Outside there is a scroll in a pilar which goes on the third place where the other scrolls are (inside house) you can click them and i found the right combination by chance, it gave me a "tsuba" whatever this means.
And a stick, a bonsai and a rake...

    ReplyDelete
  19. Filled yoke with water.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Scroll combination is :

    1 sign, 2 signs, 3 signs

    ReplyDelete
  28. Use rake to get keys from Awning

    ReplyDelete
  29. @EnJoy, I got a bucket in the small house on the other side of the water (I think). And if I remember correct the first bucket was inside the big house.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @fey, where did you get the haft?
    @Lorian, what is Awning?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ohh Ellie you may be right :)

Scroll is in the view on the other side of pond looking at the original house (in the right pillar)

    ReplyDelete
  32. fill buckets with water, use keys to open wooden door. pour water in well and get ?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ok, got the keys from using the rake on the roof outside (so that's Awning lol).

    ReplyDelete
  34. And used the keys on the door inside the house. Get out and fill the well with water to get the haft.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Also got rock from well area and put in sand puzzle now if you click them they turn red and you can click another spot and move them. No idea where to put them yet.

    ReplyDelete
  36. where are the haft and the puzzle? have sheath, bonsai, yoke&water and tsuba.

    ReplyDelete
  37. fyi.. a tsuba is a "sword mounting" goes on the end of a sword.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Left with haft + tsuba , sheath and rocks with a plant that can move around. No clue as to the position on the board. Stuck

  42. Strange ...i have got another tsuba by clicking the middle scroll again.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I got another tsuba when I clicked on the middle scroll above the vases.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Can place rocks every other one with plant substituting a rock but doesn't do anything

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm not having much luck here : (

    ReplyDelete
  46. Where did you find third bucket, Fey?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Lol @Ellie...but now i am stuck.
I think we must solve the stone puzzle to go ahead.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I guess we all have a sheath, a haft+tsuba and a tsuba, and we need the order for the rocks and bonsai.

    ReplyDelete
  49. got pattern from walkthrough but dont understand it. Out

    ReplyDelete
  50. I cheated at the end TEEE HEEEE...Bye all

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  55. Out. Looks like second tsuba was just a bug.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Maybe there is no third bucket... I guess it's a missunderstanding.

    ReplyDelete

    I cannot see a WT.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Rock pattern is the japanese kanji for katana

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks @acvcnos3. I googled kanji and kantana. Turns out to be the sign on the scrolls... The one that appear on all of the scrolls.

    ReplyDelete
  65. And I didnt google kantana, I meant katana! Sorry for typo :(

    ReplyDelete
  66. @Zazie, you get a video if you click on the HELP,
but the pattern is like this:

    0X0XX0

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  69. lol @Zazie! Welcome out!!

  70. Yes sometimes it is better not to think too complicated.

    ReplyDelete
  71. That was it :
    http://japanese.about.com/library/blkod198.htm

    ReplyDelete
  72. Now that end puzzle was somewhat weird.
I sooo know my kanji and how to form them on 6x4 grid :) not :(
    Otherwise no complaints..

    ReplyDelete
  73. I think the url i postet above is a good site to learn japanese lol.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thanks @Zazie, I'll start studying now. Count on me in the next "build-kanji-signs-with-rocks-and-bonsai"-game!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I can't fill my buckets with water. Where did you do that? I'm clicking everywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  76. heidi, did you hang your bucktes on the bamboo stick first ? (combining in inventory)

    ReplyDelete
  77. @Zazie
    Followed the link.
Now.. I'll try to make あ on 6x4 grid... not easy I bet.. :D
(And that was just one 'letter' :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. @heidi, fill them when you are zoomed on the disks in the water.

    ReplyDelete
  79. There was a bug. had both buckets, but only one attached to the bamboo, and lost the other. Have to refresh and start over. Argh.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Peke, Ellie wrote down the exact pattern above !

    ReplyDelete
  81. I really have to express more clearly when I'm just joking around..
    Sorry..

    ReplyDelete
  82. WALKTHROUGH
    Turn right.
    Pick up the bucket (pail).
    Turn right twice.
Take the rope from under the table and the bonsai plant.
    Turn right.
    Take the bow.
    Turn right twice.
Take the knife from the table.
Turn right three times and move forward – outside.
Use knife on bamboo to get bamboo.
Take the stony disk from the right side of the stone globe.
    Go down and back inside.
Turn left twice and move forward – outside.
    Combine rope and bow.
Use rope+bow to get the wooden disk from the other side of the water (by the right pillar).
Put the wooden disk and the stony disk in the water to be able to cross to the other side.

Click on the other side of the water (you get a zoomed view of the disks), then on top of the screen to step ashore.
    Turn right.
Take a bucket (pail) next to the left pillar.
Zoom on the table and take the yellow vase.
Click down two times and turn right.
    Take the rake.
Go down two times to face the water.
Take a scroll from the white pillar on the right side.
Combine the two buckets with the bamboo to get a yoke.

Click on the other side of the water.
When zoomed on the disks, fill the yoke with water.
Click on top of the screen to face the house.
Take the sheath from the left side of the trail.
    Move inside the house.
    Turn right.
Place the vase under the middle scroll.
Place your scroll on the empty place to the right of the other scrolls.
Click on the scrolls to change the signs on them.
When you make them: one sign on the left scroll, two on the middle and three on the right scroll you get a tsuba.
Take a look at the signs on the scrolls.

    Turn right and go outside.
    Click down to turn around.
Use the rake on the roof to get keys.
    Move inside the house.
    Turn right three times.
Use the keys on the door.
    Move outside.
Take the stone from the left side of the left white pillar.
Zoom on the well in front of you.
Use the yoke+water in the well to get a haft.
Click down twice to get back inside.

    Turn right twice.
Move outside and to the other side of the water.
    Turn left to the sand.
Click in the sand to zoom on a 6x4 grid with stones.
Place your stone and your bonsai in the sand.
You can now click on the stones and the bonsai one at a time to make them red, and if you click on another spot the red one will move there.
Make the correct pattern to get a blade (thanks @acvcnos3!). Solution below.

Combine tsuba + haft + blade + sheath to get a complete katana.
    Go down twice.
Move right and zoom on the table.
Place the katana on the rack to escape!

    Congratulations!!

    Stone Pattern Solution
Write the word katana with the kanji sign.
This is the same sign that you can see on all of the three scrolls.
The pattern look like this (X=stones or bonsai):
    XXXXX0
    0X00X0
    0X00X0
    0X0XX0

  83. Scarey! A Stone Age game that I actually enjoyed!! I've been avoiding them for months but maybe I'll start looking at them again.

    ReplyDelete
  84. These particular games (Mine, Ancient Castle, This One) I have enjoyed very much. They're a little complicated, but they're logical and entertaining. I hope they make more like this.

    ReplyDelete
  85. @Ellie...haven't played the game yet but remember when I couldn't find a trash can below my comments to *delete* comment if needed...lol! Suddenly it has appeared...I have no idea what is going on with my computer...think a poltergeist is messing with me....rofl!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'll play this game tomorrow. Hopefully Irish's ghost will be gone by then! eek!

    ReplyDelete
  87. morning!!!first today but no new games yet!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. @Irish...it was me!! Cheese ;-)

  90. Good morning. Very, very nice game although i don´t know where the hint for the "stonegrid" came from. Maybe from the scrolls since it was the only sign repeated but still..didn´t see much logic there

    ReplyDelete
  91. Recent Stonage games have been excellent, much better than the old pixel-hunt ones. I wouldn't have got out of this one without the walkthrough, although I was going quite well without peeking, because I got a bit driectionally challenged LOL. I need a map for these games!
Thanks for the walkthrough, Ellie - magnificen! One tiny hint for any following, after taking the yellow vase you need to turn left for the rake, not right.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I agree MaryD, i had the same thing with the navigation. If StoneAgeGames will add some arrows in the next game their games will be perfect, lol

    ReplyDelete
  93. Morning @Full, sorry I missed your funny word-joke yesterday. But I left rather hasty.

Anyway, nice game! But I needed help on the stones and I missed the scroll.
    Thanks @Ellie for WT

    Hoi spooky Alkmar! lol

    ReplyDelete
  94. lol @irish!! Good to see you again :)!! I'm happy that you finally found the trash can (it took a few months lol) but I hope you won't use it! I'd like all of your comments to stay here lol.

Thanks @MaryD for the correction of the WT!! Sorry for confusing left and right (won't be the last time)!

I'd like to say that navigation regarding left and right in any walkthrough should be seen as something that will probably work, but if it doesn't; turn the other way instead lol. I don't know why, but left and right is so confusing :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. the good news is that I guess what I was supposed to do with the stones because I noted it repeated in the game. The bad news is I kept trying to make curved lines and have the top row completely filled. sheesh

    thanks for the diagram, @Ellie!

And thanks to @acvcnos3 for telling me what it meant. I would never have known!

    ReplyDelete
  96. @Ellie glad I am not the only directionally challenged one. I have to check left versus right in all my walkthroughs. I switch them ALL the time.

    ReplyDelete
  97. lol @kitkatfox, I need to check them all the time as well, and I always correct several directions in each WT. Still, some mistakes survive the editing. I think that we are not the only one, so that's why "left" and "right" should never be fully trusted in a WT :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. rocks on sand pattern:
put the bonsai on the top left spot. begin to spell 'katana' in japanese on that spot. you will get the blade if you do it right.

    ReplyDelete
  99. i did the puzzle and got a blade the 3 will be where the bonzai goes and os are empty and x's are the stones the pattern is
    3xxxx0
    0x00x0
    0x00x0
0x0xx0 try that hope it works good luck

    ReplyDelete
  100. Haha, that was fun. I mean, the rock puzzle was a bit hard, but a notable escape game to say the least.
