ReplyDeleteI'm either too old or too young for level 2. That guy doesn't look familiar at all!!!
ReplyDeletelol I know! I was thinking the coffee shop from friends but that guy is not flamiliar like you said.
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like the bar in "Friends"
ReplyDeleteI think it IS the bar in friends - maybe he's a producer or something.
ReplyDeleteDavid Crane produced friends, but that's not it..
ReplyDeleteActually he created it...it was produced by Bright/Kauffman/Crane, but that's not it either
ReplyDeleteoooo I really don't want to go through the whole cast/producers/writers pics on imdb, huge list.

ReplyDeleteLike I would have known that pssst...THANKS daydream!
ReplyDeleteYour very welcome :) Most of these riddle games are like that, just in case you ever want to play anymore. Movies and TV are about the only ones I can do, lol.
ReplyDeleteNope...still can't write over it or enter 1batesmotel.htm in the browser line...takes me nowhere
ReplyDeleteSorry....I still don't get it, do I have to put anything else? Can you just give me the first answer as a whole so I can understand? Thank youuuu xoxox
ReplyDeleteNever mind...I have to go anyway and these aren't too fun to me :) bye
ReplyDeleteAlright Muse
ReplyDeleteAnyone have any clue on number 4?
ReplyDeleteSuppose I will come back when someone has figured it out. Goodluck!
ReplyDeleteAnswer to 4: Wiki "Albert Square." Answer is the fictional name of the borough.
ReplyDeleteDon't ask me how I got that -- I never play these kinds of games, but am pretty bored. LOL!
Isn't the answer to 1a Ed Gein? Doesn't seem to work...
ReplyDeleteHm.. Are u guys still here??

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_EastEnders/List_of_births,_marriages_and_deaths_in_EastEnders
ReplyDeletesharelle, no caps, spaces or punctuation in the answers.
ReplyDelete@sharelle, please do not post answers, only hints. If you aren't sure, e-mail one of us. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteFor 5... K********* ;)
ReplyDeletelol @jon, you like to dance dirty, uh?
ReplyDelete5a is easy once you google the text.
As for 6, it's a Kubrick's classic -- and then again, which Kubrick isn't, right?
6a is something celestial... the "real" something from the page is in Oregon.
ReplyDelete7 was pretty easy for me... a Stallion used to run there.
ReplyDeleteThis is just insane. Absolutely no clue what #5 is.
ReplyDeletebono, when you find out you'll be singing ... you've had the time of your life, no, you never felt like this before.
ReplyDeleteI don´t get it. I know the film for #5, the name of the house.but it doesn´t work.
ReplyDeletehuge spoiler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5mereCM83Y
ReplyDelete... It's just the first word of the place, with no punctuation.
ReplyDeletehey i dont know where to type the answers. i tried clicking everywhere and i dont see where to type .some1 help me .

ReplyDeleteLevel 7 think of a movie with Sly Stallone and name that movie
ReplyDeletethanks EnJoy!
ReplyDeleteSorry EnJoy stuck there too and trying to work while I try to figure it out!
ReplyDelete@ Jessica.. I am really stuck on this one
ReplyDeleteStill having probs with 4a...uggh!
ReplyDeletewhich one is 4a?
ReplyDeletethe Eastenders person who died...think I went thru all the names.
ReplyDelete4a is the person that died in August right? If so - character on the show (wikipedia - deaths on the show)
ReplyDeletelook at the link from jessica
ReplyDeleteIt's February and I don't see dates on any site and I think I have been thru all characters names...frustrating - guess I will have to give up.
ReplyDelete@ Graham think about a light bulb for the last name
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_EastEnders/List_of_births,_marriages_and_deaths_in_EastEnders#Deaths
I did look at that link earlier today and typed all the names in death link...took forever and not wanting to go back and do it again.
ReplyDelete@ Jessica.. another forum use the hint "music" and "greasy music" for the hint for 9a.. I am at a dead end though
ReplyDelete@ graham.. look at my hint then the list of last names.. it is a male
ReplyDelete@ graham look at the guy that was pushed off a flyover and then go down one.
ReplyDeleteI think I just put in last name....ahhhhhh - thank you all - now that I got it it I have to leave...will be back - thx again everyone!
ReplyDeleteok, now im stuck on 7a, which lastname?
ReplyDeletethe last name of the collection owner
ReplyDelete9a is killing me here
ReplyDelete@Jessica do you have a hint for 9?
ReplyDelete9 -- John Travolta and Olivia Newton John
ReplyDelete@ abbazabba34 - yeah - 3 words - travolta and newton learned here
ReplyDeleteare we talking about the white house china?
ReplyDelete@ ... yes - google it
ReplyDelete@ EnJoy have you figured out 9a yet?
ReplyDeleteYep I got it. Thanks Jessica.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome abbazabba34 - let me know if you get a clue for 9a please
ReplyDeleteI got 9a.
ReplyDeletei allready tried to google it...i really feel stupid...
ReplyDeleteGo to the wiki site for grease (the movie) then take the first letter of the songs from the given soundtrack numbers. Then they want the name of the actress who played that character.
ReplyDeleteoh good grief - I put that name twice and it didn't take - thanks abba --- and @ ... don't feel stupid - here's the link you need http://www.amazon.com/American-Presidential-China-Collection-Philadelphia/dp/0300135939 look at last name of the guy
ReplyDeleteI am very stuck on 10. It kind of looks familiar though.
ReplyDeletethanks jessica!! i allready tried this, but wrote it with two l!
ReplyDeleteTo me 10 looks like it's something from the 60s or 70s but that's just a guess.
ReplyDeleteIsn't 10 from only fools and horses?
ReplyDeleteguess I'll have to try again later - time to go
ReplyDeletemhh, has anybody the answer for 10?
ReplyDeleteYep it was from Only fools and horses. For the answer they want the name of the house in the back.
ReplyDeleteGreat job @small!
ReplyDeleteDon't know what they want in 10a. Do I have to write out the price in letters?
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeletealso no idea for 10a
ReplyDeleteWhat's 44?
ReplyDeleteforty four or fourty four of fourthy four?
the first one, i think.but it´s not my mother tongue
ReplyDeleteWell, if it's about the car, they sold it for 44.000 pounds, but no matter how I write it (including 'point') I don't get a normal word from those numbers in the riddle.
ReplyDeletealso stuck on 10a
ReplyDelete10 a look at the numbers in the clue and the show itself, it will spell something they sold this thing in the show use the word point instead of a dot
ReplyDeleteeveiet,
ReplyDeleteso with the car for 44.000 pounds I'm on the wrong track?
yes its nothing to do with the car, "ur having a bit of an episode with this one !!!"
ReplyDeleteok.. so are we suppose to find out how much they sold a Wa*** for?
ReplyDeleteNo idea how to find it, very stuck on 10a.
ReplyDeletesmall-tool... if you wiki only fools and horses episodes it give you a list of episode titles. with the numbers it spells out "WATCH" but that is as far as I can go.
ReplyDeleteAh thanks EnJoy, the answer is on that page as well. On 11 now.
ReplyDeleteok, have to go now
ReplyDeleteOh no, not 11 but 10b.
ReplyDeleteBy the way for 10a use pounds in the answer as well.
Ok now on 11.
ReplyDeleteNo idea on 11 ?
ReplyDeletesmall tool, it's from a Sci Fi film.
ReplyDeleteA classic Sci Fi Film
ReplyDeleteJonthe(notso)watch(ful), answers were being posted way before I did.
ReplyDeleteStuck on level 12!
ReplyDelete12 has clues in the source: the image name and the comment.
ReplyDelete@cricketer? @jon?
ReplyDeleteA hint for 12a would be appreciated, lol. please?
Yeah, I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteI still can't figure out 11 - anyone got a clue for the sci-fi?
ReplyDeleteSorry. I don't know what I was thinking. The level I need help for is 13a, not 12a. Silly me. I'll blame Jo-Ann's escapers amnesia for this, lol.
ReplyDelete@Jessica, 11 is in a galaxy far far away.
@jillydoc, still stuck at 12a? If you figured out 12, then it should be easy to google the numbers, which by the way, are not numbers but names!
ROFL - I was trying the name of the movie instead of the place - silly me - but thanks Edgar!!! I knew the movie when I saw the picture.
ReplyDeleteok - color me stupid - but what exactly is 11a looking for? I've tried everything I know about that movie and can't get past this level
ReplyDeletenevermind - I got it
ReplyDeleteHi Edgar, nope I'm on plain old 12. Haven't made it to 12a yet.
ReplyDelete@ jillydoc google the sourcename for 12 - @ Edgar you get 13 yet?
ReplyDeleteYay! got to level 13, thanks!
ReplyDeleteErm, hint for 13? I tried all various names of the place with no luck, as well as the movie title. What am I missing?
ReplyDeleteFinally! but 13a eludes me. too many ways to say one thing! argg
ReplyDeleteyay taglines!
ReplyDelete@Jessica, glad you've made it. I'm still stuck in 13a :(
ReplyDelete@jillydoc, it sounds like you did it as well! Great! Ehm... is 'taglines' kind of a hint? Hm, if so, I could use another one (?)
Yes Edgar, movie taglines...
ReplyDeleteHmm, now stuck on 14...no picture so no source code.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWelp, I guess this was the end then...no levels after 14? (which is where I'm stuck, but no one is still here....lol
ReplyDeleteOh, well. Finally came back to the game and your hint did it just fine for me @jillydoc... thank you so very much! :D
ReplyDeleteTemp End now. Don't try to get any further jillydoc, this is the farthest this riddle goes until the author adds new levels, if so...
Oh, when I opened the page your comment wasn't here jillydoc, LOL. Well, know that you weren't really alone, but yes... this is the temporary end. Hope there will be more levels soon and to struggle with you on them :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for 13a. I wouldn't have got it.
ReplyDeleteI started again and levels 14 and 14a are not a problem after the huge hint in the pic name.
ReplyDeleteBut what about 15? No idea at all. I can't play as much as I'd want (should?) but I'll check once in a while.
Edgar, the pic name is a clue to where it is. It's a British detective TV series.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cricketer, I found hard when I don't have a single idea of something I've never seen before like in this one. I wish some of the levels weren't too "local" if you know what I mean. Fortunately there's you and more people around helping. Will try to solve it later tonight... thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean, it's something I used to watch.
ReplyDeleteTotally stuck on 16. I'm sure I recognise it but can't place it. It looks American.
That did it cricketer, moving on now but... you're stuck on 16! Well, can't promise I will get there anytime soon, lol.
ReplyDeleteFor anyone else following, ignore articles for the 15a answer.
ReplyDeleteThe house looks quite grand, maybe a lawyer or government official. And who is that in the pic?
ReplyDeleteDoes the wreath mean it's Christmas or Thanksgiving?
cricketer, remember the guy on the Friends cafe? probably another "noone" here as well hm..
ReplyDeleteall I can say to your questions is a "maybe"
You're right, it probably is a tourist having their photo taken at the location.
ReplyDeleteBecause there aren't any clues in the source or pic name, and people visit as a tourist spot, I think it's one of those we should recognise. A very well known film or TV series. Hmmm...
I think the same. Maybe a very familiar house from a well-known movie, and my googling sucks.
ReplyDeleteGot it, it's from a very well known US TV series. Wealthy people plotting and scheming.
ReplyDeleteFor 5
ReplyDeleteI tried:
5dirtydancing
5mountainlakehotel
5mountainlake
5themountainlakemotel
5lake
5thelakehotel
and so on and on.
Nothing ??????????????????
5 is the name k********s, no apostrophe or capitals.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can remember, none of the answers have 'the' at the front.
OK, I came back to the game. I got past level 16 (thanks again cricketer) and I know the answer to 16a, but I just can't find the right answer to enter!
ReplyDeleteI need help on this one (LOL, only on this one?) :P
Ooooohhhhh! Make this one my HUGEST POP EVER!!!
ReplyDeleteAfter almost a hundred tries and different ways to combine things like kidnapping, death, honeymoon, disappearing, killing, murdering, etc., etc... only one word did it.
17!
hehehe, I loved 19a!
ReplyDelete...stuck on 20 :(
ReplyDeleteEdgar, I was stuck on 20 too. I had a look on nordinho & on the thread for this riddle there's a good hint on page 5.
ReplyDeleteanyoe who is still struggling to input an answer you need to delete 'index' then put in 1 and your answer.
ReplyDeletei'm stuck on 1a i put in the person who psycho was based on.... am i on the right lines or not??? i is confused xx
@simone,
ReplyDeletethe answer for 1a is 2-word, being the 1st a 2-letters one and the 2nd a 4-letters one. Make sure you're spelling correctly and that you're not using spaces, uppercase or any special characters.
Thanks again @cricketer!
ReplyDeleteFor the rest following (here) regarding the words in source of level 20, one stand for a color and the other one is an anagram.
I will tackle 20a later tonight :)
thanks i'm so silly i was putting in 1a before my answer i didnt twig that i was just 1 lol this is the first url game i've played starting to get the hang of it... i think. x
ReplyDeleteThe End after level 22. YAY! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the help on this one and again to jon for submitting it!
i am very much stuck on 7a i've googled i've typed in pretty much every name that has ever had china named after them and i'm not getting anywhere.. any help would we muchly greatly recieved. xxx thanx
ReplyDelete@simone, for 7a
ReplyDeleteMaybe your googling already gave you the word you're looking for as the answer. It's 1 word. A surname.
lol i just tried all the surnames. i've been doing this all day now i think i am very stupid, this game is tooo clever for me x
ReplyDeleteAnyone have a hint for 15a?
ReplyDeleteNm...got it.
ReplyDeleteHint for what to put for 16a? I think I've tried everything.
ReplyDelete@abbazabba34,
ReplyDeleteI was so stuck on that level too (almost 2 days I think). The answer is just one word. Maybe if you fill the blank? "She was ________"
@Edgar Thanks so much! Do you have a hint for 19a? I thought I was supposed to use the letters for the births and/or deaths on the wiki site for Feb 2nd, but some of the years are missing so I'm completely lost.
ReplyDelete@abbazabba34, look for predictions.
ReplyDeleteAh thanks @Edgar. I did that, but now I'm not sure what to put for the answer. I've tried a string of s and n for shadow/no shadow, a string of s and w for spring/winter, and a few others, but nothing's working. HELP!
ReplyDelete@abbazabba,
ReplyDeleteThis cute thing (Phil) has had something like a 49% of accuracy, and according to him throughout the years some winters are long and some others are short... does this ring any bells with you?
Just checked and I have to correct myself... it's 39% accurate. Not a good weather forecaster eh?
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm lost. I looked up the wiki site for Phil and I have the predictions for every year but is my answer supposed to be a long string of longs and shorts based on the year or is the pattern of the years supposed to be a hint too? I have no idea.
ReplyDelete@abbazabba,
ReplyDeleteHINTMORSECODEHINT
Finally! Thanks so much @Edgar! Your hints were all great, I'm just an idiot apparently.
ReplyDeleteI'm baaack! lol Thanks Edgar, glad to have helped, but now I'm stuck on 15a. No idea at all...
ReplyDelete@jillydoc, welcome back!!
ReplyDeleteI'll hint you in a different way:
