Ah, more my sort of game then Rotuc
ReplyDeleteGood morning world
ReplyDeleteThat didn't take me long to get stuck.LOL
ReplyDeletesolved 1st room easily, now in second having some problems, where to use magnifier?
ReplyDeletestuck with you :)
ReplyDeleteEgle ? i don't understand the first room :)
ReplyDeleteCan't figure out what's the code for door 2. Tried 2172 and 21144 (21 is next by the numbers and 72 or 144 for the triangle)
ReplyDeleteFound a kind of magnifier
heh, a bit hard to tell, but u need to make as much black rectangles as written in that row or collumn.
ReplyDeleteE.G if written 3 u need to make 3black rectangles without gap.
If written 1 1 1 u need to make 3 black rectangles but with intervals after each. (like X0X0X)
@stu i tried 123 (180-36-21) but dont work either
ReplyDeletethat's what i tought but can't make it :(
ReplyDeleteI used to play a lot with the puzzle on no1...but stuck now :(( help please
ReplyDeletein the bottom row the one black rectangle that u cant move, doesnt count, so u need to make 1 more, maybe that helps
ReplyDeletedone...but the fixed triangle made me confused
ReplyDeletethe first room puzzle wont fit for me. there is always one black i can not fill in
ReplyDeleteMy math doesn't work in room # 2
ReplyDeletethx egle, that was it
ReplyDelete@Drisana: looks so:
ReplyDeleteOOXOO
XOXOX
OOXOO
OXOXO
XOOOX
yes Egle, figured that out quite late :)))
ReplyDeleteshould be ;
00x00
x0x0x
00x00
0x0x0
x000x
Ho the first one doesn't count that's why i was stuck ! thx guys ;)
ReplyDeletei wonder what that Start thing mean
ReplyDeleteto be honest first puzzle sux, because it counts in column, but dont count in row... :D
ReplyDeletei thought it should mean to look at the start so i looked at the paper with the maginfier but nothing :(
ReplyDeleteany ideas about room two?
ReplyDeleteyeah that book thing is confusing
ReplyDeletemy only idea is 1+2=3 2+3=5 3+5=8 8+5=13 13+8=21
ReplyDeleteUsed 21, 36 144, 72, and 180 every way I could think of.
ReplyDeleteThink I'll be slapping my forehead when some one figures it out, though.
Sum of angles of a triangle = 180.
ReplyDeleteUpper is 36 so the others are 72 each. Maybe a clue ?
This is the point of a 5pointed star (5*36=180)
ReplyDeleteMy 'magnifier doesn't magnify, LOL
ReplyDeleteAlso there's 5 walls in 2nd room.
Room#2 Think Golden ratio.
ReplyDeleteBTW, This is a "Chinese" game.
ReplyDeletewas that a hint? i dont get it
ReplyDeletestill can´t get it. too stupid
ReplyDeletethanks Xenon..that worked
ReplyDeleteWow, u talking about 1.61 thing? i still dont get it
ReplyDeleteyes Egle but its not 1.61...its 0.618
ReplyDeleteCan anyone give me spoiler? i dont get it...
ReplyDeleteuse magnifier on room 3 , but why???
ReplyDelete@Xenon, 4:45 AM is a little early for me to be thinking of irrational numbers.LOL
ReplyDeleteI thought about Þ but didn't help
ReplyDeletedidnt realy get that, but ok, 3rd room
ReplyDeleteand the 3rd room looks imposible hard
ReplyDeleteroom 3 is a color I think. written down it needs the alpabet you see with the magnifier. it must be a long word considering the 76...
ReplyDelete@Knotaklu
ReplyDeleteRoom#3 only integers:)
thanks so far...for the help :))
ReplyDeleteRoom#3
ReplyDeleteL=2+1+8+3+4+43+5
R=2+...
oh that wasnt so hard
ReplyDeleteNot understanding the alphabet clue at all now.
ReplyDeleteDid some one really piss off Yelcin this morning?
LOL
I see this was Subbed by Shuchun, that would explain alot.LOL
ReplyDeleteL: 2+ 1+8+3+4+43+5 =66
ReplyDeleteR: 2+3+5+1+8+1+3+4+1+5=33
L-R=?
L+R=?
It's a sort of hazy blue in room 3.
ReplyDelete4 is not as easy as it looked at first view
in room 5 now
ReplyDelete4 is easy, just count circles, they are not all on same wall. At least thats what i do
ReplyDeleteWould be if the right sign appeared on the inputbox Egle....
ReplyDeleteGot 33 and 66 from the letters but they don't work
ReplyDelete@christina how many u counted?
ReplyDelete@Knotaklu L - R =?
L + R =?
@Knotaklu look at Egle's post at 12:02
ReplyDeleteBTW, can someone tell me whats written in room 5?
ReplyDeleteI counted 14 Egle, restarted cause my box got stuck. Now it works.
ReplyDelete33 and 99 is the answer
ReplyDeletewhat about the star? i don´t get it, even with the book hint. i think it starts with purple or ends with purple, but what about red -> green, blue -> orange? there is no orange in the star :-\
ReplyDeleteCute little pics
ReplyDeleteCan any one translate # 5?
ReplyDeletewould be really nice...
ReplyDeletei think, but i dont understand, just think. that perhaps that black erm thing, near blue circle marks the beginng
@Egle
ReplyDelete水=water
相克=Overcoming
see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wu_Xing#Overcoming
ah, I don't know it's useful.
ReplyDeleteI cannot solve #5 yet.
Stll cant get out of room 4. Are there 14 circles?
ReplyDelete@siobhan yes 14
ReplyDelete@Siobhan, yes, that number is correct. but you can not go directly through that door.
ReplyDeleteOh i got it, didnt realise i had to go back to the start.........
ReplyDeleteSiobhan, go back to 'Start'
ReplyDeleteThanks guys just realised that.
ReplyDeleteand what's written in the book under red --->green
ReplyDeleteblue ---> orange hint?
I think it translates as water overcomes fire.
ReplyDeletei am confused, i think i wont gonna solve this
ReplyDeleteI cant figure this one. I think im out!
ReplyDeletemy idea was red -> green = fire overcomes wood.
ReplyDeletebut than blue -> orange has to be water overcomes fire... and then fire is red and orange. and we dont have orange... and we have purple..
And water->fire->metal->wood->earth->water
than blue->red->metal colour??->earth coulor(could it be yellow)->blue.
So metal is purple..lets say
but my theory dont work.. anyone has better ideas?
and i dont know why, but i am starting from water all time, maybe thats wrong
i´m questioning myself what these 30s want to tell me. but i can´t figure it out. i like your theory but it wont fit in any case
ReplyDeletestart with purple.
ReplyDeleteorange = rainbow
rotate stars 3 times to right.
(move red to green, blue to orange, ...)
Purple=>Green=>Red=>Blue=>Rainbow=>Yellow
oh thanks, because i was about to emo quit this, lol
ReplyDeleteomg, thx. i would have never get that
ReplyDeleteand out. thank you all for your great help.
I've run out of color variations, tried going back to see it anything changed in the other rooms, still nothing.
ReplyDeleteThanks @Xenon, must have missed that combination. Now if I can just find my aspirins!!LOL
ReplyDeleteoops
ReplyDelete*rotate colors 3 times to right.
*(move red to green, blue to red, ...)
oops, my method is a little strange.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone figure out the logic:D
but room#1 picross is invalid, room#4 only 13circles on the wall.
I knew about the circles, just kept trying different dates and 14 worked, still can't figure out how the books clue works with the star.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Shuchun or Yelcin will stop by and explain to everyone.
I ask the author of this game,he said door handle is a hint:π=3.14,so we check the date of 14th,March...
ReplyDeleteI did the picross in the first room, but nothing happens when I click on OK.
ReplyDeleteWell, I saw the solution for the picross written by Stu : it works, but it shouldn't, since the last row is wrong.
ReplyDeleteAs for Room#5
ReplyDeleteFrom the chart of Overcoming
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wu_Xing#Overcoming
the order of the elements is
water=>fire=>metal=>wood=>earth
_____metal
earth_______water
___fire___wood
there is a character in every room
Room#1 火 = fire (the solution of the picross)
Room#2 (star(= 星) means metal(= 金)??)
Room#3 土 = earth (+-)
Room#4 木 = wood (door knob)
Room#5 水 = water
and also there is a color in every room
Room#1 purple => yellow?? (maybe magenta = red + blue => green + orange = yellow??)
Room#2 green
Room#3 #3399ff => RGB light blue
Room#4 red (the color of sunday)
Room#5 rainbow
so the colors are
metal=Green
earth=light blue
water=Rainbow
fire=Purple=>Yellow
wood=Red
As for Room#2
Fibonacci n-th number is {((1+sqrt5)/2)^n - ((1-sqrt5)/2)^n}/sqrt5
triangle; the length of the shortside : the length of the longside is (-1+sqrt5)/2:1 = 1:(1+sqrt5)/2
Golden ratio
(-1+sqrt5)/2:1 = 1:(1+sqrt5)/2
0.618:1 = 1:1.618
so you have to try 0.618 and 1.618
BTW, I should have noticed 3.14:( thx @HandSonic
IS there anyone ??
