ReplyDeleteYes! This is my favorite type of game!
ReplyDeleteI think the past several weeks all of these great game creators were holidaying together and now they are all releasing their games at one to make us totally unproductive in real life!
ReplyDeleteNo really, thanks so much to SelfDefiant, Ainars, Esklavos, and Mateusz! You guys are awesome!
knife in B
ReplyDeleteKNIFE in room B
ReplyDeleteHi all, i am stuck in T on box with 5 letters. Richrd Geninson wrote this ?
ReplyDeleteWho is Richard Gerninson?
ReplyDeleteWho is Richard Gerninson???
ReplyDeleteApparently Richard Gernison wrote a lot of things...
ReplyDeleteJust going in - strange that two people have given it a low rating.
ReplyDeletestuck already.... need clue for 5 letter box and for 3x3 box
ReplyDeleteno idea where to use the knife
Bat E - I think some people rate low because they're jealous!!
ReplyDeletelove these games
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...the music book on the piano has "Richard Strauss"
ReplyDeleteIn T, we learn that Richard Gernison wrote... a dress :D
ReplyDeleteGerninson...can´t find him in google.
ReplyDeletetwo dresses in fact! and neither can be slashed by my knife
ReplyDeleteSo if it's Strauss, it's not like there's much we need to possibly try typing out on the piano... only full operas and stuff, shouldn't take long, couple hours? xD
ReplyDeleteOnly 2 stars for an SD game?
ReplyDeleteI found a note in O - use the knife on the right-hand glass on the large cabinet.
ReplyDeletePiano doesn´t work on box
ReplyDeleteHm. never been so soon so stuck in an SD :(
ReplyDeletePeople rating low because they have yet to figure the puzzles etc... basically people who like quick, non thinking, pointless "escape" games which challenge you about as much as Jersey Shore is intelligent programming
ReplyDeleteDon't know what it means, though
ReplyDeleteI am assuming we are all stuck in the same spot? Or is someone sailing along and not sharing hints?
ReplyDeleteOh, I think it's what notes to play...duh
ReplyDeleteuse the knife in O! Got a little further but stuck again, can't get the letters right. Found a book but don't know how to use it.
ReplyDeletecant get piano clue to work
ReplyDeleteGreat find Zoe, this is hint for piano, got green key.

ReplyDeleteGreat find Zoe, and then use note on piano to get green key.

ReplyDeleteUse clue on box in A
ReplyDeleteoh wait for me guys ..

ReplyDeleteSilver key from box in room A

ReplyDeleteSilver key in box in A
ReplyDeleteLighter in room Q
ReplyDeleteAnd again Gerninson lol...
ReplyDeleteGerninson is all over the place!
ReplyDeleteCome on SD - fess up - who is this guy???
So far, candles are in P, G and C
ReplyDeleteLighter is in Q (on the window)
ReplyDeleteLit candles in P C G so far.
ReplyDeleteStick the knife in the cabinet in O to get a note. Assume it's piano clue.
ReplyDeleteHammer in room H.
ReplyDeleteUse the word clue as number code (alphabet to numbers)
Yep smarties...
ReplyDeleteUse hammer on wall in room I to get purple key.
ReplyDeleteWhich word clue ?
ReplyDeleteNumber box in H, clue in H for number box.
ReplyDeleteLabel on cupboard in H says 'headed'
ReplyDeleteI ought to refresh before commenting!
ReplyDeleteRed key in room S in one of the square glass vases.
ReplyDelete@small-tools : which word clue ?
ReplyDeleteI just want to say that I saw these photos used for this game recently on fear.net! If you get a chance, look at all the photos. The mansion was owned by a doctor and was abandoned, and everything was left just like it is!
ReplyDeleteIn room H there is a clue, I think. Up high there is a name plated on a cabinet and the comments say "the label on the door says HEADED" But the box in T needs only 5 letters, so don't know...
ReplyDeletenvm, I didn't refresh fast enough ;)
ReplyDeleteThere's a book in F with clue for the box with 'corners' you have to turn.
ReplyDeleteGold key in room K
ReplyDeleteok guys im stuck only have yellow gem cant go to room B for knife ..wht to do ?
ReplyDeleteThere's a box in H?!?!? I tried for so long... At last.
ReplyDeleteAnother candle is in R... So far, C G P R are lit.
ReplyDeletethx S-T for word clue ;-)
Count the letters for the box
ReplyDeleteI surely can pry a board with a hammer and screwdriver. What more could I possibly need?
ReplyDeleteThx s-t and Zoe, got hammer.
ReplyDeleteclue for the box in T is in V
ReplyDeleteSo far candles in P, G, C, R, D and U
ReplyDeletewhere to use SD ?
ReplyDeleteLoose floorboard in J
ReplyDeleteAnother candle in D
ReplyDeleteYesss Thanks Selfdefiant
ReplyDeleteCrowbar in E
ReplyDeleteRichard Gerninson must not be the creepy doctor. He didn't write anything in those rooms.
ReplyDeleteBlue gem from box in T (anagram the word in V to a girls name).
ReplyDeleteCrowbar used in J for green gem.
ReplyDeletepurple gem in W from pressing the cross
ReplyDeleteClue in V to use in T
ReplyDeleteOnce you light all the candles, return to C...
ReplyDeleteOrange gem in G after doing all candles in P, G, C, R, D and U
ReplyDeleteSo 5 gems now, lit a bunch of candles... now I don't know what to do...
ReplyDeleteCan´t go to V, need gold key.
ReplyDeleteMake that 6 (got the orange)
ReplyDeleteWhite gem in V, in dress pocket
ReplyDeleteWhere is gold key ?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the purple and white gem. Have all gems now :)
ReplyDeleteZazie, Gold key is in K
ReplyDeleteZazie,
ReplyDeleteIn room K
Gold Key was in K I believe.
ReplyDeletePOP found it in K
ReplyDeleteAlmost out - placing gems now!
ReplyDeleteput purple gem in P
ReplyDeleteSomeone knows the title of the music in background? seems a strauss opera... maybe the best clue ;-)
ReplyDeletepurple gem in W, play with the cross
ReplyDeletecrowbar in E - for the floorboard I presume.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have all 7 gems, go to all the rooms to find the places where to put them and then go out below room C.
ReplyDeleteGreat game, thanks for all the help team mates :)
Out!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Game as always SD!!!!
thanks for the great game
ReplyDeleteHow embarrassing! I didn't realize that Richard Gerninson wrote everything! I fixed it, :)
ReplyDeleteAnd out finally! 220700 score
ReplyDeleteLol, don't fix it Selfdefiant, it's very funny :)
ReplyDeleteYes, small-tool, we are all a team!! Love that!
ReplyDeletePink gem in W
ReplyDeleteOooo I'm number 5! Won't last long I'm sure! Good luck everybody!
ReplyDeleteTricky spots for me:
cross
finding the stupid lighter. I clicked everywhere and am still not sure where in the room it really was (I saw someone posted window).
Richard Gerninson is that annoying guy from School you bump into years later in a bar, who sits there trying to get you to buy him drinks whilst muttering on and on about having written everything >_>
ReplyDeleteBut, but but -- SD -- who IS he???
ReplyDeleteAnd out !!!
ReplyDelete@Spectre - LOL - I know him well!!!
ReplyDeletePlaces to put the gems :
ReplyDeleteA => Yellow // D => Green // F => Red // N => White // P => Purple // R => Blue // U => Orange
Btw. lovelygiraffe posted after doing all the candles go back to C.
ReplyDeleteFor me it was going back to G for the orange gem.
Is it different in every game, or depending on the order you do the candles?
haha Zoe you beat me with the score...
ReplyDeleteSuper game, thx Selfdefiant !!
ReplyDelete@Zoe, I think you were right, someone's jealous.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed that and only got stuck on the anagram because stupid me was looking for a proper word :D
Having said that, I had to go around a few times looking for things.
A good distraction from a miserable, drizzly afternoon.
ANd out. Thanx Selfdefiant for this game. And don't fix the "Gerninson glitch", it's so fun ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your help :)
At least, Selfdefiant, now you're here, you can explain us WHO IS RICHARD GERNINSON ?
ReplyDeleteWe all want to know it now ;)
Place for purple gem is quite well hidden - put in bookshelves in P.
ReplyDeleteGood game. Apologies for echoing others' clues - I didn't want to see what was written before in case of spoilers...
ReplyDeleteNo worries Smarties... Better too much clues than less ;)
ReplyDeleteCANT GET THE SUNUS CLUE RIGHT
ReplyDeletePLS HELP
I think lovelygiraffe meant go back to C so you can go down and out the final exit doors, maybe...
ReplyDeleteSecond run through and I get first on leaderboard apparantly! Yay! xD won't last, but still...
ReplyDeletenikki - it's sunAs - think girls' names.
ReplyDeleteNikki - Try SUSAN

ReplyDeleteTHANKS
ReplyDeleteSD I LOVED this one! When I saw the photo set for this location on another site, the FIRST thing I thought was "Wow! These would make a great SD game!"
ReplyDeleteThe screwdriver is well hidden in N !
ReplyDeleteI used the screwdriver, the knife, the blue and the green keys. I'm stuck with the HEADED hint and "end." in the book.
ReplyDelete@pdgph: In room H is a 6-digit-box. Use the HEADED-hint there: A = 1.....
ReplyDeleteThank you Anja ! I didn't see the 6 digit box.
ReplyDeleteGreat game and great music :) (usually I shutdown the music during the game, this time I listen it) Thx Selfdefiant :)
ReplyDeletewhere is the red key
ReplyDeleteNews article about the house:
ReplyDeleteCreepy Doctor's House
Thank you for this great game Selfdefiant. Loved it.
ReplyDelete@Tamara B : red key is in room S
ReplyDeletewhere's the purple gem in the book case?
ReplyDeleteThank you SelfDefiant for another great game. You rock! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you everyone for your helpful hints, as always. :D
Tamara, you have to put the purple gem in the bookcase when you have all the gems
ReplyDeleteAn SD is always enjoyable and much appreciated but I was a bit frustrated with this one - I missed the orbs - being a bit OCD about those! Also missed the benefits from them - ie the crystal that made moving around so easy. Not so bad as not such a huge game. Little niggles I know - still had fun :) I guess I'm acting a little spoilt - always expecting every SD game to surpass the last....
ReplyDeletegreat game Selfdefiant.....missed the orbs, tho lol
ReplyDeleteIf you google Richard Gerninson, this page is the only result. lol
ReplyDeleteAnother great game, SD!
ReplyDeleteThis one was a little more challenging for me. I needed to go to the comments for help this time.
hope someone is still here. where exactly do you use the screwdriver? someone above mentioned to use it in L but only two hot spots there and they don't do anything
ReplyDeletebrin3cm: I used the SD in the room with the creepy doll sitting in a chair. I think that is room L, but I used it on the front part of the seat of the chair to the left (under the left arm rest)...hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteGreat game
ReplyDeleteThanx Selfdefiant
More difficult than most Needed hints
Self Defiant, is Richard Gerninson your real name? Or a relative?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteSoozn, I take it you found the hammer?
ReplyDeleteTHAT WAS AWESOME!!!! So sorry I couldn't play live with everyone though! Wow, what a challenging game!!
ReplyDeleteThank Selfdefiant for another big game
ReplyDeleteThanks Selfdefiant for the game. Thanks people for the hints, specially Jo-Ann and heinzi about where to find and where to place purple gem.
ReplyDeletesomeone should make a Wikipedia page for Richard Gerninson LOL
ReplyDeleteSD - Absolutely love your games especially the asylum type but going through them too quickly now, perhaps add / change the puzzles or another huge map would be great, cant remember the name of the last one but it was great.... Janice
