  137. Yay! A Zoz walkthrough!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  138. It so often happens I get stuck trying to find one thing, in this case the stuck drawer to find the blue key.

Could you people please be more descriptive when you've found something!?!? Yay for you that you can find this stuff but please share some kind of usable information! I didn't think the comments were for only for self-glorification.

So, once again, I cannot finish one these games because I cannot find one thing. Sheesh!!!!

Also note, the spelling of knife! It drives me crazy. The plural of knife is knives, if that's the problem.

    ReplyDelete
  139. in the Room Through above, for room 12: after placing the five marbles in the box, you get the Gold key, not a green key. Sorry about that.

@SoAl, get Blue Key after opening jammed drawer in room 23 with SD found in room 6. Sorry I neglected to say that in the Room Through.

    ReplyDelete
  140. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Hmm how do I open the bolted cupboard?

    ReplyDelete
  142. POP!! Found the spanner/wrench!

    ReplyDelete
  143. Another great game SD! Thanks for the hard work you put in to keep us happy.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Screw this ****! I totally missed the two rooms above the kitchen, thus never finding the jammed drawer, I did now, thanks to Zoz, but have lost interest now! It's a warm day, I'm going for a walk. This game has made me cranky.

    ReplyDelete
  145. @SoAl, there is a built in map. I also made sure that the recent games have a directional arrow for ways you can move. Imagine the ones that didn't have that. Those were tricky!

    ReplyDelete
  146. @Selfdefiant, you can please some of us (ok, most of us) all of the time, and all of us some of the time, but, well, you know the rest.
I thought this was yet another great game!

    ReplyDelete
  147. i can't even get past any of the doors :( only have 10 coins and 1 marble. any hints where the keys are?

    ReplyDelete
  148. yay!!! out with 50 coins and without help, first time! (but it took an eternity...)
thanks again Selfdefiant your games are awesome!
now to try and catch a live one.

    ReplyDelete
  149. @Jennifer you'll find first key in adidas bag, go on from there, next key in newly opened room etc

    ReplyDelete
  150. @Jennifer, I hate to state the obvious, but you have 164 comments ahead of yours, many of which refer specifically to where to find keys (including the Room Through). Maybe I misunderstood what you mean by "any hints where the keys are?"

    ReplyDelete
  151. Come on zoz, that ship has sailed, let it go.

Or even better; make a funny sing-a-long with a verse about people who are too lazy to read comments and want answers right away, a verse about people complaining about bad comments, a verse about people still asking when there's already a walkthrough and a verse about people complaining about poor English. Catchy chorues about all the negative/silly comments. And to finish it off an end chorus about how the regulars keep going on with giving hints and walkthroughs.

    ReplyDelete
  152. can someone please tell me where the last marble is??? I can't remember where I found the other ones, but I'm still missing one! :-p

    ReplyDelete
  153. lol @Miller, I think it's in your nostril where I hid it!
@small-tool, I just asked an honest question, because I clearly could not have understood the post correctly :D

    ReplyDelete
  154. Jay-jay,
    Thank you for your help.
    Zoz,
What I meant was that I couldn't find the first key so I wasn't able to go forward. I did in fact read the previous comments, if there was one about where to find the first key I obviously missed it. I didn't mean to offend you by asking the question. I asked because I simply needed help. Regardless your comment seemed a bit rude. Apparently you have to be a member of the regulars club to ask "dumb" questions. I will keep to myself and seek help elsewhere in the future. :(

    ReplyDelete
  155. Oh no, oh no, oh no. Something went terribly wrong.
Should never have posted my previous comment. It was ignited by lots of comments in the past and by some kind of urge to be trying to be funny.
My comment should have been about general things/complaints/comments (but I failed) and was never meant to be personally cruel/mean.
So please accept my apologies Jennifer. It wasn't about you. It was about a lot of comments asking about obvious things already mentioned in comments/walkthroughs in a lot of earlier games.
Please keep posting and asking here on EG24, we are nice, kind and helpful, although it doesn't seem so at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  156. small-tool,
I wasn't offended by your comment and mine wasn't meant to be directed to you. I apologize if it appeared that way. I was just a bit offended that I was stuck so I asked for help and it felt to me that the previous comment was implying that I am either and idiot or simply too lazy to read other posts.
And thank you for making me feel free to post questions. I appreciate that :)

    ReplyDelete
  157. I am posting stupid questions here all the time. But this community is that wonderful that it doesn´t matter. In fact a stupid question does not exist. Sometimes i just have tomatoes on my eyes. And all the comments are very helpful, delivering the "aha" effect. Thx again to my friends and n8 n8 until the next SD game :)

    ReplyDelete
  158. @Miller, my last marble was : look at my comment at 9:51....

    ReplyDelete
  159. @Selfdefiant, Thanks again for a great game! It always makes my day when a SD game appears just as with the other great games like Minoto, Rotuc, Icho, Tower of Eternity, Tesshi and Sakura, etc.
    Thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Lol Jennifer, now we're apoligizing all over the place (if that's English).
But, let it be clear that a lot of things went wrong and were misunderstood. And let it even be more clear that zoz never ever posts mean comments, she's funny and kind. Probably (but I shouldn't put words in her mouth) something that has to do with earlier game-comments too.
Anyway, I'm babbling now without making any sense (that's what happenig on friday- and saturday nights).
Any, anyway; keep on posting/asking here because this is a great (the best?) site for escape games where you can get answers and have a lot of fun too.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Thank you small-tool. No hard feelings to anyone, let the past be the past :)

    ReplyDelete
  162. @Everybody: I did not intend to be rude or offensive, and I apologize if my comments came across that way. I truly enjoy my interactions with the EG24 family, and I don't want anything to change that!

In the immortal words of Rodney King: Can't we all just get along?

oh, but P.S. I was being sarcastic with @Miller, but in a friendly, poking fun way. I have to remember that the written word without vocal intonation can be easily misconstrued. Mea culpa!

    ReplyDelete
  163. Ok I've read the previous posts and can't find any hint Apologies if there was a post refering to this; Where, in the game, is the hint for the 4 digit code for the red gem in room 16??? Please

    ReplyDelete
  164. finishing the game the next morning and reading all he comments... wow it did get heated a bit at the end

I am agreeing with Zazie - there is no dumb question
and we regulars are normally very patient to answer the same question time and again - that I dont mind - we all have our "blind days"

but what annoys me more than anything is if
people play all on their own to give a

    I AM OUT FIRST

of course if one doesn't help others during the game it makes for faster playing but this is NOT
    THE POINT of this site
we are here to HELP each other and have FUN TOGETHER

    so there !!!

  165. SELFDEFIANT

    another 5-Star-game - Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  166. this was the first of the 3 game that i have not got all the coins. i was missing only one this tiem. i like these games keep them up.

    ReplyDelete
  167. @ Selfdefiant:
Thank you yet again for yet another fantastic game.
This was the icing on the Sneaky Cake! I just hope it's middle-layer icing, and not the end of this series.
I've learned to check EVERYTHING by scrolling over, and got out with all coins, but it still took me an hour. I just love the self-satisfaction of the "aha" moments, as someone earlier put it. Makes me feel I've actually achieved something!
    Bless you for that =)

    @ SoAl:
Please have some patience with spellings in these posts, most people here are not using their first language, and, to be honest, I'm grateful that they take the trouble and use english, as I'm bilingual illiterate, i.e., I can't read in two languages =) However, I'm not sure which nationality uses a different left and right from england's though, ;)

    @ zoz and small-tool:
I'm sure Jennifer will soon become a friend, and one of the "regulars" - and play more Sneaky Games, to become more aware of the tricks up the Sneaky Sleeves.
I love your comments and often read all the posts after finishing a game, just to have an extra chuckle =) Thank you both =)

    @ anyone:
Really, am I hallucinating? The Sneaky Icon HAS changed and gone all-grown-up, hasn't it?
Budge up, zoz, I think I'll join you in that bar ;)

    ReplyDelete
  168. Well, well...I just got here and played through to the end using all the useful excellent comments.

Some people are just so happy that they found something they just blurt it out. Others find things and say where, and those are helpful, but I never feel offended by anything anyone says - ESPECIALLY ZOZ!! She is always kind and sweet (and hilarious and clever!).

I agree with everything @small-tool, Zazie, SwissMiss and Rookwings have to say and definately with the "there is no dumb question" comment, as I have often asked questions that had already been answered, but I forgot to refresh, etc.

@selfdefiant: Your games are really very interesting, logical and fun. I will NEVER tire of them - and you are wonderful for keeping up all this fun for us. I really appreciate all your efforts to give us such joy!

  169. I did it this far without any help, but the 3 digit code from the wine bottle (627) isnt working for me. has anyone else had this problem? that's all I need to escape. ugh, frustrating :(

  170. I think the 3-digid code is 385, but red=8, yellow=3 and blue=5 - go by the order of the flag in the silver bathroom....

  171. you get the hint for the numbers (count the sides of the shapes red has 8 sides, blue, 5 and yellow) I think it's in the room you open with the black key.

  172. Yorkie - the winebottle clue is on the 1234..box

  175. @Balmycharmy, you probably found it already, but Oscar posted the 4 digit code above in 8:54. I'd have never found it on my own.

  176. Personally, I can't stand selfdefiant's games. They're too formulaic for starters (and that goes for the Grey Scale series too) - always the same find the key, get something to open a jammed drawer (but never a blessed screwdriver which would do the job perfectly), put the whatever it is (gems, jewels, etc.) in the right slots, etc.

Frankly, I think selfdefiant ran out of ideas a couple of years ago, but keeps peddling the same old crap.

  177. I think that if everyone felt the same way then I wouldn't be making the games the way I do. I have tried many, many different things and I have to stick with what works. I have tried to do crazy new things and people didn't like it at all. I see all of the numbers and trust me, people like my newer games much more than the older ones and I can't change things for such few people that don't like it. Sorry you think the games are stale and I keep peddling the same old crap. I thin I will make a crystal hunter game dedicated to you!

  178. The same can be said for a lot of the best regular games here: Sakura, Rotuc, Minoto, Cogito Ergo Sum, etc. Some are cranked out almost daily without any effort to deal with bugs, etc, but these are challenging, fun, and always dependable. If there's a glitch, Self-Defiant fixes it as soon as it comes to his attention. When's the last time you saw that with a Gazzy game? If you hear a guitar solo from Santana or Hendrix, you know instantly who it is. Doesn't mean it isn't good.

And I love the crystal hunter games! The pictures are always wonderful. I've been jonesing for one of those.

  179. Attempting a Logical Walkthrough for a Complex Game

First, open @Miller’s Map by Clicking Here since I’ll be referring to each room according to the numbers he assigned.
In your own game, you can open a Map and add notes and/or color hints to it, if you wish.

    Part One

First Scene: Room 22. Pick up 2 gold coins.
Go Left: Room 21. Pick up 2 gold coins and Black Marble 1.
Go Left: Room 20. Pick up 2 gold coins, then click on black Gym Bag on the right. Click on the left zipper and take the White Key.
Go Right twice, then Down once: Room 14. Pick up 3 gold coins.
Go Down, using the White Key : Room 9. Pick up 2 gold coins and Sneaky Coin from top left of chandelier. Knock over Vase on right cabinet and pick up Black Marble 2.
Go Left: Room 8. Pick up 2 gold coins and a can of Lighter Fluid.
Go Left: Room 7. Pick up 2 gold coins. Click on left cabinet and note that you will need a wrench for the bolt there.
Go Right, then Down: Room 5. Pick up 2 gold coins and Knife from far right table. Click on Speaker, upper left corner near ceiling, for Orange Gemstone.
Go Up, then Right twice: Room 10. Pick up 3 gold coins. Click on drawer on far left and take Black Marble 3.

Go Down, then Right: Room 16. Pick up 2 gold coins. Click on lower picture on far wall and slide it left to see that you will need a Four Digit Code.
Go Left, then Down twice: Room 6. Pick up 2 gold coins. Click on drawer just beyond table and take Screwdriver.
Go Up three times: Room 23. Use Screwdriver to open the jammed drawer and take the Blue Key.
Go Down twice, Left, then Up and Left again: Room 13 (Use Blue Key). Pick up 3 gold coins (one of these is quite tricky – it’s above the right wall lamp). Move pillow on left sofa and take Black Marble 4. Click books on table in foreground and note the Color Wheel.
Go Left: Room 12. Pick up 2 gold coins and take Lighter from the bar. Take the Lighter Fluid in your inventory and put it on the Lighter in inventory to fill it. Click on box in right alcove and see that you will need a total of 5 Black Marbles.

Go Up four times: Room 24. Pick up one gold coin and use Goggles to take Black Marble 5 from pool.
Return to Room 12. Place Black Marbles on box and take the Gold Key.
Return to Room 3, then go Right: Room 4 (Use Gold Key). Pick up 2 gold coins and take the Lightbulb from the bedside table. Use the Knife to cut down the Silver Key. Slide the picture over the bed to see where the Gemstones will eventually be placed.
Go Left, then Down: Room 1. Pick up 3 gold coins. Use Lighter to light four sets of candles (one set is partially hidden on the left side of the large cabinet), then take Yellow Gemstone.
Return to Room 20 and use Silver Key: Room 19. Pick up 2 gold coins and take Wrench from sink. Make a note of the Flag Colors.
Return to Room 7. Use Wrench on bolt on left cabinet. Take the Green Gemstone. Note the color and number of sides for each of the Shapes (Yellow – 3, Red – 8, Blue – 5).
Return to Room 19, then go Left: Room 18. Pick up 2 gold coins then click on brown square above towel rack. Enter the code by using the order of colors from the Flag and the number of sides for each color from the Shapes and take the Black Key.

Go Left: Room 17. Pick up one gold coin. Look at the Wine Bottle and make a note of the number that is written on it using Roman Numerals (627). Use the Corkscrew to open the bottle and take the Blue Gemstone.
Return to Room 23. Place the Lightbulb in the right wall lamp and note the code.
Return to Room 16. Enter the Four Digit Code into the safe behind the lower picture and take the Red Gemstone. (The code is derived from the inverse of the two equations seen above the lamps in Room 23, for example 125 divided by 5).
    SPOILER SP2OI5LE1RS9POILER
Return to Room 3 and use the Black Key: Room 2. Pick up 2 gold coins then click on the Wooden Box on the chest at the foot of the bed. Click on the numbers, in order, that you got from the Roman Numerals on the Wine Bottle in Room 17, then click the white square and take the Purple Gemstone.
    SPOILERSP6OI2LE7RSPOILER
Return to Room 4. Move the picture above the bed and place the Gemstones on the safe in the order from the Color Wheel in Room 13. Looking at the Color Wheel, begin with the color beside the Dark Grey wedge, moving in a clockwise direction.

Open the safe and take the last of the Rare Stones and you’re OUT!!! As @Sneaky says, “Now it is time to relax!”

  181. @SelfDefiant, referring back to my earlier comment, apparently you can't please Siobhan Long's sister any of the time!
(and don't anybody yell at me for that comment or tell me it's rude because you all know it's the truth!)
