    ReplyDelete
  60. (first time posting, thank you for all your previous help!)
The A=15, x= etc. refers to the number of times you find those letters in the names of the countries.
With this *sort of* information in the abc cabinet, you'll get one country and the missing A.

    ReplyDelete
  61. There is a yellow piece in the picture in the kitchen

  70. Ok, got a mathematical quiz on the map. Brazil=6 and so on

    ReplyDelete
  71. thanks vbranam 1. So many A's in these countries!

    ReplyDelete
  72. When you finish the map you get an equation with a four digit answer, I'm presuming for the red safe..howver my math skills only yield me a three digit number :(

    ReplyDelete
  73. did any 1 find where 2 use the red key?

    ReplyDelete
  74. To clarify the equation:
xx means the x value two times. So if x=2 then xx=22 and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  82. lol..Yvon,too much for me also..Didnt have enough coffee this morning

    ReplyDelete
  83. 726 this time..another three digits...also tried to use the numerical value for each country with the color code (mexico =6, uruguay=7, etc) to yield 67769878 but that doesn't work on the door either

    ReplyDelete
  84. I think my calculation don't go well on sunday's. I have 36??

    ReplyDelete
  85. go Tanja go.

    ReplyDelete
  87. 726 for me, also. Hmmmm.....

    ReplyDelete
  88. Hey Kerrie,

Guess you miscounted. second last country is Chile.
Then the code works (or at least it did for me (color-code)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Got the color code ok, but the door didn't open. It's the numbers of how many letters in each country.

    ReplyDelete
  90. It's not Bolivia, it's Chili - 5 letters!

    ReplyDelete
  91. haha...same time posting!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  98. Anyone figured out the four digit code

    ReplyDelete
  99. Has anyone gotten the 4 digit code? Several people (including myself) have gotten 726, but that isn't it.

    ReplyDelete
  100. @Lis, thanks for the Bolivia tip, but I can't get anything no matter how much I clik!

    ReplyDelete
  101. click on and around the lemon on the left middle row

    ReplyDelete
  102. Thanks for the color code all..It says OK but nothing happens

    ReplyDelete
  103. Well, we found a little mistake and we're already uploading the corrected version.

    The formula should be:
    XX + (Z*Y) + 2(YZ*XZ) - Y + (YZ*Y) - Y square = ????

I'm really sorry about that. We need more beta testers for the next game :P
You were right. It was 726 with the wrong formulation.

    ReplyDelete
  104. There is a trap door in the map room if anyone hasn't found that map piece yet.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Oh, duh duh duh, I have Bolivia already it's Paraguay I'm missing! Geography is not my strong suit!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I cant get the fridge door to open

    ReplyDelete
  107. i got 2826, but not working
    try again

    ReplyDelete
  108. The answer to four digit code is 726, or at least with the math I know. I tried 0726 but didn't work. Could there be a mistake in equation or is my math wrong? (There's many years since I've studied that..)

    ReplyDelete
  109. got a screwdriver, but where 2 use it???

    ReplyDelete
  110. Thanks Cafe Cafe, should we play "new" version, or maybe we're stuck in this room forever........

    ReplyDelete
  111. Thank you Kerenusha,,that worked for me too

    ReplyDelete
  112. Ah thanks! Now it works.

    ReplyDelete
  113. works now just figuring where to use the screw driver!

    ReplyDelete
  114. out,, Thanks karenusha, you're code worked for me.

    Use screwdriver on door hinges.

    ReplyDelete
  115. The code is the same for both versions of the game.
All you need is correct formulation. You won't need to start again if you use this formula:

    XX + (Z*Y) + 2(YZ*XZ) - Y + (YZ*Y) - Y square = ????

    ReplyDelete
  116. check out the hinges on the door

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thankyou Kerenusha, now im getting somewhere xx

    ReplyDelete
  118. @Arturo TNX!!! out too. tried 2 use it on the cow picture...

    ReplyDelete
  119. what a difference a multiplication vs. addition makes!

    ReplyDelete
  120. OUT!

    tnx everyone!
(and cafe-cafe for posting the right formula!)

    ReplyDelete
  121. Thanks Cafe_Cafe - good game!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Thanks all..That was a great little fun game..

    ReplyDelete
  123. Out we goooooo! Thanks for the correction. Would have been quit difficult without it.. ;o)

    ReplyDelete
  124. Does anyone know where I can find Chile?

    ReplyDelete
  125. great game--despite the technical difficulties!

    ReplyDelete
  126. is anyone still here? the link won't work for me

    ReplyDelete
  127. @LAH: if I remember well, Chile is in the left white drawer you have to open with the blue key.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hello i am late...
Screwdriver doesn´t work on hinges and i even cannot put it back, it is stuck at my mouse pointer.
    Any help ?

    ReplyDelete
  129. actually it loads but when i click play it just won't work

    ReplyDelete
  130. Anyone was able to find the relation between the code and the site where the game is published ? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  131. Great game Claudia and Cafe-Cafe. I actually learned a few things about geography! I have to wonder, though, why did we need a code for the door if we were going to take it off its hinges??? (lol, just a little escape-gamer humor, there).

    ReplyDelete
  132. somebody post the link pleaaase

    ReplyDelete
  133. oooh another challenge!!! we need somebody smart on this (i.e., not me :D

    ReplyDelete
  134. Still missing the 3 countries across the top of the continent. I saw the hint that said they are only one piece...any clues as to where?

    ReplyDelete
  135. zoz said...

    ------
    Indeed :)
We never played a game yet where you took out the hinges of the door. Even when the screwdriver is a staple.
We figured it could be funny to do that for once :)

    ReplyDelete
  136. i thought this wasn't live then i refreshed and realized i missed 50 comments!

    ReplyDelete
  137. @mimie, this is what works for me:

    ReplyDelete
  139. @Sunshine RR4, use the red key on the cabinet under the cow pic

    ReplyDelete
  140. I will give up, my screwdriver doesn´t work :(((((
    CU at the next game.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Thanks zoz....off to look for red key.
Only had blue green and white so far.

    ReplyDelete
  142. @Cafe_Cafe, and I was sooooo sure we were going to need a screwdriver to take the cover off the kitchen fan. Very good "gotcha" on your part.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Can't find red key.
Read all the posts, clicked everything red I could find, am now sticking my head in the oven! Help please:)

the code was 4276, which was derived from
    XX + (Z*Y) + 2(YZ*XZ) - Y + (YZ*Y) - Y square = ????

and the website is JuegosdeEscape.net and the link is
    http://www.cafecafegames.com/games/1583/maps-escape.html

I'm obviously missing something (I usually am)...

    ReplyDelete
  145. oh....found it. ABC cupboard, fridge, red key.

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  146. @SunshineRR4, red key is in the refrigerator, which you open after getting the "A", which I think you get from the "abc" cabinet after entering 1545

    ReplyDelete
  147. Number 75 - I don't think that's right. Mine says z=5, y=7, x=2, a=15 but when I counted the letter in the countries I got z=2 (venezuela, brazil), x=1 (mexico), y=2 (paraguay, uruguay), and a=15 (only one that was correct for me).

Anyone got the answers for the ABC cabinet?? Is it different for each of us or is Anne correct????

    ReplyDelete
  148. @peepod, its' the number of a's (15), b's (4) and c's (5) in the country names

    ReplyDelete
  149. @zoz:
if A=1, B=2 and so on... that would be (maybe) too easy so I decided to add another number.
    A=2, B=3...

    4276 is CAFE :)

    ReplyDelete
  150. Thanks zoz :)
@Peepod...I'm stuck where you are. I used the code 1545 for ABC cupboard, but I can't figure out why. My numbers are the same as yours.

    ReplyDelete
  151. xyz are for something else...a=15 helps to get B and C --enter ABC code into ABC box

    ReplyDelete
  152. I GET IT! lol
I was hung up on the X,Y,Z. der.
    Thank you so much

    ReplyDelete
  153. Ahhhhh, thank you Mr or Ms (or Senor or Senora/Senorita?) Cafe_Cafe. Now I can sleep tonight!

and here's a question for cyberspace: why am I sometimes "zoz" and sometimes "zozkatz"? I'm the same person, but all the little 1's and 0's in cyberspace play games with my name!

    ReplyDelete
  154. Thanks for you help zozkatz zoz! I'm out too, and I understand why!

Thanks Cafe_Cafe for the game. What a pretty pink screwdriver at the end-just for us handy girls. lol

    ReplyDelete
  155. finally outtttttttttttttttttttttttt

    ReplyDelete
  156. I was reading only lolz
coz i dont know alot about maps

    ReplyDelete
  157. I can't use the red key anywhere, it remains stuck to the mouse cursor !

    ReplyDelete
  158. When you're left with the equation on the map (once you've found all thirteen coloured pieces):
    xx+(z*y)+2(yz*xz)-y+(yz*y)-y{squared}=???
    the answer is: 4276

    ReplyDelete
  159. answer for refrig...please, yes got A

    ReplyDelete
  160. anybody still here i still need 1 bit for map cant find it its the 1 beside the green blue and yellow bits not very good at geography so dont know what country it is

    ReplyDelete
  161. Hi, i cant start the game :(. clicking on "credits" or "start" does nothing. had anybody else this problem?
