ReplyDeleteI'm where you are, cazoob. I see a key that I can't reach, dirt under a stool that I can't clean with the hankerchief (I thought I needed to use water first on it), and something under the bed I can't see or reach. Also got the 3-letter code from the TV. Haven't used it anywhere yet.

ReplyDeleteI've only used one key so far and that was one that was locked away. One key is for the door, the key with the keychain I'm not sure what it's for yet.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I didn't have much problem with the calendar. If you click the bottom right corner like cazoob said, it will flip up. If the light is on, you won't see anything, if you turn the light off you will see something.
So far for hints I have:

ReplyDeleteDiane..a hint for the strongbox..plz...i got the calendar thing..found the wierd looking object..and it gave me a word..but thas not working in the box..is it supposed it..also letters from t.v arent...this game is kinda buggy for me..have to click stool like ahundred times to get it to zoom in..ugh.

ReplyDeleteThe word from the "Cartesian Diver" is the password for the stronbgox. Just make sure you specify "Word", use the arrows to move to the next letter, and use red button to open!

This is what you are given:
C = 3
R = 12
G = 10
B = C + M
You can deduce that:
G = C + Y
K = C + M + Y
M = 12 - Y
Y = G - 3

ReplyDeleteWalkthrough (Normal) 5/5 ending:
ReplyDelete-Click the door and then the wastebasket.
-Click around the right rim of the wastebasket. Get puzzle piece (1).
-Click to the view of the desk.
-Open top left drawer and get note G=10.
-Click 2nd drawer and get silicone mitt.
-Click the bottom of the pen holder until it tilts forward. Get the syringe.
-Click the calendar and turn off the light.
-Click the bottom left corner of the calendar until it flips up. Note the figure.
-Click on the bed and the package sitting on top.
-Open it up and get the battery (1).
-Open the window shades and click the window.
-Get the key w/ keychain on the windowsill.
-Click under the bed and note that there may be something there.
-Zoom back in on the window and click on the wall between the shades and the pillow.
-Lift the pillow to get the note C=3.
-While at the same screen, click on the floor to get the pen. (I'm not sure if you have to click on the shade to open and close it a few times to make it fall).
-Go left and click on the statue's left hand (the one that was pointed to in the diagram beneath the calendar). A glass object will fall into the dish.
-Click right box on the 2nd shelf and get the puzzle piece (2).
-Click box on the bottom shelf and get battery (2). Use the mitt on the canister to get the puzzle piece (3).
-Click the lower left side of the shelf to get the puzzle piece (4).
-Go left to the view of the TV.
-Click the bottom right corner of the shelf to zoom in twice. Get the puzzle piece (5).
-Use the batteries on the remote control to turn on the TV.
-Note that there is the puzzle under the table that you are completing.
-Click through the channels until you see one that says "Let's Escape!!". Note the shape that the figures make MKY.
-Click on painting on the wall and get the blue hankerchief.
-Go back to the view of the cactus. Click the pen holder until you get a top view of the pen holder, DVDs, and cactus.
-Use the syringe on the cactus to draw out excess water.
-Use the blue hankerchief on the water to dampen the cloth.
-Click the bottom of the stool and then the top of it to look underneath.
-Use the damp cloth to clean off the dirt to get C=B+M.
-Click the top of the chest of drawers to view the phone.
-Pick up the phone to get the puzzle piece (6).
-View the glass item on the bookshelf and turn it over.
-Use the syringe on the glass item on the bookshelf with the statue.
-Use the glass filled item on the platic water bottle on the desk.
-Click in the middle of the bottle to make the Cartesian diver, dive.
-Note the word "sesame". This is the password to the strongbox on the bookshelf.
-Click the red button on the stronbox. Click the blue button to enter the password as word. Use the arrow left button to move to the next letter. When you've entered in the word, hit the red button.
-Get the note R=12 and the screwdriver.
-Go back to the close up view of the desk drawers. Click on the wall under the desk and see the metal plate attached to the desk.
-Use the screwdriver on the screws.
-Get the key with red ribbon and puzzle piece (7).
-Use the red ribbon key on the bottom drawer of the desk. Get the backscratcher.
-Use the screwdriver on the bottom of the open drawer to get the puzzle piece (8).
-Go to the view of the door and click on the space between the wall and chest of drawers.
-Use the backscratcher to get the key.
-Go back to the puzzle under the desk and use the pieces on it to complete it.
-Now for some code cracking. If you don't want to crack the code to the door, it is 5157. (See below for way to crack the code).
-Before you leave, put the key w/ keychain in the dish on the bookshelf and throw the memos in the garbage. (If you forget this step, you get an imperfect end).
-Put the code in the door and then the small key in the keyhole.
-Open the door. If you click the door that you just opened (NOT in front of you), there is a note from your girlfriend that tells you to lock up).
-Click your shoes and then the door ahead of you and you're out! (But she dumps you a few days later!)
-If you forget to leave your keys in the dish or discar the memos in the trash, you get a less than 5/5 ending.

ReplyDeleteNo, it's not the dish that you need to turn upside down, it is the glass item that looks like a guy holding on to a bulbous tube. Turn it over so you can fill it with water.
