this looks like an interesting game
ReplyDeletePRIMERAAAAAA
ReplyDeletejust wandering around the village, not sure what else to do...
ReplyDeleteOkay, I broke the window. Now what?
ReplyDeleteAnyone have anything other than a lighter and "gas" cutter?
ReplyDeletegot lighter and torch, no idea what to do
ReplyDeleteWhat´s the ten number code for the door?
ReplyDeletecharge torch with car battery
ReplyDeletetrying to use cutting torch on everything, no luck
ReplyDeletei haven't figured out that code either roberto
ReplyDeleteUse torch on doorway.
ReplyDeleteuse torch on forcefield pillar
ReplyDeleteuse torch to get battery in jeep
ReplyDeleteroberto, for the second door code, use nano paint on both sides of door. note that there are a bunch of sets of two symbols paired together. hint on right side gives order - for each of those symbols press corresponding symbol on left.
ReplyDeleteThanks @Roberto - hadn't clicked on the right part of the jejep
ReplyDeleteFound the equipment in the temple ruin, plus the log entries. Ergh, if you go back to Wiley, you have to fight that monster all over again when you head back up.
ReplyDelete@Shane
ReplyDeleteWhat nano paint? Can´t see any hint on right side!
I'm stuck at a door with the number pad, I clicked on the green pad but didn't read it and can't seem to get it on again. Anyone help???
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck at a door with 4 buttons on the right that I've tried to match to the sequence of the button on top
ReplyDeleteI´m having trouble to post. An AD keeps appearing just on top of chat box. Have to refresh a lot of times.
ReplyDeleteannaby, this door is very easy. Wait for the next door!!!!
ReplyDeleteStuck on the mission. can't get passed the door with the code. bunch of symble over the door and a place to input numbers?? Need clue..anyone!
ReplyDeleteAnyone have a clue to code for 2nd door?
ReplyDelete@roberto - I can't find the first symbol that flashes?
ReplyDeleteAnybody knows what´s nano paint Shane mentioned?
ReplyDeleteAnnaby, I had trouble with that one too, it's hard to describe, kind of like an H with a slash to the left of it...
ReplyDeletethat was pretty fun. see my post above for clue to second door. roberto - nanopaint is in locker box in front of door. read journal for code.
ReplyDelete@Linda566 - thanks, got it. Didni't look at all like the symbol displayed though
ReplyDeleteannaby, Guess you have to click 1st button 10 times
ReplyDeleteCan´t see any box, any journal??!!
ReplyDeletesame box? journal? hint on right side? What the?!?!?
ReplyDeletelol... it seems we are playing diferent games. Are we?
ReplyDeleteDont see any Journal anywhere??? hint plz...
ReplyDeleteMaybe the text box is hidding part of my game?
ReplyDelete@shane...I don't get it. Where is the journal? I read the green thing earlier that I had ot power off and can't go back to, but cannot figure out how that information opens the locker.
ReplyDeletejournal is green thing on floor in front of second door. you can only open it once and then the power is out. are you through the first door?
ReplyDeleteone of the journal entries has a code. after reading that entry, click on the number pad of the locker.
ReplyDeleteaverage player time 25 minutes...hmmmm I think i've been stuck at this door for 25 mins!!! Someone please help!!!
ReplyDeleteShane can you give up the code please?
ReplyDelete6589254667
ReplyDeleteI read that shane. 0025 personal, 0028 class 2. Tried putting inputting numbers into locker as 25, 28, 2528, 2825....lol. I'm hopeless
ReplyDeletegutted is it worth starting again?
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get THAT number from Roberto? I must have really missed something on that green thing.
ReplyDeletesunshine - that's the wrong entry. see robertos code
ReplyDeleteDig Officer Amy Polery
ReplyDeleteEntry 0024
Entry 0025- personal
Entry 0026
Entry 0027
Entry 0028- Class 2
Enrty 0029
If you can see a code in that? plz share!!!
I tried puttung all the number in the number pad and nadda!!
click the entries and see the code at the bottom of one of them
ReplyDeleteroberto - did you figure out the second door code?
ReplyDeleteYeah. I posted it above
ReplyDeleteooooo....I think I'm going to start over and find all the things I missed. Glad you are so thorough. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFound another journal, but too much reading, and fear to skip it and need it later.
ReplyDeleteI am way tired of this cave monster everytime I turn around
ReplyDeleteDang...I so missed that !! I didn't know I could see more on the entry codes :( thx 4 posting!
ReplyDelete@Robert - the main thing I found in the 2nd journal was not to use grenades on stone - only organic matter
ReplyDeletedefinitely will want to save at least two grenades for the last enemy...and i hope you all have the lighter from the first room on the ship...
ReplyDeleteYipee..through the door. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI only had 2 grenades to start with and used them on the cave monster. Didn't realize I could shoot him (don't play these type of games much obviously)
ReplyDeleteoops - died. I'll give this one more try.
ReplyDeletei must be totally clueless, i cannot figure out the second door code
ReplyDeleteI give up! Keeping dying ...not fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the hearts of the ruins - some circular depression in the ground that flashes blue lights. Can anyone help?
ReplyDeletestill live?
ReplyDeleteI'm still here - don't know if anyone else is. But I'm stuck.
ReplyDeleteguess am alone and very late game loading for long time
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't too bad make sure you buy and save at least 4 grenades for the end fight
ReplyDeleteI'm still here... I have died repeatedly and have no recharges left for anything, but I've found that by increasing the "dodge", "aim" and "armor" amounts every chance you get (when fighting enemies) your power bar stays longer and longer!
ReplyDelete@annaby
ReplyDeleteyou need to see the order the buttons light on and to press them in the same sequence.
1 leftmost upper line.
2 upper line of outter circle.
3 bottom right line of middle circle.
4 bottom left line of middle circle.
5 leftmost upper line (same as 1)
6 lower line in middle circle.
7 4th upper line (out of 5).
The door will open and you'll face the final enemy... maybe the time for you to go back all the way and to buy some stuff with Wiley. Listen to @Dayhead and face the final enemy with granades; make sure to have some of the ones that fill your armor level and don't froget to update your levels every time your XP bar has filled.
@Edgar - thank you! I will back out and stock up.
ReplyDeleteand I'm out!!!
ReplyDeleteanyone else still playing I am stuck at second door I put nano paint and cant figure how to input right code on left help please
ReplyDeletedo not like this game :-(
ReplyDelete@sleepypup - the symbols on the right are in pairs, as are the symbols on top. One of the two symbols matches the symbols on the left. Find the symbol on the left that goes with the other symbol and click in order of the right symbols. Does that make any sense?
ReplyDeleteWell that was quite ploddy in parts, but I think there's a lot of scope for the future (I liked the symbol matching), hopefully the maker can speed things up a little for the next one.
ReplyDeleteNice waste of time though :o)
What a fun game! Hoping to see an Episode 2 soon :) The puzzles/codes were fun to figure out and not very difficult...remember to read the journals because there is useful information in them...especially the code to the equipment box when you reach that room with the two journals in it.
ReplyDeleteThe code, using Nano paint on walls to reveal order of code, is easy once I figured out what I needed to look at...the symbols above the door are the key. On the right is the order to press the buttons on the left wall...I'll try to describe this without confusing everyone..lol!
Example: 8*9(10)
okay...per the above example, look at the symbol *above door* that is to the right of the order given on the right wall, i.e., if order was 9,8,10, the buttons on the left wall that you would press would be (, *, )...I hope that makes sense?!
Anyway...I loved this game...only I couldn't ever find Wiley again to use the money cards I found to get batteries and grenades...Edgar, did you manage to find him again to buy weapons and supplies from him? :) I continued to add more to my aim and dodge abilities and I finally was able to dodge all the last boss' shots, but it took a long time to kill him...haha! I had already used my grenades...darn!
still cant get symbol code right for second door it seemed like i did and then the symbols changed on top now they dont match so i dont know what i am doing wrong
ReplyDelete@irish, you can find Wiley in the same place you find him inside the caves (second view after cave entrance collapsed). You won't find him there, but look for his name on an upper right label to summon him.
ReplyDeleteA big thanks to Hyptosis for the making of this game :)
ReplyDeleteWALKTHROUGH
ReplyDeleteNotes.
•You start the game with a level 1 of experience, which it will increase when your XP bar gets full, enabling you to add one point on your other skills (aim, dodge and armor).
•Gain experience and a few extra credits (currency) by beating enemies along your way.
•Also obtain credits by collecting orange “credit chips”; this WT will point the places where they are.
•Don’t forget to visit Wiley to buy several supplies (but other than a few grenades and lots of batteries, I really didn’t need anything else).
•A piece of advice: Take advantage of the weaker (earlier) enemies to come and go back where they are to gain easy experience and credits (every single enemy gives you 5, no matter how strong they could be)… sometimes they will be there, move back or forward and get back to the enemy scene if they’re not.
● Open the left locker between the bunks and take the lighter from the upper shelf.
● Move twice to the right and go through the conversation with Nathan Matsuda (or not if you just ignore him).
● Move up twice and have another conversation with Aethera Tudyk.
● Move up and through the door and talk to Pogo.
Now, you can move to the right to talk to System Min (only if you’re interested in the main storyline and following it). Go back to the left if you came here.
● Move forward and talk to Matchstick.
● Go up… and watch the landing animation.
Once landed on the planet you might like to talk to the other characters by selecting them in the top right part of the game screen.
● Move to the right.
● Talk to Wiley (the lower option ends the conversation for whenever you want to).
● Move forward and take the cutting torch from right side of the building.
● Move left and see a door sealed by a force field.
● Move left, select the torch in inventory and click on the jeep’s battery to have your torch functional.
● Go back to the right and use the cutting torch on the portal panel (right pillar).
● Enter the caves.
You’re trapped inside the caves. The entrance has collapsed once you entered.
● Move forward and talk to Wiley, who from this point (and in this part of the caves) will become in your supplier. You might like to take a look to his available stuff, even when you can’t buy anything for the moment (with only 4 credits on you).
● Move forward and you might face (or not) your first enemy. It’s a weak alien, and a single shot of your “Stinger” will handle it… press [Shoot] to use your gun.
● Move forward and talk to Aethera.
● Move forward again and face a closed door.
● Click on the left button to see a series of symbols above the door and enter them in the buttons on the right.
See here the order of symbols to be entered (top to bottom)
● Once the correct symbols are in the 4 left panels, click again on the one in the left and the door will open; go inside.
WALKTHROUGH – PART 2
ReplyDelete● Pick the orange chip in the right to you have extra credits on you.
● Click on the green card in the left and see Amy Polery’s journal.
● Click on “Entry 0024” and notice the passcode: SPOILER6589254667SPOILER.
Once again, you can go through the rest of the entries to go deeper into the storyline.
● Click on the panel in the chest of the right side and enter the passcode in the number pad displaying above from it.
● Take the can of nano-paint from inside the opened chest.
● Select the nano-paint in inventory and use it on the wall to the right of door to uncover some symbols decoder.
● Repeat the same procedure on the wall to the left from door to uncover the hidden buttons.
● See the symbols from the right and find their pairs in the ones above the door to know the order to press the buttons.
See here the order of buttons to press.
● If done correctly, the symbols on top of the door will rearrange in new pairs… and you’ll need to do the same again.
See here the buttons to press for the second time.
● The door is opened now… go inside.
Every now and then you’ll find (or are finding) alien enemies to battle. It’s recommendable not to use the grenades on them and to save them for the final (and most powerful) of them all, since grenades are more expensive to buy with Wiley.
● Move forward and collect the orange chip (16 credits more for you) and the gun on the floor (now you are equipped with a more powerful one).
● Move forward and, if you like, read the journal of Dr. Sarah H Whitaker.
● Go ahead and see 2 doors now; enter the one on the left.
● Take the helmet from the dead body (your armor has increased level)
● Go back and enter now into the door on the right.
● Moving to the front, you face 2 doors again; go into the one on the left first.
● Take the stone key (cipher) and go back.
● Enter into the door on the right and move forward.
● Click on the panel in the right of the door and it will open (since you used the stone key that you picked up before); go in and move forward twice.
● Use your lighter on the torch in the right of the wall and enter in the right door that opens afterwards.
● Take the helmet and body suit from the dead alien (your own armor has increased level)
● Go back and move forward… four times.
● Take the orange chip to add more credits.
● Go ahead 3 times and eventually you’ll have another conversation with Aethera.
Click and read if you like both journals on the floor… nothing really important for the solving of the game.
● Move ahead several times and eventually you’ll get into the final chamber.
At any point of the game you can go back and forward through the caves (and to maybe buy a few cheap KF Batteries to Wiley to fill the KF level when it goes down). Alien enemies will be there waiting all along the way, but it’s OK to battle them over and over to gain credits and to increase your XP level as much as you want. Just keep in mind to save enough credits to get to the final alien with AT LEAST 3 grenades.
● In the final chamber you’ll see a locked door with circles and lines on top that light in a certain order; learn it and click on the tiles in the same sequence to open the door (if you make a mistake the lights on the tiles will start over for you to check again).
See here the order to press the tiles.
● Go inside the door; move forward through the zombie-like people and fight the “Reschellian Ender”
● Once the Ender is beaten, have another conversation with Aethera, look at the final animations, read the credits, hm… go to pee, idk… you’re out anyways.
CONGRATS!!!
When I played this, I didn't even notice the code in the journal, and of course once I closed it I couldn't get it back, so big thanks to roberto for posting the code! And thanks to Dayhead and Edgar for the ideas to stock up on grenades by going back to find Wally (and fighting more monsters on the way). I surely would have died as other posters did, had you not warned me that I could do that. And a most excellent walkthrough, as usual, Edgar!
ReplyDeleteFor anyone interested in this game, the "action" scenes where you have to kill enemies is not arcade-type action where you have to have fast mouse skills or good reflexes. It's simply a matter of they take a shot, you take a shot (so you can walk away and refill your coffee in the middle of a 'battle' if you need to). How well you do in the 'battle' is determined by the items you've found/purchased (ammo, armor, etc.) and the skills you choose for yourself (aim, dodge, etc.) I don't usually enjoy fighting games, but this was done so well (and so non-stressful) and the fights were minimal that I really liked it. The storyline was interesting, the graphics were good, the puzzles were challenging and I absolutely loved the ending! They reward you with a fabulous song (Sunrise by ShannonHurley.com) and great pictures that set the mood really well. Loved it! For your first flash game, Hyptosis, you did an excellent job!
loved it enough to do it again ... had no grenades left to fight boss but at 20 dodge he couldnt hit me so was no problem
ReplyDelete@Edgar...thank you for the info about Wiley..lol! I didn't even look up in the corner, I went back hoping to bump into him again...lol!!!! I'm going to play again just so I can stock up on supplies :) Absolutely incredible walkthrough :) Kudos! This was such a fun game...anxious to play more like this and Warsaw Bielany! I don't know about you, but it seems that there are too many *hidden object/number* games lately and I just prefer an escape game like Tesshi-E or GotMail...etc.
ReplyDelete@irish, loved this game too :)
ReplyDeleteDefenitively not one for rushy players, lol.
Not as long as the Bielany series... and not as personally meaningful to me like the excellent Tesshi-e's, and hope to find some in the near future. As for the bigger number of hidden stuff games, I have to agree with you, even when I do Peekture-throughs for many of them, but they are here... many people likes them (some more than others though) and always it's enjoyable to give any help needed for all tastes I guess.
Cheers!
P.S. Looking forward to play live with you again!
@democralypse, nope, sorry. No way back there as far as I know. Lighter only helps you to improve your armor... you're still able to escape without it though, if that makes you feel any better.
