  3. @Ruff, i am trying to find out the artist who drew the picture, it might be a comic figure who has a special ability. It's not from the storm comics, but something similar i think.

I might be way off here, but i've also tried thing like f*r* etc... nothing worked so far

  4. Passed level 20. Kudos to @balmoral of nordinho about existance of 2nd pic. Now working on 21.

  5. Ruff,
Thank you so very much for level 19.
The ==X was a very clever clue.
No time to play now, but tomorrow I'll try level 20.

  6. Had to go to bed, but couldn't resist to play and I did it (thanks again Ruff for the second picture).
By the way, the 2nd picture was right up my alley and that's a hint for other players; see my name to find the second pic.

  7. Very stuck at 21 (by the way, my previous comment was about 20).
    Don't know how to combine the clues in 21;
    - Hide in plain sight.
    - Find your way out.
    - Stuck around.
    - Music falcom.
    - div class = clip.

Is Falcom some kind of video game or pokemon thing?

  8. Hi @small-tool. I've also found these:
    - font color different from other levels
    - missing close table tag
    - missing close body tag

    Can't find anything useful though

  9. The answer for 21 is well hidden somewhere in the source.

  13. Found something in the source, but it doesn't get me to level 22? but some kind of easter egg!?
    By the way thanks Edgar.

    ReplyDelete
  14. @small-tool. It's hidden in the most crowded area.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thanks Ruff,
Found it, now on level 22.
But like I said; with another answer from the source you get an easter egg and then the picture says 'you're lost'.

    ReplyDelete
  16. @small-tool, that's not an egg. It's just a different error message. The author tends to use different error messages according to the theme of the level.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ah, I see. It was fun though (and some excitement to find that).
By the way, isn't it cool to be on 22 with the text; '97 answers tried and 0 answers solved.

  18. @small-tool, I am having dinner now. Level 22 is a really tough one. I'm going to leave it for tomorrow.

    Good night!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Nighty night to you too Ruff.
Should go to bed too but still wanna try some things.
Anyway see you tomorrow (hopefully with some great hints from our hero Edgar).

  20. Not getting anywhere (yet) on 22.
    What we have is;
    - Worlds of Riddle
    - Where other worlds met
    - Inside Inspiration
    - Deep Insight
What I've done so far is looking at the previous levels to find (other) worlds. What I've found is that between 5 and 6, between 10 and 11 and between 20 and 21 the web adress changes and those are the levels with music too. So that might be a hint. Tried a lot with the last letter and the first from the answers, the adress, the picture and the name but no go.
    Help.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Stucked on 22 too...

I dont know what Inside Inspiration and Deep Insight means.

    ReplyDelete
  22. 22 :

it's hard to give a clue but

I can tell you, the answer you are looking for

is write somewhere so, you don't need to guess

    ReplyDelete
  23. Is anyone here... I still need help with 18!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. ok... finally figured out 18!!! Thank you for the P.H. initials. 19 is making my brain hurt, what am I not getting???

    ReplyDelete
  25. @skleigh, you need to find the "formula one" and change it a bit. Use the clue "==X" and read it like "= equals X". Then do some maths.

I am trying lvl 22 right now. I am pretty sure what kind of things i'm looking for and found a CD and a book but I can't find the correct word, and the author doesnt work. @fielveredus, do you mean i don't need Google for this one? I'm trying things like m********* and deep insight o****.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Now i found something written "inside", but that doesn't help me either.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Ellie

what did you find? A cd and book?

How did you find that? help please :P

    ReplyDelete
  28. @kaankanat, it doesnt help me and i'm probably thinking about the wrong things since I used Google and it seems we don't need to.
I thought "inside inspiration" was about meditation. Where other worlds meet made me think of "ocean" since that was a word mentioned in lvl 3, also called "new continent". Now I'm looking at lvl 16, since there is "something inside", but if I am to use that I need to decipher it and idk how or if I should leave that level alone lol.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think you're on the right track Ellie.
I found something extra deep inside level 16.
Don't know what to do with it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @small-tool, how did you find something extra deep inside? I only come to the place where we have already been before and don't know how to move on from there.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Remember the extra page on level 16 with press 5 but leave 5. Now do the wrong thing (do 5) and from there I found some new pages (use same password).
Have 6 numbers now and a new title/question.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Tried all those numbers as jpg but only the original number gives the original pic.
Think we have to combine those numbers somehow to get a new jpg.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Great finding @small-tool, but it looks a bit as if it is a bonus level. Not sure if that will give us the answer to lvl 22. I think the answer we're looking for is "easier" than this to find.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Just thinking the same thing, because there are 2 people who solved level 22 and only 1 solved the 16b level.
On the other hand both levels have 'inside' and this 16b is found deep inside (insight?). And the name is; Who's inside?
    But if it's the wrong track I think my previous comment about this level makes sense too;
    - 'World of Riddles' might mean the levels of this game.
    - 'Where other worlds met' might mean the differences between 5-6 10-11 20-21. Because there we go from exploration to ancientculture to shimmeralforest to solumnpassage.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hi everyone!

The answer for 22 can't be inside 16b. There are only 5 quotas in total for solving 16b. 1 is already taken leaving 4 quotas left. That would limit the number of people passing level 22 to 5.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hi Ruff,
And thanks, didn't know how to interpret quotas, but that makes sense.
    Any ideas about 22?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I have tried many things regarding the levels switching folders. Level 16 is the most obvious one, so I spent a lot of time on it but still have nothing. I have a new idea in mind that I have not time to explore yet. Please tell me whether it makes any sense or not:

    I am checking level 21:
    - It is a level switching to solumnpassage, so it's a passage.
    - the title is hide in plain sight (hide in~plain~sight) I try "plain" because it's within in~sight. It's not the answer.
    - the pic name is stuckaround. The author has posted a spoiler in nordinho saying that ....after that you will FOUND the answer. It seems that the answer is not in present tense.

    ReplyDelete
  38. 21 is level switching from 20. So I'm going through that one as well. And wonder why 'Kill the Titan' is in the source. We didn't use it there. And how about the title; Something is Matter. It's test your skill.

About 'found' it could be a typo, maybe after that you've found the answer. There is nowhere a clue for past tense in the riddle itself.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Level 22 is so hard and very time consuming. I think we have to go back to every level and read the source code carefully.

@small-tool, I have to leave for my yoga class now. I'll come back later to see whether you've made a new thinking path for us.

    ReplyDelete
  40. See you later Ruff.
I'm now thinking about 'Inside Inspiration' on the rebus way; 'ratio' is in the word inspiration.

By the way with yoga you should get some deep insights.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 22 :

ok, i think it's time to give you more clue

    1. No google session
    2. No random word guessing session
    3. Think about where you can find the other worlds in this riddle and apply with the clue you will got the answer. There is no guessing session.

    "in this riddle" is keyword

    4. Clue under the pic is really important if you are in right track
    5. and then the clue in source is very very very important after you know what 4. mean
    6. after that you will 'FOUND' the answer

    7. you have seen this already, I am sure but you need to look "inside inspiration" and "deep insight" in that thing. just think about it, because it's a f**** thing that can ***m.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I passed level 22! Now working on 23.

@fielveredus, thank you so much for that extra hint. I actually looked into that place many many times because it's where the worlds met and also there's that i******* word. But could never have thought about ***m that thing.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Passed level 23 too. My yoga class really helps. Now onto 24.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Please help Ruff,
    I'm still stuck on 22.
Have no idea at all what the words f**** and ***m could be.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Koelio, I finished the World Clock!

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Ruff, just need a small hint i guess :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Koelio, just imagine you are travelling. You've arrived at the destination and want to set your watch. Your watch is showing the time of where you're from. You have to find the time difference and use it to set your watch. You need to set your watch six times for the six individual trips.

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Ruff, i know... That part was easy :)
I'm just stick with the numbers beneath the image, and i am struggeling with diff is key.

  53. Already playing Whammy! Forgot about f****** and b*** in t***

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Koelio, I have been playing the Whammy many times and have also been redirected to play deathevasion. Havn't got anything out of it yet. Tried all those bold words in the instructions too. I have to go now. Will be later today. I hope you'll leave me a hint on how to play Whammy when I'm back

    ReplyDelete
  55. @Ruff, i hope so too... time for me to help you out for once :P

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Koelio, I just noticed that I've won Whammy when I was closing my window tabs. The answer was opened in another tab that I did not even notice. I'm now on level 25.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Was that the url r********ce.php?
Because i am there, but i'm figuring out the password.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Was that the url r********ce.php?

    It's a bonus level :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. @Koelio, it's not rwhatever.php. It's a php file that is opened in a new tab once you've won the game. I had two answer tabs opened that I did not even know. The only difference is when I submitted my score, a tournament leaderboard is popped up.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @fielveredus, what about the deathevasion game? I had to play that one too but failed.

    ReplyDelete
  61. That's what i thought... i am decompiling the swf file but i can't seem to get the url from the leaderboard. Did you actually play the game and got more then 12.000 points?

    ReplyDelete
  62. I am still not seeing it on 22. Can someone please help?

    ReplyDelete
  63. 20000 points is your needed.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Koelio, I actually played the game but frankly, I did not know how I got the answer page. I did not even know I had them opened!

I guess I had to cancel my apointment and stay home today and continue to play.

    ReplyDelete
  65. PS. Now HOF is up, someone finished first 30 already :P

    ReplyDelete
  70. still stuck on 22...

    what is ***m ??

    ReplyDelete
  71. Made it to 26! Thanks for the help on 22, Ruff!

Red Dawn - hmmm...remember a movie by that name...

    ReplyDelete
  72. Someone has asked me about level 26. Forget about the title; it's just a red herring. Think about the picture name. It's telling us to r**d**ly s***ch for something. We have four 2-digit numbers on the screen. We also have a hint in the source code. With the four 2-digit numbers and the hint, we can use google to find a few names.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Looks like level 27 has to do with Base-3 numbers which I know nothing about...clue in source not very helpful yet...gonna take a break.

    ReplyDelete
  74. S**t... i can't seem to get 12.000 points on that stupid game. Worst of all, i dont even think you have to play it to get the password, but hey, maybe you do. Now i'm going to hack my way into the flash file to try and get some password or new url there...

    ReplyDelete
  75. Finally back in the game.
Thank you so very much for the help on level 22 Ruff.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I already tried converting the numbers to base 3 format. Couldn't find anything start with the letters as in hint.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I need to take a break now. See you later!

@graham, please leave me a hint if you've found anything about level 27

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Ruff, i didn't see the mail until half an hour ago :)
    Anyway, struggeling with 26 now...

    ReplyDelete
  80. 27 i mean. Calculating time!

    ReplyDelete
  81. I don't have time to play a lot right now, but I keep coming back to this when I have an opportunity.
I don't get lvl 22. I don't get the hints we got, even if they are supposed to be very good. I thought ***m might be "zoom" but if so, I don't understand where, and I tried many places.
@Ruff, it's very nice of you to send emails to the ones that don't get it, but is it possible to give some kind of extra spoiler here or will it bee too obvious then? I need something more to solve it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Seriously stuck at level 27. Already tried converting the count from base 3 to base 10, from base 10 to base 3, from numbers to letters, anagram, count them individually in English, Spanish and French! Nothing works with the hint.

@fielveredus, if you are checking our prograss, please give us an extra hint.

  84. For everyone else having problems with level 22.

"Where other worlds met..." Hmm.. keep in mind this riddle is a sequel of another one. Kind of a new world here.

    ReplyDelete
  85. @Ellie, your interpretation of ***m is correct. Now exploration, ancientculture, etc. are different worlds. Where do ALL of them meet? Where is the single place that's common to ALL the levels? That's where you apply your ***m.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Well, been there, done that but nothing. Hm... i should probably go to bed and have another look tomorrow.

@Ellie, no zooming is enough if you don't do it by right-clicking and zoom in from that menu

    ReplyDelete
  91. Oh, I didn't refresh before posting that.

Well, I'll keep it there for the people with the same problem and unable or unwilling to get the mailed hints.

    See you all, riddlers!!

  94. 27 :

What is it called ? answer it !

    ReplyDelete
  95. Hi @fielveredus.

Is "What is it called? answer it!" a hint?

    ReplyDelete
  96. Base 3, this is Ground control.... what's your status, over!

Meanwile, back at the base: "Should we give them a hint?"... "No, let them sweat for little a while longer"

Sorry folks, just having a little fun. Or am i starting to lose it?

    ReplyDelete
  97. And there i am! In the 'bonus level' hall of fame. :) No luck on lvl27 though. I've been wrecking my brain on this one, although it's also possible that it has nothing to do with base-3 conversion, but it might just be a mountain where climbers had their basecamp (base 3) or something. But still, what's with the dots then?

Did anyone get any further already?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Just did level 23, so not yet there to help you Koelio. But I'll try to catch up.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I must be missing somethng very stupid, but I can't play the Whammy game. When I press play I have to fill in the last level password but when I do I'm back on the same page!?

    ReplyDelete
  100. @Small-tool, you also have to fill it in in the yellow round circle on the bottom of the game...

    ReplyDelete
  101. Koelio, thanks but still no go.
You mean the word in the yellow circle and behind it the password from level 23.
That's not working for me as well (also not when I do only 13 letters, which means not using the last letter from the level 23 word).

    ReplyDelete
  102. Sorry, see I'm stupid, can't even read your comment correctly.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Oh and by my last comment I meant, got it now.
(can't even write my own comments right).

    ReplyDelete
  104. Hahaha... don't mention it, i only got this far with help of other people (especially from Ruff! Kudos!)

    ReplyDelete
  105. Aargh, can't make it.
One time I even went to the second round with 14 spins and one time I had 4 spins left on 18.000 and lost everything to the big bank.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Yes I did it. Started with only 9 spins and then 21.129 in the second round and even a spin left.

    Level 25 now.

    ReplyDelete
  107. @Small-tool, congratulations! Level 25 is not that hard, just google your way out of there!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thanks Koelio,
No comments on 25 so I figured it would be easy but nothing yet. Tried both url's from the platform, but nothing to find on the first site and the other site doesn't exist.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Nvm. found it with googling 'old ocean platform' images.

    ReplyDelete
  110. So, 26 now... you're catching up quick ;)

    ReplyDelete
  111. Not really quick, but easy does it.
Found the clue on the source on 26 and I'm trying to make lines between the numbers on the picture but I don't understand the name of the picture (rand2x4search).

    ReplyDelete
  112. I'll see if i can give you any clues later on. I'm still at work now, and it's kinda busy :S

    ReplyDelete
  113. @small-tool, find all the combos and google them with the hint. You'll get some names.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I stucked on 26 too.

What did you mean with 'combo' , Ruff?

    ReplyDelete
  115. @kaankanat, you have four 2-digit numbers on the screen. Find all the combinations. Google those 8-digit numbers with the source hint.

    ReplyDelete
  116. @Ruff there are 24 combinations and googling them doesnt help me :(

And thank you for trying to help :)

    ReplyDelete
  117. @kaankanat, that's what I did to find the answer. I googled all 24 combinations (one at a time) with the 4-letter hints in the source and found three names. One of them is the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I thought I found it, but it doesnt work.

one of the combinations gave me a book. But the name of author doesnt work. Isnt it T***** F*******?

And also there are three publishers, and none of them worked :(

    ReplyDelete
  119. oh got it!
I forgot to try the name of the book :)

    ReplyDelete
  120. I'm back, thanks for all the hints. Gonna try 26 now. But I guess it's gonna take a while. I was really slow on the escpae games today and I'm an escaper not a riddler. But who knows.

    ReplyDelete
  121. LEVEL 16...

So far all I know is being able to get to the "Press 5 but leave 5" page and not sure what to do with it. Can anyone give me a clue as to going about finding the right numbers to push please?

    ReplyDelete
  122. I was very lucky at 26. My third number combination was the right one.
    27 now.

    ReplyDelete
  123. group project reading music,
make a 5 (like in Sakura)
only clicking the 5 gives a bonus level but not the answer for 16.

    fielveredus,
If this is giving away too much, tell me and I'll delete.
By the way; great game. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Oh my God I did 27
Don't do the math just look up the title and the numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  125. kaankanat,
    You got it too. Congrats.
Only 5 people ahead of us now. Let's go.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Congrats to you too :)
    What I found;
    nothing :)

    ReplyDelete
  127. Well, I good use some help on 28.
    What I tried is;
Putting all the numbers in a different order (from low to high) and then make the numbers letters but no words or clues shows up then!?

    ReplyDelete
  128. I put them from low to high too. But it doesnt make sense :(

    ReplyDelete
  129. @small-tool, WOW! You finished 27? That's awesome dude!!! I will try your clue, see if i can get it now.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Oh Koelio please do get 27.
I really need a fresh vision on 28.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Can you email me a more vivid clue? I'm really getting tired of this level :)

    ReplyDelete
  132. It seems not everybody is happy with mailing so I post it (fielveredus, let me know if I have to delete or rewrite this post).
Google title (without the 3) and the numbers (don't forget the 0) seperately.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I must go now, please leave me a huge hint about 28. :)

    ReplyDelete
  134. Bye kaankanat,
    I will when/if I solve 28, but I'm really stuck.
Made numbers into letters, changed the order of the series, made the new order (great band by the way) into letters again, but I don't see a pattern at all.
    Anyway see you soon.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Hi @small-tool.

I'm working on level 28 too. I am trying to figure out what 26-1 means. I don't know whether it's a coincident or not, 9 never appears on the ten's digit. I'm going to google 2691 and see if it brings me anything.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I became aware that i am thinking way too hard for these kind of games. I am going to drink 16 beers and have another go :)

    ReplyDelete
  137. Just thought I'd say hi all! I'm just starting, so I'll be on comment page 1 scrolling for clues. Thanks in advance! :D

    ReplyDelete
  138. Ah great Ruff you did 27 too, congrats.
But your comment is all gibberish to me (no offense meant).
    No 9 on the ten's digit ?
    2691 ?
And about 26-1 I thought maybe it's the alphabet minus 1. And minus the Z doesn't help because it only goes to 9 so maybe minus A so the B is 1. But that didn't help me at all.

    ReplyDelete
  139. @small-tool, I mean those numbers on the screen. None of them has a 9 on the ten's place (i.e. the 3rd digit from left). I am assuming that 26-1 does not equals 25 but the "-" is a missing number. So I am trying to substitute the "-" with the missing 9.

  140. One more thing, never seen a zero on the numbers too.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Ah great mgkanda is here too.
Hope you don't expect me to join on the Treasure Rebus game now. Like I said before I'm an escaper, not a riddler and one riddle game at a time is hard enough for me.
Anyway hope you enjoy it, IMHO it's a good one.

    Koelio,
16 bier, da's niks, je zou eens moeten weten wat ik al achter de kiezen heb.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I gave up Treasure Rebus when I must solve the puzzles to proceed. I hate it when I had to print and cut out puzzles; then I reaslized that the puzzle were not properly sized and they never fit.

    ReplyDelete
  143. @small-tool, I'm going to get myself 26-1 beers too. Hope you'll pass level 28 when I return.

    ReplyDelete
  144. LOL@Ruff

It really can't be this difficult.
I tried to find missing numbers when you put them in order of low to high, but i ended up with 8929 wich makes HIBI... nothing there except for a movie from japan.

So... no, sorry, not enough beer yet!

    ReplyDelete
  145. @small-tool I'm all done with rebus 'til January anyway. I'm on 9 and cruising right along. Don't know where you all are, but hope (if it keeps up like this) I can catch up before you're all done.

    ReplyDelete
  146. I think I call it a night.
Did lots of thing in excel with all those numbers but nothing came up.
And about no zero in the numbers, that might be because the numbers are letters. And in that case we only have to deal with A B C D E F G H I, so maybe we can bruteforce a word with those letters (like; hide a deaf fag).
By the way, with a wrong answers it says something about tried rearranging but failing. So it has to do something with the order.
Anyway, see you all tomorrow (in this time zone that is).

    ReplyDelete
  147. That Whammy game took me a really long time to pass, but finally got some luck! I'm now stuck with you on lvl 28. Not any more time tonight to play it, but hopefully tomorrow.
I had a bit of the same idea as you @Ruff with inserting a number in the 26-1, but I also thought that maybe the "chosen one" is important and there is only one number 1 in that position - 7512. That didn't get me anywhere.
I too tried some alphabet things, but @small-tool, if it IS about that, there might be more than A-I, if we use for example 12 as L.
7512 gave me "gel" that way which is totally wrong lol.
I also tried to find some "rules" in the numbers, that would maybe give me one that doesnt follow them, or a 26th one.

    @Ruff, sent you an e-mail.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Too tired to think anymore... it's 02:27 here, so i'm off! See you all tomorrow...

    ReplyDelete
  149. Have a new idea about 26-1. I think it could mean J****** 26. I googled it with other words in source, found many interesting facts. Haven't found the answer yet. I hope I'm on the right track.

  150. HOF Update !

    ReplyDelete
  151. @Ruff, Ahhhh, would you look at that... There we are, side by side at the bonus HOF! Too bad you have a higher score. Hahahaha :P

Allright, back to business! I will get a cup of coffee and begin this horrible journey again.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Stuck on 18. Saw the clue in the source, but how the heck do I find out? I've been googling to no avail. Help me get out of here?

    ReplyDelete
  153. THANK YOU!!! Clearly something obvious that I wasn't seeing b/c on not one forum could I find a comment.

    Finally got it. :D

    ReplyDelete
  154. Uhh...nvm, just found a bunch of help on page 1 of comments. lol...still early for me :)

    ReplyDelete
  155. Now I'm not getting 19 at all. Was cruising right along last night and this morning...nada. :s

    ReplyDelete
  156. @mkganda, lvl19 is really hard (at least i thought) and i did get much help with it. Since you just started the level i won't give it away but i can say it's much easier if you can see what the 'FORMULA' is all about, and then take a peak in the source...

There are some other hints to help you further, so just try and see if you get it. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  157. Thanks @Koelio. Trying to work it out. Gotta' go soon. Hope to finish this one before then. :)

    ReplyDelete
  158. Is this something that someone who doesn't understand kinetic energy or racing stats figure out without help, or am I doomed?

    ReplyDelete
  159. Don't mention the picture... think about another formula that has E M C in it.

    ReplyDelete
  160. By 'don't mention' i meant 'don't focus on'

Dis you figure out what formula you need?

    ReplyDelete
  161. Ya, I think I know what to do now, but I have to go. Thank you for your invaluable help! I needed it! Will be back tonight or tomorrow. Have a good day! :D

    ReplyDelete
  162. Okay, stuck around for a few and I officially hate this one. Not to be grumpy, I get what the S is now, and it's not helping me in the slightest. This one is just way over my head. Shame b/c I was doing really well 'til now.

Hoping for an AHA moment when I come back to it.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Hi al, popped over from Treasure Rebus. Currently stuck on No 6 so a long way to go ;)

    ReplyDelete
  164. Welcome aboard SteveR
6 is not hard. All the letters you need are in the picture. Make an anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I've tried almost everything on level 28. Sometimes i thought i had it, but unfortunately nothing yet.
Does anyone else have more luck?

    ReplyDelete
  166. @Koelio, thank you for your crucial hints on level 24b. I don't know why my score is higher though.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Seriously stuck at level 28. I have tried everything I can, found lots and lots of information but none of them works.

I tried interpreting "26-1" as "J****** 26" and use it with the word o**** to find some historical military events.

I have tried different meanings of o****: such as o**** of battle, o**** and awards, as well as for rearrangement/regrouping.

I tried to rearrange (i.e. anagram) the word a*** as in the error message.

I have also interpreted 26-1 as missing letter and looked for missing letters from the numbers on the picture. Missing 10,11, 16,17,19, 20 & 22 (i.e. j,k,p,q,s,t,v). Nothing useful.

The span of my search covers almost the entire world. Even dated back all the way to B.C.

@fielveredus, please give us an extra hint!

  169. Hi @Edgar. I'll look into that. Stuck at level 28 for two days now. Really need to try a new path.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Thanks @Ruff, maybe you can come up with something that I still can't see myself.
Anyway, I'm convinced of converting numbers to letters is the key here: we have 25 groups but the level says they're 26-1, for me an obvious reference to the alphabets.
I also agree with you about the importance of an order or the re-arranging of something, and the "disordered" groups is what calls my attention the most.
Well, going for some food now and will come back later expecting some progress. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  171. @edgar, I can't even see which groups are "disobeying". You obviously found 6 ones (or at least made it into 6 letters). Do you have any hint to show the way you think about it?

    ReplyDelete
  172. @Ellie, me neither. However I have found 3 and 1 obeying groups. 3 groups when rearranged in decending order and 1 group when rearranged in ascending order. Obeying means never change position.

    ReplyDelete
  173. I've asked someone from another forum for a spoiler... hopefully he/she'll get back to me.

    ReplyDelete
  174. @Koelio, saw you over there. I love that Zrant2 emoticon :)

    ReplyDelete
  175. @Ellie, @Ruff
For disobeying groups I mean those which don't follow an ascending or descending order. The middle group in the upper row would be one of them, for instance.
Hmm, I might be wrong, but...

    ReplyDelete
  176. @Ruff, it's really how i feel right now :)

    ReplyDelete
  177. I must take a break now. Will be back later! Hope you guys have made some progress when I'm back!

    ReplyDelete
  178. I still don't understand @Edgar :( How do you mean with a ascending or descending order? Rows? Columns? And how did you translate them into letters? Added the numbers?

    ReplyDelete
  179. Or, maybe you meant within the groups? Well, I can get 6 groups that way, but don't see the same letters as you.

    ReplyDelete
  180. @Ellie
I mean the numbers in each group:

    9753 descending
    2589 ascending
    4857 don't follow any order!
We should shot these disobeying soldiers... do we have fire arms? lol.

Anyway, I'm kind of convincing myself I'm wrong :(

    ReplyDelete
  181. Well, this third group would give me a "C" (third letter on the alphabet if I count by rows from top to bottom)

    ReplyDelete
  182. Ok, ty... now I understand how you do it. But maybe it's about counting columns... or... Well, we'll get it soon :)

    ReplyDelete
  183. I really think the numbers are just a way to distract us. I think it has something to do with chosen one and army, but i still can't figure it out.

Thought i was close when i discovered the sleeping giant, but so far i haven't figured it out. Probably nothing.

I'm off to bed... maybe a good night's sleep will help me (as if)

    ReplyDelete
  184. @Koelio, sleeping giant??

    ReplyDelete
  185. Solved level 28!

Thanks to @Edgar's idea about treating each 4 digits as one group. The soldiers in each group must stand in the correct order, from lowest rank to highest rank. Those groups with any other orders must be shot! A total of 8 groups must be executed.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Edgar's post is too spoiler I think. :P

11/25/10 12:47 PM << this one is really too much

    ReplyDelete
  187. OMG!!! @Ruff!! You rock! :D
You did it, ha!! Despite I've already quit on THAT idea!
Great doing, LOL! I just solved it myself after reading your great news, but it's kind of late to keep trying now (very busy and tiring days here now).

And now I can see why that post from me is too much of a spoiler, since I was on the right track and my letters were all correct, although incomplete (almost an straight answer, the ONLY thing it shouldn't be allowed here). But yet not as spoiling as that other one from Graham, which made the author come to ask for a bit of moderation. Well, deleting mine now.

Again, WAY TO GO @RUFF!!! :DDD

    ReplyDelete
  188. Hasta mañana, @mundo.
Going to sleep much more better now :P

    ReplyDelete
  189. Thank you so very much for 28 Edgar.

Is it just word search on 29 or is there a hint somewhere for a search pattern?

    ReplyDelete
  190. @Edgar, YOU'RE THE MAN!!!!! Thank you so much, and ofcourse big thanks @Ruff as well for explaining it!

My god, thought we'd never pass this one!

    ReplyDelete
  191. Hof Up ! (26/11/2010)

  192. Level 29: The chamber of knight? Hmmm, i'm thinking chess... but that makes it so much harder to find something. It might be worth something though.
