    ReplyDelete
  15. ok on 58 will try to ca\tch up lol

    ReplyDelete
  16. @chipsi Just first and last name will get you to second part. Have grid (which supposedly is not only letters) and no idea what to do. Trying to see a pic in it and getting dizzy lol.

    ReplyDelete
  17. okay, so we're missing a pic. We need one with 4 white squares. Not sure where to look.

    ReplyDelete
  18. thanks, I tried so many things but not the obvious, this riddle leeds me to think way to complecated. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  20. ok how did you guess from luthorians post what you needed

    ReplyDelete
  21. @bigtank I KNOW! I was thoroughly impressed myself. Btw, Luthorien got back to me. It was properties.

Anyway, there is more to this photo :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hint from Luthorien was:
    C******y

I had really luck by guessing. Do you need a mail?

    ReplyDelete
  23. lol slow down mk. i have not even got the first bit yet

    ReplyDelete
  24. hmm...maybe I was mistaken :s

    ReplyDelete
  25. no I was right. It's just more complicated than simple layers. hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  26. yes please chipsi look like mk is away with the fairies lol

    ReplyDelete
  27. okay, I'm back to thinking I was wrong? Apparently there are indexed layers to the photo, but I've only ever needed that info to see an images color map. Can't find anything in it.

You said you found 1-6 @chipsi?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I found the numbers in the grid by using the search option. no pictures or any other thing.

    ReplyDelete
  29. LOL @bigtank! Sorry about that. @chipsi's got mail coming to you right?

    ReplyDelete
  30. ok think i am caught up now looking at the manuscript

    ReplyDelete
  31. The photo I was talking about you can get off of the first part where it's clipped to the manuscript. Anyway, can't do anything with it and can't find the one we're missing. :s

    ReplyDelete
  32. "what's the first thing you do when you come to a new page" from forum. hmm...what should I be doing?

  34. lol we posted that together

    ReplyDelete
  35. aww...that was cute. at exactly the same time :)

    well checked source. what else?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Can you see what I see with that photo? If you "inspect element"-"resources"-"photo"-there seems to be more to it. Why can't I get to it with GIMP?

    ReplyDelete
  37. ok have found the 1-6 like chipsi said as well we need that grid baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddd

    ReplyDelete
  38. Exactly. Found the numbers too. Now what?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Okay gotta go. Good luck and leave me hints! :D

    ReplyDelete
  40. got the photo on gimp what do you want me to look at

    ReplyDelete
  41. ok got the photo over the grid now , nothing

    ReplyDelete
  42. Found the picture with the four white squares, trying to apply it to the grid now

    ReplyDelete
  43. gm having a go at 60 now , printing off both images

    ReplyDelete
  44. Good morning bigtank! I am trying to connect the two grids with gimp, no luck so far.

    ReplyDelete
  45. hi printed them off buta bit small, got 3 letters now trying for the rest. lining up the top left box with the number right?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think so, it is the only possible way.

    ReplyDelete
  47. any luck chipsy, sticking he printed piece of paper up to the screen now. lol , going out for a while soon though

    ReplyDelete
  48. no, no luck, are we searching for a word or a sentence?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hi,@zephyr29. On the page with the letter-grid look in source

    ReplyDelete
  53. @zephyr29 did you find it or do you need a mail?

    ReplyDelete
  54. yup found it.Thnx. Now trying to figure out how to do it without having to print it out

    ReplyDelete
  55. having real problems with this one.do we keep them the same size as on screen or make the man...... a bit smaller

    ReplyDelete
  56. Have the sentence from the grid. Don't change size of the letter-grid, I got it by counting.
    Will send mail

    ReplyDelete
  57. hi bigtank we r supposed to be finding a sentence (got tht from nord) but how is it letter to number in the grid or what so stuck in tht method 6j gets us to n******

    ReplyDelete
  58. mail for me tooo plz chipsi

    ReplyDelete
  59. @bigtank, zephyr29 and mkganda, you should have the mail now.

    ReplyDelete
  60. ty what now that is not the answer

    ReplyDelete
  61. nope didnt recv mail yet can u resend plz

    ReplyDelete
  62. @bigtank just google the sentence, you need three words

    ReplyDelete
  63. ty chipsi, how did you get the sentence

    ReplyDelete
  64. @zephyr sent again, let me know if you got it, otherwise I have to use another email-account.

    ReplyDelete
  65. @chipsi still didnt recv mail can u give me a hint how to count plz

    ReplyDelete
  66. sent the message for zephyr

    ReplyDelete
  67. put the first top left white square, where the number is. Count on the square grid to the next square and do this again on the letter-grid. The first was 8 to the right and 10 down you get T. It is important that you don't change the size of the letter grid!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. @zephyr sent again. Did you look in your spam-file, maybe it is there.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Morning! :) Only have about 20 minutes to play. Thank you so much for the mail, on 61 now and it looks from the Ukranian in the notes like we need a cipher I've never heard of before. :s

    ReplyDelete
  70. hmm...I think it's v*******

    ReplyDelete
  71. gotta go, good luck and thank you again! :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. could be v*******. I googled the cyrillic words and translated them and it is called different, but looks like the same cipher. hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  73. ok how we doing this looks really hard, have you found a decoder yet chipsi

    ReplyDelete
  74. It is V******* cipher. for the key use second line of the notes. Reading from another side helps and you don't need every letter.

    on yaroslavl station now

    ReplyDelete
  75. ok got that much but how do i know what letters i need

    ReplyDelete
  76. stuck on second part. hint on mindskell

    ReplyDelete
  82. it is not the last two words

    ReplyDelete
  83. does this sound like the correct word o*****'

    ReplyDelete
  84. I tried to anagram each word seperatly and all words together. no result so far.

    ReplyDelete
  85. can you get on the italian forum will not let me on anymore

    ReplyDelete
  86. @bigtank, no I can't, they must have another password for tower I.

    ReplyDelete
  87. @chipsi and bigtank u need to enter the password that we had entered ont the first level of tower 1 d*****

    ReplyDelete
  89. ooh mk is back i spied her on nord ,lol come and help us .

  91. That's funny bigtank! I've had it open, but just sat down to have a look as you were posting that. :P

I'm afraid I need help getting to the first station though. :s

    ReplyDelete
  99. welcome mk so r u at yaroslavl or the next one

    ReplyDelete
  100. hmm...not getting an anagram I can use. I'm decent at manual anagramming so I may try that. I wonder if the word lengths are at least correct?

    ReplyDelete
  101. @mk u need to use more than one at a time (got that from nord)

    ReplyDelete
  102. @chipsi yaroslavl...that's where you are, right?

I think I'm close here. Mailing you all.

    ReplyDelete
  103. i could be mistaken about using more than one together because i tried all possible combinations but nothing jumps out

    ReplyDelete
  104. got it. check your mail. :)

    ReplyDelete
  105. brb...waiting at Kirov station.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Wow and thanks, how do you get this in that short time!!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Kirov, looks like another code, back to purplehell!

    ReplyDelete
  108. I do cryptic crosswords and manually anagram a LOT lol. I figured "the" and "is" were in there from the last one so it wasn't that bad.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Ya, what kind though? :s

    ReplyDelete
  110. hint on mindskell from Luthorien:

it's a veeeeeery common code! But applied in a different way

and: shaharc should know also this code

    ReplyDelete
  111. LOL @chipsi! I just copied that and was going to past it here too! :P

Okay, so I've seen shaharc in Nord forums, but don't know how this relates. Maybe screen name is ciphered. hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  112. apparently this is an easy cipher...:s

    ReplyDelete
  113. I was thinking autokey, but it's not working :(

    ReplyDelete
  114. so, what is an easy and very common cipher? Caesar, morse, crytpgram...?

    ReplyDelete
  115. We have 6 letters and a single, then 6 and a single and so on. If it's autokey "in a different way" maybe if ?????? is ? and ?-(is)?????? etc...it wants the 6 characters that would be S? Does that make any sense? :s

Have about 15 minutes left. Hope we can get it.

    ReplyDelete
  116. tried almost all ciphers on PH nothing

    ReplyDelete
  117. hi back for a while are we all on kirov now, looking for another cipher. also got a friend request on fb for a Karthik Kumar is it any of us ?

    ReplyDelete
  118. that make sense, lets try

    ReplyDelete
  119. http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/rot13.php

    i use this one too

    ReplyDelete
  120. somehow i can read the word english if u line them up one below other but cant do the rest

    ReplyDelete
  121. aha! Good eye zephyr! Maybe it's caesar box in a different way? Hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  122. my problem with autokey is that I just don't get it. Even with the explanation on PH. lol

    ReplyDelete
  123. okay, gotta' go. Will someone email me if you get it? Have fun, bb in a couple of hours. :)

    ReplyDelete
  124. good @zephyr, will try it with the caesar-box-way.

    ReplyDelete
  125. anyone here im still at kirov u guys got it???
