    ReplyDelete
  52. Just a baize card table i think Calc :o(

    ReplyDelete
  53. and the top half is a finer grain than the bottom half

    ReplyDelete
  63. I found that "B=2 ... J=10 that is reduced to 1" (http://www.crystalinks.com/tarot.html) but I can't seem to enter the numbers together or separately for a correct response.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Way to go Calc! Awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  65. boaz jachin works...when will this end

    ReplyDelete
  66. so i was kinda right whoooo!! My brain is still working then :-P

    ReplyDelete
  67. This little piggy?

    I tried "went to market"
    "Stock market"
    and just "market."

    ReplyDelete
  68. vk...good call..bear/bull market

Not sure where to take that yet

    ReplyDelete
  69. red polish on toe may represent operating in the 'red' when the market takes a dive

    ReplyDelete
  70. whats with the red toenail? ive tried animal fight, westle, bull bear!

    ReplyDelete
  71. the red toe nail may mean a sign of blood, the toes are fighting and animals fight??

    ReplyDelete
  72. There are no companies with "red" or "toe" as their ticker symbol on the stock list. :(

leslie: the clue hints at a "market" as does the bull and bear symbolism. Not sure if the red is a clue or just an effort to make the feet look different.

    ReplyDelete
  73. red----china, red/blue chip stocks, blood, revenue loss...who knows??????????????

    ReplyDelete
  74. ok, i'll try and google that and see what comes up, thanks hun xx

    ReplyDelete
  75. The answer should be "stocking feet." But it isn't. Heh heh. Oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  76. The bull and bear look like they're sniffing the cuffs of the jeans.
And yes, I'm really reaching for clues now.

    ReplyDelete
  77. ive got nothing coming up except animal markets lmao (do i want to buy a bull) :-|

    ReplyDelete
  78. In market terms, a "Bear Market" means that stocks are falling, and then, rising in a "Bull Market".

    ReplyDelete
  79. Maybe the bear and red could refer to the Soviet Union, as they are both symbols of it.
    Now, how about the bull?

    ReplyDelete
  80. A bit of a stretch.... but the bulls and the bears are chicago sports teams, maybe it has something to do with the chicago board of trade?

    ReplyDelete
  81. You's guys have so much patience and as my boyfriend keeps telling me i have none! lol, my backs killing. I hate the person who made this game because its so addictive :-D

    ReplyDelete
  82. skizz, you made me think outside the box, too. maybe the constellations taurus and ursa major or urse minor share a star between them (since the toes cross)

    ReplyDelete
  83. I googled "bull symbol" and found it to be Spain's "Symbol of Power"
    hhhhhmmmmmm
Anyone know of any market events between Spain & Russia?

    ReplyDelete
  84. Think of the flirting game that the two people are playing. It is the nickname of a stock market.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  96. @cygnus

    ReplyDelete
  97. hmmm notice the spelling of 'colour'. not sure if that means anything

    ReplyDelete
  98. Polar bear fur isn't actually white.

    ReplyDelete
  99. ok... thanks ashlee. now onto 45a

    ReplyDelete
  101. 44b its very clear and easy

    ReplyDelete
  102. @cygnus, 44b is not exactly a color, it's as TRANSPARENT as a crystal

    ReplyDelete
  103. ashlee what number you at and can you give me a hint at 45a please?

    ReplyDelete
  104. 45A drawn by Benjamin Franklin

    ReplyDelete
  105. 45A, Some early American history here, I recognize all states except F.D., this could date the newspaper it's in.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm past the bear color question. My question for 44B is about Chick Hicks' (Pixar movie) sponsor.

    ReplyDelete
  107. 45a. ..could those have to do with the american east coast?

    ReplyDelete
  108. Don't know if links work but here's where the game maker got the image:
    benfrankin300
Some info on that picture, but I haven't solved it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  109. ...right. that was redundant. lol

    ReplyDelete
  110. This is strange. The Ben Franklin question was my last question.

    ReplyDelete
  111. the date the newspaper was printed was may 9, 1754, but it doesnt work

    ReplyDelete
  112. cygnus, what do you mean? Did you solve the severed snake puzzle already?

    ReplyDelete
  113. where are you at cygnus?

    ReplyDelete
  114. Good! Can you help us figure it out? :D

    ReplyDelete
  115. Look at the difference between the state abbreviations on the photo compared to the original. (jonesy is on the right track) Think about what that abbreviation stands for (one of Franklin's inventions) Find it's original name.

    ReplyDelete
  116. woah. had to search that one. did not know what the original FD was.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I'm afraid I'm going to need more help. I've found pages and pages about his inventions, but nothing with the initials "F.D." Closest I've come is his Franklin stove."

    ReplyDelete
  118. i got that to vk, on the origanial its a p and not f.d

    ReplyDelete
  119. Are you with me now, emilie?
Are you at the question about Chick Hicks?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Oh. I got it. *feels sheepish* Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  121. emilie i dont know, any more hints on 45a?

    ReplyDelete
  122. nar, got it!! never mind

    ReplyDelete
  123. I am cygnus. I'm sorry it's not 'hostile takeover bank', that was funny. I'm guessing there's a real 'HTB' somewhere?

    ReplyDelete
  124. Huhn... htb gets "What does htb stand for?" But when I put in "Hostile Takeover Bank" I get a "not quite." What gives?

Is there another meaning for that acronym?

    ReplyDelete
  125. what? am i seeing things?

    ReplyDelete
  126. htb spelled out not working =/

    ReplyDelete
  127. Needing more help with 26 A, I don't know who the punker/rocker is to be able to figure it out. Been stuck here for quite some time.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Welcome to my little corner of hell everyone. I've tried every possible version of Hostile Takeover Bank including misspellings. I'm stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Hierarchical Token Bucket doesn't work either. :\ Nor does Holy Trinity Brompton, to my shock. lol

    ReplyDelete
  130. after a day and a half of this, I think my lateral thinking is broken

    ReplyDelete
  131. 26 A Rocker + 47 + Flag. I'm still stumped. I know it's a country in africa. What is the rockers initials? I've tried all the countries to no avail.

    ReplyDelete
  132. grace, give us the Level Code, and I'll go have a look.

    ReplyDelete
  133. grace: rockers initials + number = something

unusual thing to find on a flag

    ReplyDelete
  134. grace, try an african country beginning with 'm'

    ReplyDelete
  135. ...and why is the question number 44B again?
Is that an error or a clue?

    ReplyDelete
  136. Thanks Jonsey, it's whistlecock.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Finally, got it, thank you. Still don't know who the rocker is. hehe

    ReplyDelete

  178. thinks chemical element. they both share the same nickname.
