  12. Think we need someone who understands science.....

  13. found ONE thing, through trial and error. virtual domains - the bottom figure is 15 and the light goes purple. no idea on the ones above and when you back out it resets. cant find anything anywhere that refers to 15......

  14. I don't do math.

    ReplyDelete
  15. ok i got green light on fuel creation and captured voltage......

  16. Cathy, do tell how

  17. oh hi all, i'm 17tyh! wow! (protest 3 against the first, but go you julia) play later, feel free to post all the walk through if you desire!!! wink wink nudge nudge!

  23. maxi.s - right country, wrong side!!!

  24. on the fusion reactor controls - right side. temp dial aroun 3000 and pressure 38100 you get a green light coming underneath. but no idea what next!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Im not even trying to figure it out any more, just punching in numbers.

  27. I used 15, 15-3, and 15-3-1 for the virtual domain. Mixed hydrogen+ hydrogen in the fusion reactor, the deuterium+deuterium and the last one was hydrogen(or deuterium)+tritium. You just need to adjust the density to around 150.000 kg/m3.

  28. Wow xerth, Im impressed.

    ReplyDelete
  29. And out! Man that was somewhat different from the usual escape games.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I can't figure out what the one under "Ground Level (N=1)" is supposed to be? Any help, please?

    ReplyDelete
  31. did you see xerth's above you, is that the one?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I can't figure out the last one, think Im going to bed.

    ReplyDelete
  33. See - this is why I need help! I did that for the stuff above it and didn't think about it being the same for BELOW it! ^_^

    Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm done, but I haven't left yet - which one did you need help with?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Please!! how can you find the last number????

    ReplyDelete
  36. @xerth & joycrux

...would appreciate if anyone of you write a walkthrough and probably inform us how you came up with the figures.. thanks..

    ReplyDelete
  37. 15-3-1 and 15-3 dont give me a green light so if i go back it disappear help?

    ReplyDelete
  38. desiree had the same problem, just keep on clicking the square unless the light becomes green =)

    ReplyDelete
  39. uh! and start from the bottom!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Chiara thanks that did the trick!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. has anyone figured out how to find the last number??? the one you have to write under the "ground level(N=1)"??

    ReplyDelete
  42. and i'm out thanks guys for your help!

    ReplyDelete
  43. you have to look at the nummers above it

  44. Uncomplete Walkthrough
    1. go to the fuel creation and insert 1 0 1
    2. go to the capture voltage and put -13.6
    3. go to the virtual domains and insert 15, 15-3, 15-3-1 (keep clicking the square - you need all the buttons to turn green)
    4. go to the fusion reactor controls and put temp=3000 and pressure=38100, then mix hydrogen+hydrogen
    5. change cause you need density around 150000 and mix deuterium+deuterium
    6. again, density around 150000 and deuterium+tritium
    7. ???

    ReplyDelete
  45. thanks desiree was so stupid!! i was trying everything but didn't think about this!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. me to untill i tought lets try it and it worked

  48. sorry for my english, i'm from holland.

i can read but can't write sorry

    ReplyDelete
  50. why? your english is ok!!! i can understand everything that you wrote!! thanks again =)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Gosh, this was really hard!
Thanks a lot for your walkthrough, Chiara, I would never have been able to get out without it!!
Hope to see you all again soon!

    ReplyDelete
  52. i think the end is frustrating... i'd expect some happy ending like "melvin and his girlfriend beat her ex-boyfriend in physics class" or something :-P

    ReplyDelete
  53. lol, nice idea, gewittermond...

    ReplyDelete
  54. I just wanted to add some notes to the walkthrough from chiara (she beat me to the walkthrough):
    1. when you are facing the virtual domains and you put in the numbers directly pushing the button does nothing, just use the up and down arrows once or twice when you've put in the numbers and then try again.
    2. when facing the fusion reactor controls use (temp/prssure):
    - hydrogen+hydrogen: 203.100/2.500.000
    - deuterium+deuterium: 203.100/1.250.000
    - deuterium+tritium: 203.100/1.000.000

    ReplyDelete
  55. TYVM Chiara for the walkthrough,
    couldn't do it without it,
but how did you get those numbers ?

The only thing i've seen was
    2-1:0.75IP
    3-2:0.14IP
    4-3:0.05IP

Did you start with that ?

    ReplyDelete
  56. 1531 are the numbers that you've inserted before in the virtual domains above =)

thanks xerth a lot, couldn't do it without his help!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Weird... I don't think entering random numbers should count as an "escape". Gimme a screwdriver!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Mieke, I used
    2-1:0.75IP
    3-2:0.14IP
    4-3:0.05IP
when I got the the first number by trial and error. It is a little bit far fetched and I'm sure it's not the correct solution but it worked.

The first number was 15 or 3/4*20,
the second was 3 or round about 1/7*20 and
the third was 1 or 1/20*20.

  59. this game sucks. if i wanted to so physics, i wouldnt come to this site. I hated that at school! how can sbdy create a game with that??? some sick weirdo

    ReplyDelete
  60. just started...Mighty Melvin isn't the only one who's lost and confused!!!!! lol!

Alice: thanks for the chuckle..."death would be better than this game"...echoed my sentiments (or voices screaming in my head) perfectly!!!

dang...just my luck; my uncle has a PhD is Physics and my father taught Science...and my best subject in school was English Lit!!! Oh well...here goes nothing. Thank goodness for the power of posting....well, into the abyss I jump!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. does the kg/m3 have to be an even 15000? because i can't seem to get it..help

    ReplyDelete
  62. well I'm out and yes...I cheated; without those WT's I would still be randomly selecting numbers!! Thank you Xerth & Chiara!!!

Xerth...I understand how you got the fractions for the 0.75IP, etc numbers...but I'm still working on how you figured out the number 20 you multiplied the fractions by... All in all, I did think this game was kinda neat but I want to understand how to logically figure out the answers! I'm weird that way...sigh!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Thank you both Xerth & Chiara for the big help and explanations ;
what a gr8 team you two make !!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. @irishenigma: I didn't figure it out. As I said in a previous post, I got the first number (15) using trial and error and then tried to put this number in some relation to the numbers written on the board. It worked, but I would like to know the whole story behind the numbers myself. I'm sure I'm missing something because I didn't use the all the information given in the store room.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Xerth: going crazy with lcm and gcd, but can't find the reason of that 15... hope not to spend the whole night in here... so please if you (or anyone else) figure it out please let me know!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Sorry, I am not going to even attempt to play this game....too much *#*! which involves math and science knowledge. NOOOOO thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  67. should be on the "mensa" game page!
even with the walk through, too much work and not enuf fun. didn't even try. gimme some trash cans and screwdrivers!:) sorry:(

    ReplyDelete
  68. Not that this makes it any easier, but this entire game is based on the equations for fusion reactions.

That being said, it really did come down to random information.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Did not like it. Too boring.

    ReplyDelete
  70. anyone noticed the Store room?
