    ReplyDelete
  4. Yay, just got home from work and I see that there's loads of new games to play. Let's give this one a go first : )

    ReplyDelete
  5. Page opens but game wont load, everything clickable are AD's.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Not much to do! I wonder if the dots on the ghostie have anything to do with the picture frame?

    ReplyDelete
  7. it says to use internet explorer

    ReplyDelete
  8. Note: Use Internet Explorer to play this game

    ReplyDelete
  9. If someone is able to actually do something, a hint would be greatly appreciated!

    ReplyDelete
  10. i havent done anything yet, now trying to enter some nonsenses in box near door

    ReplyDelete
  11. I always play these in firefox...maybe thay will fix it...

    ReplyDelete
  12. How's it going Egle, get anything done yet?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Good excuse to go and make a pot of coffee. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  14. When you click the ghost the text translates to SCARY. Not much help there then..

    ReplyDelete
  15. Likewise when you click the clock. This is according to Google, so I may be wrong : )

    ReplyDelete
  16. @Knotaklu, I'm going for the red wine option ; )

    ReplyDelete
  17. You can play this in Firefox if you download the Coral IE add-on.

    ReplyDelete
  18. the smartest idea i had was TheScream as the picture looked like "the scream" by Edvard Munch

    ReplyDelete
  19. When you click 'The Scream' painting the text translates to I am fierce~ according to Babylon.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Also

adj. (Kanji=恐い) frightening, scary; eerie, uncanny; strange, weird

    ReplyDelete
  21. The apple text reads:

こわい、こわい = Is fierce; is fierce

Bloody hell, this is getting silly!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. yeah, nothing works... hrrh

    ReplyDelete
  23. I caught up in a second. Feels like it's gonna take a while here lol. Tried to use the dots on the ghost as numbers from the clock. Also tried to click on things when the ghost is away. Nothing...

    ReplyDelete
  24. I can't eat the apple in this game either :(

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Rambler! We're having a nice time here, right?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I just arrived.
A live game and nothing works, arggg...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hey all who came after, i guess it was not hard to catch up with us :) maybe u will be more lucky and get us out of here

    ReplyDelete
  28. lol @Egle! I'm not having a lucky day so don't count on me.
@Rambler, did you start bruteforcing yet lol?
    Hi @Zazie!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hi to you too Zazie, you're right, we seem to be missing a trick her. All the text for each item are variations on scary, fierce, frightening etc...

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Ellie, I would if I knew what form it took lol

Is it alpha or numeric? Or both...

    ReplyDelete
  31. lol @Rambler... you tell me, when you solved it ;)

    ReplyDelete
  32. and i think i tried all the words i could think of, which have something in common with scary

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hi everybody :)
I even tried 1893, the year when Munch created "the scream" and his birthday, day of death, but nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I tried everything with clock numbers I could think of too.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm pretty certain that the dots on the ghost are a key part of this. But HOW? I've tried on the pic and the clock without success, and the apple just sits there mocking me. Grrrr

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well..it is Friday the 13th!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Need to leave for a while. This is the day I start live games, need to go, and come back when they're solved :(

    Good luck!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Maybe the author confused Friday the 13th with April Fools!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Righto, I'm gonna order a pizza, we may be here for a while : )

    ReplyDelete
  40. I still have not played Sakura and Gazzy, so maybe i should do it and come back here later lol...

    ReplyDelete
  41. maybe its impossible to finish this game, that why its so scary

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hey Zoey
Welcome to the Stuck Club : )

    ReplyDelete
  43. *Sorry, I meant Zoe (blush)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hey Rambler! Stuck before we even begin!! That's a first!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Annoying :((((
And no help from the game maker....

    ReplyDelete
  46. Maybe the code has something to do with today's date?

    ReplyDelete
  47. hi everyone, I am here every day but dont post much...is anyone else having dreams about escaping from rooms? lol

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Egle, you may be right.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yes Zoe, but how people would solve it when they play it another day in the future ? :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh well...we gave it our best shot! lol!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. @ Tee80, I think the painting on the wall pretty much represents all our feelings about this particular escape lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hi Tee, now i tried dream and nightmare, doesn´t work either haha...

    ReplyDelete
  53. @Zazie: I was thinking more like Friday the 13th in general....

    ReplyDelete
  54. Or maybe it's about the movie, "Friday the 13th"??

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yes i know, but well i am trying everything....stupid me.

    ReplyDelete
  56. It also reflects the kinda day I have had!...this is the last thing I needed boooo! oh well, off to the next :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. 62 comments and no way forward. Aaaaggghhh lol

    ReplyDelete
  58. But then again, what's so scary about an apple?

    ReplyDelete
  59. @tee80 Hey, i dont have dreams, but sometimes i keep noticing unusual things, like a bit different tiles. And if i see paper with phone number i think it could be a code first.

    ReplyDelete
  60. LOL Egle, I often see a cupboard and wonder if there's a screwdriver behind it : )

    ReplyDelete
  61. LOL @Egle the same happens to me, sometimes i see codes everywhere....

And the apple looks to me like an a.., really :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Zazie, I agree, the apple certainly has a distinctive shape : )

    ReplyDelete
  63. lol Egle, i do that too, and I always feel pleased when I use the ATM and the first code I enter actually works! hahah

    ReplyDelete
  64. You guys still here? The apple has to play into the code somehow. Something punny?

    ReplyDelete
  65. is it maybe a tomato?? XD

    ReplyDelete
  66. lol, i see everyone is as crazy as me here, funny

    ReplyDelete
  67. lol @Zazie - and what does the picture look like to you? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  68. I think a caveat of "language barrier may be a HUGE problem" should be added

    ReplyDelete
  69. Everyone's going to think this is a great game because of all the comments :D

    ReplyDelete
  70. Too many escape games..
My cat jumps on my lap, and I have to resist the urge to seach her for a clue...haha maybe she's got a screwdriver hidden in all that fur :)P

    ReplyDelete
  71. @Egle, according to Babylon, crazy translates to

    (形) 気が狂った; 夢中で; やたら欲しがって(名) 変人

    How about that :-7

    ReplyDelete
  72. LOl Zoe you are right (for the comments), argg i am getting bored....not frightened.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Just reading all your comments is the only thing that makes this game worthwhile! You have no idea how much I love you guys for getting me unstuck...more often that I care to admit! lol

@Tee that is hilarious about the atm. I was playing something last night as was actually all giddy when I found a screwdriver....then I thought...I have no life! lol

    ReplyDelete
  74. Haha, when I translate it back it says

(Make the absorbedly indiscriminate desire that had form) mind upset, and feel (the name); an eccentric

    WOW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. lol, this looks crazy :D

    ReplyDelete
  76. WOW! The party in here is still going on. So many great comments!! ROFL! Suddenly this is a great game :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. okay, ghost has 4 dots, clock is at 3, ghost in pic has two of each shape and there is 1 apple....not that it helped me any!

    ReplyDelete
  78. lmao Luin!!! too funny! txmexicanmartini theres a better chance of me finding a screwdriver in these games than there is in my house...same goes for battaries that work lol

Maybe the game maker forgot to load the side bars to move around the room in this game?

    ReplyDelete
  79. I sometimes wonder if there might be a slip of paper with a code # on it behind one of my pics... have also wondered whether my dog might have the ability to jump up to the ceiling ... she does jump a lot, but not to the ceiling

    ReplyDelete
  80. Game maker forgot something! Joke's on us!

    ReplyDelete
  81. @txmexicanmartini, at least that made me try their first letters, like apcg (apple, painting, clock, ghost).

lol @Tee! There might be tons of views we can't get to because of the forgotten side bars!

    ReplyDelete
  82. I look at my fireplace differently since playing escape games...also my fridge :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. And me under the matress....and pillow.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Over an hour trying to figure this out... Gah!

    ReplyDelete
  85. I often translate letters to numbers when someone tells their name.

    ReplyDelete
  86. made coffee, drank a cup, came back, and here everybody is! Still stuck!

    ReplyDelete
  87. I think I'll take the puppy for a walk (and that's not a euphemism!!)

    Euphemism translates to: (名) 婉曲語法

For those who are remotely interested.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Maybe we should rename this as The Therapy Escape, and have a meeting for Anonymous Escapaholics.
(Talking about that, have you all read zoz's old blog posts? Hilarious!)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Nope, Euphemism doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I often inspect my plants as well...you think it means anything at all that the ghost is flashing/fading?

    ReplyDelete
  91. lol @Ellie.

    ReplyDelete
  92. @ Ellie, yes I have, she's a corker and no mistake....

    ReplyDelete
  93. Ok, now - How many of you look under your rugs repeatedly???

    ReplyDelete
  94. Not me, i am afraid to find too much dirt :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. @Zoe and @Zazie, I'm more afraid to find new life forms.

    ReplyDelete
  96. can someone give me the link to zoz blog? i havent read it, but i want it so much. Her WT in minoto are always more than funny, i think i would like the blog too

    ReplyDelete
  97. @Zoe, I kick things under rugs when my Mum tells me to clean my room lol

    ReplyDelete
  98. wow, I thought I was way too late, but loos like I've just missed some mutual frustration bonding ...

    ReplyDelete
  99. wonder if they're just trying to psych us out...
    nope, "psych" doesn't work either

    ReplyDelete
  100. Ah, but maybe you can use that dirt to dig in to and find a gem!

    ReplyDelete
  101. What is sad is I have company coming in for the weekend and I'm still sitting here trying to figure this out! Granted its only 2pm here...I should be vacuuming the dog hair off my couch...hmmm maybe I'll find a screwdriver! But first I'll have to get the dog treats to get the dog to move! I think I'm a lost cause much like this game! lol

    ReplyDelete
  102. @Egle, find a comment from zoz and click on her name or avatar.

    ReplyDelete
  103. @Egle, just launch any Minoto post- she's bound to have posted lol, then click on her avatar...

    ReplyDelete
  104. Click on her avatar, and then ENJOY!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Right gotta go, puppy's starting to fret.

It was fantastic talking to you all though.

Hopefully something will happen while I'm out...

    ReplyDelete
  106. tried refreshing... doesn't help

    ReplyDelete
  107. CU soon Rambler, btw "fret doesn´t work either :)

    ReplyDelete
  108. Bye @Rambler, and welcome back! We're not going anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  109. It's a lost cause. Gotta go get some stuff done in the "real" world. Was fun playing this non-game!!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Me too Zoe, i am feeling stupid already lol, but it is fun with you all !! I´ll come back a bit later looking if you are out.

    ReplyDelete
  111. i'm gonna go with the theory that the game creator forgot the navigation bars, because the other option is that we all can't figure out something very obvious ... and there's no way I would ever miss something ...

    ReplyDelete
  112. Got totally desparate and read the entire wiki on "The Scream" and actually found it really interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  113. i think this page really needs forum or sth like that, because we are not really talking about the game :)
BTW has anyone read the Comment Posting Rules?

    ReplyDelete
  114. Well, I just realised that I stopped trying a while ago. Moving on with other things. Who knows, maybe someone will get the solution in a dream tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  115. @Egle, there is a chat-box on top of the page for this purpose. And, yep... I know about the rules, but games like this one must be excluded from the rules, right?

    ReplyDelete
  116. @Ellie but there are usually no people in chat box or i have no idea what they are talking about.
And of course, i agree, that the rules are not for this game :)

    ReplyDelete
  117. I'm just wondering which two people rated this game "2 stars"? HOw do we have enough infor to rate it? Was it for good use of a mauve color palette?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Am I the only one who can't let go of this? It's seriously going to haunt me all day. :s

    ReplyDelete
  119. okay, 6 people have now rated this game. Which 6 of you are out and how? *hands on hips-tapping foot*
Maybe just rating the comments? (which deserve all 5 stars if you ask me)

    ReplyDelete
  120. I'm crossing my fingers for you to solve it @mgkanda! I closed the game for today (quick to catch up again if necessary).

    ReplyDelete
  121. I shouldn't get too far ahead without you. :) Probably dream of this ghost all night long

    ReplyDelete
  122. Okay, back from walking the puppy, by God the weather is terrible, it's supposed to be the middle of summer, but here in the NE of England it's more like a bleak and blustery wet November night. Must be something to do with the Tall Ships we had here last week.

Anyhoo, I digress. Not much progress made here I see, actually, there's none at all lol.
Gonna try some of the other games posted today and check back later..

    ReplyDelete
  123. Stumbled upon a Turkish site and read some comments. lol, they think we're funny apparently. Happy to amuse! Unless they don't and my translator's just mean. :s

    ReplyDelete
  124. i am amusing myself - it's funny that I keep checking back here expecting you guys to solve this thing.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Where are you MegiPoland???

    ReplyDelete
  126. @mayberrygunslingers lol, I know. I'm in and out too. Keep reopening the game in hopes to find navigation or something changed. Isn't that the very definition of insanity?? XD

    ReplyDelete
  127. Me too, i just came back, but no progress.
I had cut down my PC due to a heavy thunderstorm (which is still here) even no TV, argghh
I will go and read my good book...as in earlier times.
Many hugs and i will see if someone could open the door tormorrow :)
    Hugs to you all !!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Lol...that's funny! I came back, too, and see that others are too. I think it's because usually these games are good ones, and we're hoping it will get fixed!

    Megi - where ARE you??

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  130. Haha Zoe, me too. I've just completed a jigsaw (with help), drank a heap of apple tea ( without help : ) - one of the easier codes) and been bamboozled by the fact that Gazzybug thinks it's Halloween!!
But I see we are no further forward here :(

    ReplyDelete
  131. @small-tool. Good effort mate : )

    ReplyDelete
  132. Translated the site:

    http://translate.google.nl/translate?hl=nl&sl=ja&tl=nl&u=http%3A%2F%2Fosironosiro.web.fc2.com%2Fgamesyuu.html

It says difficult only 1 star (out of 5). 10 seconds escape game.

So weird we are al so stuck.....

    ReplyDelete
  133. By the way, was fun to read the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  134. 10 seconds!!!!!!!!!!

    10 hours more like, hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  135. but if you can go out in 10 seconds, is it worth all the trouble? Seem it only needs the password, lol

    ReplyDelete
  136. Any inspiration out there?

    ReplyDelete
  137. lol small_tool - I tried

    Friday 13

  138. not all of those fit...but I was frustrated!

    ReplyDelete
  139. I just tried all the swear words I know. No luck though : (

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'll try some combinations now : )

    ReplyDelete
  141. the site was talking about weird stuff and escaping in 10 seconds. Maybe that can help you.
Not my type off game, so i'm not helping you with the password. Good luck!!!! Hope you find the correct password soon.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Nope, that didn't work either. I feel better for it though lol

    ReplyDelete
  143. @Yvon, when I translated the texts earlier - fair enough through Google and Babylon, so I can't vouch for them - all I got was variations on scary and frightenining etc...

    ReplyDelete
  144. HAHAHA, I just looked at my last post.

    Frightenining!!!!

Time for bed I think. Goodnight all....

    ReplyDelete
  145. Why don't you post those swear words Rambler?
So we don't have to try them and maybe we can learn some new obscure English ones.
In return I'll give you some Belgian, French and German swear words.

    ReplyDelete
  146. somewhere on the site there was a link to
    http://osironosiro.web.fc2.com/gamesyuu.html

On that site all the games of the maker are listed. At this game it says (when i got it translated) that it is an easy game. Also was talking about weird stuff en escape in 10 seconds.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I can't believe I just returned here too, and in a last desperate try I wrote "open" which of course didn't work. I can't believe I didn't try that until now though. Good night to those who went to bed!

    ReplyDelete
  148. no one got out? Really? That surprises me. The japanese doesn't say much, just "please enter the password".

    The japanese translates as follows:
    これい:frightening
    これいだよ~:it is frightening

Other than that, I see Edvard Munch's Scream (or at least the scream face), a ghost with 4 dots on it fading in and out, and an apple. . . >_<

    ReplyDelete
  149. for what it's worth, this seems to be related to the O-bon festival in Japan. . .

    ReplyDelete
  150. @Ellie - wow, I just did the same thing. I thought maybe it's something really simple, so I typed "open."

If someone figures out the pw at this point, would be interesting!

    ReplyDelete
  151. hahaha! Reading the recent posts. I tried open too! And exit and escape etc...
    @Trisana What's the O-bon festival?

    ReplyDelete
  152. @mgkanda - it's a festival that, depending on the region of Japan, is often celebrated July 13-15 or August 13-15 (today!), and involves putting food in front of images of dead ancestors (parents, etc). . . In some ways it's fairly similar to la día de los muertos in Mexico.

    ReplyDelete
  153. @Trisana Thanks! I decided to go read about it and found it really interesting! It HAS to do with that now that I know what it is. In my reading I saw that they would light fires
(mukae-bi) at entrances to guide the spirits home. Unfortunately that's not the pw.
So far I've gotten some good reading out of this game lol. Read the wiki on "The Scream" earlier. Liked it too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  154. nope - obon or OBON or Obon don't work lol :)

    ReplyDelete
  155. It's not okuri-bi (used to send them back) either. :( Love the learning though

    ReplyDelete
  156. i wonder. . . do those dots on the ghost's outline look like an arrow to anyone else???

    ReplyDelete
  157. I was thinking that earlier but, got nowhere. You mean pointing NW right?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Trisana,
You had way too much influence from Sakura lately. Not everything is an arrow.
But then again, if it is then it's pointing at the tomato/apple.

    ReplyDelete
  159. hmmm, well ringo and tomato don't work. neither does apple, for that matter. . .

    ReplyDelete
  160. Now I can't let go of the Obon thing. It would just make sense if it were the fire to guide them either in or out, the name of the lanterns they send them off with or something like that. I'm afraid I'm stuck on that lol. I'll come see where everyone is in a little while.

    ReplyDelete
  161. lol @Zoe! It took us some time to try that ;)

Maybe I should use the "prize" I got from small-tool in the Seven Rooms 8/8/10.
I tried to recall some riddle related to this game, and at least this one has apples lol:

In a contest, a red, a green, a yellow, and a brown apple have been placed in four closed boxes (one apple per box). People may guess which apple is in which box. 123 people participate in the contest. When the boxes are opened, it turns out that
    - 43 people have guessed none of the apples correctly.
    - 39 people have guessed one apple correctly.
    - 31 people have guessed two apples correctly.

The Question: How many have guessed three apples correctly? How many have guessed four apples correctly?

    ReplyDelete
  162. Found on another site under the game description:
    *Cheats*
    Tip 1
    In other words

The first thought I could not pass the input
Laughed the moment the answer is found
    It is kind of fun

    ReplyDelete
  163. so...we're closing in on 200 comments in a game we can't play. How sick are we??

    But it's fun!

And, I agree - if a game is posted that we can't play, all bets are off for the posting rules. We're just sayin.....

    ReplyDelete
  164. I went out to dinner, then for ice cream, and now I'm back home ... and you guys are still failing ... and still here ... I love it!

    ReplyDelete
  165. Tricky riddle Ellie.
Tried all kind of calculations of probability till I realised what the trick is.
I won't give the answer because I don't wanna give the next riddle, but the trick is in the first part of your question.
    Anyway; very good one.

    ReplyDelete
  166. why, 10 of course, Ellie. Because if you guess 3 correctly, you guess all 4 correctly. :)

    ReplyDelete
  167. Congrats @small-tool and @Tris!

@Tris, to quote small-tool in the Seven Rooms game:
"you won the opportunity to place a riddle on the comment section of the next game. But only if it's a silly game like this one and of course the riddle has to have some kind of association with the game."

    ReplyDelete
  168. lol @Tris, the answer IS right in front of our faces here. Nowhere to turn.
But I do think the hint from that other site is interesting. Some kind of a word play with what we see? A funny answer??

  170. holy cow Trisana...I still think about that puzzle in suicune's game! I would love for suicine to make another game, but never see him on this site anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Zoe, you played? His second game or his first? And yeah, from what I hear he got mad at Yalcin and left this site. he's not on Nord anymore either, only one he still really plays is Doorcracker.

  172. @trisana..I only played one of the games..didn't know there was another! I think it must have been the second one. Do you remember the names of the games?

The one I played had around 700 comments and was VERY good. I'd love to encourage him to make more!

  175. it's sad that that apple and the ghost made me think of shinigami. . . (unfortunately, shinigami isn't the answer. . .)

    ReplyDelete
  176. i wish there was someone to brainstorm with. . .

    we have a specter/ghost/phantom/yookai/shade etc.
a scream. I scream (ice cream?) maybe?
    A clock - 3 o'clock (or 15:00)?
An apple. . .shinigami only eat apples. . . (wait, that's DeathNote. >_<) Possibly a tomato, tho.

    ReplyDelete
  177. I'm at least half a brain ... the 4 dots and 3'o clock HAVE to be very significant. "the scream" may just be a random spooky pitcher in this game, and the apple might just be a random object ...

    ReplyDelete
  178. i'm reaching now, but. . .

the tomato is considered a "nightshade" plant. . . if we take the clock to mean 3 in the morning (the witching hour), then that ghost can be called a "nightshade" as well . . . but for the scream . . .hmmm . . .

    ReplyDelete
  179. wow ... that's impressive reasoning.
Do we have a translation for the Japanese words on the actual keypad?

    ReplyDelete
  180. yeah. Best I can read, it means "please enter the password" and the button says "please enter" Good evening, by the way.

    ReplyDelete
  181. hi to you, as well. i think I recognize your name from Doorcracker (my user name is pjbubba over there).

i googled nightshade, found a plant with that name, but it wasnt the code

    ReplyDelete
  182. no, not belladonna. too many letters. like i said, it was reaching.

And yay doorcracker! :D yeah, i'm one of the crazy people that stay up late/get up way early to catch a door live.

    ReplyDelete
  183. i just found doorcracker in the past few weeks - but I've caught up and ranked 21st I think
at what time of day do the doors get posted? I'm USA central time (Texas)

    ReplyDelete
  184. texas? Boo hiss (sorry, I go to school at the University of Oklahoma. . .)! Somewhere from 2-4 central, usually (in the morning). Sometimes later than that. 2:30-3:30 has been typical. . . this last door was out around 4, tho.
