    ReplyDelete
  14. Crowbar in F used on loose pannel in C gives key for piano

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh, and clue for typewriter is an anagram in the book.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hmmm, I had red key before getting the flashlight. Bug maybe?
@ Seed Tile puzzle I had to try a few times, but I'm major laggy with this game today.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Seedbeads what book? The one we took the ring from? Can't see anything worth anagraming there

    ReplyDelete
  24. You need the rose glasses.

    ReplyDelete
  25. thx Seed..

And btw, i cant get my tile code to work

    ReplyDelete
  26. This tile puzzle is the last thing I need to do and it just won't work... all it does it tell me "You touched the tile." no matter what I do or what I use. So frustrating!

  27. seabeads, click every tile the clue says to

    ReplyDelete

  37. The typewriter doesn't print the letters, but it says I touched the tile. lol

    ReplyDelete
  38. For the G puzzle - so specific... you have to click the JY tile, then the one two down from it, then the one to the left of that, then the bottom left corner one, then the one 4 to the right of it, and it'll tell you that the tile is loose, pry it off with the screwdriver. If you click anywhere else, it just doesn't work.
    [edited for clarity]

    ReplyDelete
  39. @tony, the order of the colors as you click them, G R Y B

Do you need help with the clue over the door?

    ReplyDelete
  40. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thanks, Seedbeads. I know I tried that before. I don't think I noticed the words change to tell me the tile was loose. I missed that step.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Tony
    1-green
    2-red
    3-yellow
    4-blue
    Clue reads: gry bgy rby

  43. Beau, the white gem is on the purple pedestal in E after you solve the puzzle in M.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wrong, you get the blue gem from the puzzle in M.
I don't remember what we did for the white gem.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Aaaaand shockwave just crashed as I was setting gems. :( Boo!
I will assume the door opens and you escape after and call it done!
Thanks for the clues everyone. Mmmmmwwwwwaaaahhhhh!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thanks Selfdefiant,
I was thinking you were at a independence day BBQ!
But no you hung around to post :))))

    ReplyDelete
  47. You get the white gem when you collect 50 orbs; it's on the purple pedestal.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thank you Self Defiant for another fun game! And thanks for not making us purchase the map. But I did miss the transporting crystal ball.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Phew! Not sure what to do with the green plant in O. Do I need to open the piano in D? If so, how? Where are the gems placed? (I have 7). Sorry if any of these have already been answered. A hint is just as welcome as a direct answer! Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Can't remember where all the gems went - I wandered aimlessly trying to figure it out. Once you've made the plant grow, there's nothing else to do but go back to the room with the pillars. The piano doesn't open; there's an open one elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Huw, the green plant, I think, gives you the green gem in E.
The piano in D is not used.

Once you've completed everything and collected all the gems, there are places on walls which indicate where to place the gems. You just have to go from room to room to find them.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Where to place gems:

    Red - B
    Yellow - D
    Orange - H
    Blue - L
    White - N
    Green - P
    Purple - T

    ReplyDelete
  53. Thanks, Seedbeads. I've no idea what I did, but suddenly all the slots to place the gems appeared in all the rooms and I was out. The POP effect! Thanks for the help, also to others. Excellent game, Selfdefiant. Thanks so much. I LOVE the picking up the orbs just by moving the mouse over them and the accompanying sound effect.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Great one Selfdefiant!

Thanks so much for all the wonderful games all the time!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. What's up with the silver key that was never used? (I don't remember where I found it.)

    ReplyDelete
  56. lol there were only 4 comments when I started
I can't believe I went through the almost the whole game without finding the map that was in plain sight
I can't find where to use the silver key

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't recall finding a silver key (maybe for the piano in D?). Don't recall using the flashlight anywhere either!

    ReplyDelete
  58. silver key was in A using the flashlight

    ReplyDelete
  59. @self defiant thank you for another great game

    ReplyDelete
  60. If it wasn't so late (Europe), I'd replay to see if the silver key opens the piano in D. Maybe some kind of bonus hidden there? Good night all and thanks for the helpful hints.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Me thinks the locked piano and silver key
was nothing more than Sneaky Deception....

    ReplyDelete
  62. I replayed and never found a place for the silver key, unless it is needed to exit.
It does NOT open the piano, BTW.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I found the silver key and tried to use the piano is closed. Not resolved. Finished the game with this useless key. Some bug?

    ReplyDelete
  67. I could only gather 67 orbs. Got the silver key, but no use on the piano. Oh, well. Still, a classic Asylum; Thanks SD!

    ReplyDelete
  68. @evans, follow the pattern given in the diary for the puzzle in M.

@iconland, if you had read the comments, you would know that the jar for the orbs comes from the ghost girl in I, in trade for her ring.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I prefer green orbs to purple ones.
    1 star. :)

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm only missing the red gem, and there are no clues in the comments. Help?

    ReplyDelete
  71. gmm, you get the red gem when you light the fireplace in B. The matches are in R.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  78. PeteBarbu: SD is in Q, not easy to see

    ReplyDelete
  79. I've searched in Q with rose coloured specs and with torch. I've slowly dragged the cursor around the room. No luck! Any chance of stupidly specific location within room Q?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Can't get any further without screwdriver. Will come back later.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Where is the green gem?

    ReplyDelete
  88. My flashlight is a plunger:). I can't find the red or black key. Not even with the flashligt in E. Is it a bug? Can somebody tell me please where to find the keys?

    ReplyDelete
  95. @Peggy in an ideal game a person should not have to look at comments or walk-through, there should be a logical sequence to do things and admittedly in this game there are, but in an effort to string things out the author left me bored.

    ReplyDelete
  96. And out. Thanks again.

    ReplyDelete
  97. i can´t find blue gem in L

    ReplyDelete
  98. Blue gem is in M after solving the puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  99. @iconland - the fun of these games is that you have to search things out and interpret the clues. You seem to think that everything should be completely obvious and easy to find. Selfdefiant's games are more logical than most. Your inability to find something has nothing to do with the quality of the game and your perpetual one star reviews are meaningless.
