (on the same plant)
- 5 trees
- 5 coins
I don't understand why 4255 doesn't fit.

ReplyDeleteMaybe 2 of the coins were silver coins ?? I didn't notice that before and afterwards it wasn't possible to look at them again.
I played it again and found it!!
ReplyDeleteAt a certain point in the game, it says :
the thief took the silver coin.
the green round thingy (from the roof) gives another hint.
Look around and you will find a silver coin, with the number 2 on it.
TOE is now ROE

Get the shovel
Use it to dig out the large pile of dirt to your right (click the shovel in your inventory and then the dirt)
Click between the large rock and the one in front of it -- get the coin
Go right
Click the top of the left tree to see the other side of it
Get the grappling hook from the branches
Click the yellow flowers behind you
Get the second coin
Use the grappling hook on the end of the rope
Click the right tree
Click the rope to cross
Click the base of the tree in front of you -- get the third coin
Click the base of the tree behind you -- get the nails
Go right
Click to the left of the house
Get the hammer
Use the nails on the broken ladder to fix it (hammer is automatically used)
Get the fourth coin from the green guy
Go right
Click right of the boathouse to find the binoculars
See you need 5 coins to buy the boat
Click the pier to think about this
As you sit on the end of the pier, look at the right pier post and see the last coin!
Give the green robot the coins
You now own a boat so you can go right
Click the mailbox
Click the padlock and see it needs a 4 digit code
Click the house window
Click the paper on the table, but you can’t read it from outside
Use the binoculars to read it
Cloud, flower, tree, and silver coin
Hmmm…what coin?
Go left (note the boat allows you to time travel back to sunset :P)
Click the green robot
He will tell you the thief has the silver coin
Go left
Click the green monster
He will tell you the thief put something under the tree
But he doesn’t tell you which tree
Go all the way left
Click the bottom of the tree
Use the shovel in the tree’s shadow to find the silver coin
Note the number on it
Go all the way to the right and zoom on the mailbox’s padlock
Enter the code and get the blue key
Use the key on the door
Be patient, the door takes a moment to open
Solution
From the leftmost screen, move your way all the way to the right -- counting the clouds, trees, and flowers as you go.
With the leftmost scene as scene 1, the count is:
Cloud/ 1/ 2/ 1
Tree/ 1/ 3/ 1
Flower/ 0/ 1/ 0/ (actually the flowering plant and not the flowers on the plant)
Cloud 4, flower 1, tree 5, and coin 2
Like several others I first thought the code was 4255. (and there really was two flowers in one plant :)

Thanks @Truus for the silver coin! I got the code right but thats just because I assumed that some of the coins we found were silver and the answer would be something less than 5. I was too lazy to restart so i brute force it. Great to know how I was supposed to get it.

Maybe because we all said we liked the robot, the gamemaker thought it deserved it's own game?? I did like this game very much, but I also have to admit, I do miss our regular TOE game.
