    ReplyDelete
  81. and sometimes I feel like a dump as well. in this game I just acted dumb :p

    ReplyDelete
  82. where on earth is the red gem?? hint plse

    ReplyDelete
  83. chalkboard code...25 into 5 is .2 not 5

    SD doesn't know math.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Hi ! I can't find silver key please (got red and blue)

    ReplyDelete
  85. Well, this sucks! I don't get the 475 and 325 code. I have punched the numbers in and pulled the level after each one, nothing. What am I not getting here?

    ReplyDelete
  86. gayle - from 375 -425

    ReplyDelete
  87. @jack... i noticed that too!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Ok, found plunger in B and silver key in H

    ReplyDelete
  89. ty casual - totally missed that spot - out now!!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I don't find the red gem in U. And what is the flashlight for ? I tried to used in every room, but it doesn't help.

    ReplyDelete
  91. @pdgph: flashlight in V & red gem near wheel

    ReplyDelete
  92. Thank you Casual ! I had the flashlight, but even with your help, I had some trouble to find the red gem (the hotspot is tiny). I have the blue and the green gems too. I can't believe that there are 4 other gems !

    ReplyDelete
  93. @pdgph, red gem is in pipe, near middle of screen.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thank you Ritybuds for the knife !

    ReplyDelete
  95. I gott go, so I'll just post where to find gems and keys:

    WHITE GEM: C
    BLUE GEM: H
    GREEN GEM: O
    YELLOW GEM: Q
    RED GEM: U
    PURPLE GEM: Q
    PINK GEM: L

    RED KEY: K
    SILVER KEY: H
    BLUE KEY: I
    PURPLE KEY: N
    GREEN KEY: U
    GOLD KEY: INSIDE BOOK

    ReplyDelete
  96. How do the triangles on the chalkboard make "6"? Am I dumb...?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thank you, Casual ! notice that the purple gem is in V, on the floor (bottom left corner, use torch).

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Jack, @JEB: The clue on the chalkboard says 25 divided by 5. Therefore SD's math is correct.

    ReplyDelete
  99. That chalkboard equation should be 5)25, not 25)5.... :P

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thx Casual for the explanation (i was away from keyboard) Now i understand very well :)

    ReplyDelete
  101. @ Cyberjar88
    No..it's incorrect.

Doesn't SD also put 0 degrees at 3 o'clock or was that someone else? Maybe figuring out their mistakes is part of the puzzle.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Please help finding plunger for nasty toilet. Found the blue gem in H but no silver key or plunger.

    ReplyDelete
  103. 6 * 5 * 172 gives a 4-digit number. Need a 5-digit number for the box in room K. ??????

    ReplyDelete
  104. Zee, just put in numbers, do not multiply

    ReplyDelete
  105. LOL That was too easy! Duh!!!

    ReplyDelete
  106. @Sam, as miles wrote above the plunger is in a room behind blue door (i remember that it was somewhere to the left of scene) Then you get silver key whan you are using the plumber in the toilet.

  108. @Self-Defiant....Excellent game, as always; however....you evil, evil man....lol!!!!! The letters on the chairs which form a word which refers to the arrow box but is not immediately apparent therefore causing one to search the entire bloody spooky house then finally realization of your true *Sneaky* nature sinks in and the anagram works on the arrow box after all....gasp!!!!!!! Moral of the rather verbose, rambling sentence above: I will do anything to extend the playing time of your games :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. @beavinator...since triangles have 3 sides, 6 triangles x 3 = 18, then divide by one triangle, or 3, giving 6 as the answer :) I hope that makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  110. @irishenigma: why make it so complicated? there are 6 triangles devided by one. so 6/1 = 6...

    ReplyDelete
  111. first of all, thanks to everyone who helped me and I needed a lot ;)

    1134 WALKTHROUGH

    ROOM A

    - remove rock right side of ground and take SCREWDRIVER
    - use screwdriver to open drawer and notice CODE HINT
    - use these numbers to open lock right of door (solution below)

    ROOM C

    - pick up map from right side of stairs
    - click sign left side of stairs and take WHITE GEM

    ROOM D

    - take crowbar right of small stairs

    ROOM M

    - check blackboard for CODE HINT

    ROOM K

    - use numbers from hint on small box on the table and take RED KEY

    ROOM I

    - use crowbar on rock right of chair and take BLUE KEY

    ROOM B

    - take PLUNGER from the left side

    ROOM H

    - use screwdriver on drain inside basin and take BLUE GEM
    - zoom on toilet, use plunger and take SILVER KEY

    ROOM O

    - take GREEN GEM from door (between ivy)

    ROOM P

    - take HAMMER from bottom left side of ground

    ROOM N

    - use hammer on red X and take PURPLE KEY

    ROOM Q

    - remove the junk right side of bed and take YELLOW GEM

    ROOM W

    - notice letters on chairs and take FLASHLIGHT from chair

    ROOM U

    - zoom are near pipes and wheel and take RED GEM
    - click safe in the back and used anagramed letters to open it, take GREEN KEY

    ROOM S

    - take KNIFE from window

    ROOM L

    - use knife on chair and take PINK GEM

    ROOM V

    - use flashlight in lower left corner and take PURPLE GEM
    - pick up BOOK from right side, click it in your inventory and insert all seven gems (order doesn't matter)
    - click through the pages and take GOLD KEY
    - go up and you are out!

    SOLUTIONS

    DOOR LOCK
    - numbers on note are 3.75 and 4.25, so first make arrow switch to 3 and click the grey bar, do the same with 7, 5 and 4,2,5 - door should open automatically

    5-DIGIT-BOX
    - you see 6 triangles devided by 1 triangel - so 6/1 = 6
    - 25/5 = 5 (for me it looks like a root, but anyways)
    - and roman numerals: C = 100, L = 50, X = 10, I = 1 - so it's 172
    - now math is over, just put the numbers from left to right in the box (65172)

    ARROW BOX
    - the letters from the seats are an anagram for "dwell"
    - d stands for "down", w for west, e for "east" and l for "left" (which would be 23133 - from left to right)

    ReplyDelete
  112. @casual...that is just the way my mind works. I cycle through all possibilities and have over-analyzed simple solutions in more games than I care to count...lol!!! On the other hand, sometimes I go 90 miles an hour from A to B and arrive at the solution with hardly a thought at all ;) In SD's games though, my thought process has a great deal to do with some of the sneaky things he likes to do to keep us on our toes :)

Great walkthrough! Thank you for taking the time to write it down :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. lol, I know exactly what you mean. if not someone mentioned that there is no special arrangement for the gems, I'd probably still looking for a color order for the gems instead of just insert them...

    ReplyDelete
  114. irishenigma, you sound like a mathematician. Because it's usually THEM to think that way...they think how to use integrals, differentiate, even stochastics...until they realize you could just have used a simple equation or a rule of three :)

    ReplyDelete
  115. @arbeit...lol!!! I do tend to calculate the various ways to solve a problem...not only in mathematics but I waste so much time trying to escape some of these games...sheesh!!!! Aw well...at least we know our brains are still working ;) That is what that means, isn't it :/ lol!

lol @casual...we are so used to SD giving us a color order hint :) I think he gets a kick out of watching us go crazy when he changes things up...lol!!

    ReplyDelete
  116. out with 97 orbs - great game! Love the scary ones.

    ReplyDelete
  117. LOL 1134 is hell backwards...

    ReplyDelete
  118. Excellent game @selfdefiant! I came to it late but enjoyed it immensely nonetheless. Only got 98 orbs, so I might have the pleasure of playing again.

And @Leroy, it's backwards AND upside down, which means it's really heaven, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  120. LOL zoz why do I immediately see these things? Too many riddles played?

    ReplyDelete
  121. Great game selfdefiant! Thanks a lot!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Played through the game twice and still can't get more than 98 orbs. Let me guess, there are only 98 orbs instead of 100? :P

    ReplyDelete
  123. Thanks irishenigma and Casual. I think I was thinking of that line as meaning that one triangle was the result of an equation involving the other 6, rather than as a division sign (probably because he used a different division sign right next to it for the 5).

    ReplyDelete
  124. Great game SelfDefiant! :)

    ReplyDelete
  125. @selfdefiant funny 1134 HELL

    ReplyDelete
  126. Leroy 8/8/12 4:26 PM

    Good call! Didn't catch that.

    Great game as usual.

  128. kate, you can take a look at the video walkthrough. somehow the wt-button in the game doesn't work, but there is a youtube channel from Selfdefiant (or at least someone who calls himself SD)

you can see where to click at 1:38

  131. I only got 94 orbs -- but there's (at least) 2 in the hallway on the way out!

Even after learning that the anagram was the key to the arrows, I got it wrong at first -- I tried L=Lower!

Self-defiant -- what a beautiful game (for a "dark") series. I used my flashlight all over, even though I only needed it for the purple gem!

    ReplyDelete
  132. The division on the chalk board was wrong, he had the numerator and the divisor in the wrong order.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Has anyone mentioned that 1134
is HELL upsidedown and backwards !

    ReplyDelete
  134. Awesome game, SD! Love, love, loved it! Twiddling while waiting for the next one....thanks so much for your games. I used the flashlight all over. It helped me find the orbs in my resolution. What's this about Axend 2013?? Looking forward to that! Thanks for being my favorite escape, Self Defiant! :)

    ReplyDelete
  135. this game took me like the whole day made my brain work really hard but it was funn.:)

    ReplyDelete
  137. I agree. The arrow keys in U don't move. They make a clicking sound but that's it.

    ReplyDelete
  138. WHAT DO I DO WITH THE CHAIRS W

    ReplyDelete
  139. it's incredible! I unlocked the door in room A, but when I click to get out, I can't. I stay in the same room. The guy just doesn't get out. wtf??

    ReplyDelete
  140. There are at least 99, possibly 100 orbs available to collect. (Hint for the last one: In the place not shown by maps, look at how you choose a path.)
