  1. OK, so I think we covered all numbers!
As I feared, we probably need to do something besides just typing the number there. Maybe we need to input it, then something happens in the room that we need to look for?

    ReplyDelete
  2. I've also tried typing each of the given codes, then looking around the room, but I couldn't find anything new.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Also thinking that since box doesn't have a check button, we are missing something.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I did find out that after you press the button with the car, you can remove the spring with the clippers and the car still works in the box.

    ReplyDelete
  5. @atapth, this is the kind of thing I meant... We must do something else besides typing the number.

    ReplyDelete
  6. And I have accidentally clicked the water!

Argh! Restarted and now I can't find the darned wire!

The gods of pixel hunting don't smile on me anymore...

    ReplyDelete
  7. Connie, I agree! That's not good!

    ReplyDelete
  8. SS Feline, almost did that a moment ago

    ReplyDelete
  9. if you click on bottom right corner of shelf under glass, there is a spot that if you use screwdriver the wall moves, but nothing more/ Maybe something don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lol, @atapth! Like we say here: pepper on somebody else's eyes doesn't hurt! Go ahead and laugh at my misery!

    ReplyDelete
  11. The clippers/nippers was located there. The screwdriver retrieved it.

    ReplyDelete
  12. haha, since yesterday and still live?
I will try to find the answer with you

    ReplyDelete
  13. With vieuw on door , above right arrow : it says "cannot reach" if you use stick or car.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Brad, in the spot you mentioned, click with screwdriver and you find nippers.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @tosca, if you find out what's on that wardrobe, we'll all kiss and hug you! We know there's something, but it's still a mystery!

    ReplyDelete
  16. well, i have no idea. I've clicked everywhere with everything under the trash can, but nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm in the same boat as you feline, going home soon so will check back later

    ReplyDelete
  18. Xenon? "Finished"? Rescue us, please!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. 8064=2^7*5^0*3^2*7^1
and 2537 are a clue for the passcode.
Enter passcode and put away the car.
Then turn the box you will find a key.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Xenon, I don't understand your symbols...

    ReplyDelete
  21. I had a hard time to find the wire :(

    ReplyDelete
  22. I found a picture on a Brazilian site of the 'exposed' wire hole. Shame they didn't post a picture of where the friggin pixel is, but I digress. Anyway, in case any future escapees are wondering if they found the hole or not, it looks like this pic:

    http://i44.tinypic.com/xmsxoy.gif

    ReplyDelete
  23. R C, I clicked the water by accident and now I don't find the frigging wire! Booo... :( The gods of pixel hunt have had enough from me!

    ReplyDelete
  24. In order to get wire just click around whole wall 20-30 times. Then black hole will appear.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Xenon: I don't understand the code?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Xenon can you explain how you came up with the passcode? Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  27. and out.... but I don't understand why?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Xenon, thanks for tip, but that doesn't work for me...

What about code? Can you help others more than you already did? Because it's hard to understand the code the way you posted it. :D

    ReplyDelete
  29. (((((hugs for feline))))) sooo sorry!!!!

xenon, "click the wall 20 to 30 times" LOL!!!!! I clicked 2000 to 3000 times!

but seriously, you are way smarter! You figured the code!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sorry Xenon, I have clicked that damn wall at least 500 times!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks, Xenon! By the way, did you know we tried ALL numbers? We knew there was something else we needed to do! Lol!

    ReplyDelete
  32. R C, I feel your hug! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm out. Knew we were missing something. Thanks Xenon, Feline and all who helped.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Booo... You're out and I'm stuck on this wall, trying to find the #@* wire for the 5th time!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Out, a very unsatisfying finish.

    ReplyDelete
  36. xenon, please, HOW did you figure that code?

    ReplyDelete
  37. R C, still stuck on wire, or did you get out like the others? (Hopefully!)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Xenon, we would really like to know how you figured out the code! Please, enlighten us with your wisdom!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Resolve 8064 into prime numbers.
    8064=2^7*5^0*3^2*7^1=2*2*2*2*2*2*2*3*3*7
    2 is used 7 times
    3 is used 2 times
7 is used 1 time and
    5 is used 0 time.
Rearrange the number of times in order of 2537.
    You will get 7021.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @feline, xenon is right...it's not a pixel hunt just click ALL over the zoomed-in view and it will appear.

@xenon, pleeeeeease tell the workings of the code.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Xenon, for me, the problem is that I don't understand the symbols you are using... Is it dividing and multiplying?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Martin, maybe it worked for you, but I swear and cross my heart: I've found this wire 4 times and none of them was like this. Maybe I'm cursed...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Connie, can you please explain the symbols in Xenon's explanation to me?

    ReplyDelete
  44. I mean "Integer factorization".
    * is multiply :
    ^ is exponential
    2^1=2,2^2=2*2,2^3=2*2*2,2^4=2*2*2*2...

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well, Xenon, thanks anyway! I mean it: many thanks! I'm not out and maybe I never will be, but for all other players I thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  46. xenon is a genius. I would have never ever figured that.

and sadly, no, I have not found the elusive pixel. seriously, though, I have clicked all over that friggin wall. I'm thinking that there might be different areas that you can zoom into, although they all look identical, only one has the wire hole. If you're looking at the wall next to the shelf, you can click a large area to zoom. Maybe you're not zooming one spot. Maybe you're zooming different spots that all happen to look the same. Maybe my 2000 clicks were on the wrong part of the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Xenon, lol! I could never think with such knowledge and cleverness! I would never have figured out this code!

    ReplyDelete
  48. ok, I really am off this time. Thanks again and goodnight all!

    ReplyDelete
  49. In comment 45 Xenon takes 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x3x3x7=8064
    2=7 times
    5=0 times
    3=2 times
    7=1 times

    ReplyDelete
  50. Connie, thanks! That makes much more sense to my tiny brain!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Mine too. I hate finishing a game without knowing the "how's and why's".

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sorry for my bad English. Maybe my English is another puzzle.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Xenon your AWESOME....we would still be stuck if it wasn't for you....thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Xenon, lol! But no: your English is good! The problem is my tiny brain!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'm glad you're out, Connie! I am stuck trying to find this wire for the 5th time! But the gods of pixel hunting are tired of me...

    ReplyDelete
  56. If anyone is interested you can visit here..

    http://www.analyzemath.com/Calculators_3/prime_factors.html

    Nice work xenon!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. feline, I just tried clicking around the wall and it worked again for me and I think it was 20 clicks, not fast and all around the wall and the wire just appeared and I was no where near it.

    ReplyDelete
  58. A spring ?... what spring ? I have a wire that doesn't fit into the stupid toycar !

    ReplyDelete
  59. A spring ?... what spring ? I have a wire that doesn't fit into the stupid toycar !

    ReplyDelete
  60. Pascale, you need to wrap the wire on the screwdriver (middle of it), then use nippers on it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Martin, I'm glad for you! I was so close, so close to escaping... But don't you think this is really not good for a game? I mean, what's the point of torturing the players like this? It seems a lack of good ideas in the author's head...

    ReplyDelete
  62. This game is frustrating. The only things I have found by myself were : toycar, screwdriver, and drinking poisonous water...

    ReplyDelete
  63. Pascale, you're welcome! Are you out already?

    ReplyDelete
  64. No, I'm not out yet ! I don't understand what Xenon explains (why does he start with 8064 ?)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Pascale, the hints for the code are very... well, too few, IMHO. But there's an 8064 in inner part of door of yellow cabinet.

    ReplyDelete
  66. And there's "8=2 2 2 " and "13=13" on bottom part of white wardrobe (zoom there from door view).

    ReplyDelete
  67. At side of the wardrobe, that is, not front part.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Feline, you are right ! I bet I have clicked here at last 20 times and didn't see anything !
Even if I had seen this 8064, I would not have found the code by myself.
Pixel hunt + confusing code = a boring game.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm out, but this game was too difficult for me.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Pascale, I agree! I swear, if I knew programming, I'd make a much better game! Well, it's not hard to be better than this one...

    ReplyDelete
  71. Ok what do you do after you enter the code? I put it in but when I back out of the screen I get the toy car back and the door is still locked. Grrr.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @sarsmi, put the code in, get the car back, zoom out, click blue box (not lid) and you should get a key from it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Ahhh thank you. That was driving me nuts!

    ReplyDelete
  74. xenon u r the best, ty every1 for all the input in this game, i was stuck for 3 hours in the room

    ReplyDelete
  75. xenon u r my wonder women and ty all for the input in this game, and all the funny post. since i was stuck with all of u, in the room as a silent parner in every1 misery

    ReplyDelete
  76. thanks a lot xenon, i was working in the mean time so didn't pay attention anymore.
You are very clever finding this one, i'm good at finding clues and screwdrivers, but this math is too much for me.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Oh My!!! I solved this password yesterday, but I didn´t get the car back, just tried the door and chairs, and cabins, and so on... When I saw nothing changed, I suposed my theory was wrong.
    Pitty I was so close!!!
    Thanks Xenon!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I wanna add a trick to find the hole in the wall. I had no success in horizontally clicking, i randomly clicked around the area..it's like make a big circle then the tiny black hole just popped. It really saves your time because i only did like 10 clicks. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  79. is anybody still playing? or you are all now in the mental clinic knocking on the wall? cause I feel like I´m gonna get to one soon... still no hole after hours of clicking, can someone help?

    ReplyDelete
  80. I like math hehe:)
As for wire there is no hot spot in the wall. Don't try pixel hunting nor mad fast clicking.
Click slowly but click around all over the wall. A black dot will appear after about 20 clicks.

Henrique, I agree with you. I'm also stuck long time.

    ReplyDelete
  81. How to get the wire in 8 clicks:

Imagine the wall is divided into 9 sections, like a tic tac toe grid.

    Click each box in order
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    7 8

When you hit 8, the hole will appear.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Bryan, you are my hero of the day...your hint finally helped...thank, ya, thank ya, thank ya

    ReplyDelete
  83. Also, you must have the wire cutters in your inventory for the hole to appear.

    ReplyDelete
  84. This has to be the worst game I have ever played! Soooo frustrating!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Thank You Xenon for box code...Took a long time to find that post amongst all the comments, so for new players::::

    Xenon said...

    passcode :

    7021

    ReplyDelete
  86. Hi e1...hope I'm not too late....again!!!! Hi Feline! Hope you're still here!!! And Xenon...how bout sending some of your mathematical genius my way....lol! I can figure stuff out to a certain point but get overwhelmed with too much info sometimes...glad you are here to bail those of us who are "mathematically-challenged". Having a problem getting in this game....I get an "oops...link appears to be broken" message. Going to try to find another way in...hope someone is still here!!!

    ReplyDelete
  87. that was a friggin HARD game! that equation was on the tip of my brain - I was thinking it my be something like that but it took soooo long that I wasn't even trying to figure it out I just combed the comms for the answers. I feel kinda bad because if I had kept going with my logical thinking - I might have come up with that whole 2x2x2x2x2 thing. AH well, but we shall never know. Thanks for figuring it out for us Xenon. It was just too frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I think the hole finding is different for some players I clicked from left to right and mt hole appeared just before i reached the left tip of the top of the arrow almost to the tip the hole appears almost in the middle its the size of a straight pin head but very visible

    ReplyDelete
  89. thank u all players and their help espicially Xenon & Feline i'm finally out llloooonnnnggggg game :(

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm finally in...and now e1 is out...waaaa!!! Oh well. Hope to catch up with you next game... :(

    ReplyDelete
  91. Cant play the game, is there an alternative link?

    ReplyDelete
  92. @alkmar...I had the same problem and tried to get in through another website. Don't know what changed (maybe too much traffic on site?) but I finally got in. Try refreshing several times and/or play another game and come back to this one. Finally out!!!! Thank you to Xenon for passcode. Dang these primes....grrr! Understood the logic once you posted it but never would have thought of this option if you hadn't posted.
@feline....faxed myself a double, Petron with lime!!! haha!!!

    ReplyDelete
  93. cant play the game neither :( any help??

    ReplyDelete
  94. Bryan, light of my life, sunshine to the rain, what can I say???? After countless hours stuck in this mental ward, the slow torturous prison that is Escape from Dream Room 6, I am freeeeeeeeeeeeee! I can see a WIRE!

Seriously, folks. I tried every single suggestion. Clicked slowly, clicked a circle, clicked randomly around the whole wall, every single suggestion of these 500+ postings were tried over and over and over and maddeningly over again. Fast, slow, methodical, random, you name it. And Bryan's suggestion worked the very first time!

Super thanks to everyone who found it and gave me hope to hold out (especially feline), but I do owe my undying gratitude to Bryan! It's people like you that share their knowledge that make these games worth playing. Thanks again.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Wow-look at all the comment re :frustration. I came back, but quite frankly don't have the interest to start again.
I also dislike when the code weighs sooooooooooo heavily on being able to do intricate math.... not my thing.

anyway glad someBODY finally got out!

    ReplyDelete
  96. I had no trouble playing last night, but now it won't load. And finally, someone got the code! Kudos!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Hi all...have been trying to play for hours now, but the game just won't load. Question is: did I really miss something good? Looks like it's been pretty frustrating for ya?

    ReplyDelete
  98. I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble getting it to load. Most of the game was solved pretty early, but no one could figure out the code. Finding the wire was really frustrating, too. I was hoping to play through to the end today since some brilliant mind finally got the code, but I guess it's not gonna happen.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Won't load now from any site.

    ReplyDelete
  100. ginger, you did NOT miss anything! The game was seriously frustrating. Certain objects were only found when viewed from an awkward angle, there were small clickable areas that didn't make sense, codes were hidden in areas that would easily have been overlooked by any seasoned escaper, there were several red herrings, there was a maddeningly pointless and ridiculous wire hidden in a wall that gave no indication whatsoever as to where to click, or even any hint that something was there, and the final code was clever, but a bit too advanced for most of us. I think the only reason those of us who stuck it out did so was because it was live, and we weren't "in it" alone. But to try to decipher the info you need from all 500+ posts when you can't just ask someone? Not worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  101. It finally loaded and I was able to complete the game. I feel much better now....

    ReplyDelete
  102. After you put codes remove the car get a blue and your out

    ReplyDelete
  103. please anyone walkthrough?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yessssss, last !!!!!

For those of you who still care, after the spring is attached to the car, it can be placed at the back of the water-box, and a button is pushed, after which you can input the code. Code appears to be (so don't look any further if you don't want to know)...............................................................................................................................7021
For the life of me, I don't understand how one should come about it, at first 2537 seems like a prime indeed, but then it appears to be the factor of 43 and 59. Now 7021 can also be divided by 59, but that's as far as I came...

    ReplyDelete
  105. And of course, I thought y'all stopped after comment 200 (didn't realise there were 216 more comments). I really have to get the hang of this posting buzz, but anyway, I'm still chatting here alone, all by myself..:-)

    ReplyDelete
  106. ok, reddc, this is for you. And for any future escapers who didn't read the previous comments about how frustrating it was, this will hopefully spare you the hassle we went through!

    WALKTHROUGH

First Screen, staring at the Door:
    - click the left-most edge of the pink cabinet on the left to see the stick. grab it
    - click the bottom right side of the white shelf on right for clue (8=2x2x2 and 13=13 this is a hint that a later code will have something to do with prime numbers)

    Yellow Cabinet:
    - pick up toy car
    - click top of cabinet (from the view where you find the car) to reveal the screwdriver taped to the top inside
    - click the bottom inside of the cabinet's open door to see clue (8064)

    White Shelf:
    - click bottom shelf to zoom, then click the back right edge with your screwdriver to open a hole and find nippers
    - back out of the view, and click the wall to the right of the shelf
    - in the zoom view, think of the space on the wall in a 3 by 3 grid, like a tic tac toe board
    x x x
highlight your nippers, and click the areas in this order:
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    7 8
a hole should open up, and you can grab a wire (super thanks to Bryan for pointing this out!)

    Assembly Time:
    - use About Item on the screwdriver
    - highlight wire and click middle of screwdriver
    - click tip of wire to wrap it around the screwdriver
    - highlight nippers and click wire/screwdriver to get spring
    - use About Item on car, click front to see hole
    - highlight spring and click hole to insert

    Back Wall:
    - zoom at table to see clue (2537)

    White Shelf Again:
    - click white box on right side of highest shelf. It's filled with water.
WARNING: do not click this box randomly, or you'll end up drinking the water and dying!
    - highlight car and click water to wash the tires (they don't move because they're dirty)
    - highlight screwdriver and click the bottom of the box, (where it sits on the shelf) and it will say "I insert to space. Space become larger" then click the same spot with the stick highlighted to move the box
    - place the car in the opened slot
    - push the car with your stick (it pressed the button hidden behind the glass on the shelf below)
    - back out of view and car is returned to you
    - click top of blue box on left side of shelf
    - place car over the four small holes, and now you can change the numbers

Final Code (super thanks to Xenon, without whom we'd probably all still be stuck!):
    8064 = 128 x 9 x 7 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 7
they want to know how many times each of the numbers in 2537 is used
    2 is multiplied 7 times
    5 is multiplied 0 times
    3 is multiplied 2 times
    7 is multiplied 1 time
so your final code is 7021
    - zoom out of box, car returns to you
    - this time don't click the lid, click the middle of the blue box to see the compartment with the key
    - take key to door, and you're out!

    ReplyDelete
  107. I'm out... only took me 1 houre =) thanx everyone for your help

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thanks a lot R C that's great.
