found hair and finger print on bottle tap. cant do anything else.
lifted a fingerprint off floor heater and got a shoe print on floor. don't know about the puzzle in the drawer

oh that far left thing in our inventory made my game freeze when i clicked it.
i can line up the green lines on the puzzle to look like, maybe initials? or a floor plan? but can't do anything with it.

nvm, i had it, i just didn't click the right place to open it, doh
found and took 3 hairs. found and took 3 finferprints. found and took photo of shoe print. and still i failed to collect enough evidence. what to do with that first thing on top which is given?
did anybody try to go out? answer yes if you have enough evidens?
just missing the last hair specimen anyone know where it is i got the 1 from towel and the plant??
annaby, move the lines so they meet , kind of looks like a J and a U if you turn your head to the left. sorry I can't explain it better.
just connect the lines for the puzzle

The first thing in the inventory is to check the fingerprints for a possible match.
THING ON THE LEFT IS FOR MATCH FINGER PRINT.
WHERE IS THE 3RD PRINT ? ONE ON BOTTLE ONE ON HEATER AND ??

pathfinder, can you tell me where you found the third hair. I found the one on the towel and the one in the plant ontop of the dresser.
got it. once you match the fingerprints on the machine you can leave with enought evidence.

Nevermind, I found it. The third hair is on the lamp in the corner. click near the lower right of the shade to zoom in on the pull cord.

I found it at top of bottle. I can match only one. I go out.
Re: the puzzle, you just need to arrange the lines so that they all connect smoothly. I don't discern any real shape to the solution -- they just connect. Oh, and btw, there's something other than the coin-things in the box.
Can anybody explain how to "lift" fingerprints? I can make them appear w/ the duster thing, but I don't see a way to capture them.
Capture they with the tape and then with the first thing in inventory.
Thanks cecepons -- that explains why I couldn't do it -- I don't have any tape. Any clues on where to find it?
At right of drawers. On floor.
Nevermind -- finally spotted it.
tape is on the floor between chair and lamp, i think.
You have a fingerprint scanner (click the picture in the inventory to open and close the about item view of it), a UV light, a fingerprint duster, a baggie, and tweezers in your inventory
Click the towel on the left wall (to the left of the left lamp stand)
Use the tweezers to get the hair
Use the UV light on the dark pink spot
Back up
Zoom in on the right desk drawers
Open the middle one and get the camera
Zoom in on the white dresser and get the tape from next to the chair in that view
Also, click the second drawer from the bottom and see the puzzle box
Connect the lines in the box (they will look a bit like the letters J and U when completed if you tilt your head to the left)
left column should all be vertical, the rest should all be horizontal with the lines linking
Click the front part of the box when all the lines are smooth
See the dark smudge in the upper right corner of the lid?
Use the fingerprint duster and then the tape to capture the fingerprint
Back up 2 times
Zoom in on the heater to the left of the desk
See the faint red on the floor between the heater and the lamp base?
Use the UV light there
Take a picture of the footprint
Zoom in on the round white switch near the top of the heater
Use the fingerprint duster and tape there for fingerprint number 2
Back up 2 times
Click the bottles on the right side of the desktop
Use the fingerprint duster and tape on the top of the larger bottle
Click the fingerprint analyzer in your inventory
Click each fingerprint tape and place it on the dark part of the analyzer
One will be a match
Click the fingerprint analyzer in your inventory to close that view
Back up
Click the pull cord (just under the shade) of the lamp by the white dresser
Use the tweezers to get the hair
Back up
Click the plant on top of the dresser and get hair number 3 on the top right leaf
Back up and click the chair in the right corner
Click the door and leave
