  80. You're welcome abbazabba34 - let me know if you get a clue for 9a please

    ReplyDelete
  81. i allready tried to google it...i really feel stupid...

    ReplyDelete
  82. Go to the wiki site for grease (the movie) then take the first letter of the songs from the given soundtrack numbers. Then they want the name of the actress who played that character.

    ReplyDelete
  83. oh good grief - I put that name twice and it didn't take - thanks abba --- and @ ... don't feel stupid - here's the link you need http://www.amazon.com/American-Presidential-China-Collection-Philadelphia/dp/0300135939 look at last name of the guy

    ReplyDelete
  84. I am very stuck on 10. It kind of looks familiar though.

    ReplyDelete
  85. thanks jessica!! i allready tried this, but wrote it with two l!

    ReplyDelete
  86. To me 10 looks like it's something from the 60s or 70s but that's just a guess.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Isn't 10 from only fools and horses?

    ReplyDelete
  88. guess I'll have to try again later - time to go

    ReplyDelete
  89. mhh, has anybody the answer for 10?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Yep it was from Only fools and horses. For the answer they want the name of the house in the back.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Great job @small!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Don't know what they want in 10a. Do I have to write out the price in letters?

    ReplyDelete
  93. What's 44?
forty four or fourty four of fourthy four?

    ReplyDelete
  94. the first one, i think.but it´s not my mother tongue

    ReplyDelete
  95. Well, if it's about the car, they sold it for 44.000 pounds, but no matter how I write it (including 'point') I don't get a normal word from those numbers in the riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  96. 10 a look at the numbers in the clue and the show itself, it will spell something they sold this thing in the show use the word point instead of a dot

    ReplyDelete
  97. eveiet,
so with the car for 44.000 pounds I'm on the wrong track?

    ReplyDelete
  98. yes its nothing to do with the car, "ur having a bit of an episode with this one !!!"

    ReplyDelete
  99. ok.. so are we suppose to find out how much they sold a Wa*** for?

    ReplyDelete
  100. No idea how to find it, very stuck on 10a.

    ReplyDelete
  101. small-tool... if you wiki only fools and horses episodes it give you a list of episode titles. with the numbers it spells out "WATCH" but that is as far as I can go.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Ah thanks EnJoy, the answer is on that page as well. On 11 now.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Oh no, not 11 but 10b.
By the way for 10a use pounds in the answer as well.

    ReplyDelete
  104. small tool, it's from a Sci Fi film.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Jonthe(notso)watch(ful), answers were being posted way before I did.

    ReplyDelete
  106. 12 has clues in the source: the image name and the comment.

    ReplyDelete
  107. @cricketer? @jon?

A hint for 12a would be appreciated, lol. please?

    ReplyDelete
  108. I still can't figure out 11 - anyone got a clue for the sci-fi?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. The level I need help for is 13a, not 12a. Silly me. I'll blame Jo-Ann's escapers amnesia for this, lol.

@Jessica, 11 is in a galaxy far far away.

@jillydoc, still stuck at 12a? If you figured out 12, then it should be easy to google the numbers, which by the way, are not numbers but names!

    ReplyDelete
  110. ROFL - I was trying the name of the movie instead of the place - silly me - but thanks Edgar!!! I knew the movie when I saw the picture.

    ReplyDelete
  111. ok - color me stupid - but what exactly is 11a looking for? I've tried everything I know about that movie and can't get past this level

    ReplyDelete
  112. Hi Edgar, nope I'm on plain old 12. Haven't made it to 12a yet.

    ReplyDelete
  113. @ jillydoc google the sourcename for 12 - @ Edgar you get 13 yet?

    ReplyDelete
  114. Yay! got to level 13, thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Erm, hint for 13? I tried all various names of the place with no luck, as well as the movie title. What am I missing?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Finally! but 13a eludes me. too many ways to say one thing! argg

    ReplyDelete
  117. @Jessica, glad you've made it. I'm still stuck in 13a :(

@jillydoc, it sounds like you did it as well! Great! Ehm... is 'taglines' kind of a hint? Hm, if so, I could use another one (?)

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yes Edgar, movie taglines...

    ReplyDelete
  119. Hmm, now stuck on 14...no picture so no source code.

    ReplyDelete
  120. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Welp, I guess this was the end then...no levels after 14? (which is where I'm stuck, but no one is still here....lol

    ReplyDelete
  122. Oh, well. Finally came back to the game and your hint did it just fine for me @jillydoc... thank you so very much! :D

Temp End now. Don't try to get any further jillydoc, this is the farthest this riddle goes until the author adds new levels, if so...

    ReplyDelete
  123. Oh, when I opened the page your comment wasn't here jillydoc, LOL. Well, know that you weren't really alone, but yes... this is the temporary end. Hope there will be more levels soon and to struggle with you on them :)

    ReplyDelete
  124. Thanks for 13a. I wouldn't have got it.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I started again and levels 14 and 14a are not a problem after the huge hint in the pic name.
But what about 15? No idea at all. I can't play as much as I'd want (should?) but I'll check once in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Edgar, the pic name is a clue to where it is. It's a British detective TV series.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Thanks Cricketer, I found hard when I don't have a single idea of something I've never seen before like in this one. I wish some of the levels weren't too "local" if you know what I mean. Fortunately there's you and more people around helping. Will try to solve it later tonight... thanks again.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I see what you mean, it's something I used to watch.

Totally stuck on 16. I'm sure I recognise it but can't place it. It looks American.

    ReplyDelete
  129. That did it cricketer, moving on now but... you're stuck on 16! Well, can't promise I will get there anytime soon, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  130. For anyone else following, ignore articles for the 15a answer.

    ReplyDelete
  131. The house looks quite grand, maybe a lawyer or government official. And who is that in the pic?

Does the wreath mean it's Christmas or Thanksgiving?

    ReplyDelete
  132. cricketer, remember the guy on the Friends cafe? probably another "noone" here as well hm..
all I can say to your questions is a "maybe"

    ReplyDelete
  133. You're right, it probably is a tourist having their photo taken at the location.

Because there aren't any clues in the source or pic name, and people visit as a tourist spot, I think it's one of those we should recognise. A very well known film or TV series. Hmmm...

    ReplyDelete
  134. I think the same. Maybe a very familiar house from a well-known movie, and my googling sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Got it, it's from a very well known US TV series. Wealthy people plotting and scheming.

    ReplyDelete
  136. For 5
    I tried:
    5dirtydancing
    5mountainlakehotel
    5mountainlake
    5themountainlakemotel
    5lake
    5thelakehotel
    and so on and on.
    Nothing ??????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  137. 5 is the name k********s, no apostrophe or capitals.

From what I can remember, none of the answers have 'the' at the front.

    ReplyDelete
  138. OK, I came back to the game. I got past level 16 (thanks again cricketer) and I know the answer to 16a, but I just can't find the right answer to enter!
I need help on this one (LOL, only on this one?) :P

    ReplyDelete
  139. Ooooohhhhh! Make this one my HUGEST POP EVER!!!

After almost a hundred tries and different ways to combine things like kidnapping, death, honeymoon, disappearing, killing, murdering, etc., etc... only one word did it.

    17!

    ReplyDelete
  140. Edgar, I was stuck on 20 too. I had a look on nordinho & on the thread for this riddle there's a good hint on page 5.

    ReplyDelete
  141. anyoe who is still struggling to input an answer you need to delete 'index' then put in 1 and your answer.

i'm stuck on 1a i put in the person who psycho was based on.... am i on the right lines or not??? i is confused xx

    ReplyDelete
  142. @simone,
the answer for 1a is 2-word, being the 1st a 2-letters one and the 2nd a 4-letters one. Make sure you're spelling correctly and that you're not using spaces, uppercase or any special characters.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Thanks again @cricketer!
For the rest following (here) regarding the words in source of level 20, one stand for a color and the other one is an anagram.

    I will tackle 20a later tonight :)

    ReplyDelete
  144. thanks i'm so silly i was putting in 1a before my answer i didnt twig that i was just 1 lol this is the first url game i've played starting to get the hang of it... i think. x

    ReplyDelete
  145. The End after level 22. YAY! :D

Thanks for all the help on this one and again to jon for submitting it!

    ReplyDelete
  146. i am very much stuck on 7a i've googled i've typed in pretty much every name that has ever had china named after them and i'm not getting anywhere.. any help would we muchly greatly recieved. xxx thanx

    ReplyDelete
  147. @simone, for 7a

Maybe your googling already gave you the word you're looking for as the answer. It's 1 word. A surname.

    ReplyDelete
  148. lol i just tried all the surnames. i've been doing this all day now i think i am very stupid, this game is tooo clever for me x

    ReplyDelete
  149. Anyone have a hint for 15a?

    ReplyDelete
  150. Nm...got it.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Hint for what to put for 16a? I think I've tried everything.

    ReplyDelete
  152. @abbazabba34,

I was so stuck on that level too (almost 2 days I think). The answer is just one word. Maybe if you fill the blank? "She was ________"

    ReplyDelete
  153. @Edgar Thanks so much! Do you have a hint for 19a? I thought I was supposed to use the letters for the births and/or deaths on the wiki site for Feb 2nd, but some of the years are missing so I'm completely lost.

    ReplyDelete
  154. @abbazabba34, look for predictions.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Ah thanks @Edgar. I did that, but now I'm not sure what to put for the answer. I've tried a string of s and n for shadow/no shadow, a string of s and w for spring/winter, and a few others, but nothing's working. HELP!

    ReplyDelete
  156. @abbazabba,
This cute thing (Phil) has had something like a 49% of accuracy, and according to him throughout the years some winters are long and some others are short... does this ring any bells with you?

    ReplyDelete
  157. Just checked and I have to correct myself... it's 39% accurate. Not a good weather forecaster eh?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yeah I'm lost. I looked up the wiki site for Phil and I have the predictions for every year but is my answer supposed to be a long string of longs and shorts based on the year or is the pattern of the years supposed to be a hint too? I have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  159. @abbazabba,

    HINTMORSECODEHINT

    ReplyDelete
  160. Finally! Thanks so much @Edgar! Your hints were all great, I'm just an idiot apparently.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I'm baaack! lol Thanks Edgar, glad to have helped, but now I'm stuck on 15a. No idea at all...

    ReplyDelete
  162. @jillydoc, welcome back!!

I'll hint you in a different way:

    TNIHSEDOSIPETNIH

    ReplyDelete
  163. Duh! Thanks Edgar! Can't believe I didn't get that. One of those senior moments! lol
