hi maxhug, yes this one bugs me, too. I`m going through all levels now, looking for where we saw the others to get an order, because we have 8 doors and I´m thinking on binary code.

@s-t, if you have found 'ineiahar', that means you have all the letters correct. Just change the "encrypt" box to "decrypt". If your decryptor isn't working try this:

ReplyDeletekaankanat's "new" clue is not a clue at all. As a riddler, decoding messages is just one of the basic things we will automatically do. However, the level hints are so vague that we don't know what to decode and what to use as a key. Think about why long tynka has been stuck on this level, then we know it's not easy!

ReplyDelete@Bgarcia - break the page into 6 areas (3 on top and bottom - if I remember correctly) then mark Es on top and As on bottom - then go to the alphabet (blind is a hint), match up and find letters for answer

On 57 I tried a lot of things with using the directions how you get to a door (like left, left right for door 1-1-2). And then using those directions on letters in the alphabet or on the keyboard or on the words on the door.
Used all different kind of methods to pick a starting letter (first letter of a door, how many letters on a door and that converted to a letter, using the letter that is on the cross between the doors, etc etc.)
Gonna try different things tomorrow.

I was trying to read the texts as a cryptic crossword type of clue and with "how much time do I have" and "LAST TWO" I thought tiME and then "3 of them" would make me think I'd also need 3 letters from them, but I was off. Then that hint that sent me right back to tiME, but clearly that's not the right track so...just thinking aloud. :s

Not that any of my thoughts have been of much help - but anyway...

Since we need google for this level, I searched for a link between the zodiac killer and the number 3.
The Zodiac killer (in real life) wrote 4 ciphers and 3 of them are still unsolved. So then I looked up the 3 unsolved ciphers.
Also, his first cipher (the only one to be successfully decoded) consists of 3 parts.
I've been examining these ciphers in search of a link between them and the hint: "you are the part of the answer" but anything I tried obviously didn't work.
I also tried examining the LAST TWO. The last two ciphers he wrote and the last two parts of the first cipher.
(I also searched for movies with links to the dialogue in the level but no luck with that either)

Usually if they're really over my head I know at the get go and don't bother, but this one is logical and only got really really hard in the last half. Mostly because there is so little to lead you. It's only the levels with hidden text or second images or something that I can really figure out.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't it look like part of the pic of the chat screen has been erased? The part the chat bubble comes from on the lower right? If we're talking to ZK and his pic is up there then ours or "you" should be down there...Maybe we do need to find out who you is.

ReplyDeleteI agree, there's certainly something fishy about that area, I've blown it up to 400% on gimp and there's definitely some jiggery pokery gone on there. How to to unmask the ID though is another matter :o(
I've tried things with LAST TWO hours.

- Last and second letter of the alphabet.
- Last two letters of the alphabet.
- 11 and 12 o'clock, so letter 11 and 12 from the alphabet, or E and T (first letters of 11 and 12).
- R and S from hours
And that combined with other clues, but nothing.
Btw you and the last two of hours makes 'yours' and maybe that's part of the answer.
Anyway gonna try some other things.

ReplyDeleteI've been in and out trying things too. I thought of the "yours" before and tried "yourself" b/c of his hint, but what about only 3 of them can help you? 3 of what? I've given up on it being 3 of t-h-e-m, but what else? There are several layers, letters, words, anything...

@EnJoy Real Riddle? If so, look at "thirty" on the actual tab and then go back. Do the other levels have it that way?
