@faltu, for level 51, you should be able to get the word not numbers. First, determine the

The numbers are not the answer and no anagram is possible, I think I've not decoded it properly. Is it 6 numbers?

ReplyDeleteThere are two ways to decode - one method is on wiki and the other on purple hell (both are code 128) I found the PH method easier while others preferred the wiki method.

ReplyDelete@Igarcia, level 18 is all about patience. First you have to type the symbols in a word file. Then replace each symbol with an unused alphabet. Use find to check if the alphabet is already used before you use it to replace a symbol; otherwise, the message won't be decrypted properly. After replacing all the symbols, you should have a string of alphabets. Use this link http://www.blisstonia.com/software/WebDecrypto/index.php Copy and paste the alphabets string and press solve.

ReplyDelete@ Bgarcia, Find the longest word in the sentence with symbols, give each symbol a name such as ?=a, +=b etc, then go to the site Ruff mentioned and decrypt it. You will know the value of most symbols and after that can configure the others.

ReplyDeleteonly found 4 D*S*****S associated with 4/5 pics and taken the 1st letters of each. I have letters 1,2,4,5 but not the third. Tried guessing the 3rd word to make a word which doesnt need anagramming but nothing working.
@Maxhug search the wiki page with each pic no. You will find all five. And if you find only 4, then also it's ok since no anagram is required.

Before I refreshed the page I tried to follow the instructions from Ruff, but somehow must have messed it up since the bars were not more clear than before. Starting to look at lvl 52.
The title of the pic makes me believe we might not need to decode another barcode for 52. Too bad I don't have any other ideas.

ReplyDeleteLevel 51 - Just had a look at the revised image Wow, what a change! Almost wish I would have waited until today to tackle it rather than spend 2 hours on it yesterday.
Level 52 - Thanks for the tip about what code to use. Was trying different things last night and the right one was not one I considered.
Level 53 was quite a relief after the previous two levels.
Level 54 - just started it and not done yet - but there's another image to find :)
Now it should be easy using gimp and picking letters.

ReplyDeleteAfter finding the two pic, you have to open them as layers in Gimp. In dockable dialog>layers you can manipulate the transparency from 100 to a lower value. Set the background at 100 and all the other at zero. Then selecting any of the layer raise the transparency a little bit, you can see the blue dot pointing to a letter.

ReplyDeleteMaxhug just google area of trapezoid and you will have a formula, it is most easy math, only division and multiplication.
