  1. put the two phrases on a simple text editor, one up and one down and look for similar things

    ReplyDelete
  2. Forgot all about the level title, so thanks again Segnodelcoma (by the way is that 'the sign of a coma?).

Anyway, still don't have it. Do I cross out letters or complete words?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I was just doing that but I was deleting letters.
    Thanks Segnodelcoma.

  4. Good morning.. I am stuck on 16 too. the morse code. Would someone mind sending me the sentence. I just looked into downloading audacity, but don't really want to. Don't think I would use it again and I have tried to decode from listening, but I am making too many mistakes!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Good afternoon EnJoy,
    I did.

    Faltu,
Do you already have it? I don't.

  7. I cannot find seven letters only by deleting letters.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Have to reverse the letters upside down and notice the similarities? Then have to do it by hand.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I think we have to find the letters in the same place of the two sentences.

    ReplyDelete
  10. no need to move letters or words, no reverse...when youhave both phrases written just look at them if they have something similar

if you can't decode morse here is the phrase (but if you havve an audio editor DO IT! XD)

  11. make 5 from the 7 (in order),

    *stares blankly at 17*

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm lost on this one... staring at letter upside down and getting nowhere.

This is usually where I give up on these riddles.. my computer skills are nil!

    ReplyDelete
  13. for 17, if you don't pay attention you'll need to reload

    ReplyDelete
  14. and there is a error contained within

    ReplyDelete
  15. Still stuck on 16, cannot find the similarity. Enjoy you are not alone, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  16. 16 is killing me.. I am not even getting the 7 letters as mentioned above, let alone 5

    ReplyDelete
  17. @ tony

how about a spoiler for 16???

    ReplyDelete
  18. I shouldn't play escape games in between (but I like them a lot) but just concentrate on this one. But anyway I think it wouldn't make a big difference; I'm just missing the point. Looked at both sentences (above each other) a long time but can't seem to find the similar things (besides bath and/or drowning with lake) or how to use them.
Please another hint and sorry for being not that smart.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I totally forgot about the phrase in the hint. I was only looking at the phrase that was from mark twain..

Duh. Now maybe I will get somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Small-tool if you are stuck too, then I am not feeling stupid so much.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oops, didn't refresh, but it's good to see I'm not the only one who's lost/stupid.
Sorry guys, don't take 'stupid' personal :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. @small-tool

there was an error in the phrase you sent me, the word "manner" should be "manners"

    ReplyDelete
  23. Enjoy have you got it?
Small-tool I am very much stupid, nothing to mind.

    ReplyDelete
  24. here is a hint that I got from another message board p.m. I can't find text editor on my mac, but I am looking

copy these two phrases into windows txt editor, enlarge the window so that 1 phrase takes 1 line, the second phrase on the second line, now look wherethere are the same letters in both phrases and you will see that there are only 5 letters in the same position in both phrases[/QUOTE]

    ReplyDelete
  25. 16: http://i.imgur.com/JVfAt.png

    17: 'etir' should be 'iter'

    ReplyDelete
  26. Charlemagne expanded his beloved building around the big lake but he built too many waiting rooms.
It is a mistake that there is no bath that will cure people's manners, but drowning would help

these are the two phrases, pastethem somewhere and just lok at them! i can't do more because i'dgive you the solution...5 letters

    ReplyDelete
  27. Finally got it.
Use the spaces (as place for a letter) too.

    ReplyDelete
  28. And didn't refresh again.
But thanks anyway Tony and Segnodelcoma.
By the way, are you guys new here on EG24?
Anyway, you guys are a great help and very smart.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  34. hmm... I have no idea.

this URL gives error, but I guess we will use it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @kaan yes that url does not work, just edit your actual game url with the ending of the url you find that hint

    ReplyDelete
  36. Kaan,

    "the url gives error" ?

Did you get the text file from 'quickly' (before it's gone) clicking the growing star?

'Open' didn't work for me, but I downloaded it by choosing 'save file'.

    ReplyDelete
  37. yes I saw it, I mean the URL under the text.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @segnodelcoma thanks! found the right URL.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ah thanks Kaan.

    Anyway to get the Egg.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @st I still cant find the book. another hint please? :)

  105. I can't do magic eye, because I wear bi-focal contacts (one eye for distance and one eye for reading)

My daughter looked at it and she thinks she sees 3,14.

If anyone else can help, please email me because there is no way I can do it

    ReplyDelete
  106. it is 3,14 so what does 3,14 mean? (in italy we use "," for decimal instead of ".")

    ReplyDelete
  107. Oops, just before going to bed I solved level 19. Guess I was tired and drunk enough to (un)focus my eyes to see it.
    A hint...?

Well, you got to see it by staring at/behind the picture to see the date and then Google.

Another one; it's a mathematical celebration. Geeks/nerds are happy on this day.

    Last one; circles.

    ReplyDelete
  108. POP.. got 19 the magic eye

the numbers my daughter saw were correct. but it was not a comma between the numbers it was a period!

that should do it for you!

glad to finally do one on my own. The last few levels made me feel dumber than a shoe!

    ReplyDelete
  109. well small-tool looks like we both solved the magic eye at the same time.. just when I thought I could pat myself on the back!

the poem is titled November by thomas hood.

    searching Nov. 5??

    ReplyDelete
  110. Is the music different to the photo clues?

    ReplyDelete
  111. well the music and the photo have raindrops ... but I tried to put those in.

    ReplyDelete
  113. soft machine 5 has a song called drop.. and if you listen to it there are sounds of drip drops

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  115. Good morning, stuck on lvl 20. there is a rhyme with november and remember that leads me to an event in london in the 17th century, but this date doesn`t work.

    ReplyDelete
  116. hi chipsi great to have you on board. You need to find the
    Spoiler:
    whole and rh ..

    Spoiler:
    you hear something ... (Twice)

i just got this from the mindskell forum

    ReplyDelete
  117. hi bigtank, just searching for the whole poem and hope to find sth. at the end which sounds the same.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Read the r**** ,and look for something that has sound...(use it all)

    ReplyDelete
  119. okay, found two thinks that make sound, trying now to find out how to input it.

    ReplyDelete
  127. no, the rhyme with remember november which relates to guy fawkes.

    ReplyDelete
  128. on lvl 21 now!!!

for 20, at the end of the rhyme there is sth. that makes a sound, you need the whole four words phrase, after that the second four word phrase that rhymes with the first.

    ReplyDelete
  129. bigtank, if you read me, you gave excellent clue. ty.

    on 19 now.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hi guys, just back and I see you solved 20.
Congrats, but I still don't have it.
I guess I need another rhyme than the one from the egg, right?
How do I find that rhyme?

    ReplyDelete
  131. hi small-tool!! just google remember november rhyme and it should be the first you find

    ReplyDelete
  132. Is it the rhyme that has only 4 sentences?
If so, I still can't find a 4 word phrase!?

    ReplyDelete
  133. hi s-t still stuck on 20 too and you are welcome serap

    ReplyDelete
  134. that was more annoying then the other annoying one

    ReplyDelete
  135. the rhyme you need is 9 lines, not the 4 line
you'll enter 4 words, then enter another 4

    ReplyDelete
  136. Thanks Tony, but somehow I can't find a 9 lines rhyme. With those Google keywords I just keep finding the 4 lines rhyme!?

    ReplyDelete
  137. http://www.colinmcnulty.com/blog/2007/10/19/remember-remember-the-5th-of-november/

finaly have a look s-t.only found the short version b4

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  139. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunpowder_Plot_in_popular_culture

    ReplyDelete
  140. Thanks Tony,
    Finally found the complete rhyme.
    On 21 now.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Lol guys, I just found it, but thanks for all the links.
    And let's add another one. I found it here;

    http://www.prattontexas.com/_disc1/000003db.htm

    ReplyDelete
  142. On21

i search Nicaea in wiki. it looks me a mythological. i check it but it didnt work. any clue?

    ReplyDelete
  143. For 21
    I have the name of the picture it is;

    ET IN ARCADIA EGO.

If you look at the first line of the extra info (dog at nicaea) and you cross out all the letters. You end up with 3 letters that are left (r,e,i).

Maybe we have to do something like that with the second line too.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Okey. so second line give us; t,a,o.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Could be Serap,
But there's an E left too in 'I recede again'.
    And then you get t, a, o, e.
And combined with the other one and anagrammed I get 'oriteae'. Seems to be some kind of plant, but maybe we have to look for Latin, because of 'Memento'.

    ReplyDelete
  146. hey!

I stucked on 21 too. If you anagram these 6 letters(without E), you will get somewhere in italy. But then what?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Nvm.
    Got it, on 22 now.

The extra E left I was talking about you have to substract again.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Just joining in for the morning.. STUCK ON 20!!

read entire poem, but not clear on what to enter.

this is what I have been trying but not working

    God save the King!
    Hip hip hooray!

    ReplyDelete
  149. Well, on 22 I found a list where all 6 persons are on. So now I have numbers, but no idea what to with the numbers and no idea what to do with W and N.

    ReplyDelete
  150. @small-tool

    Help me with 20! I think it should be H** H** H*****

    but it isn't working

    ReplyDelete
  151. @st I still stuck on 21. Is it about the plant or the place? or something else?

    ReplyDelete
  152. more hints for 21 please s-t :(

    ReplyDelete
  153. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Kaan and Tony,

If you cross out the letters you get 3 letters from the first one and 3 letters from the second one, BUT you also get a letter from 'I recede again' That letter has to be substracted from the first 3 letters, so your answer is 5 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  158. EnJoy,
    4 words = Correct!
then wait.. 4 words = Correct! again

(and try 'let' if 'make' doesnt work)

    ReplyDelete
  159. s-t and others
for 22, I think its location coordinates

    ReplyDelete
  160. Thanks Tony and small-tool.. on 22 now also.

BTW small-tool.. excellent in finding the name of the painting so fast!

    ReplyDelete
  161. EnJoy,
    To find a picture I use this site;

    http://www.tineye.com/

    ReplyDelete
  162. 5 letters anagrams to alot of different words, maybe i have the wrong letters

    ReplyDelete
  163. Yes, I use tineye a lot, how were you able to enter the photo? did you use the URL???

I wasn't able to with my poor computer skills

    ReplyDelete
  164. EnJoy,
I first made my own picture with printscreen.

    Bigtank,
In the comments above are the right letters.

    Anyone,
    Any idea about 23?

    ReplyDelete
  165. @EnJoy you can take screenshot of the picture.

I need help on 22. I know they are co*******s, but I dont know how to take numbers from this people.

    ReplyDelete
  166. poop, perhaps I have the wrong people list

    ReplyDelete
  167. bigtank.. begins with "R"

    ReplyDelete
  168. Kaan and Tony,

    I used this site;

    http://web.hallym.ac.kr/~physics/course/a2u/evolution/img/toptenlistweb.pdf

    ReplyDelete
  169. Well, on 23 I found out that the note is two quotes from two different persons. And now???

    ReplyDelete
  170. on 22 I am getting a road in G.B.???

    ReplyDelete
  171. for 22, I know what it is... but it doesnt work!

    ReplyDelete
  172. For 22, it is in GB alright.
    Very famous, very ancient.

    ReplyDelete
  173. just google the letters, numbers in order
    (x 00 00 00, x 00 00 00)
there should hopefully be a picture thats recognisable

    g/l with 23 s-t, i'm done for the day

    ReplyDelete
  174. I already found it and I know, it is very famous, but it doesnt work...

Am I have to try latin of it or something?

    ReplyDelete
  175. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Thanks Tony (but I'm afraid I need more than good luck). See you tomorrow.

Well, for 23 I can't find anything in common between those two people and the level title doesn't help either.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Kaan,
    No latin, no anagram, just one word;
    S.........
    It should work.

    ReplyDelete
  178. EnJoy,
