  5. Strange game... have peculiar items/inventory here.
I got a circuit board, is that your ID @Werner?

    ReplyDelete
  6. No, not the same item. Got the ID card now.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Werner is, was, and always shall be, me =)
Got circuit board, used ID card, no sign of SD =(

    ReplyDelete
  8. Used the ID card to open the door in front. I'm in a new room.

    ReplyDelete
  9. C1317 came out of one of the papers on the floor. Clicked on it and it was gone? Was that another item? I don't see it in inventory. Hm...

    ReplyDelete
  10. Use ID card again on door in room two...

    ReplyDelete
  11. And there's the SD... Yay...
You always know you're doing well in an escape game when you find the screw driver =)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Found a SD inside of the rooms and used it in the other one on one computer. Put the circuit board and now i need a PW.
Not sure i like this game...

    ReplyDelete
  13. LOL @Werner, that's right. It gives you some sense of confidence :P

    ReplyDelete
  14. I am :)

The left computer in one of the rooms has a PW_LIST file in it. Run the SCAN option and a couple of codes appear and I could click on them as well.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Used the SCAN again with the Project Log again (the thing on the floor in the main room) and the last entry gave me more numbers.

  16. 3E14 (from left terminal) works on computer in 'Life is pointless' room...
Heh, as an existentialist I -really- like that comment...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh, I see. 3E14 is in inventory indeed, but under the COMPLETE PASSWORDS tab. And if you click on PATTERN MATCHING you can see the other codes (or parts of PW's) to be combined, maybe to get new passwords.
    Thanks @Werner.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Used the PW on the computer, but couldn't do anything (??)
    It's ERROR everywhere!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Two other passwords now... Orieno and 538B...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Take that back. I did repair something but, getting tired of going in circles looking for what i repaired.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 3E14 opens 'stuck' door...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Forgot completely about that door @Werner, thanks again.
Geez, maybe I need some coffee.

    ReplyDelete
  23. OK, let's escape this one now. The word AXON on the wall outside worked as the password for the comp there; used it to CONNECT the bridge and moved to the other room.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Dagnabbit...

Gotta head off pick up the GF...

Just when I was having fun =)

    Enjoy, Edgar...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Enjoy as well @Wer!
    *feeling silly saying that, considering...*

    new PW's in this room:
    - 538B on the floor
    - EL281117 in [RET_02] file
    - ORIENO in the board
    - ABCDEF in [mail/Jerry]

    ReplyDelete
  26. The room in front has a comp that needs a cable.
There's another logs device in the room on the left. ABCDEF worked as the PW.

    ReplyDelete
  27. - 1757XNM and 1C1 from the [FILES]

    ReplyDelete
  28. Back to the room after the bridge, removed a panel on the wall with the SD. Got a functional cable... going to use it now.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Now the comp in the next room works, and ORIENO was the PW for it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. And got ACCESS somewhere... looking.

    ReplyDelete
  31. OK, the "do not go beyond this door" is now "beyondable"

    ReplyDelete
  32. I need a disk. ARGH! Going back I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  33. No way I'll get this game, and it gets me more and more bored. Quitting now.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Looks like a very complicated and hi-fi game, better watch out the video WT.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @willem considering the fact that Edgar quit the game and u managed to complete it

    ReplyDelete
  36. Out.... the trick is when you read from the terminals the "Scan"button at the top right finds various pieces of passwords..... combine these pieces of passwords by the first or last couple of letters in the section..... so if you have 657e90.... and 90g75j ........ the 90 of both fit together to form a pattern. use these to progress through the game

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm out too, very painstaking game. You need to collect passwords, combine them in your inventory and by trial and error use them in the consoles. It took me ages as I was continually covering the same ground. Congrats Willem for being the first out, good luck to those that follow.

  38. Loved the music, could listen to it all night, unlike most game music.
Only got to 4 rooms and couldn't figure out anything else to do.

  40. LIGHT EXISTENTIALISM

    YOU CANNOT ESCAPE room
"It's a light. Light...I remember something about light, but...I'm not sure."

    Galaxy view room
"I know how the flesh burns...I have seen it..."

    Throne room
    over throne
    "Light..."
"To those poor souls who dwell in night..."
    "The light...I need to...I don't know"

    over door
    "The light is gone."
    "The light still burns."
"This light will not last much longer. Time is running out."

    IT IS ALL POINTLESS room
"Light...there is a great light somewhere in my thoughts. But is it the light that reveals, or the light that burns?"

    ReplyDelete
  41. I thought it utter boring too...
look at hint, and it takes you to a walk through..
I did about where Edgar got and was bored to tears

    ReplyDelete
  42. I struggled along for a looong while.. but the music was beginning to depress me. Will sit back and play old games while I wait for a nice mindless Minoto, I think (s)

  43. Very slow, but interesting game. I enjoyed it. Out with no help.

I recommend making a map. I think the game would be a lot shorter if I haden't gotten sooo turned around.

This isn't much of an escape game in needing to solve puzzles and codes. It is more of an interactive story that you read on the computer screens you unlock.

    ReplyDelete
  44. For new players:
Make a map if you have a sense of direction like mine.

Inventory is a selection you find when you take your mouse just above the image part of the game screen.

Use scan in the upper right corner of the computer and datapad screens to look for pieces of code.

In your inventory, use the pattern matching (or whatever it is called) to combine pieces of code. See @Southern's nice description above on how to do so.
