    ReplyDelete
  21. We need the shovel in one of the sandy scenes with a big beach umbrella nearer the beginning - the whole bottom half of the scene is the sandy hot spot.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thanks drinkmilk and Small-tool....left ..right??

aaaahhhh....im lost...and despite going around, I still cant find the SD. If its near the white canvas umbrella, the cursor turns to a hand but I cant do anything.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thank you dear s-t., went down and left as per instructions (actually went the other left first which equals right)..but still no SD. Down and left puts me in the scene with the little sand bank and the beach villas in the b/ground. I've looked in water...I must be blind...I canNOT see a screwdriver.

    ReplyDelete
  42. That's the right scene indeed Clio.
The screwdriver has to be there, on the bottom right of the screen.

    ReplyDelete
  43. was anyone able to use the showel? i tried to use it on the sand near the parasol, but no luck for me

    ReplyDelete
  44. Where on bed exactly Graham??

    ReplyDelete
  45. Need some kind of plug in to play the game but it doesn't load one automatically

    ReplyDelete
  46. Well,
I give up, for now, don't like this game. No map and don't feel like drawning a map. And I just want to zoom in without using those magnifying buttons and I don't want to move the screen about.

    Have fun and good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I guess we have to postiion the beads perfectly so there are no spaces left - very tough!

    ReplyDelete
  48. got a torch from puzzle

Clio you have to click somewhere in the scene and the SD will appear in the wooden rail bottom right

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh, well...I did leave afterall....the nav is too messed up for me, I'll wait till it is repaired!

    ReplyDelete
  50. LOL...I see I am not alone...@small-tool!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh, and for the key on the bed. It's next to the bottom right red rose.

    ReplyDelete
  52. small-toll giving up?! why? nooooo...

    ReplyDelete
  56. How did you solve the puzzle bronte???

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks again s-t...but for defs, there is NO screwdriver there. I zoomed to 200% just to make sure. I have 5 pearls, 1 key, but am going to give this one away for now. Not quite sure about this game. Perhaps we left/right challenged ppl REALLY need a map to navigate..lol

    ReplyDelete
  58. compass and sand bowl where you can place the pearls to the right of bead puzzle room. Cant figure it out yet.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I thought that the key on bed would be for the
    locked drawer-but no...

    ReplyDelete
  60. Sorry Drinkmilk,
But I really don't like this game.
But thanks anyway for the shovel, had found it alright after I found out you can only use the magnifying glass in some scenes.
But again, not my kind of game.
    Bye.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @anja pearls go in the second house (the one that's somwhere up on the right), right click in the house. there's some pink box (or sth like that. u can't miss it)
where did u find the diamond?

    ReplyDelete
  62. just give me a second and I will try to describe how to Graeme

use the shovel to the left of umbrella just above flat grey rock

    ReplyDelete
  63. Where did you find the diamond, Anja(Stu)? And has enyone used the shovel yet?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thank you @bronte.cakes...but apparently...no go for me.

Youhoooo Sir Self-Defiant, why no screwdriver for me? Oh, and also..in that scene, my cursor goes bezerko as if someone is moving it without my knowledge.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thank you drinkmilk!
But for me there is no pink box!!!
I will play again cause don't know where I found the diamond

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  68. stuck with diamond and puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thanx Anja(Stu)! That's where the diamond is!

    ReplyDelete
  70. @graham diamond goes on the sun (two clicks from the house u can zoom in). After u out the diamond on the sun, u'll get the rainbow. but i still can't figure out the order for the pearls.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Anja, did you find the place to put the pearls? If not: from the umbrella: forward, right, forward (through door) and right. It looks like a pink candle holder.

    ReplyDelete
  72. g = green
    lb = light blue
    p = purple
    pi = pink
    pp= pale pink
    y = yellow
    w = white
    b = blue

    g g lb lb lb p p p p pi pi
    o g g g lb y y y pi pi pp
    y w y pi pp pp
    w w b g g pp
    b b b b g g pp

That is really complicated but I don't know how else to do it

    ReplyDelete
  73. thx drinkmilk - did you figure out the puzzle yet??

    ReplyDelete
  74. oops the formatting didn't work!! Sorry

    ReplyDelete
  75. I've foud the coulors and still don't know the order of the pearls.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Played again in new window and now the box for beads puzzle is there!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. thx bronte but hard to make out what you mean - lol

    ReplyDelete
  78. Did anyone find where to use flashlight?

    ReplyDelete
  79. north is yellow, then follow rainbow , get key , open drawer and out.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Did anyone opened the locked drawer and if so, how?

    ReplyDelete
  85. start at top (north), yellow, green, blue, purple, red, pink

    ReplyDelete
  86. Thx bronte for trying - that was tough for me. Now I don't understand the colors....my pearls don't really match the rainbow colors!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Anyone please, use of torch and locked drawer?

    ReplyDelete
  88. lol thanks Billy, i've mistaken yellow and pink pearl :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. torch used in room , shows yellow N for north, this clue for pearls

    ReplyDelete
  90. and OUT! very strange for Self-Defiant game and never used flashlight.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Billy, in wich room to use torch please?

    ReplyDelete
  92. My pearls dont match the rainbow colours either...any hints please

    ReplyDelete
  93. btw this is a game by Lotz....not Self Defiant

    ReplyDelete
  94. My blue pearl is missing something and I think the missing thing is in the locked drawer. So HELP please (I'm getting desperate here).

    ReplyDelete
  95. Bronte - look at Billy's post above...he gave the order for pearls.

    ReplyDelete
  96. in house with key on bed, the room is on the right , it's the only place torch works.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Nope..no torchlight for me..can't turn it on..can't see anything

    ReplyDelete
  102. Why doesn't somebody tell me how to open the locked drawer?

    ReplyDelete
  103. okay I got it now...I was in the wrong room

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yellow-North then clockwise

  105. I don't have a yellow pearl...I have cream brown pink blue green and purple pearls...which one is supposed to be yellow?

    ReplyDelete
  106. FINALLY...after heaps of changing pearl positions!!
That was more frustrating than the other puzzle!!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Just in case someone is still playing and is frustrated by the pearl colours they are
north = Cream, then clockwise green, blue, purple, pink, brown.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I can't seem to locate the yellow pearl. Nor can I open the locked drawer. Help anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Ah thanx Bronte.cakes . Seems like Im missing the cream pearl?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Picture of puzzle of beads. http://www.rjsoap.com/games/puzzle.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  111. uhh this was kind of weird: a sd wannabe but not quite there yet. didn't like the pictures moving thing and the way object popped out only when you click on the screen. and the end didn't make much sense... but overall it's not all that bad a few tweaks would make this a good game...

    ReplyDelete
  112. Why does this game need a Micro$oft plugin ?!

    ReplyDelete
  113. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I don't think this is a Self Defiant game just some wannabe copy, so those blaming SD for this stupid game probably should realise that.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I'm like clio_rose, I can't find the screwdriver. There is definitely NO screwdriver in this scene. Usually, I love Self-Defiant game, but I must say that I really don't like this one.

    ReplyDelete
  116. POP... I stayed on the same view while writing my previous comment, and the SD suddenly appear. Is the game just buggy ?

    ReplyDelete
  117. I think that you are right, Dummo !

    ReplyDelete
  118. DON'T play this using Chrome! Some views are blank.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Thanks for a nice game Lotz.

SelfDefiant must be proud, (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery). Although, some the differences have frustrated many of us, I for one enjoyed your work! I'd like to see more!

The zoom-able scenes are a nice touch. But please match the colour clues more accurately to the puzzle solutions.

    Thanks again.

    ReplyDelete
  120. guess i should be glad it wont load after reading the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Where is the "orange" pearl? I'm missing the one the goes left of yellow.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Nevermind... I found "yellow" one in front of the house. I had the "orange" one where the "yellow" one belongs.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Got 6 pearls, but 2 are blue and no purple, so the unset pearl must be the "small pearl".

But I can't find that shovel for the life of me! Pretty game, but navigation is confusing. I know from the key on the bed it's probably pretty small.
If someone can find a way of posting a picture that would be helpful.

    ReplyDelete
  124. When I came back, I found the shovel right away. Must be like the folks who didn't have a screwdriver.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Walk Through Bora Bora
Note: I will sometimes use UDLR for up, down, left, right.

    Go left to BRIDGE view
Go left again and pick up RED SCREWDRIVER
    Go right (back to bridge),

From BRIDGE, go up to UMBRELLA view.

    Go up again to beach.
Pick up key from water, and pick up GREEN PEARL shining in nearby bush.
Go up again and pick up BLUE PEARL from lagoon.
Go down 3 times (back to bridge).

From BRIDGE, go down to CROSSROADS.
Pick up BROWN PEARL sitting on railing.

    Go left to FIRST COTTAGE.
    Use key to enter.
Note locked drawer on far wall.
    Go left to bathroom.
    Click on floor drain.
Use SD on 3 screws to remove plate and get SMALL BLUE PEARL
    Go down, right, right.
Pick up PINK PEARL from window seat in back.
    Go left and up.

In the bed scene, your cursor changes to a diagonal with arrows.
This means you can zoom (select the magnifiers) and move the picture
Find and pick up KEY #2.
    Go back to crossroads (DDR)

Go right to find a cottage on stilts.
You've got that funny cursor again.
Find and pick up the SHOVEL

Go back to the umbrella (LUU).
Use the shovel here, near the rock on the left to uncover a DIAMOND. (pixelly)

Go up, right to SECOND COTTAGE.
Pick up CREAM PEARL near bottom of path.
    Use Key #2 to enter.
On table to right is a marbles puzzle. Solve it to get a FLASHLIGHT
(There is more than one solution.)
Go down, right and see pink glass box filled with sand and see you need 6 pearls.

Go back to first cottage. (DLLDDL)
Enter, right. Shine light on wall above couch to see YELLOW "N".

Exit cottage and go right, right to where you got the shovel.
Go up, up to underneath the house.
Hold diamond up to bright light to get rainbow (ROYGBP)

Go back to second cottage (DDLUUUR)
Use all the clues to place the pearls and get a KEY.

Go back to first cottage (LLLDDDL).
Use key on locked drawer if you want to escape.

Note: you can go back and take all the pearls, so maybe you can afford to stay awhile longer!

    ReplyDelete
  126. Solutions:
Key in bedroom: Very tiny, next to right-most red flower.

Shovel: under top of ramp leading up to cottage.
In the unzoomed view, it's about 1/3 from the right and 1/4 from the bottom.

    Marbles Puzzle:
    x=fixed pieces, B=blue, G=green, F="Flesh" (light pink, after my childhood crayon set), P=Pink, W=White, Y=Yellow

    My solution:
    xxxxxxxxxGG
    xxxxxBBBBGG
    xxxxxBPFFFF
    xxxxxPPWYFY
    xxxxPPWWYYY

    Bronte.cakes solution:
    xxxxxxxxxPP
    xxxxxYYWPPF
    xxxxxYWWPFF
    xxxxxYYBGGF
    xxxxBBBBGGF

    PEARLS.
You have to match the colors of the pearls to the rainbow, and with yellow at the top ("north").
Top and clockwise: cream(yellow), green, small blue, large blue ("purple"), pink(red), brown (orange).
