  4. hi nokra and Ellen! Let's GO!!

    Thanks selfdefiant!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Oooh! Trying to catch up!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Up towards the right and right at the first room is the jar

    ReplyDelete
  7. Sacred jar - upper right, then right.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Crowbar in ... upper right up, up and right? Room with beds. I'm crap without a map.

    ReplyDelete
  9. You have to find the crowbar (also the right passage but to the left) then get the red key (left passage) to get to the place where you can buy the map

    ReplyDelete
  10. Remove vent in upper left, up, right room for red key.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Umm Self Defiant, You forgot to label your map :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. I have the crowbar, but don't know where to use it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. If I go down from the room left of the start room I end up in the start room. Freaky, no?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yeah, the map wasn't labeled. I wanted to change things up a bit. :D

    ReplyDelete
  15. For the map, get the red key then go left twice when you get through the red door

    ReplyDelete
  16. I guess we can start with A1, bottom left??

    ReplyDelete
  17. ooooooo and the plot thickens SD! lol thanks for the challenge :D

    ReplyDelete
  18. navigation at red door kind of messed up

    ReplyDelete
  19. Levers: Bottom left, second row from bottom, all the way left.

It's hard to describe where I am....

    ReplyDelete
  20. anagram clue 3 row up 2nd over (from the bottom of the map)

    ReplyDelete
  21. YES!! A LIVE SD!!! Hey everyone!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Got a paper clue in the kitchen (s?) but it doesn't do the coloured levers. Maybe an anagram?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Afternoon people... Joining you :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. We can't manually lable the map ourselves, either. The color chart doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Clue for colour levers in room one level up and right (I think). Anagram for answer.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Colour levers box is anagram of paper found one right, one up from the box...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Silver key from colour levers box.

    ReplyDelete
  28. What does the book of curses do? I can't open it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. SD (tool, not creator) In right block of rooms bottom left.

    ReplyDelete
  30. it's BOTH an anagram and a lever clue

    ReplyDelete
  31. Through the silver key room is a bedroom with the numbers for the box in the room just before the creepy map seller

(this is certainly a lot more challenging)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Haha, Zoe. SD got me too - I couldn't resist the book of curses and now it doesn't open. Maybe it's a joke on us!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Knife. Silver door side one up and one left

    ReplyDelete
  34. ok SO not good with these kind of numbers!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thin rusted metal in same room as knife.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh my. Stuck in room where the knife was and can't get out

    ReplyDelete
  37. found a knift: on the right bunch of boxes; second row from bottom, left most room...hope that makes sense..

    ReplyDelete
  38. knife in 2 row up 7th over from the left

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh, and now that I've found the knife, I can't leave the room now. The door locked behind me. HELP!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Put the rusty piece of metal where the knife was..

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hello, thanks for your help.

    ReplyDelete
  42. how do you do the number clue please?

    ReplyDelete
  43. There's a bed with a note on it that doesn't make any sense..just a few wavy lines. ???

    ReplyDelete
  44. Roman numerals in right rooms bottom right is for number safe left side, second from left.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ok, far behind you lot! Got the orb jar, and the crowbar, and now the red key. Still looking for my map.

    ReplyDelete
  46. i know... but their roman numerals lol

    ReplyDelete
  47. YIKES!! the map isn't marked!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hi Rachel! The map is somewhat helpful, but not as it used to be. You have to buy it in the room bottom row, all the way to the left.

    ReplyDelete
  49. JadeAngel

It is 4 separate numbers (three single and a set of 3) a Roman Numeral converter should work

    SP2O5I4L6E9R3S

    ReplyDelete
  50. Trying to fix the map now. It was working the last I checked, now it's not.

    ReplyDelete
  51. And you can't write on the map - you can only make notes. I'm writing my own map like in the old days when these games did not have a map.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh lord thanks RSA Momma, I got the 2546 and 3 but for some reason had 1 as the second to last number

    ReplyDelete
  53. key... any key... whoo hoo???? where are you come out and play please!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I am now going in circles. Anyone found another key or another puzzle?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Obviously the object of the game is to put the gems into the book of curses to open it.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Zoe - flip the clipboard over for a blue key.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The clipboard with the wavy lines can be flipped over for a key :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yes, will need colour order for book of curses too it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  59. wow way late start for me today and looks like im missing a good live one :(

    ReplyDelete
  60. SD in 1st row 5 room to the left

    ReplyDelete
  61. dang it!! spent 50 orbs on a book that won't open! *sigh* LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  62. purple key 8th row up 2nd room over to left

    ReplyDelete
  63. POP! Thanx for the clue with the anagram!! I was using Rob Row for the colours!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yeah...best to wait until the end to buy the book. Anyone who hasn't bought the curse book yet, don't. Buy the crystal first. I wish I had done that!!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Top left section, 5 up, one left = clue for letter box which is across the way to the right (anagram)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Click the chart with the wavy lines at the top and the blue key is there.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I don't see a sd in fifth room to the left bottom row. What items are in the room where it is?

    ReplyDelete
  68. i didnt put the gems in any particular order, just added them to the book, then I could open it, not sure if it was sheer luck, I also didnt open the box that had the dials on it either

    ReplyDelete
  69. Not impressed with the empty map. I usually love these games and can't be bothered copying and labelling the map.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Fixed the drawing on the map, you will need to refresh, not start over. Everything should be saved! Sorry about that...

    ReplyDelete
  71. Is the purple key in the same room as the dials box?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oops! Sorry, we were posting at the same time.

    Thanks SD.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I am so behind.. but the "rob row" doesnt work with my color levers

    ReplyDelete
  74. @Bat E, The map is what it is. My labeling the rooms with letters makes it too easy for most players and it takes more time for me to do. How many escape games have a map? Also how many escape game creators try to please everyone? I almost didn't add a map at all.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Is there a wheelchair in the room where the purple key is?

    ReplyDelete
  76. JEB5JD

    Anagram it.

Hint - the two reds are next to each other

    ReplyDelete
  77. Any idea where the clue for the Four Dial box
    above fire place is ??
    Need one more gem

    ReplyDelete
  78. flashlight 8th row up 1st room on right

    ReplyDelete
  79. Selfdefiant: I'm ok with you doing that. It's still a very interesting, and more challenging game. Labeling the rooms does make it almost too easy, and now that we can draw on teh map makes it better.
    Thanks!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I don't mind now I can draw on it. It didn't work before.

    ReplyDelete
  81. @ Morgan. Thought the clue for dials is behind piano (dates), but I can't see to get it to work.

    ReplyDelete
  82. the game is taking too long to load

    ReplyDelete
  83. have 5 gems, Blue, Pink, Red, Green and Purple... need two more

    ReplyDelete
  84. I wonder what the room with all the writing on the walls with red letters mean..anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Oh my soul. Can I hell find that purple key !!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Thanks jenn, working on that now !

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hmmm I broke the glass in the topmost left room, but can't take the extinguisher?

    ReplyDelete
  88. purple key is in the top room sorry on the left side. where the fire extenguisher is... smash glass

    ReplyDelete
  89. anyone figure out the dials?

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm ok without the labelled map! Just makes me work my brain more :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yep, alphabetical and subtract dates, ty jenn.

    And Out

Thank you Selfdefiant, I enjoyed drawing
my own map, again, like old times.

    ReplyDelete
  92. RSA-- thanks so much! it was a DUH! moment. sorry it took so long to post too, i had to run away from the computer for a moment

    ReplyDelete
  93. Two gems left and no clue as to the order or the dials. It's a challenging one.

    ReplyDelete
  94. the roman numerals - anyone else get 254708? it didn't work on the box though :(

    ReplyDelete
  95. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  96. You can put the knife in a slot in the bottom row, most right room and take it out again, but I don't know if it does anything...

    ReplyDelete
  97. @Selfdefiant Sorry to criticise - I was in a rush. I'm going to start again tomorrow when I have plenty of time - it seems too challenging to breeze through it quickly. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  98. been wondering about that too Zoe

    ReplyDelete
  99. Gold key in a drawer: third row from bottom, most right room.

    ReplyDelete
  100. How to remove the covered thing in bathroom with 3X3 square hint? If that's the last gem then I am almost out.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Need last hint for the dial-code...

    ReplyDelete
  102. Cheers for the dials clue, guys. One gem to go and I have no idea where to start looking!

    ReplyDelete
  103. @Jenn: you have to leave the knife in the thin slot... then the gate is open.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Thanx Zoe! I was wondering about that, seeing as we found the knife in the other slot. I put that rusty metal piece in the first one. Now just need to find what happened when I put the knife in the other slot.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Silly question - but what do I break the glass with? Do i need a hammer??

    ReplyDelete
  106. Can anyone help me with the anagram on the top left? I don't know, anything is that :(
And... what to break the glass with?

    ReplyDelete
  107. I got 254693 from roman numerals

Take Knife and replace it with piece of metal..
to get out of the room

Put Knife in room with bed (right side)
This opens a covering further up to the left.
    For a Gem.

    ReplyDelete
  108. had to leave...but I'm back! I'm really enjoying this one so I haven't read the comments yet... Is anyone having problems writing on the map?

    ReplyDelete
  109. still need help with the dial.. Please!

    ReplyDelete
  110. so the dials should be 11 1 12 and 6 right? it's not working

    ReplyDelete
  111. JessieFaith

It is what you would be if you were really there :)

    The letters are EASUNE

    SuPnOeIaLsEeR

    ReplyDelete
  112. Duh - missed a room, found the hammer LOL

    ReplyDelete
  113. POP! That was a great one. Very Tricky!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Thanx Morgan. Will check that out.

    ReplyDelete
  115. eh.. dont need the dial any more...I'm out. but dident open it thou... just arranged some of my gems to other spaces and POP I could open the book.. think its a bug

    ReplyDelete
  116. Try alphabetically @Jade Angel. Also dont't worry about gem order, just put them in the book. I'm out

    ReplyDelete
  117. Zoe,
Did you ever find the screwdriver? I need it now

    ReplyDelete
  118. lns what room i think im missing it too

    ReplyDelete
  119. nvm... got it.. need one more gem...

    ReplyDelete
  120. hmmm...guess everyone is out?

    ReplyDelete
  121. Hammer!!! Yes!! I will make a map in a moment, just want to get through myself :)

    ReplyDelete
  122. I have the Blue, Pink, Red, Green, purple and white gems...

    ReplyDelete
  123. nvm only need 6... OUT.. finally lol Great game SD!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  124. @lns nevermind im retarded this morning

    ReplyDelete
  125. SD, I had the purple gem, and when I placed it in the book, left the book and went back, it turned into a green gem. When I Came back to the book later, the purple gem which turned green was gone.
    I guess it's a bug?

    ReplyDelete
  126. RSA Momma:
No. Someone said it was fifth room from the left bottom row, but to me that is the room where there's a black mass. I looked in all the rooms around that room and didn't find it.

    ReplyDelete
  127. can't find gold key? going in circles

    ReplyDelete
  128. Is it the piano where you need to use the sd?

    ReplyDelete
  129. oh oops. One of my gems also disappeared out of my book

    ReplyDelete
  130. I have to go visit my friend who just had twins. Will have to finish this later.
    Thanks for all your helP!!

    ReplyDelete
  131. RSA, I found the screwdriver over on the lower right hand side of the map. it was on a window sill.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Zoe

Thats okay as I have now lost the shower where I need it :)
Maybe I should have re-freshed so I could write on the map

    ReplyDelete
  133. Looking for the red gem pleaseeeee :(

    ReplyDelete
  134. Rachel,

    Many thanks. Found it
It is on the bottom row and is the left most room

    ReplyDelete
  135. the gold key was in a drawer - I might be mistaken but I think it was where the dentist chair was

    ReplyDelete
  136. yeah made it out with virtually no help good game SD like it better with no labels on map made me think

    ReplyDelete
  137. Well, I thought this was fun...until...I can't draw on map and can't decipher any clues in comments because I don't know where anyone is by their directions....all I have is a crowbar that I used to get red key...bought a useless map and the magic transporter...no more orbs to find.....oh well! lolol

    ReplyDelete
  138. Hold on,
The screwdriver is on the right bottom quadrant in the left most room.

(this is like trying to direct someone in a complicated Airnais game :))

    ReplyDelete
  139. Thanks RSA - darn there were 2 drawers you could open for keys in that room!

    ReplyDelete
  140. Thanks for a great game SD! Loved it!

    ReplyDelete
  141. ok...got the silver key...sludging along now...lol

    ReplyDelete
  142. Despite being room blind (my fault) I really enjoyed this. Liked the end with the extra twist.
Changing gems were a touch confusing, but I guess it was to tell us we hadn't put them in the right place.
    TY SD! Good one!

    ReplyDelete
  143. What to do at the piano?

    ReplyDelete
  144. Ok, maybe this will help with giving directions :) If you can't make out the room letters, let me know and I will make them white.

    http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u51/Smurfbunni/Misc/SelfDefiant13-04-2012.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  145. Alice,

Just move the sheet music for a gem

    ReplyDelete
  146. That was wonderful! Thank you, SD! Took me 45 minutes, but I finally made it.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Stuck on the dials! does it have anything to do with the names on the piano?

    ReplyDelete
  148. Rachel,
math with year numbers for each name & order from names (ABC)

    ReplyDelete
  149. dials - look at piano - subtract dates for numbers and then use names to put in alphabetical order

    ReplyDelete
  150. I didn't get to play this live - but thank you SD!! I liked the map not being labelled, made it more challenging. Great puzzles. Once again, another great game!

    ReplyDelete
  151. I never opened the dial box.
Maybe that is why one of my gems disappeared. I think one of the gems (pink?) was taken out but somehow managed to sneak itself back in (spooky)

    ReplyDelete
  152. ah! finally my SD fix! going in....

    ReplyDelete
  153. Placed 6 gems in book, got a red ankh symbol, book opened, got something that looks like a wand but is labeled "empty water jug". Didn't open dial box. Didn't see any year/date clue behind piano. I think I can probably leave now but will stick around for a while to see if I can help. (all my clues are written on map -- will lose them if I leave the game.)

    ReplyDelete
  154. Great game as always, Self-Defiant! But still a little buggy (I could get out without finishing the game... my gems kept multiplying on the book, I opened it without the green one).

    ReplyDelete
  155. Went back to the piano and this time clicking on the coins/pics on back gave me dates. Was able to open dial safe & get white gem. But my book was already opened & there is no place to put the gem now. Like Valerie says, a bit buggy...especially when we're used to Self-Defiant games being near perfect. But a buggy SD game is still a great game. Thanks, SD. I'm a fan! Gonnna see if my funky waterjug opens the door.

    ReplyDelete
  156. On the map, on the right hand side is a group of 10 rooms, the third room up,near left hand side is a box with grey, white, blue colours does anyone know the order please.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Late, as always, but soooooo happy to have a new SD game!!!

    ReplyDelete
  158. yvonne,

    SPOILER coloured tiles:

    Gy-W-B
    W-Gy-W
    B-W-B

    ReplyDelete
  159. too many bugs. may have to retry when fixed. not enjoying the map.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I didn't realize that you could get out without getting all of the gems. I found the problem and fixed it. I also fixed the wand. These bigger games are a bit trickier for me too! Thanks everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  161. The map is fixed, you have to refresh, sometimes clear the browser's cache too.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Solution for box with coloured squares, go left and up. On the wall tiles.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Hi Selfdefiant, love your games.

    ReplyDelete
  164. well, I got out. was looking endlessly for the 7th gem, but you only need 6.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Hi Premiere thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Enjoy: do you remember where the red gem is?

    ReplyDelete
  167. Hi all i started late and did it mostly all alone, i had a pink or purple gem in the book and when i wanted to take it back it disappeared.
I reloaded but still the pink gem was gone. I had 6 :(
Will i have to restart at scratch ???

Otherwise @SD i love the more challenging map a lot, much more than the labeled one.
Cool game in any case !!!

    ReplyDelete
  168. Oh nooooo. Once I've got the orb, I can't draw on my map anymore. Damn!!!

    ReplyDelete
  169. Well i have to go now, i´ll come back later and see...

    ReplyDelete
  170. Nice game SD, Thanks!!!

    ReplyDelete
  171. Still looking for the red gem and a flashlight. Any help?

    ReplyDelete
  172. I have two pink gems. Can't figure out the dials.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Purple key behind fire extinguisher-need to break glass w/hammer.Top room on right.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Maybe it was the left side -sorry

    ReplyDelete
  175. Where do we use the screwdriver?

    ReplyDelete
  176. goodnight irene: Selfdefiant made the map that way to make it more challenging.

    ReplyDelete
  177. maybe it's cursed :D (the map)

    ReplyDelete
  178. need help finding silver key! I can't find the coloured lever box anywhere! found the clue for it though......

    ReplyDelete
  179. POP - found out where to use sd: third row from the bottom, left most room, lower right

    ReplyDelete
  180. Thank you SD for all of your awesome games! Love them!

    ReplyDelete
