got the phone working , a c4 papaer and a grey circle
put the grey thing under the table and a code
@Zania the gray circle goes under the pillow table.
I am stuck with lipstick and wired C4.
telephone wire (used), and C4 valve Bateira
@kitkatfox, i did it and zoomed out and when zoomed it again the code was gone
there is a battery above the chimeny, use that on the alarm and get a number...
and now the panel on the wall shows some numbers
@zania I have the battery number, but I don't know what to do with it.
I have lipstick, the phone plugged in, the number from the battery-powered fire detector, c4 that has wires in it (I brute forced the code on the drawers), and numbers from the thing to the left of the door.
The code from the table was X yelow cyan X
used lipstick on the floor to get an x???

Found a key!
use c4 on x you made with lipstick, get key and out.
And out!
A lot of numbers and conecting telephone wasn't needed.

@kkf my c4 doesnt have wires. its just a yellow paper thing with c4 written on it...
did i miss sth?

the wires come from the drawer you open with the color code.

@Zania when you face the door, you can click on the table on the edge of the screen
@small-tool circle is from using valve thing on the radiator
out - wasted all that time on wall code?
were there more clues to the color code? I brute forced it from the pillow table's hint

My battery won't go in the smoke alarm. Is there another alarm?
@kkf - never saw a 4th color clue. Used red for first and clicked last till it worked
@new If I remember correctly, face the door and then click the table at the right edge of the screen
@kitkatfox there was a red color above the fireplace..
but i didnt see a hint for the green
(did the valve turn green???? if so then that was the hint)
@small-tool - I think I put the battery in the red circle
There is a red square on the mantle/chimney, that was probably a hint for the color code too.
The drawers are in the view with the door and there on the far right.

the firealarm is on the upper right side of the door and the battery goes into the red circle.

Thanks, already put the battery on the red dot like annaby said, but what's with that number you get. Can put it in the thermostate because the down arrow doesn't work so I never get that number.

hmmm...I was doing a walkthrough, and I can't get the phone cord to work :/
@small-tool - you don't have to do anything with the numbers. Use lipstick on the floor view and then explosive on the x
kitkatfox, for the cord you have to zoom in on the outlet for a more close-up view.

I know I'm out already, a long time ago.
Actually, all you have to do is get the lipstick, get the c4 and the wires and you can get the key, but I like to know the hints for the color code. The first and fourth color have to come from the telephone and or that number.

i managed to escape thank u all there was no chance finding that spot on the floor alone
Click the fire extinguisher by the fireplace -- get the C4
Click to the right of the middle of the mantel over the fireplace -- note the red shape
Click the left lamp over the mantle -- get the battery
Click inside of the table with the pillow next to it -- note the circle
Click the fireplace tools -- get the phone cord
Click under the table to the right of the right chair -- get the valve
Turn around (either left or right)
Click the plant in the corner -- get the lipstick from the pot
Click the radiator (cyan thing to the right of the door)
Use the valve on the circle to get the circle
Click the drawer at the very right edge of the screen -- note it needs a color code
Turn around
Zoom under the table and place the circle on the button
See a color code -- NOTE IT!! It will disappear!
Turn around
Zoom in on the white circle up right of the radiator
Place the battery in this fire detector (put it on the red circle)
See a number -- this doesn’t seem to mean anything
Zoom in on the table to the left of the door
Zoom in on the phone outlet and then place the cord
Note you can press the buttons, but they don’t do anything
Zoom in on the thing to the left of the door (thermostat?). You can push the down arrow to see a bunch of numbers, but they don’t seem to mean anything
Click the table on the edge of the screen
Use the pillow table and fireplace hints to brute force the code
NOTE!!!! THIS ONLY SEEMS TO WORK IF YOU HAVE PLUGGED IN THE PHONE!!!!
SPOILERred yellow cyan green SPOILER (there doesn’t seem to be a hint for the green)
Get the wires. In your inventory, combine them with the C4
Click the floor about half way down from the door to look down (Thanks, Sarah4 and others)
Use the lipstick on the middle of the floor to get a red X to appear on the right edge (you can’t use the lipstick on the edge, though)
Use the C4 there and get the key
Look up and use the key on the door.
Escape with useless number clues and magically intact C4!
I got out, but I never got the grey circle, nor did I use the copper valve... it says "well done!" hmmmm
@kkf, could the green circle under the table be the hint for the green? All out of order, of course! I joined late and needed help with getting the phone hooked up (i didn't zoom on the outlet) and so couldn't brute force the code until I read small-tool's hint.
all in all, maybe this game should be called "Lots of Red Herrings", lol
