  39. cleaned the mirror and found letters eurslb

which makes rubles but that doesn't open the box

    what am I missing now?

    ReplyDelete
  40. There seems to be something wrong with the anagram box. I couldn't figure it out, so I looked at the video walkthrough. I put "rubles" in the box and it will not open.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Jeep, did you get the 5 marbles? that gives a key

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  48. Using an anagram solver, there's only one word and it doesnt work....

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Jim, there is a sponge in K

    ReplyDelete
  50. Thanks Jo-Ann. I missed that click too.

    ReplyDelete
  51. thx @ jo-ann still don't know what it means but it worked xD

    ReplyDelete
  52. @Jeep I posted above how to make it work

    ok, for the anagram box

first you have to click on the letters on the mirror. It will say It must be a clue! then the box will recognize it and it will open with rubles

    ReplyDelete
  53. rubles are the form of money in Russia

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  59. FInally got it with some help ! Add the number corresponding to the letters of the first word, do the same for the second word. Just put the 2 numbers together, don't try to multiply them.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @pdgph were they not multiplied in the end? gosh, I tried so many things I forget now!

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Jo-Ann: that's exactly what I did and didn't work... :(

    ReplyDelete
  62. K I deleted that previous spoiler

    use pdgph's hint above

    ReplyDelete
  63. What about de word ? http://www.ssynth.co.uk/~gay/anagram.html gives the word RUBLES, and that doesn't work...

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sorry, I meant "what about THE word", of course...

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Jo-Ann,

No, they aren't ! I was trying the same thing as you, since in algebra (something)(someotherthing) means a multiplication.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @pdgph, I mentioned above

to get rubles to work, you have to click on the letters on the mirror first. It will say something about this must be a clue. Then rubles will work on the letter box

(Or have I gone mad with anagrams after trying to understand what RUBLE meant - eventually got it with help from you lovely people when I realised that in England it's spellt ROUBLE!).

  105. ok, just played it and it was ok except the north shore number clue! translating the letters of the alphabet into numbers did not result in 75 for north and 65 for shore (unless i misread something in the clue, which i don't think i did!) I got 95 for north and 80 for south!

    ReplyDelete
  106. @madliz: NORTH=14+15+18+20+8=75
    SHORE=19+8+15+18+5=65
makes 7565. Maybe your calculator needs new batteries? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  110. sorry guys, my mistake, and humble apologies for sd!! counted it on my fingers, and thought N was 19, not 14, so all the ones after that had 5 added!! duh!!

    ReplyDelete
  111. A political and opinionated post in a gaming forum? Bad form! Happy 9/11? Well that just makes you sound horrid. I have lived in England, Canada, and the US, each for many years. What I've learned is that "hippiesque" days of travel are no more, and it behooves oneself to discover what regulations, limits etc are concerning travel. It sounds more like unpreparedness and ignorance versus countries trying to make their borders more secure. Just my humble but educated opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Where do you use the hammer in "O"?

    ReplyDelete
  113. nevermind, I found it X3

    ReplyDelete
  114. 4 coins in K
