ReplyDelete"exceptionally good hearing" is an understatement. The Barn Owl has the most acute hearing of any animal and can catch a mouse in a large area in total darkness. The Barred Owl can hear a mouse moving under 3 feet of snow!
ReplyDelete@ Kitty If it's the one I was hung up on it's on the very end of a twig sort of sticking up from the ground. I spent 30 minutes looking for it.
