    ReplyDelete
  11. sorry couldnt see my post

    ReplyDelete
  12. oh my mistake the book has many clues on the different pages, but i can't work it out yet....

    ReplyDelete
  13. oh i i had a typo 213, not 216 sorry...

    ReplyDelete
  14. @michele, I just used that book. You need to change the letters. First it shows that zloob=willy. Then other letters. Move them in the alphabet. z=w ->move them three steps.
You get "the answer" and then on the last page:

    ReplyDelete
  28. So, no crystal hunt this time. Maybe I'll give it a try..

    ReplyDelete
  29. so i gave the sword to the guy on the left and he said that his brother was "off by 20" anyone guess what that means???

    ReplyDelete
  30. yes white rose worked, but i separated the words.. white rose. and where did you find the lighter orian?

    ReplyDelete
  31. for the diamonds, i could only find 4 out of the six colors but i just played around with the two colors that i didnthave and got the code. hint-- no color repeats

    ReplyDelete
  32. Whew, this might take some time. I'm gonna have to leave, sorry. I think this game needs time and thought.

    Goodnight all

    ReplyDelete
  33. @michele, the "off by 20" gives the 3 digit code to the room to the left of the pool table. Listen to what the other brother says.

    ReplyDelete
  34. wait i think i know the guy on the right says his brother lost his sowrd 150 times, and the gy on the left said that he is off by 20 so the number must be 130...... where to use it, maybe on that wooden door.....

    ReplyDelete
  35. Lighter is in the brown box you have to solve to open.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The right brother says "he must have lost it a 152 times". And the left says "he is off by 20".

    ReplyDelete
  38. After i opened the door to the left of the pool table I can go outside. Found another place for a password, an note with SOLVE IT and a chesspiece. Looks like we need 6 pieces.

    ReplyDelete

    Need a black key.

    ReplyDelete
  44. all I've found is the bishop

    ReplyDelete
  45. * round plate* sorry for my typos!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. @michele - the code for the box is in the library. click the symbols on the box in that order

    ReplyDelete
  47. @annaby....you need to go outside to get the other two.
@michele-with-pug...the hint to the box is the marking on top of the bookcase when you are looking at book 213.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Lorian - I've clicked all over outside.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I know you could move one plate to get the #2 diamond but for a coin too?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @michele - round plate in first room? I'm not finding the coin either.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think they were in the front of the wheels on the ground...not real sure but I know they were outside on the ground in one of the scenes. I will go look.

    ReplyDelete
  52. @Lorian - nvm - I didn't realize there was another screen

    ReplyDelete
  69. @annaby, try to switch places with the pieces. I think it was bishop, queen, king. At least the bishop is to the left.

    ReplyDelete
  70. @Lorian, how many coins did you find and where?
I only have two - from chessboard and room with globe behind plate.

    ReplyDelete
  74. have you done anything wth the vase once it's filled with water????

    ReplyDelete
  75. @michelle, I haven't solved the password. Tried stuff like VROYH LW and PLISB FQ lol, moving letters, but I guess it should be more like a normal word lol.

I didn't use my water, and I need two more coins.

    ReplyDelete
  76. lol I couldn't find the coin behind the plate because I already had it >.<

I am stuck with ruby, lighter, vase of water, and 2 coins in the box.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I found dust in the fireplace of the room where you moved the painting. Not sure what it means, though.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I fixed the problem, a refresh will stop it from happening again but it won't bring back lost pieces, sorry. It was because you could click where a piece was already set and you shouldn't have been able to.

    ReplyDelete
  84. @Selfdefiant thanks for the quick fix. I love the game so far :D

    ReplyDelete
  85. OK, I'm back...still stuck with you guys!

    ReplyDelete
  89. now I only need one coin and one gem hmmm.....

  90. And finally i got to use my lighter :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. @Ellie the dust falls when you click the center face on the fireplace surround

    ReplyDelete
  92. ok kitkatfox, I need the clue pls! My brain hurts.....

    ReplyDelete
  93. @kitkatfox, where is the place to use the gems? I have a red and a green one bu don't know where to put them.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks @kitkatfox, got the dust now. No use of it though lol.

    ReplyDelete
  95. @Lorian Brady mix up SOLVE IT and you get

    SPOILERVIOLETS/SPOILER

I can't remember if capitals matter or not

    ReplyDelete
  96. @lorian,
use the letters solveit and move them around. One word. A kind of flowers. Starts with v.

    ReplyDelete
  97. can someone help me find the small table in the dining room? i dont have the bishop.

    ReplyDelete
  98. lol, kitkatfox gave a better clue than I.
    I didnt use uppercase.

    ReplyDelete
  99. @Ellie did you use the black key? If so, go right from the first room. the gems go around the door.

since we can remove them, I think we need a certain order.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thanks you guys! I hate anagrams! I'm no good at them!

    ReplyDelete
  101. @morleyangel, move forward from the pool table. The small table is in the left corner of the room.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Thanks again @kitkatfox, i found the black key and used it, but forgot to move right :S

    ReplyDelete
  103. bishop is in the room with the flowers up from the pool hall

    ReplyDelete
  104. thanks Ellie, spent 20 mins in the wrong dining room!

    ReplyDelete
  105. @Lorian Brady I like this anagram solver
    http://wordsmith.org/anagram/

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  106. I guess that if we find that last coin we might get the gem from the box. Searching, clicking...

    ReplyDelete
  107. well my momentary spark of intelligence seems to have snuffed out.

I'm stuck with just the 2 gems. 3 coins in the box.

    ReplyDelete
  108. @Ellie you found the room for me. I didn't know I had a map for the longest time until I read a comment where you mentioned it.

    ReplyDelete
  109. @Lorian Brady Great job!!!!!!

Where is the last coin or gem (whichever I need first)?

    ReplyDelete
  110. @irish -- I think you keep lighting candles for the black key.

    ReplyDelete
  111. where is black key please?

    ReplyDelete
  112. @vivimim I will have to replay to find out. I think it was from lighting all the candles, but I can't remember for sure

    ReplyDelete
  113. Darn! I ignored this because I thought it was another crystal hunt!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Congratulations @Lorian!!
I still need the coin and the last gem.

WARNING: Don't put two gems on the same spot in the last door. Made one of my gems disappear and I had to restart.

    ReplyDelete
  115. @kitkatfox thanks, i tried that, maybe did something wrong...

    ReplyDelete
  116. Yes, You fet the black key from lighting all the candles (until the lighter disappears). I think it was 5 in the first room, 2 in the room to the left and one or two in the room to the right.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I double checked. You light 5 in the dining room with apples, 1 in the room with the stained glass picture of Willy, and 2 black candles in the other room. Then the black key appears

    ReplyDelete
  118. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Xenon and small-tool found the code in ASHA...but they didn't post it and I don't understand the clues...

    ReplyDelete
  120. @Ellie I am replaying because I lost a gem, too.

It is the same glitch as the chess board

    ReplyDelete
  121. the lighter doesn't disappear until after a candle that is behind the black key door. That is the one that gives you the 3rd coin.

    ReplyDelete
  122. @debra I saw SneakSnake solved it on another site, too, and I didn't understand it there either. I don't know that math term.

    ReplyDelete
  123. got it, guys, thanks a lot!

    ReplyDelete
  124. gah! I have to leave really soon. Someone please tell me where the last coin or gem is. :'(

    ReplyDelete
  125. you're welcome @vivimim :)

    ReplyDelete
  126. @debra, xenon posted a long number. Just remove the 0s and 9s from that number.

    ReplyDelete
  127. george, where is the coin? you said you found it!

    ReplyDelete
  128. hmm...his comments aren't posting.

George found the last coin to the left of the room where you get the black key. Move a rock on the floor.

Thanks for letting me know in cbox George!

    ReplyDelete
  129. Thanks @george and @kitkatfox for posting his help!!

    ReplyDelete
  130. and finally out with the gold!

Thanks George, you found the one thing I was missing. That darn last coin.

That will teach me to not look at my map XD

    ReplyDelete
  131. I totally missed that view before lol.

    ReplyDelete
  132. @kitkat...thank you :) I had all four coins and was on my way back to get the last gem and my computer froze and closed down IE, so had to play SSSG again...now I just have to figure out correct order for gems!

    ReplyDelete
  133. and out with the gold...lol!!! now i can't wait for the next SSSG game :) Thank you Sneaky!

    ReplyDelete
  134. I had to use trial and error to get the gem order. I never saw a clue.

Then again, I got the lighter by trial and error. I saw the clue later. My screen was scrolled down to far so I missed the top of the bookcase. Oops!

    ReplyDelete
  135. Just starting, looks like a good game!

    ReplyDelete
  136. Where are we? All these diamonds above the doors...an old loom... books on how to become a king...Quite fishy, isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  137. I had to go away for a while. Came back and got the gold as well!!

The gems order is green on top, red to the left and blue to the right.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Will fix the last gems too! ty Ellie

    ReplyDelete
  139. Am lighting the candles now... Haven't had much trouble, since the comments seemed to cover almost everything.

    ReplyDelete
  140. dinner done, came back and OUT!!!!! great game!

    ReplyDelete
  141. oh btw, i like how the clues were. challenging, but not impossible ( and logical- a big plus!!!). I like how letters in the hint "solve it" was even colored in purple to help us out. very nice game, hope to see more. :)

  144. solution for the codebox under the lady's picture
it says ZLOOB is WILLY. If you compare Z to W – it is 3 letters to the left. Same for I to L.

    So the alphabet cypher is
    ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
    XYZABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVW

    WKH=THE DQVHU=ANSER

    ZKLWH=WHITE URVH=ROSE

    SPOILERwhite roseSPOILER
SOLVE IT – unscramble it and it says violets

Solution for the arrow code box
    SPOILERup,left,down,right,upSPOILER

Solution for the 3 digit door code
The right knight says the sword was lost 152 times, but the left knight says it was 20 off. So it is either 132 or 172. SPOILER172SPOILER

    Solution for the chess board
The order from the paper is rook, knight, bishop, queen, king, bishop, knight, rook. So
place the 3 chess pieces on the near end of the board. The bishop on the brown square third from the left. Blank, blank, bishop, queen, king, blank, blank

    Solution for the door gems
I had to use trial and error. From left to right red, green (top), blue

    ReplyDelete
  145. OUT!Thanks kitkatfox!Something still bothers me from that game....why is it that the order of the 3 gems to open the door is ruby, emerald and sapphire?I don't get it!And who is this "Asha" I saw everyone talking about?

    ReplyDelete
  146. Oh now I know who's Asha!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  147. I placed the gems on the door and picked them up while still holding another gem -> all but one gem lost. Not really in the mood to replay right now... The bugs are a great shame, usually SSSG games are such good quality.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Help! I lost my King on chessboard, he's falling down and away! :-( Now I have only Queen and Bishop and really stuck!!!

    ReplyDelete
  149. Hmm..maybe the order for the gems comes from the Billiard Table? The red ball is left and the blue ball is right....with the green lamps above?

    ReplyDelete
  150. That must be it! Thanks @george!

Thank you for the great walkthrough @kitkatfox!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Excellent game! I was put off SSSG some time ago for some reason but this was brilliant.
