Yep george, down and out, but still here and trying.
ReplyDeleteImagine they are written on the backs of the corresponding stamps, smalltool. Then arrange by value.
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the R? Change that to the right thing and use all of it here: http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/
ReplyDeleteThanks george - i was making it way too complicated for myself!!
ReplyDeleteGuys, I'm sorry...but I really need to go to sleep now..see you all in one of the next games...or riddles :)
ReplyDelete@small-tool hexadecimals
ReplyDeleteI will stay and help some. Have about 10 minutes. Hit me with your best shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks george.
ReplyDeleteThat 7 looked like a lowercase r to me.
On 20 now.
out yet?
ReplyDeleteAnd out too.
ReplyDeleteThought I was going 'mad' but I wasn't.
Thanks for all the great help.
And in your time-limit of 10 minutes mgkanda.
ReplyDeleteSo I didn't keep you up.
Now it's time for some serious drinking.
Woots for smalltool. Pleasure headdesking with you guys. ^^
ReplyDeleteYay! Cheers and gongtats!
ReplyDelete@Emily lol...for sure! Looking forward to doing it again sometime! I'm going to start Creo's riddle tomorrow, I think. Sunday's always a slow game day here. Why not? It'll be fun!
ReplyDeleteOkay, goodnight people.
ReplyDeletePlease everyone come back tomorrow and help me.. I am only on 13!
ReplyDeleteThanks girls.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll try that one tomorrow too.
Tomorrow EnJoy?
ReplyDeleteIt's already tomorrow here, but we can make it an all nighter if you want to finish now.
any hints on the quarry for level 16?
ReplyDeletenvm just got it
ReplyDeleteQuarry = prey look to the left. What's the picture telling you?
ReplyDeletelol too late.
ReplyDelete@EnJoy I said I was starting Creo's tomorrow but, forgot that I'm going pumpkin hunting tomorrow with the small people. (how does one forget that exactly?) I won't be gaming at all tomorrow probably but, I'll check in from time to time if your playing. :D

ReplyDelete@EnJoy I couldn't join them either but, I can tell you it's an illness and that it's upside down. I had them all three open and layered them and sort of mentally joined them lol.
ReplyDeleteThink of the movie "Sybil". Remember that one?
@mgkanda.. thanks so much.. will work on this tomorrow.. my son just got home from college!
ReplyDeleteOh yay!!! Have a nice reunion! Talk to you soon!!!
ReplyDeletecan someone please help with level 19. i'm really confused about source codes and finding the other missing part
ReplyDelete@deadlyblackheart If you right click the background and view page source you'll find the name of the image. It will be a .jpg. We did this earlier with images. Instead of just a word replace with the whole image name including the .jpg over the .htm to view a new image. Then you'll see a code corresponding with the stamps and take it to your fave hexadecimal decoder to get to 20. :)
ReplyDeleteoops...take note of new image and then put stamps in order monetarily and theeeeeeeeen take it to the decoder. sry a little drunk now lol. ;P
ReplyDelete#15: You know, it's not that it's easy - it's simple, but not easy.
ReplyDeleteyou have to put SOME of the words on the left together....that's all I'm saying...use the pic for help.
er, on the RIGHT, that is....
ReplyDeleteCompletely stuck on 15. Not understanding the hint about using the cards on the left. Can anyone help?
ReplyDeletesome of the words on the right form to make a new word...but only three of them...
ReplyDeletewhen you get #16, lemme know.
ReplyDeleteYep I'm an idiot. Thanks @SoCal. On 16 now.
ReplyDeleteOk got 16 onto 17.
ReplyDeleteshare what you got for 16, cuz I must be dense as lead.
ReplyDeleteSure. I just googled those clues to get the answers then unscrambled letters in the darkened boxes. 6 across is an alternate spelling which is given on the wikipedia page for the animal. Let me know if you need some more hints than that.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely no clue for 17.
ReplyDeleteOy, thanks for that, I was pulling my hair out.
ReplyDelete#17 - Conan Doyle is the hint - think of one of the characters in his book series.
Got it. Thanks. Now on to 18. Almost there!
ReplyDeleteGot 18. Now on to 19.
ReplyDeleteStuck on 19. Not getting anything coherent from the decoding of the letters/numbers from the picture.
ReplyDeleteNm got 19, now 20.
ReplyDeletenot getting 19 - hint??? Can't get the book picture
ReplyDeleteSo Cal Peeper,
ReplyDeleteIf you come back; The normal picture you see is called s***psA.jpg
Well if it's called 'A' then there's probably another picture too.
is anybody still here? i stopped yesterday after solving #6 and now i'm complete out... no idea for #7 (what a shame) i anagramed his name but don't get the solution...
ReplyDeletethere's no hint in the comments for #7, nobody had problems with #7, why me? i feel soooooo stupid...
ReplyDeleteSabine,
ReplyDeleteYou have to look up where the phrase "mad as hatter comes" from.
They were poisoned by something.
Hey Sabine, just google why hatters were mad...or wiki the Mad Hatter
ReplyDeleteOMG... yessss.... thanks so much @small-tool, you are my hero today (lewis "its all in his name" drove me crazy, because i thought its an anagram)
ReplyDeletesmalltool - thanks! the obvious answer always alludes me.
ReplyDeletecourse, now I've got to figure out the remainder...
ok, let me get this right. Currently, the colored face of the stamps are not in denominational order.
ReplyDeleteShould the blk/white back image be flopped, as if you were turning over the stamps?
And after that, THEN put the colored stamps in denominational order, thereby getting the correct order of the black and white image?
phew.
#19 Sheesh, finally!!!
ReplyDeleteBTW, you don't have to flip the back numbers, just put them in order.
#20 is a bit anti-climatic, with no difficult puzzle to solve...one last word to solve this crazy thing!
ReplyDeleteAnyone still here??? Need help with 17. Have read all clues here and on Riddle-x site. Apparently I'm missing the obvious. Help? Anyone? Please??
ReplyDeletePOP. Got it. Slamming head on wall.

ReplyDelete@gwen.hill, if you got the name of the composer you should find that he has a special keyboard, and you need to convert the text to a normal keyboard.
ReplyDeleteSince PH doesn't work, you can google for a converter.
Or, just use this...

EnJoy,
ReplyDeleteFrom the other comment page (the other game) I understand you finished level 18 now?
need help on 12. I am so lost
ReplyDeleteneed help on page 9, I got all the letters but i cant make a word out of them. pl. help.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
Okay, maybe I've been at this too long but I am completely over #14. I am not the least bit interested in figuring it out for myself and from the tips I've read it sounds like it can't be done without downloading some garbage. Even if I was using my own computer I would not be interested in any code converters that require a download. So can someone either throw me a REAL hint or just send me the answer via email? Again, NOT interested in figuring this particular riddle out on my own.
ReplyDeletehjtalmey@hotmail.com
Thanks!
I don't know why I bother posting when it's obviously a graveyard in here but on the off chance someone reads this, can you please tell me how I'm supposed to rearrange the stamps? I'm not asking for the answer, just the method. I can't click the stamps, I can't drag and drop them, I can't do anything with them. So how are people "rearranging" something that cannot be picked up?
ReplyDelete@jackie, it was a long while since I played this, but as far as I remember you need to "rearrange them" using paper and pencil. You can't actually do anything actively in the computer. You need to find a second pic, order the stamps according to the source and then use it with the 2nd pic. And there was a converter tool involved at the end if i remember correctly.
ReplyDeleteYou don't rearrange them in the game. You have to do it on paper.
ReplyDeleteBy the way you can find a second picture too.
lol Ellie, you heard the cry for help too.
ReplyDeletelol @s-t. New comments is the place to go when stuck somewhere, like in another riddle...
ReplyDeleteWow. After all the screaming, hair pulling and eventual face-palming of level 19, they go and make level 20 the absolute easiest of them all. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteis there anyone who can explain how to solve part 6 ??
ReplyDeleteAnyone knows number 2- I read it using a mirror and Braille and got uerded but still it doesn't work
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on #2- I checked mirror and Braille and got uerded. But it's incorrect. Help
ReplyDeleteNeptune, I don't know if you're still stuck, but you have the first letter wrong.

ReplyDeletefor the ewalrus and the carpenter i need someone to run the right letteters by me.
ReplyDeleteis anyone online?
ReplyDeleteJust started this one again and got #3! So exciting but I wish someone else was playing this..... :(
ReplyDeleteStuck on 4......only hint is "read and see what stands out" and to be honest......just not seeing it....
ReplyDeleteWith all these hints I got to 12 but this conversion I am just not to sure of how to do it. In a prev hint I saw a site for binary conversion but I'm not sure how to put it in there....COME BACK SMART PEOPLE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLvl 12: Sara posted the clue to answer this earlier about binary code and posted a conversion website. It works. I got it!!! On to 13 all by myself but I absolutely am loving this puzzle....day 3.
ReplyDeleteIm on 2 and i can't find the answer. I wrote ?5rd54 and ?5r454 but it shows the following text "Forbidden ....please don't attempt to access the directories :)". HELP!
ReplyDeleteNevermind, i found it
