  3. Anyone? Can't figure out code for crate.

  4. Nice, Honey, I'm almost there.

  5. Crate:

The code is in the notebook. You read the knots backwords

    XXXXXXX----XX = 27
    XXXXX-----XXX = 35
(for some reason, it opened when I got to the 35 so I never used the last number)

And open it like any other combination lock.

    Start at 0,

Turn left to right 3 times until you get to 0 on the 3rd try then keep turning to 27.

Turn right to left and pass 35 once, then stop at 35 and pull the lock down.

    It should open :)

  6. Out! Great game but, a bit glitchy with the boxes. Did one right and wouldn't open, viewed it again and it was open. Same with combo lock. Liked the visuals though.

  7. Thanks, Honey. I new I had it right zoomed out and back in and it was open.

  8. Help! I am having trouble with the bird box - I can swing the wing all the way around, and wiggle the leg a bit and the tail just a tad, and that's it. What do I do?

    ReplyDelete
  9. so what is the combination for the lock

    ReplyDelete
  10. Swing the wing back around and lift the top part of the beak up.

  11. what to do after opening bird box?

    ReplyDelete
  12. @vivimim: Did you get the last box? It's of a snake/dragon (can't tell which).

    ReplyDelete
  13. For the snake box, push back the horn to roatate first circle. push back the front teeth to rotate the 2nd circle. when circles are in postion, push back the bottom teeth

  14. Hmm... don't like the end too much. Sure hope there is just a preview of more to come.

  15. Started this game and was able to open the padlock without knowing exactly how (maybe the same way posters here did). I could find and open two boxes, so...
Question for the former live players: where was that 3rd box?
Hm... or better, did anyone of you thought of writing a wt?
    Thanks in advance.

  16. I don't like to struggle with something glitchy like this. Snake box refuses to open despite Luin's precise instruction (thanks, Luin!). Disappointing...

  17. The snake box is near the dig site -- that place with the 4 squares marked with string on the ground. Just left of the squares is a darker area. Use the metal detector (looked a lot like a key to me) and hover your mouse over and you see a radar-like thing. The closer you are the faster the radar goes off. Then use your spade. The game will not prominently show you you got the box, it'll just appear in inventory.

  18. not able to open the crate... any help... tried the option given by Honey, 0, 27, then 35... lock doesnt open :(

  19. The snake: you SLIDE the horn to adjust the left circle and you slide the top teeth to adjust the right circle, then you slide the bottom teeth and slide everything else back in place (the horn and top teeth) and then it opens.

Wish I could do the trunk. It's the last key I need to enter cave safely. Already died once.

  20. For the crate the combo is in the notebook like Honey posted earlier. Read the knots backwards.
27 35 15. It automatically starts you at zero so forget that bit. It is a little glitchy though. I had it right and it didn't open then I zoomed out and zoomed back in and it was open.

The snake box was the same way. Had it right about a dozen times when finally I put it away then viewed it again and it was open.

The bird box you have to lift the wing, pull down the front part of the foot, then the leg, tail, and beak.

You already have the "serpent" key so you only need the two. Then go to cave entrance and use serpent key to open and get locked in but, you win b/c you have 3 keys to get out.

Wish I could be more helpful on the boxes but, it sounds like everybody's doing them right. The game is just a little buggy.

  21. Where is the bird box? And I still can't get the combination lock to open.

  22. Walkthrough:

NOTE: just a heads up that the boxes and the combination lock are a bit
    glitchy so try try again.

You are standing in water. Grab the box floating in the water. It is a puzzle box. To open it first drag the white rectangles by the eyes
down, then drag the eyes out. Then you can drag the sides of the mouth out and away from the teeth. Pull down bottom teeth and it's open.

Get SERPENT KEY and NOTE from the box. Read the note. She's trapped in the mountain and wants you to go to base camp to find more keys. Click on the box in inventory to zoom out.

Click the arrow at the bottom of the screen then click on the arrow on the bottom left of the screen to get to the trail. You have 3 options
here. The arrow on the bottom right takes you back towards the water, the arrow on the bottom in the middle takes you to base camp, and
the arrow on the left takes you further down the trail to the dig site and the mountain. Click the middle arrow to go to base camp.

Click to zoom in the first hut and get METAL DETECTOR and SPADE. Click the rightmost arrow in that view to go to the next hut. Click the door to find a NOTEBOOK and a locked chest. Open the notebook and read on the right page about Incan number systems. Read the knots backwards. You should get 27 35 15. Click the book in
inventory to put it away and zoom in on the lock.

The lock works in standard combination lock fashion. 2 full rotations clockwise and stop on 27. 1 full rotation couterclockwise and stop on
    35. Clockwise 'til you hit 15 and stop. Click on the middle of the lock to open the chest. (This is a little glitchy. First time I played I had to zoom out and back in, click on the middle and it opened.)

Get BIRD BOX. To open the bird box first drag the wing up then drag toe to the right and the leg down. Drag the white part of the tail
up and the top of the beak and voila! Get LION KEY. Click the arrow on the bottom right to zoom out then on the bottom left twice to get back to the trail.

Click the leftmost arrow to go further down the trail then the topmost arrow to keep going. Now you can go right to the dig site or left to the
mountain. Go right. Click the rightmost arrow to go all the way into the dig site.

Select your metal detector and scroll around until you hit something. (you'll know when you do) use your spade here. (first time around I
didn't even need my spade but, second time I did) Now the SNAKE BOX should just be in your inventory.

(Now this one is super glitchy IMO)
To open the snake box first drag the horn back to unlock the first circle. Rotate circle to match up. Then push back top set of teeth to unlock the second circle and match that one up. Then push back bottom teeth, drag jaw down and hope it works. Get EAGLE KEY. (Or hawk...idk)
Click arrow to go back and again on the leftmost arrow to get back to the trail.

Click the arrow on the left and then the topmost arrow to go to the mountain opening. Click on the opening to zoom in. Select the serpent key (the first key) and click on the hole in the center of the door. Click to go in and the door shuts behind you.

    And out!

  23. I finally could escape this one... did they somehow fixed the bugs? Now the padlock way pretty easy to open for me, differently as the first time I played it.
Thanks @Max for the location of the Snake Box! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well @Max, make that thanks for the way to find it :P
and of course, thanks @mgkanda for writing the WT!

    ReplyDelete
  25. This could have been a good game were it not full of glitches. I followed mgkanda's excellent advice on how to open the padlocked box and it worked but when I got to the dig site, I could not unearth the serpent box :( So frustrating!
