  10. Nice and short. I had a bit of trouble finding the lighter but then I looked up!

  11. Can't find map in far left room. Anyone remember where it is??

    ReplyDelete
  12. would someone please tell me where the 3rd candle is? Thank you

  13. I remember that it was at the bar and it was little, needed time to find it

  14. don´t understand to make a word with the red 16_

  15. candles:

  16. haha....it is the number! The word is the number and gave the third candle!

  17. How the hell did you figure the piano code from the book ???

    ReplyDelete
  18. would someone please tell me where the 3rd candle is? Thank you

  19. kmoorer, look at a previous post: you get one from the piano, one from the wordbox, and one is in room K on the map.

  20. I followed the ones in between lines but BF the last 3

    ReplyDelete
  21. The piano didn't follow the order that's in the book. Did I miss a clue explaining how to figure out which keys to press?
Also, there was no hint at all for clicking on the cross, was there?
Or did I miss something major?

  22. Jenny map is in far right room at the bar

    ReplyDelete
  23. I guess I missed a clue also @Mrs.Mom. If I follow the book, I have eafbgceda. I found nothing to filter with (an overlay or glasses). @Dazz, I appreciate the spoiler, but I do like to understand logic other than Brute Force.

  24. @Joe Comix, me too! I hate having to BF, it's so frustrating. And no hint that the cross was even "clickable" that I saw. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  25. Fixed the piano, not sure how that happened! Thanks everyone!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. The only clue I saw on the cross was the hotspot changed after I clicked on it.
I am okay with that, though a clue and more than 4 clicks would have been better.

    ReplyDelete
  27. thanks SD. I may try it again later.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I admit the cross has no clue, there are hot spots that change, and it's not the first time I have done the cross like that. :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. SD, yes, I played through again and noticed the hot spots this time. Sorry -- hadn't finished my first cup of coffee yet! :-P

  30. I love SD games, but this one was short. Still enjoyed it

    Thanks SD

  31. and map is far right, not far left!

    ReplyDelete
  32. well, my game wasn't fixed yet, so I had to rely on Dazz's spoiler
I didn't like that sort of game very much (SD for MC), I prefer either the cartoon ones of SD/MC or then the «real» asylum ones - this one had too tiny stuff for my taste & loads of rooms with nothing in it - thx anyway SD/MC for a fine game ☺

  33. The piano C,E,G,B,D,F,A is still not working or what am I doing wrong

    ReplyDelete
  34. This is a poor example of a Melting Minds game. Many rooms with nothing in them and tiny items to find. Too short and too boring. Sorry but I'm not going to be fake and say "thank you for a wonderful game", how does that help?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Sometimes a quickie game is best. I see no reason for complaints here.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I JUST played and my book said EAFBGCEDA but the piano only opened for CEGBDFA, which I never would have gotten if it weren't for the spoilers here, and still don't understand.

    ReplyDelete
  37. K Stevens----thank you for the clue to the letter chest. I hate to admit that I would have never figured it on my own! Nice game, SD! Thanks----

  39. By far the absolute worst Self-Defiant game
