am i on the right track

    ReplyDelete
  2. 63? Is that the one with a picture of the moon? Have you translated what's in the source? Then you want to to wiki the pics names and apply what the source code said.

    ReplyDelete
  3. It will be best to use the disambiguation page.

    ReplyDelete
  4. @skynet

    ReplyDelete
  6. lmao had I known how close my last comments were to the answer I was looking for! I will delete them just in case without knowing it I almost posted the answer. Well after some rest and a fresh brain made it to the temp end.

    ReplyDelete
  9. the problem is that im not even finding that city...

    ReplyDelete
  10. there were a lot of people having that problem, did you get the info off of the saved picture? If so try to copy and paste it into your search. I know that was a problem for some as well.

    ReplyDelete

  12. And is number 60 pigpen? becuase it doesnt look it, (it has a pic of a bionicle...)

Please! I can't undrestend the 24. I know the door b and c, but a is impossible. Someone help me.

    ReplyDelete
  14. On door a you must decode it on www.purplehell.com using the "key" from b

    ReplyDelete
  15. If you decoded it correctly you should be able to find who said it in wiki.

    ReplyDelete
  16. so what is chamber 60 coded with?

    ReplyDelete
  17. the chosen thanks for answer.

All right! But what tool in purplehell? I spend all my day to solve it, but I can't. I'm almost give up.
(Sorry if my English is not well.)

    ReplyDelete
  18. well it would be one where you need a "keyword" and some text you want deciphered. Go to every thing and put in the keyword and the ciphered text until you have the answer

    ReplyDelete
  19. I thought you had that figured out you said the name of it in your last post within your (parenthese) its in PH.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  24. there is only one type of this decoder it begins with b and you mentioned the name of it already in you first question look in ph above the section you are looking at ;)

    ReplyDelete

i'm now looking for a place where someone was killed...

    ReplyDelete
  31. OMG chosen wanna know something funny.. I never saw the bottom LOL just found it by starting at the top in PH! Thats dense!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Catbless
Yeah there was nothing there on my computer. I looked at the source code and that didn't help me any. I just keep hitting dead ends
    ~Casey

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm on some German website right now. I don't think this is right either.
    ~Casey

    ReplyDelete
  35. alliec the code I was talking about was for the chosen who was in 59, sorry if that confused. Are you in 62? I had a really hard time finding that one if you are? Mystery gave me some really good clues on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @casey did you save the pic then look in the props there is something there

    ReplyDelete
  37. omg. i'm so annoyed. i had the right place for 44 but i was spelling it with an S at the end!!! now 45...

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  43. I have already given an example above.

    Here is it again:
    Similar example:
    if it was 3, 4, 1

    _ _ letter _ _ _ letter letter (then repeat the sequence)
    _ _ letter _ _ _ letter letter

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hi mystery, seems I have my brain with me today was finally able to get to the last temp end. Now for more torture LOL hate being the first one in and the last one out but oh well ;)

    ReplyDelete
  45. For 65 are we supposed to speed up the music? I dont have the software to do that currently and before I download something I'd jsut like to know.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @catbless
    Congrats, very well done!
Yes, having your brain with you, will be definitely very helpful for the new chambers :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Can't get the m**** c*** for 65 all help appreciated

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hello Mystery!

need help on second part of 71...

can't find any connection between the hints in source or between the instrument and the person...

    ReplyDelete
  49. @kerg
Just focus on the first two hints in the source, and think about them :)
Instrument and person are not important.

I'm going to let you all struggle on this one for a bit ;)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Mystery can you help me out???
In the m**** c*** in 65 do I need to speed it up? I've listened and written down the amount of times it beeped, doe shte pitch have anything to do with it? I know the sequence... HELP

    ReplyDelete
  51. @the chosen
No need to speed it up.
You need to note down the rhythm, and then decode it :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Well, if you know what it is, and apparently you do (m**** c***), use an online tool, it's also on Purple Hell.

    ReplyDelete
  53. >.<

*bashes head agaisnt wall searching for answer*

    I've tried em all!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. @the chosen
If you like, you can send me an email with what you have figured out so far:
    mystery_egypt(AT)hotmail(DOT)com

    ReplyDelete
  55. Is that really important?

    sorry..

    ReplyDelete
  56. Is that writing on the other side an important clue as well?

    ReplyDelete
  57. @the chosen
    Yes, the most important.

    ReplyDelete
  58. 71, i know im suppose to find the name of the p****, but ive been searching for an hour for its name.
and i dont think it is, but is there a clue in the source?

    ReplyDelete
  59. got through 70 pretty fast, well at least for me hee. Still in first part of 71 not really following it lol but I have learned alot about the image.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I found the name google was friendly but have been going all over trying to follow it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @catbless, how did u find it on google?
ive been looking forever! can u give a hint for what to google?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Google image pic title and paged through. Not really sure the name of it is what we need. Interesting reading though LOL

    ReplyDelete
  63. @catbless, i cant find he image anywhere, ive tried google many times.

    ReplyDelete
  64. 2 ama210:

    it is anagram;
you can find it in wiki - when search for right instrument - and it is a bit older, as p****

    ReplyDelete
  65. @kerg, what do i anagram? im trying to understand what to do the best i can :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. kerg are you talking about the instrument in 70? ama and I are stuck on the begining of 71.

    ReplyDelete
  67. The answer to get to room 71 is the name of the instrument you see in the picture, and also an anagram of your previous answer. Just find an anagram generator on the internet and put in your previous answer to get a new one out. Simple.

Anyway I'm on 71 part two and completely clueless. Any help?

    ReplyDelete
  68. @andrew, thank you so much, ive been searching for the instruments name forever, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  69. What is written on the other side of the bridge in part 2 of chamber 65 (I have horrible eyesight)

    maxseltzer1@hotmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  70. sorry ama thought you knew I was in 71 since I said I was. I assumed you were there with me looking for her;) image.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @the chosen, nothings written on the image of the bridge.
u have to look up what the differance is in the chamber, and how the insect is introducing itself, if i remember correctly.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @the chosen, nothings written on the image of the bridge.
u have to look up what the differance is in the chamber, and how the insect is introducing itself, if i remember correctly.

    ReplyDelete
  73. ok again sorry, guess I dont know where I am anymore, in the second part of 71. Any help anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  74. On another forum 2 people got the answer. Mystery said this as a clue:

"Yes, this is a level where you are going to need your brain a lot.

Focus on the first two clues in the source, and think about them...

I'll let you struggle a bit on that one"

Well, all I know is that I'm struggling a LOT.

    ReplyDelete
  75. @andrew, ive tried to relate the equation with the word she gives us but ive come up with nothing.
    ill keep looking though

    ReplyDelete
  76. @all, this is another hint mystery gave kerg:

    @kerg
Just focus on the first two hints in the source, and think about them :)
Instrument and person are not important.

I'm going to let you all struggle on this one for a bit ;)

    ReplyDelete
  77. I saw that clue to but was obviously thinking I was in the first part of 71 I havent made anything of it yet either.

    ReplyDelete
  78. the only thing i found slightly related to those hints is a city in MI, but it didnt work....

lets do this, when ever we find something, we'll put it up and see if anyone else can make something out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  79. did you also see the t******* in the source?

    ReplyDelete
  80. @All
Hi, great to see you're on it :)

On this second part of chamber 71, you only need your brain, no external tools necessary.

    1) Apply first clue
    2) Use second clue
    3) Answer question from third clue

    ReplyDelete
  81. Hi all, sry for being late.... like anyone cares :p

    ReplyDelete
  82. @catbless, yes ive seen that part of the source, but now that mystery gave us another hint forget bout my last comment :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hmmm guess I didn't fall behind after all

    ReplyDelete
  84. @Mystery are you saying that we don't need to google?.... coz I found a really good article relating the first two clues....

    ReplyDelete
  85. @mystery, after we complete the first clue, do we apply the second clue to it?
and then we will be able to answer the question?

    ReplyDelete
  86. @The Red Serpent
Yes, I'm saying that you don't need external tools. And you won't get far with googling.

But it's always good to learn additional things from articles that you don't need.
I've read a lot of articles about several topics when playing a riddle, which weren't necessary at all, but interesting :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. yah red got through the first part pretty fast for me LOL but then wasted a bunch of time learning about the image. I saw that article to E********* havent made anything of it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  88. @ama210
Yes, as soon as you have understood and applied the first clue, you will need to use the second clue.
This will give you the answer :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. @catbless
Image, person on image, and your previous answer are not important :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. I was speaking of an artical maybe I should seperate the words E**** Q**** very interesting up top but havent figured out how.

    ReplyDelete
  91. ok, so there is more than just solving the first clue, we have to apply it to something....

now i have to find out what :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. @ama210
Do not solve it, take it as it is.

    ReplyDelete
  93. 2 ALL - 71 part 2

    drop out spaces!

    (

    ReplyDelete
  94. @kerg, .....what? lol

can u be alittle more descriptive?

    ReplyDelete
  95. LOL kerg that would qualify me to "drop out" heeee not getting it at all as usual better at decoding than looking for needles I create:)

    ReplyDelete
  96. "Drop out spaces"?? How did you get to this? And I still don't understand what you mean. I feel kinda stupid right now.

    ReplyDelete
  97. 71 part 2:
    I said:
image is not important, person is not important, previous answer is not important.
    Now think...

    ReplyDelete
  98. Do we need to google the first and second clue cuz that is where I am?

    ReplyDelete
  99. @catbless
As I said, no external tools necessary. So google won't help this time.
Think about my previous post... What is left?

    ReplyDelete
  100. ok, i know that the source is what were suppose to be looking at and not using google or anything othe rthan that, but im not understanding how to apply the drop the spaces to it.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Sorry mystery missed your post to red while I was reading a great article about an EQ in china LOL anyway since I had previously thought the frist clue was the last answer I have started over.

    ReplyDelete
  102. @mystery should I take the second clue by what it means or is it a trick?????

    ReplyDelete
  103. @myatery, is the answer a country, city?

    ReplyDelete
  104. I GOT IT!!!

Oh man, that was truly evil Mystery. I noticed something very early on that I should have taken into account, and it relates to kerg's clue. Count how many characters (but not spaces) are in the sentence below. Sorry if that's too much information, Mystery.

    ReplyDelete
  105. @The Red Serpent
Hmmm, that's not a trick, it's a clue what to do after you have applied the first clue.

    @ama210
    No, none of them.

    ReplyDelete
  106. @Andrew
    Evil? Lol :D
Guess your hint is okay, let's say at the upper limit ;)

Now everyone, get to work and solve it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  107. Oh and another thing. When Mystery said that you only need your brain and no outside sources, I would actually suggest having something to write on, say a pen and paper or even just notepad or something. Just so you can see it better.

    ReplyDelete
  108. @mystery I did apply the first clue and I've done it just like kerg and andrew did it but can't seem to find anything to do. dont know how to apply the 2nd clue.

    ReplyDelete
  109. @Andrew
    You are right. ;)
I rather meant no google, no purplehell, or other online tools.

    ReplyDelete
  110. @The Red Serpent
When you have applied first clue, use the second clue with your eyes, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  111. on 72 now thanks andrew your first clue helped a lot

    ReplyDelete
  112. @all, still not understanding the hints, ive made the relation between the first clue and the sentence under the image, buti dont see a reason to write anything down.
    another hint plz :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. @ mystery i get the example but i don't understand how to get the numbers . where do i start counting how do i count them rows or columns?

    ReplyDelete
  114. Well, I'm stuck on 72 now. I hope it's not as hard as 71 was. Grr...

    @ama

The first source clue is the big one. It's not a trick or anything, it's just telling you what to do. Then the next source clue tells you how to apply the clue to what you have left. Remember what mystery said...we don't need a previous answer, nor the image nor google and other outside sources. What left on that page do you have to use? Once you get it you will kick yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  115. @johnathan
Count from left to right for each line separately :)

    ReplyDelete
  116. @andrew, im already kicking myself for not understanding the hints and clues everyone is giving, lol

can u email me with a more obvious clue?
    amoona210@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  117. @mystery should I take the 2nd clue in 72 literally?????

    ReplyDelete
  118. How is everyone tonight? I'm stuck on 70... I've searched page source clue and found nothing.. Am i missing something?

    ReplyDelete
  119. @The Red Serpent
    Yes, very literally.

    ReplyDelete
  120. @GnuGnu
    Welcome back.
Are you in the first part of 70?
You should see sth in the source.

    ReplyDelete
  121. hi all! I'm catching up. I think with others in 72.

    ReplyDelete
  122. been stuck in the second part of 65 for hours. I don't get the clue from the second picture, cant read whats written on the other side and I know whats different but its irrelevant. Help!

    ReplyDelete
  123. @GnuGnu decode the source clue first it will help you alot :) Then you can get 71 cuz I am not LOL

    ReplyDelete
  124. ok don't thin I'm gonna make it to temp end 2day its almost 5 am and my eyes r getting heavy gonna leave it 4 2morrow cyall

    ReplyDelete
  125. @smileePUD
Great to see you have passed the killer chamber :)

    @the chosen
    Still busy with the insect?
Use Google to find that (what you posted earlier on and I asked you to delete it)
And also take into account what has changed to other levels besides the title (c****).

    ReplyDelete
  126. @the chosen, the second picture should have a title. It gives you one name, but wants you to give it the other name is has. A simple google will suffice.

And there's nothing written on the other side.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I know whats been changed, I googled the image text to no avail (an account on youtube lol), and whats different combined with whats in the second picture got me 3 different types of b** familys but that didnt help... :(

    ReplyDelete
  128. can someone email me a bigger hint for 71? very very lost in that chamber.

    amoona210@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  129. @andrew

    the chosen said...
Is that writing on the other side an important clue as well?

    5/1/08 14:59

    Mystery said...
    @the chosen
    Yes, the most important.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I've got the clue from source just have no idea what I'm applying it to. Nothing on google or purplehell unless I missed something which is entirely possible

    ReplyDelete
  131. @the chosen
The answer has nothing to do with insects ;)
Search for something else than the YouTube one...

    ReplyDelete
  132. @the chosen
I was referring to your question, if what I asked you to remove was important. This is the most important thing (how the insect introduces itself)

    ReplyDelete
  133. I got it i didn't even think that was a word thanks for the help :D

    ReplyDelete
  134. I got it!!! guess I shouldve done an image search to recognize the c*****...

    ReplyDelete
  135. @the chosen
Well, I didn't use any letter on the other side of the bridge, so I though they were unimportant, and I couldn't even see any.

    @all
72 part one has got me stuck still! How big is the clue from the thing in ** in the source?

    ReplyDelete
  136. @mystery
For 72, I know what I need to do (the second info in the source) but it is not proving so easy. Is the first info a helpful clue because I think it is supposed to be?

    ReplyDelete
  137. ok, im officially thick. i cant believe i dindnt get that. i was so close to it.... oh well
    thanks alot Mystery!

    ReplyDelete
  138. Ugh, I'm so tired now. I think I'll call it a night because I'm not gonna get to 74 any time soon. Bye everyone, and good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  139. @smileePUD
The first clue is very important, well at least one of the words obviously. Look for a file :)

    @Andrew
    Have a good rest :)

    @ama210
You're welcome, glad you got it now , too :)

    ReplyDelete
  140. @all, for 72, do what mystery said, u have to change something in the url.

its very simalar to previous chambers.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Ok; making it to hard for myself again! I was doing that for words similar and places to do that, but not the word itself. Thanks mystery!

    ReplyDelete
  142. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  143. @ mystery so then it would be 4,3,2,1. for 57

    ReplyDelete
  144. at new temp end...wow 71 was a real killer.

im enjoying them more and more mystery , great job.

    ReplyDelete
  145. thanks ama, thicker than you off to dine. Talk to you all later.

    ReplyDelete
  146. @johnathan
    Obviously. :)

@All who have reached temp end:
    Congrats, very good job!!!
Now you can be proud of yourself :)

    ReplyDelete
  147. Chamber 67,

I don't have anything, some letters in the second pic and thats it, they don't even spell anything...

    >.<

    ReplyDelete
  148. @mystery

On 73, I didn't need to use it, but is there any significance to the text below the image? I guess it could just reinforce the topic, but then it would really just be a source of red herrings. The odd sentence structure implies something more, but solving puzzles that aren't necessary isn't my game today :)

    ReplyDelete
  149. @the chosen

67 is pretty well documented here. You have to do something pretty generous with the URL based on the first code clue plus the second image.

    ReplyDelete
  150. im on 59 and i googled the exact longitude/latitude and came up with nothing need help.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Temp End :D Once again Mystery excellent work

    ReplyDelete
  152. @johnathan

I had to use some other than Google.
Try another mapping site...Also, make sure you have the correct spelling once you find it.I found 2 or 3 different spellings for the sam thing

    ReplyDelete
  153. At temp end and in the speed of lightning of course after a long time sleep.....

    ReplyDelete
  154. I agree red everything is so much more clear after a good sleep. Looking for the second part of 72 was not good with coffee. Thanks Mystery look forward to more brain pain LOL

    ReplyDelete
  155. I don't get 67
I followed the hints in the source, left the castle and landed on a "coming soon" site
Don't know what to do next, feeling dumb

    ReplyDelete
  156. @all. in 66, can someone tell me if i have to save and look at properties to get the n*****? at this point it's the only thing i can think of and i don't know how to do it on my mac. i'm starting to think i will "stay here forever!"

    ReplyDelete
  157. Wahey, temporary end! Being fresh made it so much easier. Keep up the good work, Mystery!

    @alliec
Use your previous answer with the n***** that you get from saving it and looking at the properties (yes, you have to do this), then google the two together and you'll find your answer.

  160. Can't figure out the second src clue

    ReplyDelete
  161. s'alright, I figured it out!

    ReplyDelete
  162. I am still soooo stuck on the 2nd part of 71. I've put the words from the level into ceasars box and I can't see any 6 letter word. Am I blind or what?

    ReplyDelete
  163. @skynet

Mystery said no outside tools are needed...

    ReplyDelete
  164. @skynet

The hint doesn't say the number ONCE does it? Think about how you would represent the numbers as they are written.

You're thinking the right way that the numeric hint needs to be applied to the text below the image. However, you don't need any of purplehell's tools to do this chamber.

Just keep in mind that you'll need to come up with an exact number of letters...so something logical has to go...

    ReplyDelete
  165. @skynet

    Don't use purplehell

I'm also stuck but I've read all the clues given, The most importsnt one is to not use anything other than your brain.

    ReplyDelete
  166. any hints as to what to use to decode what's in the source of 63?

    ReplyDelete
  167. Refrsh my memory of what 63 is

    ReplyDelete
  168. the picture of the moon with a plane in front of it

    ReplyDelete
  169. tried that. nothing. It's the one with lots of | \ / etc in

    ReplyDelete
  170. its on purplehell, maybe just not in the "codes and ciphers" section ;)

    Alphabet translators are always fun

    ReplyDelete
  171. I know, try the 'decode' part

    ReplyDelete
  172. Any help with the second part of 71 would be much appreciated...

Figurd out the first clue, no idea for the second...

    ReplyDelete
  173. It's no good, I've tried everything I can think of - a lot of the non-ciphers want you to strip spaces first, but then why would Mystery have put them in in the first place?

    ReplyDelete
  174. In 71/2 dont solve the first clue but do it.

    ReplyDelete
  175. @cosafina

It is that thing that I put before, you just did it wrong ;)

    @red

solve, did wtv. I figured it out, 'Drop out spaces'. I just don't get the second hint in the src.

    ReplyDelete
  176. @the chosen take a short cut ;)

    ReplyDelete
  177. @cosifina no ciphering is needed everything you need is in the chamber, well you will also be needing a pen and paper...

    ReplyDelete
  178. O.o
    Um...

Should I check wikipedia for this..?

    ReplyDelete
  179. @ the chosen check the previous comment

    ReplyDelete
  180. Hey you're right, though what I suggested turns the /'s into letters as well (by putting them together)

    ReplyDelete
  181. @ the red serpent

lol, I guess it applies to us both..

    ReplyDelete
  182. @the chosen what do you mean??????

    ReplyDelete
  183. @the chosen

so you've figured out the first clue. So you've got the letters/punctuation in a certain format?

From there the second clue isn't completely necessary...you could just stumble upon the answer as the only useful word that comes out of the format you put the characters in.

However, the second clue does save you some of that hunting time as it is telling you what to do to find the answer once you've set up the letters in the format of the first clue.

    ReplyDelete
  184. @ the red

Your advice (to not leave the page)applies to me and cosfina.

    @ jb

Everything is in a certain 'format' thanks to kergs clue from yesterday "drop out spaces"

The next answer is in this sentence (aha!)

    Much appreciated

    ReplyDelete
  185. @alliec

I've read all hints here, but no idea
I changed the url and stucked on a "coming soon" side, don't know what to do

    ReplyDelete
  191. @the chosen if you applied the first clue correctly you should take a short cut as I mentioned earlier. you can do this by only using your eyes no other tools are needed one you've figured it out ignore the third clue its just an extra.
