  1. Just got back, thanks for your mail @small!
Sorry I was out and couldn't post for you, glad to see you're back though!

    ReplyDelete
  2. Hi Truus,
And thanks for being my medium.

    ReplyDelete
  3. your welcome @small!
I will also start focussing on the wheels now. I was hoping the loop would give us some extra info and concentrated on that first.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Phew! Finally through all places of the loop.
I think I know the language. Look at source code by pw box.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think 'the succession of witch' is something from 'final fantasy' wich would fit perfectly with the kind of riddles fielveredus makes (the pictures and the names Last Enigma, Final Quest), but there I can find a font/alphabet too.
And I think we really need that. To solve the wheels will be hard enough (remember level 52) without having to guess the numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi @Truus! Hi and by @Ruff! Hi to the rest I didn't say hi to. Well, gonna focus on the game again lol.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Thank you so very much Ellie.
    Finally the numbers.
    Now let's turn those wheels.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ellie to save you some time I could mail you the text.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yes, that's the correct language. Translated the question above the pw box and now gonna look at the second pic. I know I'm still way behind you all.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Thanks @st, that would be nice. It feels ok since I do know the language and have a great table of it, but it would take me some time.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks @st! I so wish I had a printer here! Need to turn the wheels some other way :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Lol, I don't have a printer at all.
I always have to write things down and cut papers and tape them together etc.

Anyway, let's smack this b.... up now. Still only 4 answers solved so EG24 could do better than ever on a riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  13. aaaaghhhh, just when things are getting excited, it's dinner time again.
Good Luck, I know you can do it!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I wonder... if wheels 2 or 3 turn, what does that do to the other two wheels? Still not understanding instructions completely, but some turning might show me what to do (or not to do).

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh no @Truus! You need to eat today as well?? I'll stay for a short while, but will need to do other things as well soon. See you later hopefully, still turning wheels!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oops, having problems right at the start.
No idea in what order we have to go.
Which numbers are what steps (I mean what is step 1, step 2 etc.) and wich numbers are how many steps we turn the dials.
Do we need more pictures with more dials?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ah wait a minute, now I see.
The order of steps is just the 5 sentences.
And the first number (or a number behind a comma is the wheel).
And also wondering if wheel 2 or 3 are turned if it does something to wheel 1.
Anyway, first gonna try wheel 1 affects 2 and 3. And 2 and 3 do nothing to 1.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Good @st, since I'm trying to do this as if wheels 2 and 3 always turn the same, and 1 always opposite. I make them always affect each other.
It could also be that whichever wheel you turn, both others turn the opposite way.
I'm not sure when to pick letters though. After each turn? After each row in the instructions?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Maybe just at the end... getting a 5 letter pw. I'll see when (if) I get there.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Don't forget there are two arrows at every wheel.
So the way I see it now we end up with a 20 letter answer.
And I don't know if I'm doing it correct but for example at step 3 after I did wheel 1 (halfway the sentence of step 3) I first change wheel 2 counter clockwise and then do the instructions for wheel 2.
Also wondering when wheel 1 goes counter clokwise if wheel 2 and 3 change?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oops, make that a 22 letter answer because in step 4 and 5 three wheels change.
But maybe we only have to pick up the last letters after the final turn(s) and that would mean the answer is 6 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ellie,
I hope you meant you didn't see 2 arrows in every wheel (not only in the first wheel).
Anyway, with using all the letters from every step I didn't get an anagram and with using only the last 6 letters I got a,o,z,i,r,t but not the answer.
Wish Fiel was here to give some hints.
My major problem is about wheel 1 affecting wheel 2 and 3.
    - If 1 goes counter clockwise then what with wheel 2 and 3
    - Does the effect from wheel 1 occur on 2 and 3 halfway a sentence/step or only at the end of a sentence/step
    - And maybe also, do wheel 2 and 3 affect wheel 1.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Quick Hint :

If it is not assigned the job to you , don't assume it will be.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @st, i did see the two arrows in the other wheels. I had to leave them for a while and wont be able to try again for a little while.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks for that extra hint @fiel! I'll try it in a short while.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @s-t, thank you for reminding me about @fiel's comment. I have to turn the wheels again 'cause I've assumed that wheel 1 will turn in opposite direction as 2 or 3 turn.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ok, I'm back to try some more! Hi Ruff!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I have forgotten about the 3rd picture altogether. Decoding it now.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thanks!! I got that one now as well. Lol, I didn't even try to look for it until now. Thanks @Ruff!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I echo Ellie.

    3rd picture????

    ReplyDelete
  31. So, names there...
Hm, I still need to solve the wheels though. I wonder if the names are for the bonus lvl. Or if the wheels will tell me something about them.
Will google them in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @s-t, hint for 3rd pic in source of 100

    ReplyDelete
  33. The 3rd pic is probably for bonus.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hi all! Thanks to your comments and @Ellie's email while blogger was down I got to 100 pretty quickly. Can't play now, but thanks! Hope to play later. :)
    Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hi again, thanks @Ruff for 3rd picture.
    You'll find the names here:
    http://wiki.puella-magi.net/Characters

    ReplyDelete
  36. No @Ruff I didn't, it's already there. Click the dots below the box.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hi @Truus, thanks for link.

    @ellie, I have arvert.

    ReplyDelete
  38. btw I got arnrap from the wheels

    ReplyDelete
  39. This is confusing! Gotta concentrate.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I have found the egg too. Thanks @ellie.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Wait a minute Ellie, does this last comment mean you're finsihed. You did level 100. If so CONGRATS.
I'm getting more and more confused by the wheels and keep on making mistakes.
Maybe I have to try this tomorrow.
Anyway, to verify; Just turning the wheels according to the instructions gives the final 6-letter word answer, right?

    ReplyDelete
  42. LOL, now my wife is making wheels on cardboard to help me.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @s-t, I wrote some simple instruction on excel to add and subtract letter numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Just to verify,
The egg is not important to solve level 100, right? If so I certainly have to give up right now and try again tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The game screen doesn't load!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Please say hi to Mrs. small-tool.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @st, I think the egg IS important to solve the lvl... at least I didnt solve the lvl yet, and I dont understand what to do with the numbers in the egg.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Lol Ruff, Mrs. Big Tool says hi back to you.

    Ellie,
I'm still having problems with 'one wheel at a time' because at some steps wheel 1 goes CW and after that I'm not sure to turn the other two wheels in the middle of the sentence or at the end of the sentence.

    ReplyDelete
  49. lol. Does mrs. big-tool play riddle?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Not at all Ruff. She just wants me to finish this game so we can get back to our normal life again. She feels neglected and wants to do the stuff normal couples to in normal life.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Found 2nd egg but still working on the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  52. In my opinion, it is quite normal for couples to play riddles together. lol

    ReplyDelete
  53. Have you guys found the final rune pic yet? Don't know how to convert the numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Translate 1st egg as half leet to get 2nd egg.

    ReplyDelete
  55. @Ruff, did you use the first egg to get the second egg? How?

@st, don't see the rows of instructions as 5 sentences, but as a line of happenings, separated by the commas.
Whenever you have turned wheel 1 cw, you need to turn the others ccw the same number of steps, directly after.
That means when it tells you to turn 1 and 2 cw for 4, you turn wheel 1 cw4, wheel 2 goes cw 4 but ALSO ccw 4, so it doesnt move, wheel 3 goes ccw 4.

    ReplyDelete
  56. From 1st egg to 2nd egg, 5 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks, got it by guessing the last letter. Half leet is harder!

    ReplyDelete
  58. @ellie, now you can help me with the final one! I have already tried these:
numbers, leet, half-leet, mod 12 (due to time), mod 24 (time again), straight conversion, pass levels, counting letters from 3 pic info.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Two of them do look like 2-digit to me. That's why I tried mod 12, mod 24 and mod 26 as well. BTW, mod means mod function.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @ellie, I need to take a short break now.

    ReplyDelete
  61. i am really stuck on level 29 i think my brains shut down can anyone help. i have read all the comments and have the four words ( i have got several for the l**** and c****) i am not sure what i have to do with them

    ReplyDelete
  62. @juliet, when you have the four words you just have to put them all together and use them as a pw. It's 21 letters long. L****d*****c****s****
If you like, you can send me an email with what you've got.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Juliet,

    Level 30 was really hard.
But anyway the answer is all four behind each other.
    So it is;
    L...rD....nC...sS...d

And the other girls, thanks for all the hints, but I (we) are still making cardboard wheels. Can't even divide 180 by 26 anymore.
But in the ned we'll get there, I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Lol, in the ned.
    Well, that tells it all.

    ReplyDelete
  65. hey Congrats @Ellie and @Ruff for finishing the wheels!! I'm just terrible at these..
Will try once more with all the hints from Ellie,
how are you doing @small, any luck yet?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Finally out (temp end after level 100).
Thanks all for all the great help.
Thansk for the great riddle Fielveredus.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yes, out too! It seems lots of our previous comments disappeared from here while Blogger was down.
    Thanks @fielveredus!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Since Blogger was down and many of our thoughts disappeared, I'll leave some hints behind for other solvers.

For 97 - it's wingdings3... use it on the right grids, then find the starting points (letters) in the left grids. Answer: 4 letter word.

For 98 - search for dead warriors and use the clue in the source code (pic name).

For 99 - try to find the four that are indirectly connected to lvls 80-100. Like, butterfly, the city, warriors, and wingdings (thanks @st).

For 100 - find your way through the loop. Find the language in souce at the end.
There are 3 pics (thanks @ruff).
To solve the wheels, turn only one wheel at once, except for one single specific occasion (the warning). Find 6 letters when you finished the turning. Those letters gives an egg (look at the changed dots below the pw-box - becomes clickable).
Solve the egg using half-leet (thanks Ruff).
    Get the final clue.
Combine with last pic for the final pw (7 letters).

    ReplyDelete
  69. Solved 100 too. Thanks everyone for the great hints.

Dear Dr.@Ellie, thanks for the eye drops that has cured my blindness at the end of 100.

@fielveredus, thanks for making these great levels. I'm looking forward to the next release.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Lol @Ruff, anytime:D Always a pleasure playing with you! Thanks back for all the help you provided!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Congrats ! :)

Next release , I think I can't specific which month but it takes some long time I think.

    and...

120 , but you will feel that you are not playing 120 levels but more than that. :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. *** CONGRATS TO ALL WHO FINISHED ***

Well, I must have a brain the size of a peanut..
    I think I see the connection (not sure about anything anymore) 7 n*****s , 7 n***s.
I double-checked, no triple-checked, even "double-triple" checked my numbers and did the same on the letters I got, but no useful word.
I went through e******s, c********s. I know more about the series than any great fan by now,
    but still no password..

btw Does anyone know what the highest bridge in the world is and how to get there?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hi Truus,
    It is not just 7 n.....s, but more like;
    1, 1, (1, 1), (1, 1), 1.
    And it's 5 n....s

And the highest bridge is the Millau Viaduct in southern France and you get there by car I guess, but why?

    ReplyDelete
  74. Lol @Truus! Don't jump!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thank you @small, I got it now!!
I must have been bewitched before..

No @Ellie, I was only gonna through my laptop down, lol

Thank you @all for your help and it was fun playing together.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Congrat! @Truus!

@fielveredus, I already sense your evil mind on the coming levels. lol...

    ReplyDelete
  77. You better keep that laptop @Truus, so you can go on playing with us!! CONGRATS!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Congrats everyone for finish the game, I finished now.
Thank you all for excellent hint you have left here. Thanks Ellie for the hits you wrote to the last levels after fixed blogger.
Special thanks to you Ruff, for all your help evry time I needed. you are my hero.
Thanks and see you all in another riddle soon.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Congrats to you too @Aliza!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I have just come across the Last Enigma a couple of days ago, and slowly working my way through with help from the walkthrough/forum.
However, if I don't get some clear help with lvl 19, then I might as well give up in disgust!
I have searched all help, all spoilers on several sites, but I don't have a clue.
I saw what the three words were almost immediately, buts that's the only thing I understand.
    Can someone help PLEASE?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Ashley,
    In the source is also
    ==x
So change the = in the famous formula into an x (multiply symbol) and then do the math and then basic conversion from numbers into letters and you get 5 letters (it's a word, no angramming needed) and that's the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  82. TY Small-tool. (quick & easy with that help.)
There were so many variations flying around but nothing as clear as that. Maybe now I can get on and play some more.

    ReplyDelete
  83. You're welcome Ashley.
Btw. since this riddle is currently not 'hot' anymore till the new levels come up you have a better chance to get an answer if you mail (me, or some of the other players, they're all very helpful). But then again, still the time-zones things, but eventually you'll get help/hints/answers.
For my mail address, just click my avatar (that is, in some of the previous comments, my last post is made with live-journal, because of blogger problems).

    ReplyDelete
  84. Yeah - I have noticed Blogger problems. In order to post at all I have to open a new Google tab, sign out ('cause I'm automaticlly signed on), then sign on again. Then I can (usually) get access to comment in this forum. If I don't do all that, I get a message that tells me they can't process my comment at this time (or words to that general effect).

I'll check - see if I can find your email; meantime I'm just as stuck on Lvl 20 - I cannot find the 2nd pic that everyone talks about. Saw your comment about your name - tried things like "weapons" but no go (and no more ideas).
I wish someone would write a walkthrough for the older pages so that some of us could catch up to the live pages. Apart from one or two of you, its difficult to get help on older puzzles (have the same trouble with "escape" games).

But much thanks for your help S-T.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Email address located & email sent

    ReplyDelete
  86. The picture is called bigforest. So what would be the other picture?
    The opposite probably.
So just copy the whole picture name link (right-click on the picture and then choose properties to see the link) and paste it into a new tab and change big into s.... and then look closeley at the bottom right side of that new picture.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Oops, I meant bottom left.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Have found a problem; hint for lvl 22 says to Zoom from right click. But my browser doesn't give me the option of zooming on my right-click menu.

Have I misunderstood something or is that potentially the end of the game for me (unless someone just gives me that part of the answer, of course)??

    ReplyDelete
  89. @Ashley, you're probably not on the correct place yet to do your zooming. Inside the levels, you can't use "right-click and zoom". There is only one place where that is possible (only one place I found at least). Leave the level page and search in other parts of this riddle. Look for some inspiration and zoom there.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Okay, I'll try Ellie. Thanks for that.
I assumed that the only place all of the other worlds meet was on my computer screen. So I spent some time examining the picture at maximum zoom looking for some tiny hidden wording.
Not sure my browser will let me backtrack but I'll have another try.

    ReplyDelete
  91. @Ashley, no need to backtrack... open a new game and it wont take you long :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. Okay - managed to get back to previous levels but don't have a clue what I'm looking for.
Thought it MAY be the screen pic between each level page but that produced nothing.
    So still stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Good idea @Ashley, but it's further back than the pics between the lvls. Find one interesting/inspiring word in the very first page and zoom a lot there.

    ReplyDelete
  94. @Ellie;
Thanks - I appreciate the help but can't find anything.
If you mean the title page, the whole top half of the page is "zoomable" but there is nothing hidden there that couldn't be seen at normal view.
And I see no word that I would find inspiring.

Tried going to the credits etc but nothing of interest there either (considering I think, that the Enigma author said the answer is written in plain view).

Its frustrating, 'cause if I just ask for the answer there's no "fun" (though this dumb search isn't much fun either).

    So still stuck!
Bed-time now for me - its midnight here and I have to be up early tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Good night @Ashley! For tomorrow... either send me an email and I could answer more detailed, or have a look at the lower half of that page. Zoomable too...
Read the text below the pic and choose your word. You'll have to zoom at least 3-4 times to see anything. Look carefully on all the letters of that specific word.

    ReplyDelete
  96. AAAAGGGHHHHHHH ! ! !
With help, I got the answer to 22.
But password is to be altered (??) to reach lvl 23.
**21+22??? I've treid combining passwords but I'm lost again.
Some parts of this game are so obviously easy; then the next page makes no sense at all.

    Someone, help please?

    ReplyDelete
  97. @Ashley, to reach 23, combine passwords 22+21.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Thank you Ruff - I just had it back-to-front.

    ReplyDelete
  99. And so to lvl 23.
I understand that the d**f is important. And I have a list of those (I'm assuming behind or ahead is also relevant).
But the second number in the clue (under pic) is zero, and the time difference is also zero. How do I get anything out of that?
Again, some of this doesn't make much sense - inspite of the clues I pick up from this forum.

    ReplyDelete
  100. @Ashley, ignore daylight saving and use standard time. If you use standard time, the d**f of the second trip would not be zero. Ahead or behind is important because that will determine whether you should add or subtract.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Thank Ruff. Reworking it ....

... ..when I get home from day job!

    ReplyDelete
  102. AM I the only one still playing?

Well this damned level 24 will finish it for me if someone doesn't give me the password!
I just don't play these type of games - 3-4 times through and I've had enough of it. Its basically just a variation of a pokie machine and I will NOT play it again.
Potentially it could just keep defeating the player forever - never get past it .... unless there is another way (???)

    ReplyDelete
  103. Mailed you Ashley,
There is no other way, it was pure luck.

    ReplyDelete
  104. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Duh - Level 25 answer was so obvious that I missed it - too busy looking for something deeper.

    So now let's try 26 ....

    ReplyDelete
  106. Need some hints or pointers for lvl 26 please.
Hints on forum not helpful enough. I don't really know what I'm looking for (again!).

    ReplyDelete
  107. @Ashley, I didn't remember what to do on lvl 26 so I went back to the comments and there are some pretty good ones, for example:

    Ruff 11/23/10 12:48 PM
Someone has asked me about level 26. Forget about the title; it's just a red herring. Think about the picture name. It's telling us to r**d**ly s***ch for something. We have four 2-digit numbers on the screen. We also have a hint in the source code. With the four 2-digit numbers and the hint, we can use google to find a few names.

    Ruff 11/24/10 9:01 AM
@kaankanat, that's what I did to find the answer. I googled all 24 combinations (one at a time) with the 4-letter hints in the source and found three names. One of them is the answer.

So, find the hint at bottom of the source code, then do some 24 google searches (or much less if you're lucky) and try what you find. 14-letter answer.

    ReplyDelete
  108. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Thanks Ellie (and S-t). I was about to give up when the "24 combinations" caught my attention. I had been trying pairs of those numbers (making 4-digit combinations) instead of 8-digit combos.
    That made it much easier.

Now we'll see if I can mess up level 27.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Well, I think I'm going to give up on this quest.

Can't find an answer to suit Lvl 27. I did what S-t said in this forum - and thought the answer was obvious. But after trying almost every word on the page .... (zilch, nothing!)

Its frustrating & not much fun when I have to ask for help at every step. The hints & clues in the forum are mostly too vague for me.

There MUST be easier puzzles out there similar to this.
(Sadly, I used to be good at this sort of stuff).

If anyone can point me to one, please do.

Followed someones comment to Treasure Rebus - was doing well for a while, but now even that won't accept an answer that I KNOW is correct. AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Ashley,
    Google;

    "base 3" 0 1 2 12 122

And there's a hint in the source too.

    ReplyDelete
  112. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Thanks S-t but still struggling.

    Email sent ...

    ReplyDelete
  114. Hi folks !
