ReplyDeleteIf you knock the skeleton's head off, you can plug in the tape player and play the song. The boy will stay in the chair. Pick up the chopper and shoe lace. Combine them with the rib bone and use it on the boy.

For the plates, I think you have to be facing the wall beside the bed when you set them to get them to glow; i can't think of anything else I did differently before I finally got it to work. And for the flashlight/plate trick, you do have to face the wall with the bloody handwriting AND have the lights off AND have the flashlight AND move the ring on the plate. Finicky little game, this one.

You have to move the chair in front of the bookcase and it has to be moved as far as it will go to work. the other plate is in the padlock box. And I thought for a while I had lost the second plate, but it was on the left side of my inventory and I was only looking right. I think this is 123bug game in disguise

ReplyDeleteRuff, but note that for your flashlight to work on the plate, the plate must be glowing. Separate steps... First make the plate glow, then, while facing the wall with red writings on it and the lights off, point the flashlight to the glowing plate (that shall be on screen). Maybe you need to turn the plate to the oldest person's sign before it works, I don't know.

ReplyDeleteCatalyste, the keyboard notes include the black keys. From left to right, whenever there's a black key, you count it (white, black, white...).
ReplyDeleteMy plate started to glow after I clicked the right zodiac sign in clockwise. Starting with the Capricorn at about 9:00 clock (I think), then turn right on Virgin clock at around 5:00 / 6:00 and then again to the fish/Pisces at around 12:00 clock.

ReplyDelete@Catalyste, I think you are confused by the colour of the keyboard keys. Just disregard whether the key is black or white. Count the keys from left to right. Each key, no matter it's black or white should be counted as one number.

ReplyDeletebet, look at your notes again. They give you clues as to solving the plates and revealing the map.
ReplyDeleteFirst: note all the clues that have I, II, III on them.
I is the Christmas card.
II is the picture frame.
III is a diary page.
After noting all the dates, find your page with the zodiac signs and match those dates with their respective signs.
After you've done that, in the order the clues were given, and in a counter-clockwise motion (that's how I did it), turn the dial from the first clue, then second, and third. The plates will glow.
Turn off the lights, use the flashlight on the plates and a map will show.
I even turned off the lights in the other room-lol!!!

ReplyDeleteIf the flashlight disappeared, then just click in an area around the plates to make them disappear. The map will stay there until you turn on the lights.
the map is noted in your notes and it should also show in the middle of the plates initially after you've solved the puzzle.

Thanks, now I've got it. It was my mistake because I didn't go through the door with the three keys. I went back in the room where the wardrobe stoods. I thought, I couldn't go in the other room, so I didn't try it again. Thanks for all your help and hints..
