ReplyDeleteOK here is how I got the brooch: I used knife on kettle... Nobody mentioned anything about this being necessary!!! The stupid brooch was in there all this time. When you use the knife it lifts the lid and you get to view the inside of kettle. Argh! Still don't know why I took the man's underwear though. Must be kinky beyond words. LOL
ReplyDelete@Tania and for anyone else: You don't need to use anything special for getting the braceled from the "kettle" Just double click the top and you should then have wiev inside of the "kettle" Just use eyes and common sence ;)

ReplyDeleteProblem: ALL of the drawers underneath the bed are completely empty, hence no cork. I can't find any hotspots, and nothing from my inventory seems to work on the bedroom drawers. Anyone care to be more specific on finding the cork?

ReplyDeleteIt’s a brand new day and I’m out! Got stuck on the freezer puzzle yesterday, and this is how I solved it. Find the palm leaf with the drawing on it (always the last one you get to view), and note its colour. This is the colour of the lines you’ll need to make the drawing (at least in my game it was). Then zoom in on the drawing until you can make out the lines the drawing consists of. There are three kind of lines: small curves, large curves and straight lines. Copy the drawing on paper (by hand), and number the lines the drawing consists of (in my drawing there were 9). Then note down which kind of line goes with the numbers, i.e.
ReplyDelete#1: small curve
#2: small curve
#3: straight line
etc.
Note: this is just an example, ‘cause the drawings are different each game.
Then go to the freezer, and solve the puzzle with the help of your drawing and numbered lines. You can drag and rotate the puzzle pieces. This may all sound complicated, but it’s worth it, ‘cause you’ll need the key to get to the basement, and continue the play.

ReplyDeletefwiw, I was trying to remove cork from brandy while I was in basement and it wouldn't come out. Only seems to work in front of fridge.
ReplyDelete1. Smash alarm clock with hammer, get red bag, slide broken clock into top drawer, open second drawer and replace with new alarm clock. GET EARRING! put in red bag
ReplyDelete2. open box on floor, fold clothes into box, close box and click it to slide it over.
3. Click ladder to move it to bed. click top bunk, GET UNDIES from under pillow.
4. GET EARRING from behind bed. put in bag
5. KITCHEN, take everything off table including table cloth, use knife to open small drawer, get necklace put it in the bag. take the tooth pick out of salt shaker, put everything back on table except knife and tooth pick.
6. Open red bag, cut one of the corners with knife and place UNDIES IN THE BAG.
7. Maximize knife, click the butt of knife with hand. use tooth pick to take note out of knife.
8. hit the side of fridge with hammer (to stop beeping) solve the puzzel in the freezer, (the solution is on the back of one of the palm tree leafs)!.. get the frozen key, place key in oven, close the oven, hit the side of oven with hammer and wait till key defrosts, use oven mit to take key out when ready.
9. Hit rage above oven with hammer, jewlery falls in tea pot, click the teapot lid that fast again to go inside teapot, GET JEWLERY, put it in bag.
10. Get brandy bottle and glass, maximize brany bottle and click and hold the cork till it opens, poor brany in glass. get cheese off table, cut cheese with knife, take cheese slice and place it on top of brandy glass. use key to get into basement. open brandy and cheese drink while in basement and move the bags in front of safe.
11. use combo on safe from small note in knife, get helmet and money, cut the other corner inside red bag with knife put money there.
12. get smoking pipe in basement, go to the mask next to the palm tree. put pipe in the masks mouth, click it again and GET THE RINGS out of the masks eyes and put them in red bag.
13. find the cork from the brady bottle (mine was in one of the bed drawers. click on painting above the couch. wait till the boat comes into the painting and throw the cork at it, GET BRACELET off boat and put it in the red bag.
14. PUT EVERYTHING BACK WHERE U FOUND IT! except for extra cash, gold helmet, and red bag, zip up the red bag. open front door and YOURE OUT!!!
hit the extractor thing a few times,notice on the edge of the extractor is a pin.Just click it.It will then fall into the pot.Open the pot's lid and quickly click on the opening of the pot.Then you will find the pin.Hope that helps
