  53. I didn't understood why it was X B though. Had nothing to do with the number hint above, except XB is a japanese number.

    ReplyDelete
  54. what bathroom I'm so confused

    ReplyDelete
  55. @atvcountry, Bathroom escape is another game

    ReplyDelete
  56. ha ha I'm out very funny about the bathroom

    ReplyDelete
  57. I think XB stands for XBox. If you multiply the red numbers, you get 360. (XBox 360). It was released in South Korea on 24 February (according to Wikipedia), hence 24 2.

    ReplyDelete
  58. the number is the alphabetical order.
    18 5 4 = R E D.
    so 24 2 is X B.

    ReplyDelete
  59. @Roy: Wow! I would never been able to guess that! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  60. @escapism: Although I like my answer better, Xenon is probably right ;-).

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Xenon - thanks for the explanation!

    ReplyDelete
  62. @atvcountry, I'm sorry I left to play the bathroom escape.
    Glad you got out though!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. @xenon: Ah, thanks a lot. Sorry @Roy, I also think that xenon may be right...

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yay! Out without any help! lol!

  66. I love these games! They are simple yet so hard! I got the clue pretty quick, but I had a hard time for a while because I spelled the alphabet wrong!! I thought it should be "YB" and that wasn't easy lol. I might need to go to pre-school tomorrow instead of work...
Finally out on my own though, and will quickly forget about the embarrassing part :))

  67. HOW TO ESCAPE 3 - WALKTHROUGH

    ● Zoom in the left glass on the upper shelf and take the magnet; zoom out.
    ● Go right.
    ● Zoom on the trash bin and take a handle; zoom out.
    ● Zoom on the desk with chair and open the drawer to grab Plate #1; zoom out twice.
    ● Go right.
    ● Zoom in the small white cabinet left from door and zoom again on the upper side of top shelf to find Plate #2; zoom back twice.
Screen shot for where to zoom.
    ● Go right.
    ● Zoom in the lower left door of the big gray cabinet and place the HANDLE in the slot to get it opened and to grab Plate #3; do not zoom out.
    ● In that same view, click on the right side of the inside to have another view where you can now take a wood rod; zoom out twice.
    ● You might have noticed that there’s something upon the big cabinet that cannot be reached… use the WOOD ROD there to get yet another Plate #4.
    ● Open the MAGNET in [about item] view, click on the lower (blue) part of it to turn it around and select the WOOD ROD and click on the magnet to combine them.
    ● Zoom in the blue… recipient(?) on the left side and see a screwdriver that cannot be reached as well. Use your rod/magnet to take it… and do not zoom out!
    ● In that same view, click on the right side of the screen to have another view and another Plate #5; you can zoom out now.
    ● Zoom on the left upper door of the gray cabinet to see a box that can’t be opened, but it has a “space between lid”. Open the box with the SCREWDRIVER and get Plate #6; zoom out.
    ● Now zoom on the right door of the cabinet and see the upper side of another box where, when zooming there, 4 of your plates can be placed but, which ones and in what order?
    ● Above of this box there’s a white paper barely visible; click on it to have it in another view and see the PLATES CLUE; go down.
    ● Solve the code and zoom in the upper side of the box; place the correct 4 plates in their correct spots.
Solution at the end of the walkthrough
    ● Zoom out and you’ll see that the box can’t yet be opened since “the lid was hit to wall”.
    ● Click on the lower right side of the box to have another view and to see that the box “inclines”; select whichever of your 2 remaining plates and click on the lower right side of the box to have it horizontal now; click down to go up (yeah, ironic!)
    ● Now you can open the box and to get the key; zoom out twice.
    ● Go left.
    ● Use the KEY on the door handle and you’ll have done your escape… Congratulations!

    SOLUTION FOR THE PLATES BOX
The paper shows the following numbers:
    18 5 4 (in red)
    24 2 (in black)

Now, using your skills as an experienced escaper, you might know that this is a numbers to letters replacement… so change the numbers to letters from alphabet and you’ll get:
    R E D
    X B

On the top of the box use the plates that spell [XB]

    ReplyDelete
  68. Hmm.... that means that I'm not an experienced escaper, because I didn't get the number code... :-(

I think I'll change my name here in 'unescapism'... ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  69. lol @escapism, that's just one of the usual things me and some others have lerant throught the pass of the games... something it would be in a escapers manual, if there would be one.
But don't forget that every person thinks differently, some puzzles are easier or more evidently solvable for some than for others (tell me about it!), and solving games as a team is what makes this site a wonderful one! :)

    ReplyDelete
  70. and I meant *learnt, not lerant... duh!

    ReplyDelete
  71. @Edgar: thanks, I keep my name... ;-)

But you are perfectly right! Everybody thinks different, and that's why I really enjoy playing life games here, because there are always so many different thoughts about the problems and ways to solve them, it is fascinating.

This time my problem was that I had only 4 plates first and I thought that this must be enough because there were four empty places, and my plates didn't form proper letters, so I didn't think in letters from the very start, so the hint was useless, even after I found the other plates. Stupid...
