    ReplyDelete
  7. Funnily enough I found out about the painting and saw the quote from that!

Well, it's gotta be something to do with the writing, but I can't see how the blue and white letters are significant.

meat by name, meat by nature must refer to Bacon.

Time for bed for me. goodluck

  14. Oh man, I'm so behind now. Well, had other things to do, but now I can spare an hour or 2. So, last I was on was the beatles help fat man question. 16. #43 - Is it Eminem's godchild? I've tried the names of his daughter and adopted daughter. Can't find any other related child.

    ReplyDelete
  17. lizardly:

purple pills -> band -> film -> character (the pic is a maggot) -> actor -> famous godchild

    It's a bit convoluted!

    Has anyone done 49 yet?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I need some help with lvl 25 - I've tried to cross reference the names of the people who have been to the moon with the initials around Jim Carrey - but not all of them match up.

Could someone give me the source of their answer? I think mine must be faulty.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hello again!

    I'm completely stuck at 48.
I know the word and I know the other meaning of it but now I have no further idea and the already posted clues don't help me at all!

    ReplyDelete
  20. wb Das!

If you have the "sporting" reference to the word, look back at the symbols again. The answer is only one letter!

    ReplyDelete
  21. oh, lol, thanks!

Oh, the next one seems to be very tough too...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Dem, thanks for your help on #43. I found the actor (N/CH), but I cannot find a godchild no matter how I google it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. lizardly are you sure you have the right actor? Who loves ya babby?
Maybe you should ask your Friends...

Das, how did you do 49 so quickly!!!!!!
    Help!

    ReplyDelete
  24. still need help with 41, is that a $50 bill, I can't figure this one out.....pleeeeaaaassseee help

    ReplyDelete
  25. 49 isn't that tough.

You know who made the picture and now think of somebody who had the same name as the artist.
And then remember that the text at the picture is a POEM...

    ReplyDelete
  26. For 50 I only got that the symbols stand for planets and that there is the Great Telescope on the Canaries but I don't think that this might be helpful.

    ReplyDelete
  27. anyone out there, please help on 41. whose home team????????

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks Das, it was easier than I thought.
So Happy has gone missing and all the other dwarfs have a planet associated with them

    ReplyDelete
  29. #49 hmm it seems to eluding me again...

I got the painting artist >>> to his long ago relative >>> to ??? I understand that its a POEM but I dont see where his relative did anything with poems.

    Wookie B.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well, I didn't even see that one was missing. lol

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wookie, F.B. had a lot to do with poems...maybe he wrote some of the most important poems or plays ever...or maybe it has been somebody else. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Das, I know the controversy over FB vs WS. I guess what the main problem is, what is the actual question being asked for the answer. Im lost when I get to FB. I look at the authorship section, but stuck.

    Wookie B.

    ReplyDelete
  33. you just wrote the answer Wookie. Try the name you have.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hmm Ive tried FB,WS and most of the other ppl listed in the authorship section over the controversy. it didnt accept any of them :(

    Wookie B.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Das and Dem, thanks for the help, I knew that answer, but I didnt try just the last name figuring that it was his whole name.

Thanks for the loads of hints, Onto 50 and beyond...

  37. Sebbie, try googleing man and moon, and you should notice something...

    Wookie B.

  38. Any ideas for 50?
All I know is that Happy is missing at the picture, every dwarf is associated with a planet,
there are so called dwarf planets,
but I see no connections to canaries excapt of that Telescope at the Canary Islands.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I can't stop thinking of Pluto.
It's a dwarf planet and the name of a disney dog. I can't see any other links to canary.
There is one dwarf missing and 4 planets not used.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Pluto was my first idea too!
But after reading lots of articles about this planet and the comic dog I cannot find any link.

    ReplyDelete
  41. thanks wookie, but I think I'm having a dumb day! I'm not noticing anything :(

Could you elaborate a little more, please (not too much, as I do so like to come up with the final answer myself)?

    ReplyDelete
  42. #50 hmm the canaries angle... Canaries are yellow. and there are such things as yellow dwarfs. our sun is one I believe. also there is a french fairy tail called the yellow dwarf.

Interestingly enough, in the picture, the left most dwarf, is grumpy, and his symbol is the sun.

dunno, if thats the right track of not as it stands now the dwarfs are as follows:
    starting on the left,
    Grumpy the sun
    sneezy mercury
    sleepy mars
    bashfull venus
    doc jupiter
    dopey saturn

    the missing dwarf is Happy.
    missing planet symbols:
    Moon
    pluto
    uranus
    neptune

    hope this helps...

  44. Earth is missing too, if it matters.

    ReplyDelete
  45. sebbie, ok, do you notice any simularities between the circles of the puzzle and the list from google 'man moon'? some order perchance? initialy you might be stumped, but once you see whos missing, you can figure it out by checking your answer on the table.

    Wookie B.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Dem, according to my list, earth is not listed, it goes from venus to moon, to mars skipping earth

    Wookie B.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Dagnammit! This brain of mine just ain't up to the task today!

Anymore little snippets, wookie? Thanks for the help so far, and sorry for sounding so stupid (I'm honestly much cleverer than this usually)!

    ReplyDelete
  48. anyone, please, help on 41, what is the note called? please

    ReplyDelete
  49. Earth is listed on my list from the NASA page as a circle with a cross in it. But who knows if it has anything to do with anything.

I haven't even started thinking about snow white yet...

    ReplyDelete
  50. I got a bit excited when I noticed that The Planet suite by Holst features 7 planets.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I am pretty conviced that Happy should stand for the Moon because it is the only one of the classical planets that is missing.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Can anybody help with level 25 more than wookie already has? I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I've tried what he asked me - the google thing - and I don't see anything that's making much sense on the page.

It's the Jim Carrey picture with the initials in an 'R' shape.

    Please help!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Google which men have been at the moon and compare those names with the initials!!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Das - I tried that, but the initials I've found don't match. There are the same amount, but four of each are different. Is this intentional?

If it is, I still don't see the correlation.

If it's an anagram, I've tried to decifer it and can't!

I know I'm being a little dense, but a bit more help would be appreciated.

    ReplyDelete
  55. NA - Neil Armstrong
    BA - Buzz Aldrin
    PC - Pete Conrad

and so on...and then find the missing initials and then look for another meaning of these two letters...this "meaning" can kill

    ReplyDelete
  56. Das - thanks, but where is the correct list? As I mentioned - the list I was using differed dramatically in names than the initials on the game. If you could give me the link to where you got the definitive list from I'll do the rest.

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  57. I'm pretty sure that you have a correct list. Buzz and Pete are only nicknames and in every list they are listed with their first names. Wiki helps.

    ReplyDelete
  58. According to a list of planets I found, Ceres (a dwarf planet) comes between mars and jupiter. Not sure if that means anything or not.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Anybody making progress on 50? I found a list of planetary metals associated with the 7 orginal planets but that hasn't lead anywhere yet.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Right - got the initials (thanks wookie and das), but now have no clue as to what I need to look for to make it mean 'something that kils' - is it something to do with the film 'man on the moon'? Or would I be right in thinking 'Andy' has something to do with the answer?

    ReplyDelete
  61. sebbie,

Those initials are a SYMBOL for something that kills.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Thanks guys! I do feel a little humbled that it took 3 people to make me just that little bit less-thick!

    ReplyDelete
  63. hints for 50....u need to figure out what dwarf is missing...and the symbol that is missing...combine them and see what you get....

    ReplyDelete
  64. Finally got 50!

You need to take the missing dwarf and the missing planet/symbol, and find a day of the week. Then, you're looking for a band.

    ReplyDelete
  87. ok mikos...so you have the flag and see the mcdonalds symbols represent the states...you see one star which represents a state..u need to figure out what state that is...then you google that state along with no mcdonalds..because the star means no mcdonalds...and then you should see a city...hope this helps

    please !!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  104. lvl43
Google:the colored pill(S), you get a band's name(use wiki)-get movie title-*note the maggot in the picture*-search character maggot-get actor's name then read his biography(wiki) and you'll see the name of the good looking famous godchild(though she's not as good looking as her ex husband)

    lvl28-Highwayman
that picture represents someone who is such a daredEVIL that he jumps over a long line of cars on his motorcycle.

Now can someone help me with lvl44 pls. It's the Nirvana one. I can't concentrate on thigs I'm supposed to be doing coz of this level. Grrrrrr....

    ReplyDelete
  105. it is the picture with the sign which has a man on a motorcycle and a car on it.i hope that will help.

    ReplyDelete
  106. @tanja: Hopefully you got it from there. Otherwise, use an anagram solver to see what those words mean.

@ashlee: Okay. I have never seen American Psycho, but i think that is the movie this is leading to. If it is, is the actor Christian Bale? If so, I can't find he has anyone?? If I am wrong, could you just give me the actor's name? or at least the movie?

    ReplyDelete
  107. thank you julie and ashlie _mar

    ReplyDelete
  108. YW tanja :)

Julie:the movie is "The Dirty Dozen" from the band D12

start with purple pills, you get D12(wiki)=The Dirty Dozen

I hope that gets you on your way to helping me w/ 44 :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. np Julie, now pls. do share what you get for 44. Though it's supposed to be so simple and I know it's just staring me in the face, I just don't get it, boy I bet i'll feel so silly once I finally get the answer. :P

    ReplyDelete
  110. i will... i am working on it!!

    ReplyDelete
  111. 42 anyone? I thought I had the correct answer (olympic torch) but I keep getting "incorrect" Am i missing something?

    ReplyDelete
  112. isn't it "Nevermind" by Nirvana? I still don't know what I'm supposed to look at though.

    ReplyDelete
  113. @slow: not the torch, but what is nepalese for the mother of the universe?? Once you figure out what that is, wiki it to find out how the nepalese would say it.

@ashlee: I got it!! The picture is from a Nirvana album. Google image search nirvana and write down the name of the album. then "look within" the title to "find the rat" :)

    ReplyDelete
  114. I know about "look within" I just don't understand what everybody means. Am I supposed to make a name out of the word "Nevermind?"

    ReplyDelete
  115. Ugghhhh nevermind, thank you, I didn't even think about doing that. I'm really pinching myself right now. Lol

    Moving on..........

    ReplyDelete
  116. @ash: K.. now that you got it (and hopefully didn't pinch yourself too hard), what are you making of 45? i am reading what Wookie wrote:

I put the number 233811181 into a calculator and converted it to Hexadecimal. That spelled a word that made a question... ******* by whom?

I googled that and found something that happened in 1991. I put the guys name in, and doesnt work.

Might be on the wrong track, but hexagons, and hex code...

but I can't get anything from the hexadecimal code... can you?

    ReplyDelete
  117. I'm sorry Julie my brain's just not cooperating. Hope you get farther on, coz for now I have to leave. Happy googling :)

    ReplyDelete
  118. Julie,
If you type those numbers straight into your google search you will come across a weird page that says "defaced"....now...use that word in relation to the question "By Whom?"

    ReplyDelete
  119. Can anybody give me a little help with 46...I have figured out which letter is missing from the 25 bands/artists, but do not know its significance? Please....I need to finish this before my boys get home from school and kick me off the computer! Thanks :)

  123. Can someone please just give me the answer to #35? It's the idiom that doesn't make any sense.

    ReplyDelete
  124. tra - look at the 'face' - now tilt your head.

It isn't actually a face at all. Once you know what it is, you should be able to work out the common phrase, then answer the question.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I don't see an animal! Iv'e been staring at this stupid picture for 3 days. Please, just give me the answer.

    ReplyDelete

I still don't know, what to look for....

    ReplyDelete
  131. Sylvia,

The little picture of the "uncommonly fat man" may help you find the name of the author of that poem. He is also famous for a wonderful children's tale about a little girl and a white rabbit. What you want though is the name of the ORIGINAL author of the fat man poem.

    ReplyDelete
  132. oztiff! Thanks a lot!!
Still don't know the answer, but I found the original writer of the fat and old man.
    *hmm* I'll search further tomorrow.
    Good night!

  135. Excellent game 30nights! It's actually the 1st riddle/puzzle game that I was interested enough to finish. I learned a lot, too. Look forward to the next one....by the posts, I see many others anxiously waiting!!!

    ReplyDelete
  136. Thanks to everyone who has given my riddle a try and congratulations to those of you who reached the end.

Part two is in the works so if you enjoyed this one (and even if you didn't) give it a go when I get it finished!

    Thanks again everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Hi folks! Back again after a hiatus of a few days. Hopefully this time I'll be closer to finishing. Congratulations to those who have finished.

30nights:this game is awesome and I like the fact that the answer box is available without having to do the url thing. By the way, are you thinking of making your own website for your puzzles? Coz if you continue on making this great games I'm pretty sure ur page would have a volume of traffic. If you're familiar with the "Wogger" games, then maybe you can make a page like that, even has a chat window, so sometimes help is just a chatbox away. Would be better than having to go through, newgrounds or nordinho or other game portals for some level help.Speaking of help...

44B the "RATMOBILE" question. I've googled it and all and I'm not coming up with any price. Can someone tell me what source they used? Thanks!

  141. I need a little more help with #50. I know the name of the missing dwarf and I think I've got the right planet symbol. I'm not sure how to get to the day of the week and the band. Is the answer the name of the band with the day of the week in the name?

    ReplyDelete
  142. Thanks Erica! I was short of 5quids :)

    ReplyDelete
  143. Hey tra any hints for #48 (i have been stuck on this for about a day)...and then maybe i can get to #50 and help you.

  145. Erica.

Each picture in middle matches up with a symol. EG: First picture is albatross....what sport uses the term "albatross" (and "birdie, bogey"). Find the symbol to match the picture and then working clockwise around the circle of symbols, find which letter of the alphabet that reresents....that's the first part. Let me know if you then need further help.
    Good Luck

  146. Anyone still playing....I have finished puzzle and am happy to hint. I have just woken up (in Australia) so will be around for quite a while. That's one thing I hated trying to solve this one....everyone had gone to bed when I needed some help!

    ReplyDelete
  147. ok we got that far now... we were having issues with the first picture... now we have that word... where do we go sports? but then when we do that we do not get anywhere...

    ReplyDelete
  148. Erika

Yes...the word which is used in a sport assuming you got the right word with the second letter "u" not "i"...you will find this is a term used in a sport when something happens 3 times in a row. The symbol for this will then apply to the "symbol circle" and you will have your answer.

sorry my answer took so long.....I kept checking back and nothing was after my message....but after I refreshed the page, there was your question!I AM here online for the next few hours, so keep asking and checking back for my replies. I'll keep refreshing the page!

  150. Erica

If you match all the symbols to the pictures - there will be one letter of the alphabet not used (26 symbols)(26 letters in alphabet) of course, you will have to figure what letter is not used

Well gamers....I will be leaving soon to share in the Halloween festivities with my nieces and nephews.....looks like oztiff is out there and willing to help

  156. Goodday every1!!!

I'm in need of a bit more help on lvl 50:

I have Happy as the missing dwarf, but I'm confused on the planet. I was looking at the 7 Planetary Metals. I'm not sure which one is the right one as I'm not getting anything off Google. And I don't understand the "day of the week" & "you get a band" clue. And what is the connection to Canary Dwarf?

    ReplyDelete
  157. @iiix

    Can you help on 46?

    ReplyDelete
  158. nvm lvl 50: got it, was missing an "s" :)

Martin: what do you have so far?

Title is "Record Breaker" so each pix is represented by a band(alphabetically connected). There's 25 of them, and there's 26 letters in the alphabet, which one is missing?

    ReplyDelete
  159. FINISHED...finally!!! What a wonderful cranium workout :) Can't wait for the next one, hopefully not that many ties to bands anymore. And it was too British, no offense if you're a Brit 30nights. Sometimes it was just hard to put things together as I know almost next to nothing about British history. All in all, a fantastic puzzle/riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  182. sorry found it, on the site i was looking at his name was spelt wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  183. WOW! This was a fun game. I locved that every puzzle could be solved purely through logic, rather than any technical knowledge

Thank you to the creators of this wonderful puzzle!

And a BIG thank you also to everyone that took the time to leave clever hints rather than full answers.

I feel proud that I was able to solve each and every puzzle on my own - with help from clues provided by others.

Please can people never give the full answer here. there is no way to mask it for those who don't want to read it. Give a clue or hint and if you don't know how to, leave it to others to do that.

I feel really proud that I got the final answer of each riddle myself and I'm grateful for the clues that helped me obtain it.
