    ReplyDelete
  2. i also now the words and the guitar cords for the styx song boat on the river. may create my own mp3 of that

    ReplyDelete
  3. Also, it is by Vesuvius, also not helpful.

What to do with these numbers?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Went shopping, then heating my food. While doing that I went back to lvl 77 and played that game (could open it easily now). Kind of funny and managed to pass all lvls! Well, not getting any further here. Had a look at the group Styx doing the song "Do Things My Way" ("styx is your way"). Will eat my food now.

@bigtank, could you send us a copy of your song later on? :D

    ReplyDelete
  5. @Ellie Smart! Enjoy your meal! I snacked and got out the crock pot for chicken soup for dinner. yummy..

    ReplyDelete
  6. yes no problem, my song come complete with lots of nose blowing, coughing and sneezing lol

    ReplyDelete
  7. If you trace all four letters on all four grids you get two numbers left on each one. Trying to work with it which is probably what Ellie said she already tried and probably a waste of time, but...

    ReplyDelete
  8. ok seriously , the river runs round 9 times, the river through the underworld is your way-to where ?
, the clue says another river, tried anagram of all the rivers no go.why do we have 2 zeros in the fourth box.

    ReplyDelete
  9. lol mk you crack me up. btw where are you . i saw you said you were getting snow again

    ReplyDelete
  10. Still kind of eating but getting into popcorns and stuff like that. Yep @mk, tried that and didn't get any further. After lots of googling, staring and thinking I have no clue whatsoever what to do with these numbers. Tried to find ciphers with number grids but none that I found makes sense. What's the numbers for?? What to do with them?? Starting to sound desperate....?

    ReplyDelete
  11. @bigtank, I guess the whole world is snowy... here in Sweden we got lots today and I defenitely hoped for the winter to be over by now. Maybe next week.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I saw your many method

and i can tell u , there is a one correct method that you ever tried already

but do not care if number is more than 26 , it is circle :P

    ReplyDelete
  13. Thanks @fielveredus... will think again about all the things we tried and use the circle instead of adding. Hm....

    ReplyDelete
  14. @Ellie I am very desperate. I've had my feelers out on Nord too. kaankanat is almost here and Mishu too, so hopefully we'll get some help soon. Hoping for the return of @small soon too.

@bigtank I'm in the icy cold wonderland that is Michigan at the moment. Which is quite an adjustment having lived most of my life in California and part in Hawaii. I'm FREEZING! ...and a little bored lol.

    ReplyDelete
  15. circle mean

    27 =a

    ReplyDelete
  16. so if it was 26 it would be a again, i new the nine circles would be important.cold here snowing in scotland but hopefuly will not get thdown to us in yorkshire

    ReplyDelete
  17. @fielveredus AHA!!! Thank you!!! We'll get it in no time now! :D

    ReplyDelete
  18. Now I really wish my previous notes weren't such a mess!! I'll have to go through our comments again then see what I did before and do it again...

    ReplyDelete
  19. I just wish I know which way to read them. Left to right? Each grid as one number? :s

    ReplyDelete
  20. Haha!!! Got it :D I DID the right thing before... except going in a circle!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I am on level 79 with a fresh brain now!

    ReplyDelete
  22. @mk, each grid = one letter. Then add and do the conversion.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @Ellie YAY!!! @kaankanat Perfect timing!!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  24. The way to do it is in my last comment on the previous page.

    ReplyDelete
  25. omg getting somewhere and i have to go for a while .leave me some big hints ,

    ReplyDelete
  26. Got another gem on 80. I hope I have them all now.

    ReplyDelete
  27. :s Got a bunch of consonants. is it the first two letters in the top two grids left to right?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I see I just got back on the right time.
    On level 80 now.
    Thanks Fielveredus.

And I see it's already solved by somebody.

Well, we can still beat Nordinho, right?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes @mk. One in each grid, go left to right, top to bottom... then add them all and start counting in a loop. No anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well, I guess we're gonna use our gems now

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'll try again later. Gotta go for a bit. Thanks again @fiel and @Ellie! :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. And there is a gem on level 80, again a number 3.
    So we have 2, 3, 3, 4, 5 and 5, right?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Welcome back @st! It seems we need 7 gemstones (click the pic) and I'm glad I've got them all... even if I dont remember where I got the e******.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @st, I have number 6 as well. It was from lvl 78.. its there in the letter grid.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ooops, sorry.
    We have 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5 and 6.
Hope it's enough (hope we didn't miss one).

    ReplyDelete
  36. I still stuck on 79. I got a bunch of consonants too. :(

    a mail would be helpful.

    ReplyDelete
  37. 80 is not too hard (and indeed not easy though)

I hope you can solved it.

everything in this level is make sense and it's a clue itself.

Good Luck , It's about 3am in Thailand

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hm... I was pretty sure the belt of deltora would give me the right numbers but nothing happened...

    ReplyDelete
  39. Mailed you Kaankanat.

Thanks for staying with us that late and giving us those great hints Fielveredus.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Sent you an email @kaankanat.

    ReplyDelete
  41. belt of deltora!?
Where did you get that from Ellie!?

And how did you do it so fast? I haven't done anything yet, just finished putting all the information on paper.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oops, must have entered the gems wrong. Got a clue now.

    ReplyDelete
  43. ok i am trying to catch up now not doing too well, do you add up all the numbers and covert in each box

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lol @st, I googled "belt of gemstones"... together with the names of the stones we have and it was right there.

    ReplyDelete
  45. thanks also ellie and bigtank for mails on 79. I didnt use them, small tool was faster than you. But thank you anyway. :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. @bigtank, are you talking about 79?
Yes, add the numbers that are within each letter... one letter per grid. Then convert them separately to 4 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I got some letters starting with G.
Is that what you have as well Ellie?

    ReplyDelete
  48. lol kaanat me email was to tell you not what to do am still stuck myself, you can forward me s-t email if you like that would help

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yes @st thats what I have. Not sure how to work with them though.

    ReplyDelete
  50. @big, sent you an email too... you might get may lol.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh come on guys, let's do this.
This will be the very first time in history we're gonna beat Nordinho in a riddle game (that's if the only one who did solve it now, is that Israelian guy, who was first in every series).

No offense Kaankanat. I know you're on Nordinho too, but somehow I consider you as one of the EG24 team too.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ok, we should probably do something starting from the star in the middle, using the letters from the gems. But how...? The third letter from the clue isnt even in the grid. Hm...

    ReplyDelete
  53. thankyou ellie, i seem to spend a lot of my time in this riddle slapping my head, everything is so obvious when you know the answer, as for the gems i have missed a load, got 4 that s-t mailed me earlier but thats it

    ReplyDelete
  54. @bigtank, in the last comment to you I meant *many, not may... but that's not important at all. The thing to focus on now is: how on earth do we use the clue from the gems in the letter grid!?!?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I am sorry, bigtank. I thought it is a help mail. Sent you a mail.

on 80; I use the order of deltora belt. But nothing happen!

    ReplyDelete
  56. @bigtank, sent you a gem-mail.

    ReplyDelete
  57. @kaankanat, deltora belt is correct. Try to enter the numbers of the gems again. Nothing happened for me the first time either. Maybe a small mistake?

    ReplyDelete
  58. maybe it is just the colours ellie.sorry watching some friends playing rugby on sky so not realy concentrating. need to get this finished

    ReplyDelete
  59. We got 7 letters, just as many as the gems. Maybe no importance, but we didnt use the "extra words" of the gems yet, like carat for diamond etc.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @ellie thanks. I found letters.

    ReplyDelete
  61. And back again.
And yes, I was just wondering about the extra words too, but I'm missing the extra word from Lapizlazuli.
    Did somebody get that?

    ReplyDelete
  62. No @st... I thought it was just named lapiz azul hmm... maybe it's lapiz lazuli, but that's not what I got from the source bakc then.
    Still no good idea here.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Please, dears,
Thank you @smalltool for help level 75

I need URLs previous levels to get level 76...
When I catch level 30, going to 40, comes to imput the data to HOF ...
    sorry to interrupt you guys.

    tks...

    ReplyDelete
  64. What about the text;

Believe in your honor and the truth of nature too.

That and the colors of the letters we didn't use yet.

Btw. Am I the only one being excited about maybe beating Nordinho (and again; nothing hateful, just friendly rivalry).

    ReplyDelete
  65. @lulu, you are not interrupting!! Glad to see you here again!! Sent you an email.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @s-t, that is exciting indeed... I just wish I could feel like I'd get this soon. Still feeling kind of lost. The letters from the gems are quite close on the keyboard, but that's probalby very much a coincidence.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hi @Ellie, thank you...

    Going to open it....:smile

    ReplyDelete
  68. could the truth of nature be something to do with earth wind andd fire, fire opal sprang to mind

    ReplyDelete
  69. back for a bit and going comment cruising. Thanks @bigtank for saving me. I was using the wrong numbers lol. :s

    ReplyDelete
  70. oh mk i am glad you are back we all need to finish this together

    ReplyDelete
  71. I think so too @bigtank. Do we still have @kaankanat here with us? And where the heck is @Ruff?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Besides what I said about the text (and the letter colors) we didn't use yet;

Believe in your honor and the truth of nature too.

    There's also fielveredus his comment;

everything in this level is make sense and it's a clue itself.

So I guess we don't have to google, but just trying to be smart with all the information we have.
And yep, that's a problem right now; being smart (on a friday night).

    ReplyDelete
  73. I'm feeling the same... we need to finish this together... and wondering about Ruff too! We're many here, but all of us needed to solve this!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Lol @st!! I know the feeling :) Well, trying to be smart but keep staring at it. It bugs me that there isnt a J in the grid. How to use the letters???

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hm... just noticed there are 7 rows and 7 columns too. We have 7 gems, 7 letters... help!

    ReplyDelete
  76. @mk I am still here, working on 80.

    ReplyDelete
  77. ok here is what i have, diamond - 3-white letters
    emerald 3 green letters
    ruby 6 red letters
sort of thought i had something then but there are 7 blue letters, forget it

    ReplyDelete
  78. Ah, now I see. Almost (where's Ruff, Truus, Aliza, Faltu and Aliza - and Carola was never here!?) the whole gang is here.

And yes, we need to finish this all together.
We struggled together and we we will conquer this together.

So, nobody leaves till we've done this and stuff about we only shoot till we see the whites of their eyes and more heroic quotes like that.

By the way, how about going back to things like hope for a certain gem and months about birthstones etc.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Well, got aroania or sirioni from the grid. Not a good idea...

    ReplyDelete
  80. Yes @s-t that's the way! (solving this together). I too thought of taking up all old traces of the gems like birth stones etc. I just want something to fit with both the grid and the letters!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Slow down Bigtank, now I'm missing something.
Diamond 3 white letters!? How, where?

    ReplyDelete
  82. @bigtank is that about the colors of the gems themselves?

    ReplyDelete
  83. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3109819/1/The_Belt_of_Deltora_Guidebook_for_DQ_Fic_Writters
this site has all the powers of each gem, but not sure we need to google

    ReplyDelete
  84. Okay, I think I've read up and think I'm with you all now. :)

The lapis was the only blue wasn't it. That was a good start @bigtank. I was thinking about that too

    ReplyDelete
  85. The problem with birthstones is I can't find Lapizlazuli as birthstone.
Or is there another name that fits?

    ReplyDelete
  86. sry s-t i thought of a white diamond, it was number 3 and there are 3 white letters then i changed my mind .

    ReplyDelete
  87. Surprise here !

sth make me wake up while I open my laptop to download a stuff.

I'm not going to give a clue , you know but here is a little that will guide you

almost every knowledge and thing you got from this level is really helpful to solve

you may need to google more a bit if you don't have enough information

and the letter.... I think u will very familiar with it in one way

This is the last message before i go to bed again

    Good Luck.

    ReplyDelete
  88. @smalltool, I find it for december at some sites.
Isn't opal and topaz kind of blue too (at least topaz)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Amethyst is purple, but I only see 3 of those, unless its pink here... then it's 5.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thanks @Fielveredus! We'll keep working on this :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. ok thanks fielveredus, sleep tight .and thaks again for your help. will this be the last levels now

    ReplyDelete
  92. J not being in the grid is throwing me off.

    ReplyDelete
  93. ok lets go back to the letters is it some kind of code and why is purple hell still not working

    ReplyDelete
  94. @mk, I know!! I tried to change the letters we got into numbers and apply them to the files of the jewels. I got something like dnlemrh and that's not good enough.

    ReplyDelete
  95. "and the letter.... I think u will very familiar with it in one way"

hmm...so we do need directions right? Didn't we do this recently with rainbows?

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hi @Ellie, @mk, @bigtank, @small-tool. I really suck at playing action games. Level 77 may be my last level 'cause I cannot play this game.

    ReplyDelete
  97. yes @bigtank, I really hope PH isnt down for good!! I wish I had saved some ciphers from there. Well, still no idea how to use the letters other than the number 7... one letter for each jewel?? Not in order though since diamond doesnt have a G. And, well... none of them have a J. Fielveredus said we're familiar with them. I can only think as numbers, or in the keyboard. Where else??

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Ruff There you are! Don't you dare leave us now!!! :) Sending an email.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Hi @Ruff!!! I sent you a spoiler!

    ReplyDelete
  100. ty ty ty ty ty ........................... @mk.
    You've saved me.

    ReplyDelete
  101. @mk, but how to get directions from them?? GLJH are kind of in a row on the keyboard. Not good directions.

    ReplyDelete
  102. when i saw the letters it reminded me of something, then just thought it was when i was learning to type. looking at enigma applet now, but would need some settings for it

    ReplyDelete
  103. @Ellie, even though I have received mk's email first, I thank you for emailing me too. Don't mention about 10th level; I could not pass the 6th :(

    ReplyDelete
  104. @Ellie I don't know, but the colors, the grid and the hint seem like the method for at least part of this should be familiar to us.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Hi Ruff, welcome back.
    Like mkganda said, but 'of course' in a way more polite way;

Please do not leave us now, we love you you and we really need your feedback on level 80.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Lol @Ruff! I'm just glad you'll save us from lvl 80!!
@bigtank, also thinking about why those letters would be familiar.

    ReplyDelete
  107. http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/substitution.php
trying to use this site too

    ReplyDelete
  108. @small-tool, I don't want to leave unless @fiel is challenging us with another game like this. This is a riddle game and as a "true" riddler, I only use my brain, not my fingers.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I'm working on 78 now. Throw me so tips so that I can fly through these two levels.

    ReplyDelete
  110. @small-tool lol

Sorry if I was too Ruff on you, @Ruff. I know, stupid joke lol. Of course it's because we love you. :P

    ReplyDelete
  111. @ruff, for 78 just place the small grids in evey place in the big grid (the symbols being the red squares) and eliminate all the yellow and red squares. The remaining ones (6?) is anagrammed to the pw.

    ReplyDelete
  112. 5 letters for 78

    these letters are bugging me

    ReplyDelete
  113. Argh!! I need a way to "walk" in the grid. The letters doesnt help me at all. I got arlsgri from my last try (counting on the extra words of the jewels). Need a good idea or a new brain!!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Well, for 78. It's just taking away the shapes from the letter grid and you end up with 5 letters.
Not sure about how to give more hints without giving the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Yes that's right (thanks @mk!) 5 letters left in 78 when you eliminate the rest.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Thank @Ellie. The picture is not very eye friendly. I'm having a headache now and the picture is making it worse.

@mk, I really Ruff the jokes and friendly atmosphere at EG24. I Ruff everyone here.

    ReplyDelete
  117. enough talk, start working on 78 with all your great hints.

    ReplyDelete
  118. you have the extra word for the lapis @Ellie?

    ReplyDelete
  119. ruff mail me and i will mail you back with my paint picture

    ReplyDelete
  120. I have 10 different colors that doesnt help me at all.

    ReplyDelete
  121. And back again to the extra words.
How did you even try an attempt, Ellie, without knowing what the extra word for lapizlazuli is?

Do you know that extra word Ruff?

    ReplyDelete
  122. http://www.eyespymag.com/enigma_j/enigma_j_standalone.html
this has to be the decoder, it is enigma

    ReplyDelete
  123. @mk, I only have azul for lapiz. Is there another one?
    @ruff, email...

    ReplyDelete
  124. no extra word for lapizlazuli.

    Did you find the ruby?

    ReplyDelete
  125. @Ruff yes, thank you :) Sent you mail.

    ReplyDelete
  126. @st and @mk, I am not sure of that extra word but I think in the lvl where we couldnt download it it was called lapizazul.mp3. Might need to chech that again though.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Thank you @mk, @ellie and @bigtank.

    Level 79.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Bigtank,
I know that site (didn't we use that before on Amgine?), but to get somethinhg from that you have to change the settings and for that we haven't got a clue, do we?

    ReplyDelete
  129. There is something wrong here... can't use my previous pw's to load a saved lvl. Hm... hope I don't have to do them all again if needed.

    ReplyDelete
  130. i got pairing from it but i could not connect it to the riddle, just thought it was apt due to the name of the game,i know we change the settings on before

    ReplyDelete
  131. get an egg for 79.

Have you guys found the ruby in 78?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Yep Ruff, we did.

    Btw. mailed you about 79.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Yes @ruff, we have all gems we need. Just don't know how to use then (or if we already used them enough in lvl 80).

    ReplyDelete
  134. @Ruff Yeah, we got it. :)

Did you get my email about 79?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Topaz seems to be honor and truth... important? Idk!!

    ReplyDelete
  136. I was rushing through 78 and I have not found the ruby. I just saw it on the grid, so I thought it must be there.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Btw. how about brute-forcing the answer for level 80?
There are only 21 different letters in the grid and it's probably a 7-letter word. So how many English word with 7 letters could there be, just a few billion I guess.
That's no problem for us, is it?

    ReplyDelete
  138. I got a cryptogram from our letters...I wonder...

    ReplyDelete
  139. Could you send me the ruby please?

    ReplyDelete
  140. Wait a minute Mkganda. Did you use this;

    http://www.ics.uci.edu/~eppstein/cryptogram/

That one always gives a word, but it only works properly if you have enough letters/words to put in.

    ReplyDelete
  141. my last dose of drugs are wearing off i need to go to bed soon. have we got anything at all

    ReplyDelete
  142. Good luck with that @st!!
@Ruff, the name of the ruby was just to be entered into the pw- box, you get the addition "mineral".

    ReplyDelete
  143. Going back to get the ruby first. We need it!

    ReplyDelete
  144. I have problem loading the page now.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Mineral Ellie ?
    Are we going scientific now?
    (just kidding) :)

    ReplyDelete
  146. Argh!! Trying to send you an email with the ruby @ruff but it doesn't work!! Anyway, ruby is nr 6...that might be enough for now.

    ReplyDelete
  147. @small-tool I used this

    http://www.blisstonia.com/software/WebDecrypto/index.php

    ReplyDelete
  148. Found the ruby. Now trying working on the grid.

    ReplyDelete
  149. trying working... duh!

    ReplyDelete
  150. How many gems do you have? I have only 7. I think we need 9 gem to solve this level. The two missing gems could be we are probably missing onyx & tourmaline.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Yep mkganda,
Same result as on my site. That's the problem with those sites, you need keywords and more letters/words to put in.

    But I think that's not the way to go. Fielveredus posted about 'maybe you need to Google more' and I think we have to find a clue with 'that'. And with 'that' I mean, he also posted;
'almost every knowledge and thing you got from this level is really helpful to solve'.

    ReplyDelete
  152. @Ruff, why do you think that? We used the 7 gems to get the letters.

    ReplyDelete
  153. 9 gems!?
    Now I'm completely lost!
7 gems was enough to get the EGG, why 9 gems?

    ReplyDelete
  154. There are nine colour on the chart. We have 7 gems. The missing colour are black and purple. If we have all 9 colour, we only need the directions to move, 'cause we already have step counts.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Ehm @st... not scientific at all, just using what I got. Wish I had a more scientific brain though. That might help here.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I have to go. :( I was really hoping to be here when it gets cracked. Maybe I'll be able to check in in a while. Good luck and leave me hints please! :)

    ReplyDelete
  157. Bye @mk. Thanks for help!

    ReplyDelete
  158. i also looked at the chemical elements but some were really complicated. the only easy one was c for diamond

    ReplyDelete
  159. Do we have step counts?
Are those the letters from the egg?

And do we have 7 colors? I wouldn't know what color Opal would be?

Maybe tomorrow with the whole gang, on a certain time that's right for Americans (North and South), Europeans and Asians (don't forget about Faltu).

    ReplyDelete
  174. @Ellie, could you tell me how you guys got the egg?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  176. Ellie,
The number order for the egg (Ruff asked about). It's up to you to mail it or to hint it.
I'm not able at the moment, all I can do is just mail the straight answer.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Sent the email @ruff! I don't feel like soving this tonight either.... (as if I could anyway). Will get back to it tomorrow... using all of your hints lol.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Lol Ruff,
'Goodnight' in one post and 'please mail me' in another post.
Anyway, I think Ellie mailed you already. If not, just post here on EG24 that Ellie let you down and you're begging for help from small-tool and I will mail you 'to save the day'.

    ReplyDelete
  184. LOL st!! I think I didn't let ruff down unless I sent the email to a totally different person that will wonder forever what those gems and number were about!
    See you and take care!

    ReplyDelete
  185. How about returning to this tomorow (that´s 3/12)at 16:00 PM (central Europian time).
In Asia that will be something like 22:00 PM and in America (north and south) something like (depending on what coast) 10:00 AM or 7:00 AM, (and that´s early but you´re east-coast mkganda, ain´t you?).

Anyway, see you all the next time, whatever that time will be. And then we will crack this and go back to our normal lifes with solving escape games in only thirty minutes or less, or something like that (that´s ´our´ normal life, isn´t it?).

    ReplyDelete
  186. Lol @st, yes that's "normal life". I'll go to bed now... early (only 1:15 AM) and will be happy to solve this together with all of you tomorrow. Will probably sleep until 16:00 central european time, so your plan fits me perfect :)

  187. 77 fixed for another way to solve.

  188. Hi @fiel, please give us some hints on 80.

Just close to 250 answers does not mean we have not tried enough. We just don't know what else to try.

Are honor and truth related to the names of 4th and 5th d**g**s of D*****a.

    ReplyDelete
  189. already gave a hint in a previous post :P

    ReplyDelete
  190. see you all i think i am an hour behind s-t so will be 15.00 here

    ReplyDelete
  191. Oh WOW!!! You're all on the last level!!! Great Job!
I'm still on 77, the game, and see Fiel made some changes?? hmmm, I wonder what, hope it means I don't have to play the game anymore :) Although I love your riddles @Fiel, I hope in future we won't have to play these kinds of games anymore.

Anyways, I don't think I can be here at 16:00 hrs, maybe later. But don't let that stop you from solving that last level.
Good Luck and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all!!
    Please leave HUGE hints ...
