    ReplyDelete
  79. @ zephyr..glove in Z and the use glove in AC? in bathtub? did you do that?

    ReplyDelete
  80. It was an error on my part. I moved it off screen and forgot to put it back. I really feel bad that I didn't catch it. The clue is in the same room as the dials. You need the book to decipher it though. I am really glad you got it though.

    ReplyDelete
  81. @selfdefiant: please don't feel bad! This game was really great. You went to a lot of effort to get these to us and I, for one, really, REALLY appreciate it!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Thanks for explaining Selfdefiant.
And don't feel bad, EG24 will always find out, even without a clue and so we did.
    Again a great game, thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Still stuck on 8 digit code. I have tried several ways of using the book so far. Argh.

Took plat numbers, changed to letters, then those letters to new letters, then back to new numbers?

    ReplyDelete
  84. David,
On the first page of the book is HUMANITY.
Some pages further are what numbers those letters are.
    Anyway then you get;
    83415927

    ReplyDelete
  85. have put all gems in pic, but nothing happens... have I missed something?

    ReplyDelete
  87. btw, thank you to EVERYONE for all your hints! Fantastic game SD!!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. I'm just beginning the game, and I'm already lost ! I found only a crowbar, nothing to collect the orbs, i.e. I can't buy the map !

    ReplyDelete
  89. Pascale,
Use crowbar, left and down (from the start scene) to get a syringe.
Go all the way right and give the syringe to the nurse for a yar to collect orbs.

    ReplyDelete
  90. might find something in H to help you in G...I think? do not recall for sure now.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Pascale, you to the first of the comments and start browsing, you'll soon get all the hints you'll need!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Anita the gems have a certain order, look in the book. Start with the gem for july where it is marked on the picture and go on with august, september and so on (clockwise)

    ReplyDelete
  93. Thank you Small-Tool (POP worked this time again !). Now I can start to collect orbs !

    ReplyDelete
  94. @Zazie, I began with Ruby in July followed by peridot, sapphire, opal, citrine, topaz (upper left), garnet, aquamarine, amethyst, diamond, emerald, and pearl (right of Ruby-bottom right corner).

    ReplyDelete
  95. Anita,
I think you mixed up aquamarine and amethyst.
But not sure anymore, my notes are a mess and already closed the game.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Sorry i don´t remember the exact sequence, but you must have a mistake somewhere, because for me it worked after putting the gems in the month´s sequence.(as you said starting with ruby for july)

    ReplyDelete
  97. That was it S-T!Thanks to you both! ! I thought I had them correct order. Now have wand!And... out!!!

    ReplyDelete
  98. @ Selfdefiant consgui I still do not understand this track ... I think it's because I'm far away in Brazil ... LOL
    brute force i love you

    ReplyDelete
  117. So sorry @Big J, I wish I could help you. This game was just too long to remember the exact things (for me anyway..)and I used the map on the game to write my notes on.
Don't give up, you can do it!! And it's definitely worth the effort, Good Luck!

    ReplyDelete
  118. BIG J,
I'm trying to write a WT.
I could already post the first parts if you want me to?
Or just ask what key you want.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Anyway here's already a key

    ROOM X
    - Use the screwdriver on the tile above the open door in the back and take the BLACK KEY.

    ReplyDelete
  120. @Big J -

@small-tool 5:52 am said "Screwdriver in ROOM AA (in front of wheelchair)."

And @Catqueen 6:07 am : "Got a purple key from rings.
I wrote down the code with the holes in the paper on the right side. Then I rotated ccw so I had 3 codes above and 2 under."

    That should get you started!

    ReplyDelete
  121. small tool....ive only had the purple key....got noting to remove the tiles or open drawers or to slit the teddybear...all ive had is rubber gloves and a crowbar

    ReplyDelete
  122. Hammer is in room AD (in the box in the back).
Screwdriver is in room AA (in front of the wheelchair).

    ReplyDelete
  123. small tool i cant get in those rooms ive no keys..lol

    ReplyDelete
  124. @Big J

    ReplyDelete
  126. BIG J,
with the purple key you can go to get the black key. Go to room S and go left and use the purple key there and then you can go to room X.

    ReplyDelete
  127. small tool progressing now

    ReplyDelete
  128. Remember, You can't do some things without viewing the hint for them first: i.e., you can't get the purple kay from the wheels until you see the hint with the colored "x's" on the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  129. WALKTHROUGH part 1

In this game you have to buy things like a map. To do that you have to collect orbs. But to collect orbs you first have to find a yar, so that's the first task.

    STAIRS
    - GO RIGHT and DOWN

    TOILET
    - Take the CROWBAR (on the floor against the right wall).
    - GO DOWN, LEFT (2x) and DOWN.

    GREENISH ROOM with WINDOW
    - Use the crowbar to open the drawer and take the SYRINGE.
    - GO DOWN and RIGHT (3x).

    NURSE
    - Give the syringe to the nurse and you get the ORBS JAR.
    - Now collect at least 25 orbs to buy a map (all the way left from this place). But you need 25 more orbs too buy a lantern (you really need it to finish the game) And for 75 more orbs you can buy a crystal to go to a room without having to go through all the rooms. Without keys you can easily find 50 orbs in all the rooms. So from now one I write this with having a MAP and a LANTERN. But while playing keep collecting orbs for the crystal (you don't need it but it makes walking around much easier.

ROOM C (where you bought the map and lantern)
    - GO TO...

    ROOM N
    - Click the paper on the backwall and keep on clicking it (it turns around). This is the WHEELS HINT. Later you will see you need a code in room I where there are 3 wheels on top and two wheels on the bottom so turn the paper in that way that there are 3 groups of crosses above and 2 groups below and write down in what colours and what position those crosses are.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM I
    - Zoom in on the box on the left wall and see the WHEELS PUZZLE. Now turn the wheels so that they are according to the hint, so;
TOP LEFT, blue on south and red on south east.
    TOP MIDDLE, red on south.
TOP RIGHT, red on south west and blue on south.
    BOTTOM LEFT, blue on north.
    BOTTOM RIGHT, yellow on north.
    And take the PURPLE KEY.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM Z
    - Take the GLOVE (bottom right next to the pool).
    - GO TO...

    ROOM AA
    - Take the SCREWDRIVER (in front of the wheelchair).
    - GO TO...

    ReplyDelete
  130. WALKTHROUGH part 2

    ROOM AC
    - Use the glove in the right bath tub to get a BRACELET.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM N
    - Zoom in on the second (from the back) sink and use the screwdriver on the drain to get a GARNET GEM.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM S
    - Go left to see and open the Purple Key Door.
    - GO TO

    ROOM X
    - Use the screwdriver on the tile above the open door in the back and take the BLACK KEY.

    - Go up to see and open the Black Key Door.

    ROOM AD

    - See the COLOURED DIRECTIONS HINT around the circle on the backwall.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM AE
    - Use the lantern on both candles in the back and take the PERIDOT GEM.
    - Use the crowbar in the right corner to get the BLUE KEY.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM AA
    - Go right to see and open the Blue Key Door.

    ROOM AB
    - Left next to the bottom of the right door is a panel on the radiator, open it and take JADE STONE #1.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM AG
    - Take the KNIFE (right on the floor).
    - GO TO...

    ROOM O
    - Click on top of the drawers to zoom in on the teddy bear. Use the knife on it and take JADE STONE #2.
    - GO TO...

    - GO TO...

    ROOM AF
    - Look at the bracelet and put the 3 jade stones in and give it to the lady. Take the RUSTY KEY.
    - GO TO...

    ReplyDelete
  131. WALKTHROUGH part 3

    ROOM Y
    - Zoom in on the black panel next to the door. Remember the hint from room AD, so put the dials on;

    blue 2 o'clock
    red 4 o'clock
    yellow 10 o'clock
    purple 12 o'clock

    - GO TO...

    - Take the PLUNGER (on the floor in the back) and pull LEVER #1 on the right wall.
    - GO TO...

    ReplyDelete

    - Zoom in on the plate above the piano and see HALF THE PIANO HINT (1736-1753), for the second half of the hint look in the book to see what number is what letter. Zoom in on the piano and click the keys like this; AGCFAGEC and take the AQUAMARINE GEM.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM AV
    - Click the swicth (left in the back) to see HALF THE COMPASS HINT (NFBFWBNF), for the second half of the hint look in the book (last page) to see those letters are other letters. So it is EWSWNSEW.
    - Now zoom in on the 8 compasses in the back. Notice the arrows, so that's the compass order from 1-8. The first is E so put the E on top, the second is W so put the W on top etc till you've done all 8. When done correctly you can take the BLUE TOPAZ GEM.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM V
    - Zoom in on the picture and see the place to put all 12 gems. Look in the book to see what month is what gem. Also see the place for july on the picture. So put all gems in, in the normall order of the months. So when you start with july and go clockwise put in;
    RUBY
    PERIDOT
    SAPPHIRE
    OPAL
    CITRINE
    TOPAZ
    GARNET
    AMETHYST
    AQUAMARIN
    DIAMOND
    EMERALD
    PEARL
    And take the WAND.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM BS
    - Use the wand on the dark guy and take the SACRED KEY.
    - GO TO...

    ROOM E
    - GO DOWN and use the sacred key on the door and you're out.

  134. Great walkthrough ! But I'm desperately trying to find a switch in room AV, and I don't find it !

    ReplyDelete
  135. ... there is something on the left that must be a light switch, but it is NOT a hotspot !

    ReplyDelete
  136. Gives Small Tool a big HUG. That's an amazing WT!
You should get a medal for this one.
    And one for Selfdefiant offcourse!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  137. Thanks all. Especially for the number code. I have deciphered it wrong, as I have confused two systems (whether to use black letters or red ones as main ones) and ended up a mixture of two:)

    ReplyDelete
  138. Tribble and Pascale,
You're probably playing the old version. Selfdefiant forgot to make it a hotspot, but when you play it later, the switch is working.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Oops, It was only Pascale who was asking about that switch.
Well anyway; thanks Tribble, Pascale and Catqueen.

    ReplyDelete
  140. That's true ! THANK YOU, thank you so much Small-Tool !

    ReplyDelete
  141. It was really an excellent game !

    ReplyDelete
  142. @small-tool well done! No, really that was a prodigious effort. My hat's off to you.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Selfdefiant's games are always the best. I've started making the map-throughs. They can be found here. As always, expect spoilers, and errors...

    ReplyDelete
  144. WOW small-tool, what a great WT ! I never would have the patience to do it. Admirable !

    ReplyDelete
  145. Well done @small-tool! That was a gargantuan task and you pulled it off like the master you are!
And, @ph1n3a5, once again your map is perfect. With your map and @small-tool's WT, no one should have any problems here.
    Thanks to you both!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Terrific game. Hours of being lost inside. Out finally.

    Thanks @Selfdefiant! :D

    ReplyDelete
  147. SD - I've always wondered where you get the pics you use for your games. They're amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  148. SD It took me over an hour with help on the compasses and I LOVED IT!! YOU are so TOTALLY awesome! Thanks so much for yet another amazing game!

    ReplyDelete
  149. Thank you, thank you and thank you again s-t. That was a surpreme w/t. Dont ever underestimate how grateful we pedal-car drivers are for the time, effort and patience it must take you to do the walk-throughs.

    @ph1n3a5. - jaw-dropping !! Congratulations.

@SD Thank you for one of the best games I have ever played. Took a total of 5 1/2 hours of fantastic fun. When I got frustrated I stole more obs Im ashamed to admit, so if your missing 2558 of them....I'll keep them safe til next time.

    ReplyDelete
  150. What I said sounded cheeky Selfdefiant,
it sounded fine in my head,
    revisiting the rooms again, cool...
I know you (in my heart and soul) are devising an incredible
multilayer game that will make our children go hungry.
But in the mean time I/WE thank you stay safe xoo

    ReplyDelete
  151. btw @ph1n3a5 alternate walkthrough is fantastic for 3D mindz

    ReplyDelete
  152. @small-tool.. bowing down in awe.

@ph1n3a5 .. awesome.. please do more!

    ReplyDelete
  153. @ Selfdefiant:
As usual, I got here far too late to be one of your beta-testers, but I didn't miss the teddy being called a cushion =)
Beautiful, lovely, logical puzzles, thank you, and no toilet-diving this time! Blocked drains and grubby old sinks are like child's paddling pools for us in comparison! =D
You still had me on my toes, searching everywhere for clickedy-draggy places, but I still managed to miss orbs. 271 is an odd number to end up with, haha.

This is truly an epic game, and I put it right up with Axend - and these are my two favourites of yours now.
Plus the game image was another gorgeous one ;)

    THANK YOU!!!

    ReplyDelete
  154. I love the blue orb bug...now I have more than 1500 orbs :D

    ReplyDelete
  155. @MissPepy: LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  156. @Selfdefiant: When picking up black key it says its a lighter.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I have been playing for 2 1/2 hour, but no time waste. As usual it was a great game. No bugs for me, switch worked fine, played it a day later. Thanks for all the hints the walkthroug and the map. You are all great players and I always enjoy it to play with you. Pitty that I couldn't play it live. I'm looking forward to the newest game of SD. Now I'm going to do some cleaningwork with the rubber cloves and the plunger, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  158. I had to come back to play with the compass clue in place, yet another hour! Such an excellent game, though I still needed S-T's wt as I missed the "follow the arrows" part of the compasses. Thanks to SD, S-T, and the rest of the hints! :-) Can't wait for the next one!

    ReplyDelete
  159. Fantastic game Self Defiant Thank you so much!!! Its been a marathon! phew.
And thanks small tool for the walkthrough, I couldn't have done it without your help.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I played the game yesterday maybe half an hour after all the giants here played it and was able to get out following their footsteps. I just returned to see if somebody dared to write a wt, and now I am awestruck about this fantastic job small-tool has done!! Unbelievable!

And thanks a lot Selfdefiant for this gourgeous game!! You're a master!!

    ReplyDelete
  161. according the last comment, small-tool has done a WT for THIS game??? WOW!!!! I'll view it soon, but first I have to say: thanks sooooo much for this magnificent game @SelfDefiant... I think, this was the biggest ever... and great puzzles...
ofc... I needed help for the compass puzzle, even though I played the game late and the hint was already placed... but I would have never thought to turn the right directions up, tried forever to combine it with the arrows... LOL...
I loved to celebrate the game with a lot of time, because it wasn't live for me =)
    GREAT !!!

    ReplyDelete
  162. I read the WT... and I'm speachless... absolutely fantastic work @small-tool...
and I've also seen the map-through of ph1n3a5... fantastic work too...
    complimenti !!!

    ReplyDelete
  163. @small-tool: amazing WT! You not only help all of us all the way through the games, but then help at the end, too!

What would we do without you!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  164. Thank you all guys and you're welcome.
But if I hadn't done it, somebody else would.
Let's just say EG24 is great.

    ReplyDelete
  165. ARGH! I clicked on an ad by mistake, went back to game and all my notes are gone!! I thought the notes were saved on SD games now???

    ReplyDelete
  166. These are nice, but way too much formy patience.

    ReplyDelete
  167. 5-part WT - maybe a first?! The first I've ever seen!

    ReplyDelete
  168. Thank you so much, SD, for another great game! It's so past my bedtime it isn't funny, but I never notice the time when I play your games. :)

    ReplyDelete
  169. Need help in the av room can not understand please halp

    ReplyDelete
  170. @a3b76ec4-a7ba-11e0-96d5-000bcdca4d7a: what help do you need?

    ReplyDelete
  171. how are the wheels in AV working

    ReplyDelete
  172. In the AV room you can turn the compasses/wheels.
For the first wheel put the E on top, for the second wheel the W on top for the third wheel the S etc.
But you have to follow the arrows for the order. So the third wheel is not the third on top but the bottom left one.
    Anyway, this is what should be on top of the 8 wheels;
    E-W-S-W-N-S-E-W

    ReplyDelete
  173. a3b76ec4-a7ba-11e0-96d5-000bcdca4d7a: Is it about the 5 wheels with colored dots or the colored wheels under eachother which can be rotated like a clock. (I don't have the game open at this time).

    ReplyDelete
  174. Ahhhh those wheels!
Still helping people in need S-T!
    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  175. ph1n3a5 had made a map through. Look at his post on 7/4/11 3:31 PM
And a complete WT is done by: small-tool 7/4/11 1:28 PM
Those will help the future players I hope :)

    ReplyDelete

    tap tap tap tap

    ReplyDelete
  180. I could do with a jolly good Tomatea-ing !!

(which sounds cruder than it should..lol)

    ReplyDelete
  181. Thanks @selfdefiant for a spectacular game AND @small-tool for that fantastic WT. I was stumped on the wheel and compass puzzles. Had to break out the legal size paper for this map!

    ReplyDelete
  182. Fantastic game yet again! Thanks @SD!

@small-tool VERY impressed with your WT! That must have taken ages.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  184. Wowwww, what a fab game, thanks so much Selfdefiant. Took me quite some time, pfff :).You are the best!

    ReplyDelete
  185. I missed whole puzzles never mind clues in this one! Didn't have the patience to do it in one go. Very challenging.

@SD -- FYI. There was a key that thought it was a lighter in Room X. (It worked fine as a key once I had it in inventory.)

    ReplyDelete
  186. An epic game SELFDEFIANT
