    ReplyDelete
  19. Hammer gotten LOL
    right of dial puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  20. I assume "decaf" is for the (newly-tuned) piano, but not sure about the "opain" and the other does not work on its own. Really need the orb jar.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Cool find on that hammer. Use that to break the bricks over the fireplace for the green orb jar.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oooh, and they're the non-clicky kind, too. My favourite!

    ReplyDelete
  23. got map but 4 short on book...

    ReplyDelete
  24. "opain" is an anagram of "piano." And...?

    ReplyDelete
  25. just wondering if this is where the Stargate sent us! lol

    ReplyDelete
  26. decaf is faced backwards??? Maybe that helps??

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yellow star portal in L.

    ReplyDelete
  29. opain is piana backwardzs LOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  30. Faced?? That's so ridiculous. I even thought of that, and said, "Nah, that's just as random as the other."

  37. For flashlight, see my comment at 10:16 PM. Opain backwards is niapo

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh, right, I forgot to go back to the opain to enter my decaf. Blue gem, now. Still need pink gem and finished.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yes! Pink gem in Jesus urinal in L. Click cross points in order found in I. Out!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Just found it LOL out too SMP

    ReplyDelete
  41. Leroy and I didn't die. Yay.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hee hee I went well for a change...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah, me, too. I get held up on minutia like that hammer you found. Often, I'll be totally stumped just because of a screwdriver. SD hides his SD really well.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yeah slow and then top speed a bit the whole way trhu

    ReplyDelete
  45. ha, ignore last comment, found the shop, don't know how i missed clicking there.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  48. Gotta buy map once ya get bottle for orbs

    ReplyDelete
  49. don't ya just love it when you ask a question then find the answer right after you post the question?
    NMS

    ReplyDelete
  50. Thanks Leroy for the piano clue. That was my only difficulty.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I really have a problem with those safes. I tryed 34 left, then 7 right and 19 right but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  52. That DECAF -> FACED really didn't make a whole lot of sense. Ordering DECAF the same way as PIANO which would make EACFD seems like it would have been more sensible...
@SMP, I was always bad at hidden object games and do terribly at finding tools, especially in Asylum games which have so much crap on the floors and walls.

    ReplyDelete
  53. doris, for the combination safe, try the left arrow to 34, right arrow to 7, left arrow to 19, click on handle.

    ReplyDelete
  54. IT DOESN'T SAVE, CRAP!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Can't find the orb bottle anywhere... opened up all doors I could find so far... No bottle.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Gah, just found Newsteads comment at 10:19. Found it. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  57. rafaga, the yellow gem is in room D, in the drain of the sink. Use the screwdriver.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Thank you Peggy! I'll give it a try

    ReplyDelete
  59. Bored, 1 star.

Cannot find anything to put orbs in.

    ReplyDelete
  60. iconland, don't you read through the comments?

Find a hammer in room P, use it on the bricked-up fireplace in room I to find the jar for the orbs.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Peggy, it's not much use if you say the hammer is in room p to get the orbsjar, if you obviously need the hammer to get the map and to know there room p is in the first place ;)

I have trouble with the colourclocks.

    ReplyDelete
  62. POP, i was just stupid. Simply count the colours. It has nothing to do with the cross.

    ReplyDelete
  63. My bad. You're right, buecherverschlingen. I didn't think that one through.

OK, then. After you use the silver key, go up once and then right. Hopefully you'll find a hammer in that room.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks, found it :)

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm stuck on the piano puzzle. I tried DECAF, of course, and EACFD, according to the OPAIN hint.

The hint with the 4 number in cross (1 2 3 4) is used in room L.

    ReplyDelete
  66. the last key is a wand ???

    ReplyDelete
  67. Well, for the piano, just ignore the "OPAIN" red herring and anagram DECAF as FACED...

    ReplyDelete
  68. I have 6 gems : white yellow blue green pink red. I miss one of them, probably orange or purple ?

    ReplyDelete
  69. LOL... it was a purple gem, and I already had it !

    ReplyDelete
  70. Great game, Selfdefiant. I wish people would post hints, rather than direct spoilers or at least mark spoilers as such.

    ReplyDelete
  71. How many orbs? I ended with 43.

    ReplyDelete
  72. out, thanks for the hints.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I'm missing an orange gem (?) Done all the puzzles except for the mirror (cross) clue above the fireplace. Where does that go?

    ReplyDelete
  74. POP S.M.P. Newstead posted my answer at 10:38 PM. Note to self: always read the comments. D'oh!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Where is the screwdriver?

    ReplyDelete
  76. I wish the orb jar would be found in the first or second view. I always feel better when I go to a new room and am able to click on the orbs, and they're in the jar. Game used to be played that way a while back. SD, please consider placing the orb jar toward the start of the game. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  77. after you get the silver key you can get the hammer for the orb jar. But where is the silver key?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Oh, silver key is in the room with "North Lobby" sign in box. Use number from the beauty salon on the mirror....

    ReplyDelete
  79. where are the color clocks? I can't find a red key or gold key...

    ReplyDelete
  80. Zoe,

It's the panel looking thing on your right when you go upstairs.

    ReplyDelete
  81. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  82. @mel, I believe you need the crystal before you can get to Q. Once you have that, there is a portal that appears in L.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Out - colored clocks (dials) are in O

    ReplyDelete
  84. I had 43 orbs at the end, too.

Great game, SD. (However,I agree about being able to get the orb jar earlier. Otherwise lots of back tracking to get enough orbs for the map.)

    ReplyDelete
  85. The late finding of the orb jar made me nuts...everywhere I went were hotspots that were orbs and I could not find the real hotspots that I needed...oh well, a new challenge is always good, at least I am almost back to sanity now that I got out! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  86. Thanks Sd, it was a fun one.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hmm.. I don't see a yellow star or portal in L, and though I have the crystal, I can't enter Q. "You haven't been there yet.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Where do you enter the word "beauty"?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Elmo - you need to pull all the levers to get the star to appear. levers in D,E,H, I, M (think that's all of em). The Beauty word is entered in S

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thanks.. I had since figured out that I'd missed a lever and just came back to post the solution.

    ReplyDelete

  93. Did we ever figure out what the anagram for PIANO was for? It would be cool if we had a 7-letter anagram in one of these games that actually ended up being the letters for the rooms where you place the gems. SD did something similar once where the anagram letters were the ones he had left out of the map.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Maybe the PIANO anagram is for use in the next game - lol!!

    ReplyDelete
  95. The anagrammed PIANO was a clue that you had to anagram the similarly typed DECAF from the other room

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanks LLM, you are correct. I thought, hmm, maybe I should give a clue that it's an anagram (unlike I usually do.) but it seemed to make it more confusing after all. Thanks everyone! Glad you liked it!

    ReplyDelete
  97. other than my *face palm* brain moment on DECAF, this one was relatively easy, the layout was super simple, didn't really need a map. love these SD games.

    ReplyDelete
  98. LOL SD maybe next time use a mirrored clue?
cos decaf is faced backwards so piano becomes onaip
