  1. First impressions count ;)

    ReplyDelete
  2. Not sure what to do with lvl 2 though

    ReplyDelete
  3. If you're talking about step 2 then you're kidding, right Jon?
That's just basic conversion from numbers into letters.

Anyway, played some levels and I think it's not my riddle. It's about signing in on some other forum again.

    ReplyDelete
  4. lol....only just looked at it....didn't apply much thought....

    ReplyDelete
  5. Anyway, for other players;
So far it seems you don't have to look up things in the source, you don't have to change the URL to go to the next level (just fill in the answer in the box and then click the moving symbol right next to it). And for extra hints you can click the most right symbol (the one that looks like a lighter from Selfdefiant games).

  6. great small-tool....you are a god-send :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  63. is it step 6 with the colours

    ReplyDelete
  66. @lulu i zoom pic, but i still cant find that word. where can i look on the pic.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'm not sure I understand, so blue and yellow make green, green's complement is magenta, but that doesn't work. Am I approaching this in the wrong way? Sorry if I'm being thicker than two short planks.

@john no it is not the complemantary colour. another one that starts with p..

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think we just have to work out whether the value is positive or negative, then add up the result at the end. I think I've done the first two blocks right, if I take 3 and 4 does someone want to do blocks 5-8?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  129. @Cindy Step 3. Click for a clue, 1-1, 2-2 etc. Then pick a finger and hi-light it, you will need 5 letters, the hand will guide you to the answer :)

    ReplyDelete
  130. How does the hand guide you? It highlights every single letter, and there's a lot more than five letters there.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Never mind--I got it. Still don't understand where foursevensix came into play but I got it :)

    ReplyDelete
  132. first letter of the first word, second letter of the second word ... and so on

@bigtank: in italian version the name of the bone was also the name of an element, after you found that name you could find the name of an ancient god but i don't thinkit's the same in english i'd need the link

    ReplyDelete
  139. @Gale star:
    "Step 4--clouds and bubbles""

Just answer the question on title...

    ReplyDelete
  140. What question on title? You mean the thing about the ape?

    ReplyDelete
  141. That's the thing--I don't know the answer. The quote doesn't exist.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Let me look levels up..

    ReplyDelete
  143. On Level 12 - I was never really able understand it myself. so I was able to brute force it with the above comments.

Google Shooting Star - and you will find your answer there

    ReplyDelete
  144. @Gale star
Read post 5/1/11 3:33 PM from small tool
""And for extra hints you can click the most right symbol (the one that looks like a lighter from Selfdefiant games)."" bottom right symbol

At first, you can google the quote...

    ReplyDelete
  145. thank you Enjoy!!!..

Got it, I had tried that name from hints, but wrong spell...

    On to 13

    ReplyDelete
  146. I did try to google the quote--there's a quote about the first ape--no quotes about the second ape. Or any second ape. sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  147. @ Gale Starr.. just answer the question on the title. you have two choices..

    ReplyDelete
  148. There is no question. I see no question mark or questions. I've entered ape, man, bird, cloud, thus, treason and just every word I can think of.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Stuck at level 15 "a singing bone"

Well, google tells me it is a fairy tale by the brothers G***. but that isn't getting me anywhere so far!

    ReplyDelete
  150. Gale ..

when you take a test it can be multiple choice or T*** and F****

pick one of the above choices T or F!

    ReplyDelete
  151. @ Gale

at the top of the window it should say level 6. the T or F

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  155. Thank you, Enjoy :) Now on Step 7 :)

    ReplyDelete

  157. 15..

could the singing bone be the hyoid bone? aka lingual bone..

    nothing working so far

    ReplyDelete
  158. Though Step 7 may have to be my stopping point. I have no photoshop and using Windows Viewer or Paint or Google Docs doesn't seem to do the trick.

    ReplyDelete
  159. i tried to have the english working as italian because the mechanism was
radio(bone)->radio(element)->dio ra(egyptian god) also knownn as dio sole and that was the solution but this word-game doesn'twork in your version i'm still trying to understand

    ReplyDelete
  160. On 13
I found the painting but can't find a date just the one he was admitted into Saint Paul-de-Mausole, but using that one which was a May date doesn't work to many things found on this painting June seems popular but no date ...I want off this level PLEASE

    ReplyDelete
  161. @gale using graphic software you find BOAT but it's not enough to solve the level...to find the second part you have to search what you already see in the level

    ReplyDelete
  162. @clee i found the date here http://www.cuneoannunci.it/notizie_Notte-Stellata-Vincent-Van-Gogh_172

    ReplyDelete
  173. 15.The singing bone (step11)
searching for a list of human bones you will find one that will remind you of a veeeery famous singer's nickname... the answer is not the bone but the singer's name

    ReplyDelete
  174. Thanks segnodelcoma, that did it. on 16 now.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Yes Serap,
    And I finally converted it.
Not by listening (way too hard).
I downloaded it and then opened it with audacity, then you can just see it.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Lol, I decode it the hard way, by listening, so it took much time. Now to google.

    ReplyDelete
  182. It is quote by M*** T****.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Congrats on that Faltu, great.
By the way for others doing it that way beware that there are some parts that are ' or , or . don't let it fool you.

    Btw way Faltu,
If you Google the whole sentence from the extra information page you find a wiki page about the author of the coded quote.
    Coincidence?

    ReplyDelete
  184. Btw way ? ?
    Lol, that's a tautology.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Yes Small-tool I got the same, but none of his name is working as answer.

    ReplyDelete

  187. A clue in nord from Shaharc

there seem to be a mistake in the level
two of the letters we got are not needed
the answer is only 5 letters long, no anagram needed

Small-tool, I solved it the hard way, so may be I could not find the mistake, have you got it in audacity? And if there is a mistake which 5 letters to consider?

  188. Just went to Nordinho. Usually I don't do that, we solve it here, right? But don't get me wrong I don't care if other people do.
Anyway, I think they're talking about something else (No mistake in the code, didn't find one, just a normal grammatically correct sentence).
I think they somehow combined the two sentences and found 7 letters (a word? a name?, but it seems for the answer you only need 5.
