Only the green gem box was already open....

    ReplyDelete
  63. Did anyone else notice that there was 1 drawer you could open, but it was empty? That was an odd red herring for SD.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks Zazie, out too now.
Only 49 coins, but with the sneaky coin.
The chessboard clue was probably for the box that was already open. Lucky bug this time.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Golden key from lighting candles. Forget which room

    ReplyDelete
  76. Valérie,
for the gold key, use the lighter on the candles in room AA. If no key appears. Go out the room and in again.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Everything has been fixed and updated. Including the colored dial box. I have no idea why the drawer would be empty, should be a blue key inside.

    ReplyDelete
  78. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I found the blue key there.

    ReplyDelete
  80. For the chess code, go by the color of the piece, and it's place on the board. Purple was B8, Blue was D7, and Green was F4. Ignore the alpha characters, and use the numbers as a clock. Set the dials on the numbers, and presto. I didn't know it would open without the code!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Oops didn't want to post potential spoiler!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Ah I see Stryboh, just the numbers from the rows on the chessboard. Thanks.

    Selfdefiant,
Thanks for the great game again.
Did you fix the gold key too?

    ReplyDelete
  83. @s-t, yep! Thanks for spotting it!

    ReplyDelete
  84. I am stuck, I need keys but I dont know where to find the hint for the 5 color door code or the 9 box code.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Oh, sorry about the drawer comment. I just played again to see what I was talking about. It was the codebox. After you get the key it looks like a drawer. I went back looking for things and thought it was something different.

    ReplyDelete
  86. You're welcome Selfdefiant, but it wasn't really spotting, it just happened to me and Prufrock saved me (by telling to go out and in again).
Btw thanks for that Prufrock (forgot to do it before).

    ReplyDelete
  87. Danielle,
The 5 colors hint is in room AC.

  119. I can't find any keys after the initial black key. I know the blue key is supposed to be in room Q, but all I see is a book about chess. I only have 4 black marbles too, and I am stuck. Please help with the blue key. Maybe I can progress after that. Thank you so much!!!

    ReplyDelete
  120. I cannot find the blue key. I know it is in room Q, but where? I also do not understand the book on chess. Thank you! Have been stuck for hours!

    ReplyDelete
  126. @Ellie, I wasn't out in 18 minutes or even close to that (even with the Sneaky coin)! I probably spent as much time looking for the last gold coin as I did playing the rest of the game, and still only found 49 in the end.

@Ellie and @Edgar - it's so good to hear from you both! And I'm glad you like my little Easter bunny raccoon ;oD

    ReplyDelete

  140. Thank you for the help small-tool, and the walkthrough ellie - I almost got through this one by myself but had to come and peek for a couple of hints. I don't know how you ace escapers get through these so quickly - and have time to post such masterly guides as well! I am all admiration :o)
And of course big thanks to self-defiant for consistent great games and attention to our enjoyment!

  146. Om my god! These SD-games never seem to amamze me! There is no doubt SD`s games are in a class of its own, totally demolishing all others in the escape genre. I am truly impressed by you SD. And thanks so much for bringing us these, its like christmas everytime there is a new SD! They are truly the very best of the best! 11/10!

Great job everyone, it looks like I need to start being a little more sneaky!!!

Awesome game as always SD! But no need to be more sneaky than this. This was perfect for all of us that arent always up to beat with too much thinking parts.
