ReplyDeletealfred hitchcock film made in 1935
ReplyDeleteTotally stuck on the maths wish id paid more attention in school when i was there lol
ReplyDeleteMaths is easy. First do the first bracket, add all numbers on top (dalmations + circumnavigation + steps), then divide them by bottom number (peking days). Then add numbers of amigos and sister sara mules. Then you have to do exponantiation, and after that find the square root of the result.
ReplyDeleteHope this makes sense, I am not good at explainig math in english :)
exponation ?
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exponentiation
ReplyDeletety lovely giraffe but i will never get that
ReplyDeleteok got 8

ReplyDelete@Michelle: Four films, one film star.
ReplyDelete@ Rambler
ReplyDelete1st green gem in its uncut state
2nd what color and what is it?
3rd what is it?
4th the gems?
@ bigtank
ReplyDeletefor 11:
Can you do something to make sense out of the nonsense?
how the heck do you even answer these???? There is no place to write anything on level one!!!!!!!! Stuck there. I know the movies, and can do math... but where to put the answer!!!!!!!!!!! This game is poorly designed.
ReplyDelete@Patty,
ReplyDeleteThe best game design (and Creo's games are always well designed!) wouldn't help if someone's not reading the game description.
It says:
"This is a 20 level URL replacement puzzle game..."
It's not nice to judge a game just because you're unfamiliar with how to play it.
The first URL is: .../movies/camera/scene1.html
Replace 'scene1' with your answer and you'll get to the next scene.
@Patty, you change the file name in the URL, the bit before the .htm
ReplyDelete@Aichless, thanks for the help. I can see what they are, j**e, s**ds***e, t*n and r****s, and as I said before I'm sure they are to do with w**dd**g a***v*******s, but I can't seem to get anything to fit.
@Rambler: it's not j**e, it's a different stone. Starts with e. Also, second image you need the object (and colour). Hope this helps.
ReplyDelete@lovely, thanks.
ReplyDeleteAhh, something just clicked.
Got it. I was way out lol
Onto 10 now, many thanks for the help :o)
Hint for scene 11:
ReplyDeleteFirst movie is with Kevin Kostner (from his good days)
Second movie is with Henry Fonda
Third movie is with Clint Eastwood
Now on 11, I enjoyed doing extra 'research' for 10 lol
ReplyDelete11 and 12 done :O)
ReplyDelete@Roy,
ReplyDeleteSecond movie is from 1984, Henry Fonda died 1982.
13 too, I'm motoring now...
ReplyDeleteAnyone here and need help?
@Charlie, I was thinking of the movie from 1968. It leads to the same answer though :-).
ReplyDeleteAny hints on scene 12?
@Roy, google them together, there is a common bond.
ReplyDeleteOnto 15 now...
ReplyDelete@Roy,
ReplyDeleteI know, you're right, it leads to the same answer :)
But if you look at the 'strange' title it gives you the right movie ;-)
Well, I am stuck at 15, so when you get that, I'll appriciate your help :)
ReplyDelete@lovely, so am I, I have the first 4 but I don't know who the last one is.
ReplyDeleteneed more help on 11 please
ReplyDeleteIt's the mummy.
ReplyDeletebigtank - song titles are anagrams.
ReplyDelete@bigtank, have you 'unravelled' the text clues? If so google them all together and one name should stick out. Think of the other part of the scene to help you more.
ReplyDelete@lovelyg, of course it is(doh!!)thankyou.
ReplyDeleteOff to do some research now....
ok got the first 2 stuck with the clint eastwod one
ReplyDeleteOh, I got 15. You need actors (except one) and use their names.
ReplyDeletenvm got it now thanks
ReplyDelete@lovelyg, how do you use their names?
ReplyDeleteIn the shortest way possible.
ReplyDeleteInitialy you mean? Tried that a few different ways, can't get anything that makes sense....
ReplyDeleteYou need one character and four actors.
ReplyDeleteI have them all, I presume it's a 5 letter word I'm looking for...
ReplyDeleteNo, you need 10 letters.
ReplyDeleteAh, got it, I was forgetting about the second letter of the character lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks again :o)
what am i missing on 13 , can find no connection between the 2 people other than they lived next door to each other
ReplyDelete@bigtank, there's a certain item in common...
ReplyDeleteok got a clue for the word c...... they both have one ?
ReplyDeleteomg nvm being blond
ReplyDeletelol, well done :o)
ReplyDeleteLevel 16 is a nighmare...

ReplyDelete@bigtank, think of L***s and R***s
ReplyDeleteOops, do you mean 15?
ReplyDeletesorry in 15
ReplyDeleteOh, and he's also a 'Sir' in real life...
ReplyDeleteAnyone making progress on level 16, I think it's showing us a code, but I can't separate the different parts of it. It's just too quick :o(
ReplyDeletety rambler onto 16
ReplyDeleteI got it by covering up one part of the screen with a notepad window and writing it down. Had to do it twice. It's in two parts ;)
ReplyDeleteis it Morse code or something
ReplyDelete@lovelyg, thanks for the tip, I'll give it a go now...
ReplyDeleteYay, got 16. I think I need to rest my eyes a little now lol
ReplyDelete@bigtank, yes it is....
ReplyDeleteWell and truly stuck on 17 now, I've got a single, twins and triplets, done some addition and am getting nowhere fast :o(
ReplyDelete@Rambler,
ReplyDeleteno single and only one triplet
ok will never get 16 making me feel ill
ReplyDelete@Charlie, thanks. I had 1 matched with 6 & 8, I see it goes with 5.
ReplyDeleteHo hum. Now what?
@bigtank, use lovelygiraffe's tip. Cover up the bottom one and then take it one bit at a time. Two words of 6 letters each, and they are very pertinent to the quiz ;o)
ReplyDeleteI hope that's not too much of a spoiler.
Just to clarify, cover bottom first then cover top.
ReplyDelete@Rambler,
ReplyDeletenow you have to figure out how what you found adds up to something
@Charlie, I have 6 numbers to add after the matching, is that right? If so, what do I then do with the result because it doesn't work in the URL.
ReplyDeleteok 16 done
ReplyDeleteWell done @bigtank, frustrating wasn't it lol
ReplyDelete@Rambler,
ReplyDeleteyou have too many...
got the first word just geussed the second on 16
ReplyDeleteOh. Okay, I'll have another look at it. I have 1 triple, 4 doubles and a single. Where have I gone wrong?
ReplyDeletecut the single..
ReplyDeleteYep, and then? It still doesn't work lol
ReplyDeleteI'm missing something glaringly obvious here aren't I...
ReplyDeleteyou need letters
ReplyDeleteLetters! Hmm, okay I'll have another look at it..
ReplyDeleteI hope I didn't confuse you...
ReplyDeleteLetters out of numbers..
Have to go now...Good Luck with the last scenes!
Cheers Charlie, I am a little confused but that's probably more to do with me. Thanks for all the help..
ReplyDeleteGot it, I had to go out, then as soon as I came back the answer jumped at me lol
ReplyDeleteHa, 18 was very easy for me :o)
ReplyDeletewell done rambler, can you point me in the right directio, the answer would be good
ReplyDelete@bigtank, which one, 17 or 18?
ReplyDelete17, paired some up then totally lost
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll let Mr Caesar explain
ReplyDeletebxnl lbh fubhyq unir 4 cnvef naq 1 gevcyr (nf puneyvr fnlf, vtaber gur 'zlfgrel bar). nqq rnpu vaqvivqhny tebhc gbtrgure naq lbh jvyy unir 5 qvssrerag ahzoref, pbaireg gurz gb yrggref naq lbh fubchyq unir gur fheanzr bs n snzbhf byq fjnfuohpxyre.

ReplyDelete@ger, what do you need to know?
ReplyDeletety rambler got it onto 18
ReplyDeleterambler i dont know what i need to do, i did some of the math but dont know what creo is looking for
ReplyDelete@ger, you're looking for a 2 digit number. Do the maths and it will get you there.
ReplyDeletegot a two digit number but it cant find a movie connection or am i looking for a movie for that year maybe
ReplyDeleteJust the number.
ReplyDeletehow you doing on 19 rambler
ReplyDeleteHey bigtank,
ReplyDeleteI've got the movie, that was pretty straightforward, but I've tried all sorts of combinations of the other 2 clues without success.
thank you rambler
ReplyDeleteNo probs ger, I've needed loads of help with this riddle so far :o)
ReplyDeletegot a country with coordinates
ReplyDelete@bigtank, it's a city in that country you need...
ReplyDeletenot sure i got it then
ReplyDeleteGot it!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you need some help bigtank, just ask...
It begins with C
ReplyDeleteok think i got the film . c........a for the car. and thats it
ReplyDeleteThe city I mean...
ReplyDeleteWhich will lead to a famous film.
Ah, well done. You're looking for a sort of establishment, use the second two clues, all parts of them...
ReplyDeleteLevel 20, looking at some of the other forums it seems this is a tough one.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with them lol
ReplyDeleteOooh, got an egg on level 20...
ReplyDeletestuck now on scene 14 ( the videos) I know who they are and found the movies but what now
ReplyDelete@ger, check out a certain list and do some simple maths ;o)

ReplyDeleteAhh, now you're with me. Just having a spot of dinner at the minute, so I'll be right back soon...
ReplyDeleteI'm back after a luvverly bit of roast beef dinner :o)
ReplyDeleteSo, we have the bottom row egg, but there is more. What could come first I wonder...
ooh lovelly roast beef and yorkshire pudding for me tommorow too
ReplyDeletedid you get the same egg as me b....n
ReplyDeleteYes bigtank.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on the top row now, got all sorts of weird websites when I google the first one with some of the others lol
Gonna walk the dog, back in about half-an-hour.
ReplyDeleteSolve it bigtank ;o)
I found the toprow also, so if you like a hint
ReplyDeleteooh a hint would be great jolande
ReplyDeleteI'm back!
ReplyDeleteA hint would be brilliant Jolande...
all nicknames
ReplyDeleteI am stuck at the two eggs...
Put the last one in IMDB
ReplyDeleteok got that egg too
ReplyDeleteWhen you say nicknames, do you mean character names?
ReplyDeletegood hint from jolande i thought it was a duck lol
ReplyDeleteyes, there is another word for it, but I am afraid that I say to much if I type the whole word, but the word is c***s**n.
ReplyDeleteBut if you know what is on the last picture and you put than in IMDB you will find the movie.
For 20:
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is what you think, but you have to give him a specific name. There is one that you can literally read. The last one is not Duck.
IMDB should help. :)
But than??? I have 2 eggs, but I cannot them out.
ReplyDelete@Aichless, for the first one, do you mean the type of person he is, i.e. his occupation as it were?
ReplyDeleteI cannot figure them out and I cannot type :-)
ReplyDeletei will finish this before i go to bed lol
ReplyDeleteRambler you need his name, he is very famous :-)
ReplyDeleteHis real name?
ReplyDeleteOh hang on, I thought it was Gandalf again, I see who it is now. It's the commandment man isn't it :o)
ReplyDeleteWho is dude number 2 on Scene 15? He looks so familiar, but I can't come up with a name.
ReplyDelete@bigtank, me too. I'm determined to lol
ReplyDeleteso do we need to find all the pictures. i have b......n for one egg and t.. g.. for the second
ReplyDeleteOn the first picture you see a w****d and his name is ****** and it is not Harry Potter :-)
ReplyDeleteBut realy you only need the last picture and when you use IMDB you will find the movie and than all the other names :-)
prunella, he is a sir, think x men
ReplyDelete@Prunella, Google drunken British actors, he'll be on there although it will be a long list lol
ReplyDeleteok got the 2 eggs but what now
ReplyDeleteyes what now...??? I tried so many things
ReplyDeleteOh Jolande, I'm confused again, I thought the first one was M***s...
ReplyDeleteso not a snake but a v..... and not a lion but a c....... and the wizzards name all give one film .
ReplyDeleteanyone around? I was doing okay until 15. Went through the comments until I started to get too many hints for levels I haven't seen yet.
ReplyDeleteI've got actors 1 and 3 and #4 is just whatever, but who are 2 and 5? I think I know what I have to do once I have them. Any hint?
@mkganda, for 2 see Gladiator and 5 see The Mummy
ReplyDeleteOh, I see now not too far up that Prunella was getting some good hints on that one. Thanks for that. :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry rambler, hinting in English is so difficult, but with bigtank last hint you must be able to find them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rambler!!! :D
ReplyDeletewell i have tried every other word for nickname but still stuck
ReplyDelete@Jolande, no worries, I've been at this on and off all day and my minds a bit scrambled lol
ReplyDeleteFor level 20,
ReplyDeleteCome up with an abbreviation from using the nicknames in the red square. Get an egg and then the final answer.
Oi...so not getting a word out of these actors. Can someone tell me if I need 1st, last, or both for them?
ReplyDeleteWell, that was a bit confusing, sorry. First you have to replace the pics with the names of the films (both are 6 letters long), and then use the letters in the red square.
ReplyDelete@mgkanda, anagram the initials.
BTW, I have to say thank you @Rambler! I went pretty stuck on level 17 and solved it with your help. Really appreciated :)
ReplyDelete@mkganda, you need a 10 letter word...
