ReplyDelete@Knot, you recognize them? I have no idea what they even are.....are the names on the poster (can anyone tell me the letters in the one that starts with "K") from the same World of Warcraft thing?
ReplyDeleteHope the whole game isn't WoW themed.

ReplyDeleteEdgar - nope, not the right letters for Lich King. :P Well done, Laura, I was off on the WoW site looking for any special WoW events, silly me.
ReplyDelete@ST, which squares exactly?
ReplyDeleteI don´t know which ones i have to click s-t
ReplyDeleteWhy the 30th of october and not 31 for halloween.
ReplyDeleteOr is then a new game of WoW coming out?
1=top left
ReplyDelete2=top right
4=bottom right
Where is the hint for clicking the right squares?
ReplyDeleteAh - thank you small-tool !
ReplyDeleteStu, like Edgar wrote, on the books.
ReplyDeleteARGH! I was clicking 1 in the first, 2 squares in the second, and all 4 squares in the third.
ReplyDeleteClick here to see the blue drawer solution
ReplyDeleteAhh i got it s-t !!
ReplyDeleteYou have not to click the amount of squares (214) but only the position !!!
Finally out. Thanks for the clarification on blue, ST!
ReplyDeleteI'm now out too - thanks again for all your help!!!
ReplyDeleteHey guys, don't thank me, thank Edgar he did it.
ReplyDeletewasn't too clear I'm afraid s-t.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I miss the rotating puzzle, and the "sink the ships" puzzle deserves a NO! from me
Finally out. The blue drawer took me most of time.
ReplyDeleteThx everybody for your help.
You all are a dreamteam !!!
The battleships game/puzzle could have had potential if it had been the real game battleships playing against the computer or something like a memory game. But yes, now it was just silly.
ReplyDeleteI am unable to "use" the knife on the piano? and therefore really stuck.
ReplyDeleteThat is the tiniest pixel on the piano. It is just somewhere left of the middle on one of the keys.
ReplyDeleteFor whomever having problems using the knife on the piano:
ReplyDeleteClick on this link to see where the spot is.
Where is the hint/clue for the last draw... 8 LETTER WORD???
ReplyDeletegroup project reading music,
ReplyDeleteIt's the poster with october 30th 2010, that will be on a saturday.
30 October 2010 is= SATURDAY
ReplyDeleteFirst, I couldn't find by myselft the pixel where to use the knife, then, I have not the faintest idea of the word of the green key drawer...
ReplyDeleteOh no, oh no, oh no.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to write a walkthrough for this one and opened the game and then I saw it has a built-in walkthrough.
And if that was the case as well when it was just released then I'm very sad.
I don't play those games live (for the same reason I don't play replays and StoneAgesGames live). And although it's still fun to play it alone I like it so much more live.
So Rotuc guys, please don't. Release the walkthrough a (few) day(s) later. You guys make such great games, please don't spoil it.
Hello
ReplyDeleteWe won't spoil the fun for you :) I always make sure the game is finished in EG24 and then i make the walkthrough available. Usually 3-4 hours after the game is released but i can make it available even later. Also i appreciate the feedback i'm getting here to improve my games (i won't do "sink the battleship" type puzzles more :)
Thanks,
Rotuc Team
Oh my God, you guys are so great. You really respond to our comments/feedback.
ReplyDeleteSo if you read our comments you probably also read someone wrote (on one of the latest Rotuc games) something like; "I hope it's not a blasphemy, but I like the Rotuc games now more than Sakura games." and that's a huge compliment. And you guys deserve it.
Well, I could keep on going with making compliments but I think it's clear; you guys rock and thanks for all the great games.
About the walkthrough(s); I was just wondering if it was there when released. But it wasn't, that's cool and even more cool is that you wait with the walkthrough(s) till it's finished 'here on EG24' (that's a compliment for us, thanks). So no need to change the 3-4 hours time delay.
Keep up the good work and thanks again.
ROTUC RULES THROUGH PART 1
ReplyDeleteBED
- Zoom in on the chair under the picture and take the KNIFE (on the floor under the chair).
- Zoom in on the piano on the right and use the knife on the missing G-sharp key (the missing black one) and take the GREEN KEY.
- GO DOWN
BIG DESK WITH PC
- Zoom in on the poster on the right wall and see HINT 1;
1 NORTHREND
2 KALIMDOR
3 EASTERN KINGDOMS
- Zoom in on the clock on the backwall and see HINT 2;
It's 18:45
- Zoom in on the books on the left side of the desk and see HINT 3a;
2 1 4
- Zoom in on the poster on the backwall and see HINT 4;
30 october 2010
- GO DOWN
BED
- Zoom in on the top bed and see HINT 3b;
YELLOW, PINK, GREEN
- Zoom in on the cupboard on the right and open the top drawer with the green key (put the key on the keyhole and then click it again to open it). Under the code are the numbers;
24
33
23
22
18
26
- Now use hint 1. The first number of every two-digit number is the number of the island on the map/poster and the second number the letter of the name of that island. So;
24 is 2 (KALIMOR) and 4 (the fourth letter) is I
33 is 3 (EASTERN KINGDOMS) and 3 (the third letter) is S
23 in the same way is L
22 is A
18 is N
26 is D
- So the code is ISLAND (thanks cece for this breakthrough). Put it in and take the RED KEY .
ROTUC RULES THROUGH PART 2
ReplyDelete- Zoom in on the cupboard on the right and open the middle drawer with the red key. Above the code is clock x 2.
- Now use hint 2 (clock is on 18:45). So clock x 2 = 1845 x 2 = 3690 and that's the code. Put in in and take the YELLOW KEY.
- Zoom in on the cupboard on the right and open the bottom drawer with the yellow key. It's a Sudoku with math. Every row and every column needs only one 1, one 2, one 3 and one 4. And the little numbers are the answer to a little math problem. Here's the way to solve this one;
1) Top left you have to make 4 in just one box so that's 4.
2) Second column, third row again just one box so that's 3.
3) Boxes 2 and 3 on the first row have to make 2 by substracting (there's a - next to the 2). You can't use 4 (is already used in that row) so it has to be 3-1. And because the 3 is already used in step 2 for the second column it has to be 1 and 3 (and not 3 and 1).
4) Now the numbers 4, 1 and 3 are already used on the first row, so in the last column it has to be a 2.
5) The third and the fourth column on the fourth row have to make 2 by multiplying. The only way to do that is 1x2. The 2 in the fourth column is already used (in step 4) so in this row 2 is in the third column and 1 in the fourth column.
6) The first and the second column on the fourth row have to make 12 by multiplying. The only way to do that is 3x4. The 3 is already used in the second column (in step 2) so it's 3 in the first and 4 in the second column.
7) Now we have three numbers in the second column so the only number on the second row of that column has to be 2.
8) In the first column, the second and third row have to make 2 by multiplying and on the second row 2 is already used (in step 7). So it is 1 in the second row and 2 in the third row.
9) In the third column 1 and 4 have to be used on the second and third row. The 1 is already used (step 8) in the second row, so it is 4 on the second row and 1 on the third row.
10) All that's left now is the second and third row in the fourth column and by looking at then numbers already used in those rows it has to be 3 in the second row and 4 in the third row.
So the solution is;
4132
1243
2314
3421
- Put it in and take the BLUE KEY.
- Zoom in on the desk under the bed and open the top drawer with the blue key. And now we're gonna use hints 3a and 3b (thanks Edgar).
3a is 2, 1 and 4 so click the top right square on the first one squares, the top left one the second squares and the bottom right one on the third squares.
3b is Yellow, Pink, Green so make the circles in those colors.
- Take the PINK KEY.
- Zoom in on the desk under the bed and open the middle drawer with the pink key. All you have to do here is make all the boxes black and then make the boxes without an X yellow again.
- Take the BROWN KEY.
- Zoom in on the desk under the bed and open the bottom drawer with the brown key. And now we're gonna use hint 4 (thanks Laura).
The hint was 30 october 2010 and that will be on a saturday, so the code is saturday.
- Put it in and take the GREY KEY.
- GO DOWN
BIG DESK WITH PC
- Use the grey key on the door on the right and you did it.
give me a mild escape game...iam bored
