ReplyDeleteok, so I can get the rope which was the thing in the pool with the jets of water that we previously couldn't get. This is a rope which goes on the roof in the dive pool room - hope I'm not committing hari kari!!!

with the beakers I found all temps downstairs - two in the colour bath room and the other two were; plain water pool and sand with the water coming down from the roof and click to the left of the stairs.

one gives you the exit the other allows you to go back into the game. from the closing scene I would guess to get a perfect end you have to complete several tasks.

1. replace shower head 2. clean drain (till it sparkes) where we got shower head from upstairs under mirrors. 3. clean drain downstairs (till it sparkles) 4. clean mirror downstairs 5. probably the water bowl and collecting the drips (or something in that vicinity)

ReplyDelete@kez, you need to get use the thermometer to test the waters and get the correct temperatures for the colour beakers according to the coloured note. All temperatures I found downstairs. I found two in the room with the three coloured baths, one was from the square clear water pool downstairs. And the final one was from the sand where the three water jets are coming down from the ceiling, click to the left of the stair handles.
ReplyDeleteIf you did everything you're supposed to(cleaning, fixing and such) all your items will be greyed out and used and when you use the rope to escape you should get an end where the old man thanks you and you use the onsen...

Turn rifht from the bubble pool to the right when facing the sauna. Sand colored water =43 degrees.

@kez and crromig - you should have four pitchers, a color-coded card with four numbers, and a thermometer. Poke around for water at the appropriate temperature (the mint and lavendar pools in the small room, outside, and in the pool with the falling water - you can get a view zoomed in on the metal railing, it's the 43 degree water)

ReplyDeleteno, it's used on the shallow pool (that's on screen where you click to get to the green button). You need to walk according to the kanji (i think it was forward, forward, back, forward, forward, forward, back, forward, forward)

ReplyDeleteoh, for whoever gets to the walkthrough, I just tested it, and the blue button is what causes the two pitchers to appear upstairs, and allows you to get the thermometer.
ReplyDelete@Jason - It takes a lot of Japanese to be able to read this stuff - I can barely make out a fraction of the words. I just use an online kanji dictionary to figure this stuff out as best as I can. I'm glad you got it. Night everyone, I'm done.

ReplyDeleteThe card is on the top white shelf. Move left once you get downstairs and zoom on the white shelves to the left in the view. Zoom once more on top of it.
WALKTHROUGH, 1
ReplyDeleteKnowledge of Japanese is essential to understand the game, but not to play it and escape. For that you mostly need luck and a good clicking finger.

Click on the blue sign to start the game. To read the dialogue click on the small white flashing ”hot plate” text box in the lower right corner, below the game. To skip the dialogue click on the bigger brown not flashing button in the lower right corner of the game.
There is a way to skip the first part of collecting items and go directly to escaping. Click on the brown ”hot plate” below the inventory, and chose the left alternative. You’ll get lots of things in your inventory, but let’s not play it that way!
All you have got when you start is a list in your inventory that says:
Shower head, tube for washing your face, shower cleaner and soap (thanks @Rin).
Start by collecting these items.
- Zoom on the round pool, take a bowl from the water. Zoom out.
- Zoom on the triangular pool in the left corner. Take a bottle of shampoo. Zoom out.
- Click on the + sign by the shampoo to view it. Click on the top of it to open and get a purple note from inside that says: "origin of onsen". (An onsen is a hot springs resort. Thanks @Rin)
- Zoom on the door. Click on the carpet to lift it up and get gloves. Zoom out.
- Zoom on the left part of the grey sofa to the left. Take spray cleaner. Zoom out.
- Zoom on the door and exit through it. Click on the flashing ”hot plate” to see what’s happening. After seing that you get a hose.
- Zoom on the shower to the right, and then again on the floor. Open the grid of the drain. -- Use the spray cleaner in the black hole to see a cog. Take it, using the gloves. Zoom out twice.
Turn right: two pooles.
- Zoom on the pool with sand colored water. Zoom again, on the back part of it.
- Take the soap. Zoom out twice.
Turn right twice: showers
- Zoom on the dark grey ”carpet” on the floor. Note that it is a pool with something inside that you can’t take. Zoom out.
Click on the middle arrow to move forward: rows of showers.
- By the left row of showers you can see a black drain close to the floor. Zoom on it.
- Use the gloves to take a shower head.
- Use the spray cleaner to make it sparkle.Click on the left arrow to zoom out.
Use down arrow
- Note a shower that doesn’t have a shower head (first from the right).
-Put your hose on this shower.
Turn left and zoom on the stairs.
- Click on the end of the hose. The caltrop on the stairs disappear and you can walk downstairs (click on the curved arrow).
WALKTHROUGH, 2

Turn left: shelf/showers/door.
- Zoom on the white shelves to the left.
- Click on the top shelf and get a color paper. Zoom out twice.
Click on the middle curved arrow to move forward: 4 showers
- Zoom on the black drain in the floor to the right.
- Use the spray cleaner to make it sparkle. Zoom out.
Turn left: rows of showers.
- Zoom on the first mirror to the left. Use soap to clean it. Zoom out.
Click on the curved arrow to move forward: grey pillar.
Click on the curved arrow to go back to the row of showers to see them from the other side.
- Take a note showing the black drain upstairs, with an arrow pointing at a bottle to the left of it.
- Go down twice and right four times to return to the stairs. Move up.
Upstairs
Turn left and move forward: rows of showers.
- Zoom on the black sparkling drain.
- Lift the left blue bottle (as in the hint paper) and take a yellow key. Unfortunately you drop it down the drain.
- Click left, down, left to get to the stairs. Go downstairs.
Downstairs
Turn left, use middle arrow and zoom on the black drain to the right.
- Take the yellow key, using the gloves. Zoom out.
Move left and forward: gray pillar.
Zoom on the door to the left. Use the yellow key to open it. Exit to the outside pool. Take the pincers from the left side of the sceen.
Move down three times and turn right twice: sauna door.
- Zoom on the door.
- Put your bowl down to the right of the door, where the water drips from the ceiling.
- Enter through the door.
- Use the pincers to take the hot white key from the water.
- Go down and zoom on the pool to the right of the sauna door.
- Put your hot key in the water to cool it. Zoom out.
Turn left and zoom on the door.
- Use the white key to open the door and enter.
- Take a red beaker and a green beaker.
Go down twice and turn right: sauna door view.
- Click on the gray wall to the far left in this view.
- Place your cog in the wall and press it to open a panel.
- Place your purple note on the hook and click on it to make it go away. Zoom out.
Turn right.
You can now see three water jets coming from the ceiling.
- Take the note. The lower row of signs consists of two words (thanks @Xenon):
前=forward =F
後=backward =B
Which gives the directions: FFBFFFBFF
Turn left twice: shelf/showers/door.
- Zoom on the gray wall to the far right in this view.
- See a blue button, press it. This button makes the water level in the pool upstairs (with something on the bottom) go down.
- Zoom out, turn right three times and go upstairs.
WALKTHROUGH, 3

Turn left.
- Put the shower head from the inventory on the shower that lacks head (the right one).
- Zoom on the dark gray pool on the floor. Click on the thing in the water to get a thermometer. Zoom out.
Turn left twice: two pools.
- Zoom on the light blue pool.
- Take a yellow beaker and a blue beaker. Zoom out.
- Turn right and go downstairs.
Downstairs
Your next mission is to fill your four beakers with water of the right temperature. Use the color paper in the inventory to see the temperature needed. You have the thermometer to find the right pools to take water from. If you fill the beakers wrong by mistake, just press the blue button to empty them.
Red =39 degrees = The purple color bath (inside the door in shelf/shower/door view).
Green =43 degrees =turn right when viewing sauna door, zoom on the left side of the sand colored water to see the warmest part of this pool.
Yellow =23 degrees = pool to the left of the sauna door.
Blue =41 degrees = The green color bath (inside the door in shelf/shower/door view).
When you all liquids collected, move left from the shelf/shower/door view.
- Zoom on the gray wall to the right to see a green button.
- Press the button.
- Pour the colored water in the right holes.
- Press the button again and the panel closes. Zoom out.
- Zoom on the shallow water pool in the middle of the sceen.
- Press the brown text box to see an exercising girl.
- Make her move by pressing the forward and backward arrows, like in the clue you got from the paper by the water jets. Zoom out. This made your legs strong enough to escape (thanks @Xenon).
Turn right twice: sauna door.
- Zoom on the pool to the right. Take the rope from the bottom. Zoom out.
Turn left twice and move forward: grey pillar.
- Zoom on the door to the left. Exit through the door.
- Zoom on the wood ceiling.
- Put your rope in the wood. Click on the rope to get up.
- Click on the wall in front of you. See two text boxes.
- Chose the right one to return to the game and the left one to jump (the way to escape).
- Go through the door, turn left twice and go up the stairs.
- Go to the door and exit. Click on the flashing ”hot plate” text box.

ReplyDeleteVery hard game, but interesting...couldn't do it without everyone's help. I like these games where you have to think, but some things are not all that logical (rope in jacuzzi, place where shower head was, note in shampoo, etc.) But..still very entertaining game!

you need to put the water out with the beakers first, then you can take the themometer.
you need to find the 4 beakers. these must be filled with water at the right temperature (hint on the paper)43 etc.
you need to check al of the pools with the thermometer and fill the right beaker with the right water. when you have them al 4, you need to go downstairs and click on the right gray wall
(there are 3 walls where you need to do some things)
you push at the wall until you get 4 colours and arrows. put the water in the right (colour) cup under the arrows
then zoom out
that is the last thing i know. i have used everything exept my list and everything on the list is done. i have only 1 empty spot in my inventorylist but i havent got a clue what i must do now to finally get out.
can somebody help me, because i cant find a walkthrough

sorry to hear that. When you open the link to the game you should get a purple game window, with Japanese. The blue sign is to the right of it (with white japanese letters, almost looking like a house).
