  6. heh, a bit hard to tell, but u need to make as much black rectangles as written in that row or collumn.
    E.G if written 3 u need to make 3black rectangles without gap.
    If written 1 1 1 u need to make 3 black rectangles but with intervals after each. (like X0X0X)

    ReplyDelete
  21. yeah that book thing is confusing

    ReplyDelete
  22. my only idea is 1+2=3 2+3=5 3+5=8 8+5=13 13+8=21

    ReplyDelete
  23. Used 21, 36 144, 72, and 180 every way I could think of.
    Think I'll be slapping my forehead when some one figures it out, though.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sum of angles of a triangle = 180.
    Upper is 36 so the others are 72 each. Maybe a clue ?

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is the point of a 5pointed star (5*36=180)

    ReplyDelete
  26. My 'magnifier doesn't magnify, LOL
    Also there's 5 walls in 2nd room.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Room#2 Think Golden ratio.

    ReplyDelete
  28. BTW, This is a "Chinese" game.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Knotaklu
    Room#3 only integers:)

    ReplyDelete
  42. thanks so far...for the help :))

    ReplyDelete
  43. Room#3
    L=2+1+8+3+4+43+5
    R=2+...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Not understanding the alphabet clue at all now.

    Did some one really piss off Yelcin this morning?

    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  45. I see this was Subbed by Shuchun, that would explain alot.LOL

    ReplyDelete
  46. L: 2+ 1+8+3+4+43+5 =66
    R: 2+3+5+1+8+1+3+4+1+5=33

    L-R=?
    L+R=?

    ReplyDelete
  47. It's a sort of hazy blue in room 3.

    4 is not as easy as it looked at first view

    ReplyDelete
  48. 4 is easy, just count circles, they are not all on same wall. At least thats what i do

    ReplyDelete
  49. Would be if the right sign appeared on the inputbox Egle....

    ReplyDelete
  50. Got 33 and 66 from the letters but they don't work

    ReplyDelete
  51. @christina how many u counted?
    @Knotaklu L - R =?
    L + R =?

    ReplyDelete
  52. @Knotaklu look at Egle's post at 12:02

    ReplyDelete
  53. BTW, can someone tell me whats written in room 5?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I counted 14 Egle, restarted cause my box got stuck. Now it works.

    ReplyDelete
  55. what about the star? i don´t get it, even with the book hint. i think it starts with purple or ends with purple, but what about red -> green, blue -> orange? there is no orange in the star :-\

    ReplyDelete
  56. Can any one translate # 5?

    ReplyDelete
  57. would be really nice...
    i think, but i dont understand, just think. that perhaps that black erm thing, near blue circle marks the beginng

    ReplyDelete
  58. @Egle
    水=water
    相克=Overcoming
    see
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wu_Xing#Overcoming

    ReplyDelete
  59. ah, I don't know it's useful.
    I cannot solve #5 yet.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Stll cant get out of room 4. Are there 14 circles?

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Siobhan, yes, that number is correct. but you can not go directly through that door.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Oh i got it, didnt realise i had to go back to the start.........

    ReplyDelete
  63. Siobhan, go back to 'Start'

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks guys just realised that.

    ReplyDelete
  65. and what's written in the book under red --->green
    blue ---> orange hint?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think it translates as water overcomes fire.

    ReplyDelete
  67. i am confused, i think i wont gonna solve this

    ReplyDelete
  68. I cant figure this one. I think im out!

    ReplyDelete
  69. my idea was red -> green = fire overcomes wood.
    but than blue -> orange has to be water overcomes fire... and then fire is red and orange. and we dont have orange... and we have purple..

    And water->fire->metal->wood->earth->water
    than blue->red->metal colour??->earth coulor(could it be yellow)->blue.

    So metal is purple..lets say

    but my theory dont work.. anyone has better ideas?
    and i dont know why, but i am starting from water all time, maybe thats wrong

    ReplyDelete
  70. i´m questioning myself what these 30s want to tell me. but i can´t figure it out. i like your theory but it wont fit in any case

    ReplyDelete
  71. start with purple.
    orange = rainbow
    rotate stars 3 times to right.
    (move red to green, blue to orange, ...)

    Purple=>Green=>Red=>Blue=>Rainbow=>Yellow

    ReplyDelete
  72. oh thanks, because i was about to emo quit this, lol

    ReplyDelete
  73. omg, thx. i would have never get that
    and out. thank you all for your great help.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I've run out of color variations, tried going back to see it anything changed in the other rooms, still nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thanks @Xenon, must have missed that combination. Now if I can just find my aspirins!!LOL

    ReplyDelete
  76. oops
    *rotate colors 3 times to right.
    *(move red to green, blue to red, ...)

    ReplyDelete
  77. oops, my method is a little strange.
    I hope someone figure out the logic:D

    but room#1 picross is invalid, room#4 only 13circles on the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I knew about the circles, just kept trying different dates and 14 worked, still can't figure out how the books clue works with the star.
    Maybe Shuchun or Yelcin will stop by and explain to everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I ask the author of this game,he said door handle is a hint:π=3.14,so we check the date of 14th,March...

    ReplyDelete
  80. I did the picross in the first room, but nothing happens when I click on OK.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Well, I saw the solution for the picross written by Stu : it works, but it shouldn't, since the last row is wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  82. As for Room#5
    From the chart of Overcoming
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wu_Xing#Overcoming
    the order of the elements is
    water=>fire=>metal=>wood=>earth

    _____metal
    earth_______water
    ___fire___wood

    there is a character in every room
    Room#1 火 = fire (the solution of the picross)
    Room#2 (star(= 星) means metal(= 金)??)
    Room#3 土 = earth (+-)
    Room#4 木 = wood (door knob)
    Room#5 水 = water
    and also there is a color in every room
    Room#1 purple => yellow?? (maybe magenta = red + blue => green + orange = yellow??)
    Room#2 green
    Room#3 #3399ff => RGB light blue
    Room#4 red (the color of sunday)
    Room#5 rainbow

    so the colors are
    metal=Green
    earth=light blue
    water=Rainbow
    fire=Purple=>Yellow
    wood=Red

    As for Room#2
    Fibonacci n-th number is {((1+sqrt5)/2)^n - ((1-sqrt5)/2)^n}/sqrt5
    triangle; the length of the shortside : the length of the longside is (-1+sqrt5)/2:1 = 1:(1+sqrt5)/2

    Golden ratio
    (-1+sqrt5)/2:1 = 1:(1+sqrt5)/2
    0.618:1 = 1:1.618

    so you have to try 0.618 and 1.618

    BTW, I should have noticed 3.14:( thx @HandSonic
